Minister Porkof nodded. "That would be most agreeable. However, we have so far been taking the most optimistic route - that these people will actually bother coming to the peace table.But we'll see where the meeting takes us first. When and when can the next possible contact with this group be?"

"I sincerely don't know, but you have been in this meeting much longer and might know more about them."

[Crystal Spires]

"It is my belief that the meeting with the hostile nations must be done in a case-by-case basis. Though I believe there is a lot we must do. Also I believe we need an official seal on behalf of our cause. I believe the symbol of the balance may be a suitable symbol that we should put on it, and when we wish to speak on behalf of the Union we could use this seal, and any time we wish to speak on behalf of the union rather than just our nation, but I believe we should vote first on whether action should be taken. Once there is general approval, the seal can be used and the lines opened to negotiations with our group." Maven said as he brought out another candy ice.

[Yorobia]

Henry pulled out his iPad and made a quick scan of what might be useful as a seal. "I have printed out some pictures we might be able to use, but further ideas will come later for me." Henry ran to the printer and showed the group a copy of a couple of pictures that looked sort of like this.















And finally, the last suggestion for now,

"We like the Goddess of Justice idea balancing out equality and freedom, but our fear with the first symbol is that the scale is unbalanced and tipping toward equality rather than freedom and thus can be interpreted as a message of our sacrificing one principle in favor of the other. Otherwise I believe I am pleased with these symbols and wish to present an idea of our own as well." Maven said with an image in hand.

[Yesopalitha]

A Wraith glided into the room, clad in a dark cloak, and unusually silent.

*Thirty soldiers clad in white and blue armor rush into the room and proceed to surround the delegates

Maven looked at the men and crossed his arms. "Good evening gentlemen, you have just entered a closed meeting of the Union of Equality and Freedom, and I would like to remind you that the High Council Building is heavily guarded and if you intend to cause trouble... Ah, but where are my manners, I am High Chancellor Maven Auryn. How can I help you?"

Maven was not amused, he could easily use his flame specters, but he did not want to create a scene, nor use combat magic openly if he didn't have to.

[Yesopalitha]

The Wraith spoke up.

"My name is Denasil, and I am here on behalf of My Lady Nirdasil, the Night Stalker of the Lost Ones, the De Facto Leader of the Unbidden, and the Holy Crusader of the Chosen of Zaiden."

[Aravea]

One of the strange men steps forward to speak and says" Chancellor Maven, several senior Aravean government officials were killed in the past few hours. Acting President Vincent Harling has enacted EXC: Protocol 4101 to safeguard all remaining senior Aravean officals from further assassination attempts. The President sent elements of the 501st Division to secure the Aravean delegate at this conference"

[Crystal Spires]

"Egad! That's horrific, Nagase is dead? This is a loss to us all...Ah, and well met Denasil. Nirdasil has spoken to me about you, but now has become a more dangerous situation. Assassinations! Horrible...we're willing to increase our security. This is most certainly an awful surprise, but rest assured. The Uncorruptibles will protect this High Council building well." Maven said as he relaxed a bit.

[Aravea]

The soldier looked hung his head in saddness and said "She was just one of thirty-six Aravean government officials assassinated. In fact the only senior government official left is President Harling"

[Yesopalitha]

"My condolences," stated Denasil, and then took a step back. He would speak when it was required of him, but he wasn't much of a talker - he didn't understand why Lady Nirdasil had sent him.

[SHADOW Corporation]

Drawing his PPK12 gauss pistol at this, Delas allowed it to rest less then calmly upon his lap, under the table and out of sight. Before speaking, his calmly collected accent formulated for this very occasion. “Yes... How may we help you gentlemen?-” While less then convinced at their explanation, Delas nonetheless reholstered his weapon. “Ah, well that is most unfortunate... Myself and my nation offer it’s condolences, but will this unfortunate turn of events be cause for our fellow Aravean delegate to make haste for the home front?”

[Aravea]

The Aravean delegate stands and clears her throat and says "No, I will not be forced to flee from a discussion about global freedom just because of a terrorist attack"

[Free Republic China]

Shortly after, several men, armed with AK-47s enter the room. After them came a tall and handsome gentlemen. "Greetings all, I am Gen. Sho Shin, Supreme Commander of The People's Republic of Free Republic China. I am sorry to be late for the meeting. I was held up with my own terrorist uprising at my capital."

[SHADOW Corporation]

Noticing the entry of yet another armed delegation, Delas spoke. "Always with the tourists terrorists, eh?" Sighing halfheartedly at this, Delas continued. "Could I please ask your men to kindly leave their weapons at the door? I can assure you those who guard this High Council Building, 'The Uncorruptibles'... Or something to that effect, are more then capable of guaranteeing your safety." Shooting a reassuringly disarming smile to the Aravean and Chinese delegations respectively at his closing remark, Delas lazily reclined back in his conference room chair.

[Free Republic China]

"I am sorry sir. these men are here for my protection. They shall remain armed as well as I. I hope you respect this. However, to ease everyone's mind, i shall have them place the safety on and shoulder their arms." "Men, shoulder arms". My men do as they are told, but unnoticeable take the safety off. "Now, what seems to have happened so far?"

[Aravea]

"Sorry but we are under direct orders from the President to ensure the safety of the Aravean delegate" the soldier said

[Free Republic China]

I look over to the Aravenan delegates and say, "ah it is so good to see my comrades again. I heard what happened to Madame President. Such a shame really. She helped forge the alliance between our two nations. She will never be forgotten by the people of FRC".

[Yorobia]

"I believe I do not understand your reason to overwhelmingly protect the Aravean delegate. Please explain." Henry put his chin on his hand and stroked his chin.

[Archnar]

President Alex intimidated by the armored soldiers slunk into his chair."Maybe we should continue when there isn't 30 armed soldiers in the room" the communist leader suggested.

[Aravea]

"Thirty-six Aravean officials including the former President, her cabinet, and several members of Congress were assassinated. As it stands, Ms. Cross here is also the acting Secretary of State and she is important to the continuity of government, which is why she must be protected at all costs" the soldier replied.

[Free Republic China]

i turn to the Archnar President and say, "You have no worries from us, Comrade. Just as long you or anyone else doesn't do anything stupid such as trying to disarm us or shoot at us. My men are just here to protect me. It is standard procedure for FRC delegations to have armed guards."
