The Coalition Of Steel was unofficially formed During the Emperic-Scorpion war, when four nations came together to retaliate against New Scorpio for an unprovoked attack on New Emperica, and remove their dictator from power. These nations were Super Bwitain, New Emperica, The Ruvian Empire and The Pyhrric-Annexed Bourgeois Americas. When the war finally ended, the Emperican General Secretary, Iustes, made an offer to us that would prove to be beneficial to all sides. It would come in the form of Military Protection, as well as trade and technological advancements. But it also had a darker meaning; Whenever New Scorpio dared threaten the Coalition, or any other innocent nation, they would mobilize, waging war against New Scorpio once more.
What I am here to ask is this: Join us! Join us and flourish Militarily, Economically and Technologically. Join us and protect the freedom of innocent nations from the Imperialistic nations such as New Scorpio and Halberd Pass; Join us and become a Prestigious nation, respected by all; a shining Knight that Strikes down the Wicked and Manipulating.
Charter
ARTICLE I
I.1) Hereby defining 'Imperialist' as a nation and/or person who seeks to further the boundaries of his/her empire for the sole purpose of power.
I.2) Hereby declaring 'Imperialist' nations and leaders as the enemies of the coalition to a reasonable extent.
I.3) Nations falling under the definition of 'Imperialist' (see 'I.1') shall not be admitted to the Coalition; However, exceptions may be made in the event of a beneficial ally to the Coalition.
I.4) All member nations are subject to background checks, generally done by the voter nations before their vote is sent in. Any nation that does not pass that background check is subject to a "Nay" vote by any nation.
ARTICLE II
II.1) Member nations are expected to trade with one another when the situation warrants.
II.2) Any major (civilian) technologies discovered are to be shared amongst members.
II.3) Any member found participating in 'imperialistic' behavior, or a cohort to imperialist nations and/or leaders will be subject to trial and possible suspension by fellow coalition members.
ARTICLE III
III.1) An attack on one coalition member is an attack on all coalition members.
III.2) A military response is mandatory should a fellow coalition come under unprovoked attack from any nation.
III.3) Hereby defining an 'Coalition Assault' as an attack in which the coalition itself declares war on a nation and/or alliance, and retaliates.
III.4) If a coalition member was an aggressor in any conflict, no official Coalition Assault shall take place; However, individual nations can still join, and coordinate with each other to appropriately attack said nation.
III.5) Military technologies of utmost importance (that may turn the tide of a major war) must be shared when the situation warrants it.
III.6) Hereby defining a 'WMD' (Weapon of Mass Destruction) as a device designed to cause massive civilian casualties or the destruction of entire cities.
III.7) Any and all WMDs owned by coalition members must be reported, in full, to the Coalition.
ARTICLE IV
IV.1) In the event of a natural (or otherwise) disaster, other coalitions must send aid (if said nation is capable) to the afflicted nation(s), to restore order and peace in the nation.
ARTICLE V
V.1) The charter may be amended at any time by a majority vote.
V.2) The laws found in Article V may not be removed or changed. Only moved to a different article.
Article VI
VI.1) Any and all legislation passed will be placed in this Article. VI.1 cannot be repealed, but any legislation that gets passed can be repealed, through vote by active members of the Coalition.
