Personally, I believe that there are no constitutionally allowable restrictions on a citizens right to own a firearm.

I'm still waiting for my pistol permit paperwork, and I already have a rifle (AR15). Once I get a pistol, it will be used for the same activity I use the rifle for (target shooting). However, I won't begrudge someone the right to own a firearm for hunting or self defense purposes.
