First Mecian Airways is the flag carrier and the largest airline of Meciene. It is 85% owned by .MC Holdings and 15% owned by the Lyran Governmental Trade Department.

History
On 7 March 1960, debates sparked about Meciene having international relations with other countries. Some transport companies attempted to solve the matter, by using ships to ferry people from Meciene to other lands. Such mode of transport was highly popular, so much that a large amount of ships had sunk due to overloading, deliberately tarnishing Meciene's sea transport reputation.

A group of businessmen started to buy aircraft and fly them to other countries. Such activity was deemed illegal, but due to the popularity of planes, it was eventually allowed. All flying aircraft then were put under one company, named First Air Carriers of Meciene, which was later shortened to First Mecian Airways.

Crew
All FMA crew are trained for CPR and are also trained to land aircraft. They wear a modification of a traditional Mecian costume that is also designed to float in case of an emergency.

Amenities
Amenities differ from each class. All seat pockets contain an airsickness bag, the FMA shopping catalogue, a safety procedure card, headphones and the FMA magazine, The M.

-Economy
Economy class seats offer a 36 inch (91cm) seat pitch and offer a 7 inch wide monitor in front of them. The entertainment system contains selected latest movies.

Meals are offered on flights over two hours, and bottles of water is given to everyone hourly for the well being of the passenger.

Economy Class is available on all aircraft except SC670LR and StrSup

-Business
Business class seats offer a 60 inch seat pitch and a 160 degree of recline. Entertainment system features a 15 inch screen with a wide range of movies and games.

Meals are offered on all flights, bottles of water is given to everyone hourly and there is an unlimited amount of non-alcoholic drinks upon request.

Business Class is available on all aircraft.

-First
First Class seats offer a 84 inch seat pitch and a full 180 degree recline. Entertainment system features a 20 inch screen filled with the latest movies, games and noise-cancelling headphones.

Meals are offered on all flights upon request, bottles of water is given to everyone hourly and there is an unlimited amount of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks upon request. A car service provided by FMA will be available to all first class passengers.

First Class is only available on B777-300ER, B747-400, and StrSup aircraft.

FMA Rivrea Tours is a tourism programme by First Mecian Airways. Passengers who are in transit and are using First Mecian Airways will get a taste of the Mecian capital, Rivrea. This tours are utilised by buses bought from Los Rios Corporation.

MecianMiles is FMA's frequent flyer programme. People who rank highly in the MecianMiles programme get benefits like free flights, seat upgrades and free VIP service.

Two Mecian Airlines Start More Flights To ViZion

Apparently, two destinations in ViZion would help the national flag-carrier, First Mecian Airways, boost profits. CEO Elmer Punde has stated that their flights to Vitalita International Airport were always full, with many people disappointed as they could not get in to an FMA flight, thereby resorting to other airlines.

"ViZion is a popular place to visit for Mecians, so we have decided to start flights at Claudius J. Griffincrest International Airport, another key ViZion airport. The facilities of the airport are state-of-the-art and is located in a very convenient place. This also helps lighten the load at Vitalita," said CEO Punde.

The FMA competitor, MeciFly, has also started flights, but from a Leat-Singow International Airport base.

"Looking at the stats of the FMA flights, I think the high-end travellers at Claudius J. Griffincrest International Airport would really enjoy us having there. ViZion being a key destination for Mecians, we have to take advantage of the situation. So, we have started flights to Claudius J. Griffincrest International Airport," stated CEO Bob Harrison of MeciFly.

Both airlines have a purpose flying to ViZion, it is to take advantage of the lucrative market.

Two Main Airlines Have New Drink Menus

The two main international airlines of Meciene, First Mecian Airways and MeciFly, has allowed Jory Jory Bottling Company to cater drinks in all FMA and MeciFly flights. This was well recieved by all passengers, and even Peter Hillroy, President of Jory Jory Bottling company, himself.

"In these days, we have to be competitive," said CEO Bob Harrison of MeciFly. "Let's face it. We can't supply all the drinks ourselves. When we have companies like Jory Jory, we no longer worry about the passenger's preferred taste. The passengers can also trust world-renowned products."

Jory Jory is ViZion's largest bottling company, and is one of the most widely distributed use consumed bottling companies across the globe.

Please reconsider your frequency choices. Our busy fleet simply cannot fly ten times in one day to a country, even if it is short haul. Moonlight's Sunlight

aire.mec and First Mecian Airways have some of their fleet manufactured by Moonlight Aviation in Orlkjestad. Moonlight Aviation manufactures civil fixed-wing aircraft for airlines across the globe. While aire.mec has only ordered two planes for their domestic expansion, First Mecian Airways has ordered 25, to cater to high-demand short haul destinations.

"The 25 M150100MRs will be in storage first for painting and seat arrangement. The earliest we can see these take to the sky might be in three days' time," said CEO Punde of First Mecian Airways.

Meanwhile, aire.mec is already using its Moonlight aircraft in an all-economy configuration on busy routes such as Rivrea to Leat-Singow.

First Mecian Airways has unveiled today, 7 October 2009, its new logo, to indicate the airline's Star Alliance Membership. The Mecian Flaglike logo has been changed to three waves in the Mecian colours, and this is also indicated in the new logo.
