As far as crossovers between the two, almost certainly.

"30 Days of Night" is a much better vampire film. "Dog Soldiers" is a much better werewolf film.

Dog soldiers is definitely win. 30 Days of Night ... gets boring if the same TV channel plays it again and again.

"30 Days of Night" is the only real claimant to realistic historical Vampire mythology, and I give it a lot of credit for that.

It's not my favourite Vampire film (it is in the top 5 though), but it's certainly a superior product.

"Dog Soldiers", on the other hand, is just so far out of the park that it's practically in a different sport.

G, whoever made the script really murdered the book. So much so that aside from some of the characters having the same names, the story doesn't follow, at all, what is in the book.

They should've gone with The vampire Lestat first and then go into Queen. But perhaps the outcome would've been the same.
