After eons away, I have finally come back and found that not only has my Region had changed [progress is good], but so had Nations States forum. So far I like it. I have no complaints whatsoever. Nice job.

I have to admit, I do think it is going to be a great summer for me with this, once the forum login timing issues are out of the way.

Hey I'm not sure if this is the same for everyone, but the link to the old Jolt forums has disappeared from my sidebar? This wouldn't be a problem, except for some reason I can only log in to Jolt from that link.

Seriously though, you can login to Jolt by going here. I suspect that with the Jolt link removed from the page, that activity there is going to drop off though.

Agh, still can't login. For some reason when I type in my username and password, it says 'Welcome, Logging in', then when the page resurfaces, I am not logged in. Anyways, I thought about moving over here to RP, but the quality is, for lack of a better word... not good from what I've seen.

Considering that the Jolt forums are nearly dead, the RPing there is your only real choice. Besides, I've noticed some improvement in the quality as of late.

The new forum has officially passed its load test—thanks to everyone who helped put it through its paces! There are still a few tweaks to be made, but since it's in pretty good shape, we're peeling off the "BETA" tag.

The old Jolt forum isn't moving, but will be no longer linked from the sidebar. A permanent link to it can be found here.

The Jolt login problems I believe are due to Jolt shifting their domain -- they posted a sticky announcing problems affecting all their users, requiring you to visit a new URL. (I am very glad I no longer have to run around trying to figure out how to fix Jolt's self-induced forum breakages...)

WHY are the posts jumping around once you go past 20 lines or so when posting?>

IT IS VERY annoying when you are trying to type, edit, copy or paste something, and the screen jumps up 5 line above where you are attempting to type, edit, copy or paste something.

I have heard from others that it happens to them as well, so it's not just me or my computer.

I'm not sure what you're referring to here, but please post in Technical with more details (incl. which browser you use) and I'll check it out.

Went ahead and did it for him, as I'm having the same difficulties too. It's rather hard to explain in detail, the location you are typing in just shifts randomly at times.

It just dawned on me... do you have, say, a long post and then you use one of the formatting buttons in the top bunch of buttons to format something? Like bold text or an image or url? I noticed on longer posts when I do that, the post view jumps back to the top of the post; and it seems to be a common nuisance on phpBB forums.

If you're on a laptop, it's because your wrist touched the touchpad.
