Killzone. All 3 of them; KZ 1, KZ: Liberation (Was only for PSP but was still of the chain) and KZ 2. (Basicly Call of duty on steroids.)

Killzone 3 is going to be fucking amazing.

On a totally unrealated note, are you just ripping off Killzone with your FT nation? Cause Telvira was doing that with Halo and it was really irritating.

Also, I submit Half-Life for the consideration of all. Also Bioshock.
The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds.- Carl Sagan

Im using MANY Killzone qualities within my nation, yes, such as my Leaders, Military, and Flags/Icons and what have you.

However my back story, government, and many other things about my nation are completely made up from me.

So your saying my first attempt at an RP war here was a massive ridiculous laughable affair due in part that certain people who contributed to my thread were god moding "Hollywood tacticians" as you put it?

If your referring to me then I do not see where I pulled a large ridiculous stunt such as those listed on that sight. The majority of the bullshit moves came from other nations who didnt have much RPing experience.

Hollywood tactics can be applied to most RPers. Then there are those who know modern tactics. :p

Another magnificent game was Ultima Online:

Image

Sure, the graphics are and were outdated (even in those times), but the game play was excellent.

I was a player killer, killed over 1000 people and proud about it. :) They hated my player character, hehe. I used 2 characters: the player killer and an innocent one. First I killed a few dozen players then I logged out, logged in with the innocent ones and ‘helped’ the other players to hunt my player killer down by directing them to wrong places, lying that I was attacked by my player killer, that he stole everything from me. People had pity with my innocent figure and gave all kind of nice weapons, armour and stuff. So, I fucked them twice. :)

Or waiting in harbours for newbies that arrived with their new ships. Sometimes they forgot to lock their ships when they entered a town. All I had to do was jump on their boats, move a few pixel away from the shore and wait for their return. I liked their screaming to return their ship, hehe. I humiliated them, by demanding to wear pink clothes and pushing them to say all kind of ridiculous stuff to other players. It was THAT or the lost of an expensive ship. :)

And I will never forget the biggest fight I ever saw in an MMP game: hundreds of players, the guilds of Moonglow against the guilds of Britannia near a field in Trinsic.

Ah Ultima Online, such memories…

It seems it's still alive and there's even a 14-day free trial:
