That kinda reminds me of how I used to go out of my house almost every nite, and just walk around. I lived in a small town, and I'm good with directions, so I wasn't worried about somebody catching me or getting lost. Just about the only thing I was afraid of was somebody's dog barking at me. I usually went as far south as the city limits (about a 2 minute drive at 45 mph), as far east as the nearest gas station (1:30 at 35 mph), about a mile and a half north of my house, and about a 35 minute walk west.

I would've gone farther north, into the city, but I'd have been more likely to get caught (damn curfew laws).

Damn. I miss that time in my life.

As you can tell, we were a family-friendly band for all ages.

Well, once I saw two guy from my class in a car with some other people, about to go to a party. I also saw a demolished house (with some personal effects that should've been taken with the occupants strewn around). Not to mention that on a nice night, you can see a shit load of stars just by moving a mile or two south. But other than those things, and the occasional wierd item (like a landline phone ), not really.

But actually, I can't do that anymore. I live with my grandparents now (I can't sneak out, because gramps can't manage to stay asleep for a solid hour at a time), and they live in a different city, and the neighborhood has a neighborhood watch.

VDLF: I played bass and sang. It was more or less a straighforward hardcore punk band, with some surfrock guitar added in.

SDC: I sang and played violin. It was a sort of Blackened Thrash/Synth/Melocore band whose lyrics made very little sense, and were primarily drawn upon the lines of surrealist horror.

TERS: I sang and played keytar. It was more or less a hideous mutation. The actual genre was so strange that I can hardly describe it, but we were shooting for a Synth Pop/Blackened Surf/Power Metal/Psychedelic Hardcore Punk/Techno feel, with a synth mixer and lyrics that were purposely made to not make any real sense, and to be laced with obscene vulgarity with tinges of taboo subjects.
