Dear esteemed leaders of the world,

As the world at large becomes more and more connected through popular media, the internet, and other means, it is increasingly important to hold diplomatic relations with like minded nations and others as the world at large becomes more dangerous, with rapid corporations invading foreign lands for oil, trigger happy despots declaring war on entire belief systems, and the ever growing threat of nuclear war as more and more nations become able to create these despicable weapons irresponsibly.

So without further ado:

First and foremost, all ambassadors to the Kingdom shall receive diplomatic immunity in the case of minor crimes, but not serious or major crimes. If a foreign ambassador is found to have broken a law that is a borough or federal offense (serious/major, respectively), the Kingdom has the right to arrest the ambassador and indict them according to our laws. The same applies to all embassy staffers and security detail.

Staffers: A nation may not bring more than six staffers (including the ambassador).

Security: A nation may not bring more than 12 security detail.

Transportation: A nation may not bring anymore than two armored sedans, two armored small SUVs, and two armored large SUVs. American-made vehicles are not allowed inside the Kingdom.

Aircraft: A small private jet can be stored in a hanger at the Embassy Regional Airport, five miles away from Embassy Row. The aircraft cannot be used without explicit consent of the Kingdom, and it can only be flown around designated areas over the Sikhoniya River, not over any major population centers.

Weaponry: Guns are banned inside the Kingdom, and this applies to foreign security forces as well.

Misc: All items that are not a part of the embassy decor and daily operation must be declared before it is allowed inside the Kingdom.

Any nation that does not forward contact information (OOC: a link to their diplomatic mission page) will be rejected on the spot. All applicants MUST allow a Maraquean embassy in their country.

Note to embassy staffers:

Parking is only allowed in paid parking garages. Parking outside in the Embassy District is forbidden and only allowed in designated embassy parking plazas or garages, or on the street with explicit consent of the Department of External Affairs.

We do not expect any nation to change policy according to our belief system, likewise we expect others to not expect special treatment of their dignitaries that directly contradicts our own. As such, either our terms are acceptable, or they are not. It is as simple as that. We do not ever expect diplomatic immunity for our foreign dignitaries abroad, even as the practice is so commonplace, and we would feel no animosity towards the Republic of Zinaire if such a restriction were placed upon our ambassador to the Republic.

Furthermore, it is this governments opinion, and of the King himself, that any nation that has little or no confidence in our justice system shouldn't put one of their own representatives in a so called "vulnerable" position where the justice system is supposedly "incompetent." It is taken with slight offense that one of the worlds most illustrious justice systems is thought of in such a way.

It has come to our attention that the nation of Maraque is reaching out to the international community once again. We, of course, always welcome a new player on the international stage. However, it cannot be denied that the cultural differences between our nations are so vast that, in less civilized times, we would be engaged in nothing less than everlasting total war.

As such, we must inquire as to something that we unfortunately must admit should be public knowledge. What is Maraque's stance on private property and its security? Embassy construction from Derscon, when allowed to do our own thing, tends to be more palace-based outside the city, with a minor consulate inside the city. We prefer this due to our cultural disdain for close quarters, as well as the ability to construct gardens to open to the public at certain times in order to form a better and closer relationship with the people of the nation we communicate with, as well as the government itself.

Of course, most nations allow us to provide our own security for this. Since this residence would be more than merely an embassy, but privately owned land of the nobility of Derscon as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we ask if it would be possible to engage in further dialogue in order to work out the more technical specifics of a peculiar legal status.
