STATEMENT FROM THE SKULL COUNCIL>

With the introduction of the new "DEATH" fleet, we shall be consolidating our territory. All shipping must pay a toll of 20% of their cargo value or risk being impounded. Crew will be "invited" to work in our salt mines.

That is all, all resistance will be neutralised.

The Empire of Mephras condemns this action by the Mcsavaganian government, and has warned our shipping against traveling near your nation. While we considered an embargo, after a quick discussion, it was deemed unnecessary, considering trade with such taxes and risks is enough to send any and all foreign trade away from your nation, resulting in a likely economic crisis in your nation. The further lack of any goods of value produced by your nation nation was also considered. However, if ever a Mephrasian ship were to be seized, severe consequences would result. The Empire joins the stand may be the Franberrians and Juenese against this blatant act of tyranny and declares that any Layartebian flagged ship traveling previously established sea lanes that are international waters shall not be interfered with as per the Doctrine of Sovereignty. Any act to the contrary will meet a response appropriate to a declaration of war.

Our ships will continue to operate without disruption in your area. Please be aware, however, that our ships are armed. This is your warning - do not approach our ships without permission.

This is piracy! Our ships will not use Mcsavaganian ports at all, but they will not be robbed or enslaved. We will join this alliance committed to ensuring the safety of our shipping. To Franberry, Jeuna, Layarteb and Cravan- we offer the use of Eurasian warships. We suggest using a convoy system with our navies protecting the merchant fleets as they go through. We can contribute six destroyers at the present time.

Whilst unaware of where the insignificant little nation calling itself Mcsavagania and exactly what sort impact it would have on the globe spanning operations of Crookfur flagged vessels the Crookfur Foreign office released this statement.

"As of 9 am this morning the nation of Mcsavagania has been placed on the proscribed trading list and as such any Crookfur citizen or company cunducting trade of any kind with said will be liable for prosecution.

Further more any vessels carrying the flag of Mcsavagania are, for the time being, to be classed as pirate vessels and will thus be subject to boarding and seizure. Crews will be investigated and if no evidence to support prosecution is found will be detained until such time as it is deemed safe for them to be returned home."

Crookfur diplomats have also been in touch with thier counterparts in Jeuna, Layarteb and Cravan to offer Crookfur's assitance should it be required. Officially this is highly doubted as a navy that would boast of detainign 7 merchant vessels is either small and incompetant or simply is too far off the beaten path to be of much concern.

Shortly after a meeting with the Joint Chiefs of Staff (Ministers of Departments) and the leaders of the various political parties within the Shazbotdom Imperial Parliament, the Supreme Emperor made an official statement about the recent acts from the 'Skull Council' within The Armed Republic of McSavagania. In his latest televised news conference, Supreme Emperor Williams made it publicly known that the Empire will not tollerate these actions.

"With the tyrrany from this 'Skull Council' within The Armed Republic of McSavagania, we here in the Shazbotdom Empire will not tollerate such actions. The Shazbotdom Empire is hearby officially placing Economic Sanctions against The Armed Republic of McSavagania. If this 'Skull Council' makes any attempts to harm Shazbotdom Interests abroad that have anything to do with our economic security, the Shazbotdom Empire will meet said actions with our own Naval Fleet."

After his short speach he opened up the floor to any questions. One reporter asked what would happen if full war was declared against the Empire by the 'Skull Council', the Supreme Emperor politely stated, "Well, then we will do whatever is within our power to wipe this 'Council' off of the face of the planet and restore stability to the region."

Another asked the question on if war is waged, how would that effect military operations by the Empire abroad, including the occupation in Delvira and the possibility of military help to our allies in New Chalcedon. He answers by stating, "with the size of the Shazbotdom Marine Corps, I am sure that we can add one more little skirmish in and still keep the economic saftey and prosperity of Shazbotdom in check."

After answering a few more questions, he excused himself and left. Shortly after the news conference, information was obtained by this reporter that a draft of a resolution for military action against The Armed Republic of McSavagania is being drafted up in case that it is nessicary and a conflict is on the horizon between the Shazbotdom Empire and The Armed Republic of McSavagania.

SCENE: 1 Mile outside of McSavaganian 120 Mile Economic Exclusion Zone
The IMF Shaz Bot, a 900 Meter-long Merchant Vessel contracted to the Shazbotdom Imperial Navy by Shazbotdom Naval Transporation Inc. (SNT Inc.) was moving slowly through this area, ensuring using the advanced satelite imagry and Satelite Run Navication System to ensure that they did not cross into the territorial boundries of McSavagania was making it's way from the Empire to a temporary military port located along the coast of Delvira to resupply the Shazbotdom Marine Corps in that region with food, amuniton and medical supplies.

The IMF Shaz Bot had a total crew of 70 sailors with more than 200 Marines, 50 "BlackOps" Marines and 10 SCS Marines on board as protection for the precious cargo. It would take roughly 2 days to pass by the exclusion zone set up by McSavagania in this region at the ships current speed but they were in no real hurry as the supplies were surplus that needed to be shifted from the Shazbotdom Mainland and it was decided it would be put to work within Delvira. The Captain wasn't on the bridge currently as he was resting comfortably in his cabin, reading a SciFi book written by D. T. Hampstine, one of Shazbotdom's msot famous Writers.

The United Empires of Zukzes reinforces McSavagania's new navy by sending in Zukzes Imperial naval legion fleets, due to many country's "threat level" towards McSavagania but Zukzes supports the toll payments. Thus requests McSavagania if Zukzes can share the toll payments also.

Considering the McSavaganian doctrine of seizing any foreign shipping in their territory, the Dominion will assume a doctrine by which any McSavaganian ships located anywhere by any function of the Pudite Imperial Navy will be sunk on sight. Although the Emperor does not conduct trade in the vicinity of McSavaganian waters, the global nature of His Empire ensures wide swathes of sea to survey for possible McSavaganian targets. Should any Imperial ship be fired upon by any McSavaganian ship, it will most obviously be considered an act of war, and McSavagania will be suitably reprimanded.
