History
In 1989, Slovitrea's Defense Forces needed a new weapon, to replace their existing, and aging, AK-74 rifles, provided by the former Soviet Union's military. In addition, they had determined that the 5.45mm cartridge was woefully inadequate for combat, after reviewing a disastrous counterterror campaign in Somalia. So, the Defense Department initiated the SAW, or Slovitrean Assault Weapon, contest. With tensions rising against NATO and the United States, a prototype rifle, developed in joint with Heckler and Koch, came about.

In 1991, the rifle was made the official small arm of the SDF. Though the SDF never engaged in combat during the service period of the AP-1, reports from Red Flag exercises and infantry battalions were stellar, lauding the rifle's power and reliability. However, reports of magazine problems, a heavy weight, and low accuracy ratings led to research on a replacement for the rifle in 2005.

Design
The AP-1, standing for Avtomat Pusanka, for the inventor of the action, which involved a massive main bolt being propelled back into a secondary bolt, which decreased recoil, but removed the possibility of having a folding stock. The massive bolt, and bolt carrier virtually removed all jamming problems, but increased the weight to over 8 pounds, near that of the AK it was replacing. However, for the time being, the rifle was accurate, powerful, and reliable, which was exactly what the SDF needed.

The rifle consists of a single-piece stamped alloy receiver, with a trigger group adapted from the H&K G3 and MP5, and a magwell based off of the G36 rifle used by the German military. The most prominent feature is the massive bolt, which covers the majority of the receiver. The rifle also features an adjustable buttstock, and a carbon fiber reinforced handguard. The barrel is cold-forged, 14.5 inches long, and rifled with a 1:7 inch twist.

Now, nearly thirty years after its introduction, the rifle is beginning to show its age, and has been phased out by the newer AP-2 rifle, which uses a simpler and lighter action, as well as the futuristic AEK-9. However, for any military, the AP-1 is easily modifiable, powerful, and will never, ever, jam. Under any circumstances.

History
In 2005, the SDF elected to develop a lighter, more accurate, and less expensive rifle to be used alongside, and to eventually replace the powerful and reliable, but heavy and expensive AP-1 rifle. This time, the project was entirely spearheaded within Slovitrea, with no outside assistance and input. Out of this project, the AP-2 was born. Currently, the AP-2 is used by all branches of the SDF, with various barrel lengths.

In 2009, the AP-2E2 was introduced, featuring a standard RIS system, lighter stock and handguard, and a more reliable magazine.

Design
Chambered in the same 6.10mm cartridge as the AP-1, the AP-2 looks somewhat similar, but is in fact much different. The bolt system is completely redesigned, to a lighter, cheaper, and smaller short-stroke piston, allowing a lightweight folding stock to be installed. In addition, a full-length 1:9 inch rifled barrel was installed standard, to provide more accurate, and longer ranged shooting. There are three barrel lengths for the rifle, the 17" "Rifle", 14.5" "Carbine", and 10" "Commando" barrels. Due to feeding problems with the adapted magazine from H&K in the AP-1, Slovitrean Arms decided to use a different design, one intended for the 6.10mm bullet from the outset. The new magazine is ribbed, allowing it to be made of lighter and thinner plastic, and has an ammunition indicator.

The inner workings of the rifle were completely redesigned. While the interior of the AP-1 would resemble an AK type weapon, the inside of the AP-2 would resemble a weapon more like the XM8 or G36, with a smaller gas tube, and triangular, titanium bolt. The bolt was specifically designed to be lightweight and small, while still providing reliability and smooth feeding. In addition, the rifle now features a last round bolt-hold open device to allow faster reloads. While recoil might be slightly increased, the lighter bolt and inner workings make the rifle easier to produce, and easier to use.

The handguard, inspired by the handguards on the AR-18 rifles, is made of high-impact polymer, rather than carbon fiber- reducing cost, while maintaining light weight. The stock is a folding type, with a hollow interior that contains a cleaning kit, and one extra magazine for emergencies. The sights are standard iron sights, similar to those of most rifles, but they are of a lower profile to allow easier attachment of optics. The only rails standard on the AP-2 are on the side of the handguard, to attach laser designators, or flashlights. However, there are slots at the bottom of the handguard to attach a GGL4 grenade launcher, or a rail system. In addition, most RIS upgrades for the AK or Galil series will attach to the receiver for optics.

Design
The AME-2, standing for Avtomat Makarovich Export, is an inexpensive yet effective assault rifle designed chiefly as an export weapon. The AME was designed from the ground up to be cheap and multifunctional, using aluminum magazines, and the lightweight AP-2 bolt system. The rifle can be fed from three different types of ammunition, 5.56mm NATO and 6.10mm SMV in an aluminum magazine (pictured), or 5.45mm Russian, from standard AK type magazines. The only change required is to the barrel, which is rifled with a 1:9 inch twist for all three rounds, and is 14.5 inches long, and cannot accept PIE ammunition. The weapon uses an AK type action in a stamped receiver to cut costs, unfortunately at the cost of some accuracy and durability.

However, the AME-2 is one of the few rifles under $1000 that are anywhere as reliable and efficient as the standard front line weaponry of any military. For any beginning nation, guerrilla combat, or as a front-line weapon, the AME-2 is an inexpensive, powerful, and smart choice.

Design
The ANE-94 began simply as a domestically-made copy of the An-94 Akaban rifle. However, it evolved to address the problems with the original. The ANE-94 rifle has returned to its basic roots, as an AK type rifle. The terrible ergonomics of the canted magazine and folding stock were changed, and the unreliable, complicated gas system was replaced with a simple short-stroke piston bolt.

The stock now folds to the left side, allowing better grip, and the canted magazine now sits vertically, allowing for smoother feeding. The complicated "pulse delayed blowback" system was thrown out, and replaced with a triangular titanium bolt, cutting weight by over half of a pound, and cutting price as well. The new rifle is lighter, less expensive, and more reliable than its base, but it keeps the futuristic blend of polymers and the iconic AK design.

Design
The AME-3 is the successor to the earlier and cheaper AME-2 rifle, but with the same goal- an inexpensive, powerful, assault rifle. The AME-3 uses the AK action, in a bullpup form. The weapon features the same barrel as the AME-2, and can accept AME-2 5.45 and 6.10mm magazines. The AME-3A is the 5.45mm variant, with no magwell to accept AK-74 type magazines. The AME-3B is the 6.10mm variant, and is fed from a modified AP-2 lower receiver and 30 round polymer magazines.

History
The RPA-3 was developed alongside its sister rifle, the AP-2, as a light machine gun with similar handling characteristics to the rifle. It entered service with the SDF merely a year after the rifle, in 2006, replacing aging RPK-74M and RPDM machine guns then in use.

Design

The RPA-3 is cosmetically similar to the AP-2, featuring the same stock, grip, handguard, and lower receiver as the rifle, but the barrel is much different, as well as the action. The barrel retains the same length and rifling, but it is thicker, and has cooling ducts built in to prevent overheating. The handguard is easily split open to change barrels, as will all rifles and machine guns in Slovitrea's arsenal.

The action is an open-bolt variation of the action of the AP-2, to allow cooling of the chamber, and the RPA will accept both 30 round AP-2 magazines, or its own proprietary drum magazine, with a capacity of 100 rounds of 6.10mm ammunition. As with all frontline weRapons, the RPA-3 accepts PIE (Pyrotechnically Initiated Explosive) ammunition, as well as standard jacketed and SLAP rounds. The handguard features an integrated bipod, as well as mounts for the GGL4 grenade launcher, and unusual feature for LMGs. The reason for this is that any RPA-3 may have to be used as an interim assault rifle, or to add more firepower for combat missions.

History
The RPA-7 was designed as a general purpose machine gun with a higher-caliber bullet than most GPMGs, yet a smaller caliber bullet than HMGs. The first prototype was constructed in 2011 as a machine gun for the Coltarinian military, but political problems and issues with the new ammunition delayed full production and SDF deployment until 2013. Currently, the RPA-7 is used by all branches of the SDF as a mounted and infantry machine gun, as well as in those same capacities in the nation of Coltarin.

Design
A 9.62x80mm General Purpose Machine Gun, the RPA-5 is the main machine gun of the SDF. Used on our own tanks and APCs, the RPA is an effective weapon that can be used as an emplacement, coaxial weapon on an armored vehicle, or as a standalone machine gun system. Shown here is the RPA-5E with a bipod mount, and our patented QZ-55 scope, which has several modes of zoom, a ballistics computer for accurate long-range shots, and night vision capabilities. Every RPA shipped will come with a QZ-55 scope FREE OF EXTRA CHARGE. In addition, in a trial of the MG4, M240, PKM, and RPA-5 light machine guns, firing 10,000 rounds, the RPA suffered only 403 jams, compared to 670 in the PKM, 1250 in the M240, and 1339 in the MG4. Using composite materials, the RPA's weight is greatly under the standard for GPMGs, weighing in at 19.56 pounds fully loaded.

The forward handguard allows the barrel to be air-cooled, yet it is composed of carbon fiber, reinforced with titanium ribbing. This allows the machine gun to be under 20 pounds, yet not lack any major features. To facilitate use by left-handed soldiers, the belt can be inserted from both sides, with only a change in the bolt (image is in left-handed configuration), and casings are ejected forwards as well as away from the shooter, to avoid brass hitting the face of the shooter. The stock is also composed of carbon-fiber, and is reinforced by titanium bracings as well. The barrel is cold-forged, and has two options- Short (pictured), for infantry use, and Long, for mounting. The barrels can be changed simply by popping open the handguard, and unscrewing the barrel.

The ammunition can have several versions, standard jacketed 9.62x80mm, armor piercing depleted uranium, ball tracer, and our own developed PIE ammunition. PIE stands for Pyrotechnically Initiated Explosive, essentially meaning you have explosive bullets. PIE rounds have similar ballistics to standard 9.62mm ammunition, but once it hits a target, the impact detonates the explosive, which can defeat body armor, and even wound with an indirect impact near the target. PIE rounds can be used as anti-infantry, anti-aircraft, or even against jeeps and light transports.

History
As of 2013, the Slovitrean Defense Forces needed a new rifle to replace their aging, and inaccurate, SVDM sniper rifles. After watching the success of weapons like the CheyTac M200, using a larger round than 7.62, yet not using the massive .50 BMG rounds, Slovitrean Arms decided to create a weapon in a similar pattern. While the M200 looks like a weapon from a science fiction movie, the SVP-4 has a more conventional layout, with a five-round removable magazine of 9.62mm high velocity ammunition, the same as the RPA-7 machine gun, and standard synthetic furniture. However, a different stock layout was envisioned, to reduce recoil from the heavier load of the sniper rounds.

Design
The SVP-4 is a bolt-action sniper rifle that fires a special heavy grain sniper variant of the 9.62x80mm round, with an effective range of about 2,700 yards in ideal conditions. The bolt is similar to those used in the Remington 700 short action, except it is upsized to fire the 9.62mm (.37 caliber) round. The action is fed by a removable five-round box magazine, or by stripper clips in an emergency.

The barrel is rifled with a 1:13 inch twist, and is free floating, inside a polymer handguard. The stock is also made of polymer, and features an in-line construction similar to the M16 series of rifles, to allow recoil reduction for the more powerful round. The receiver is milled and made of aluminum, with a steel bolt and firing mechanism for durability. A RIS system is attached to the bottom and top of the handguard, to allow scopes, bipods, and even rail-mounted grenade launchers (just in case) to be attached.

History
While it shares the same name, and a similar construction to the AP-1 rifle, the AP-1K was designed later, under a separate program. This program aimed to create a subcompact rifle that would bridge the gap between the current AP-1 rifle, and submachine guns. Thus, a new weapon, using the same chassis as the AP-1 to cut costs, was born. The AP-1K is currently in use by Naval Security, Military Police, and Special Forces units throughout the SDF.

Design
Unlike its "big brother," the AP-1K uses a short-stroke piston system, reducing weight greatly. In addition, the weapon lacks a standard stock, however M-4 and AK type stocks may be fitted with modification kits (provided). The rifle features a 25 round magazine, carrying 9x39 heavy subsonic bullets originally designed for the AS Val and VSS Vintorez silenced rifles. A boosted powder charge, and a slightly lighter bullet remedied the low velocity and high bullet drop, surprisingly well for such a short-barreled weapon.

The rifle features the standard carbon fiber AP-1 handguard, as well as the same lower and upper receivers. The bolt system was simply changed to a short-stroke piston, and the buffering was removed. A RIS system covers the upper receiver of the carbine, standard.

History
Inspired by submachine guns like the MAC-10, IWI Uzi, and the Steyr TMP, Slovitrean Arms designed a bullpup (magazine in grip) configured submachine gun for use by the SDF, and various national police forces. In 2011, the first PPK-1s reached frontline service, to stellar reviews. The submachine gun was so light that it could be carried as a sidearm, or even dual wielded in emergencies. The current version of the PPK-1 is in service as a weapon in the SDF Special Forces, tank crews, and Military Police.

Design
The PPK uses an open bolt, blowback-operated design. The open bolt design exposes the breech end of the barrel, and improves cooling during periods of continuous fire; however, it means that since the bolt is held to the rear when cocked, the receiver is more susceptible to contamination from sand and dirt ingress. It and the Uzi were the first weapons to popularly use a telescoping bolt design, in which the bolt wraps around the breech end of the barrel. This allows the barrel to be moved far back into the receiver and the magazine to be housed in the pistol grip, allowing for a heavier, slower-firing bolt in a shorter, better-balanced weapon.

The weapon is constructed primarily from composites, making it incredibly light, and durable. With relatively few moving parts, the PPK-1 is easy to strip for maintenance or repair. The magazine is housed within the pistol grip, allowing for intuitive and easy reloading in dark or difficult conditions, under the principle of 'hand finds hand'. The pistol grip is fitted with a grip safety, making it difficult to fire accidentally. However, the protruding vertical magazine makes the gun awkward to fire when prone.

When the gun is de-cocked, the ejector port closes, preventing entry of dust and dirt. Though the PPK's composite receiver is equipped with pressed reinforcement slots to accept accumulated dirt and sand, the weapon can still jam with heavy accumulations of sand in desert combat conditions when not cleaned regularly.

The PPK-1 is an excellent choice as a SMG for any military force, as a police weapon, or as a front line firearm.

Developed from research on optimal rifle cartridges, to replace the weak 5.45mm rounds in Slovitrea's current AK-74M rifles, the 6.10mm SMV was developed in 1989 as a thicker, shorter version of the 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge, acting as a middle ground between the lower velocity of the larger 7.62x39mm cartridges popular in the AK series rifles, and the high-velocity, but small, NATO rounds. The 9.62mm High Velocity round was developed as a two-part venture- to create a 9mm sniper round with high velocity, and to adapt said round to a more manageable velocity for machine gun use. In addition, snipers had requested a medium between the 7.62x54mm rounds they currently used, and 12.7x99mm heavy sniper rounds, which were usually overkill, and had tremendous recoil. Thus, following in the tracks of the .408 CheyTac round, the 9.62mm HV round was born.

The 9x39mm ammunition was created to bridge the gap between short-ranged pistol rounds, and the longer ranged SMV rounds. Basically, the 9mm SSA is a necked-up 6.10mm round with 2mm shaved off the back end. This round has decent range for a short-barreled weapon like the AP-1K, but it has a faster muzzle velocity, and is more powerful than standard pistol cartridges.

The GGL4 is essentially a modification of the M203 grenade launcher to meet the SDF's exacting specifications. It features a double-action, so if the round does not fire, you do not have to reload the launcher. It also features rifling inside the barrel. Like throwing a football in a spiral, the rifling within the GGL4 provides increased range and accuracy, allowing the user to suppress targets at a longer range.

The GGL4 is compatible with the M16A2 and AP-2 handguards, and the version with rail mounts (not pictured) can be attached to any rifle with a RIS kit.

History
The AS-43 is one of the classic weapons of the Second World War. In the early years of the war, Slovitrea used old Mosin-Nagant bolt action rifles, and M1903 Springfields, and were being outclassed by Japanese Type 10s and German G41 and G43 rifles. A Slovitrean special forces team smuggled a German defector and arms designer out of the heart of Germany, with plans for a German automatic rifle, which would become the STG-44. Slovitrean designers modified the American M1 Garand action to fire automatically, and fit it for the larger 7.62x54mm Soviet cartridge, producing one of the world's first "assault" (it uses a battle rifle cartridge) rifles.

Design
The rifle features a M1 Garand type short-stroke piston design, with the feed modified to come from removable steel 30 round "banana magazines." In addition, the action was modified to fire fully automatic, providing a machine gun in the hands of a single infantryman. The stock was walnut, in high quality models, but most were made of any wood they could find. The stock featured a pistol grip integrated into the stock itself, allowing better standing accuracy, but not compromising structural strength.

The barrel was 20 inches long, and rifling varied between factories. In addition, an underbarrel launcher fired newly designed 30mm explosive grenades, which were fired from a small magazine of .45 blanks in the grip of the launcher. This was the first design of a grenade launcher that fired its rounds independently of the main rifle, and allowed the common infantryman to lay down much more suppressive fire.

While today, this rifle may be considered old and heavy, in the 1940s it was top of the line, and could best any other weapon in its class (PT primary weapon, or MT/PMT ceremonial weapon).

Because these weapons are either restored, or built to high-quality using period accurate equipment, this rifle is a little more expensive than regular weapons. There are two options- non firing ceremonial, or firing combat. The ceremonial rifle features chromed metal parts, no grenade launcher, and a polished walnut stock, as well as a shorter mock magazine for easier marching and ceremonial use.

History
The standard pistol of the SDF, the TP9/TP45 was developed from years of research and experience, working with Sig Sauer, FN Herstal, and Heckler and Koch to develop a lightweight, modular pistol in both .45 ACP and 9mm Parabellum. Eventually, a modified design based on the Sig Sauer P226 was chosen, and production began in 2015.

Details
The TP9/TP45 has identical inner workings to the SIG P226 handgun, and a similar polymer frame, but the slide is based off a lightened alloy version of that on the Colt Commander pistol, to allow easier use of .45 rounds. The pistol features a grip mounted safety like all modern handguns, and it features a threaded barrel to accept silencers.
