The Republic of Medyum launches its first Nuclear Weapons

Today the proud Republic of Medyum initiated its first test of a nuclear weapon. A single 5kt nuclear warhead, attached to a short-range ballistic missle, was detonated in the middle of an isolated island in the Pacific belonging to Medyum. The missle penetrated the ground a small depth in order to reduce nuclear fallout.



The test was meant to determine rather or not our nuclear weapons are capable of being used in the future should need be and we are glad to announce that the test was successful! Also new was the ballistic missle used to deliver the warhead. The missle, a Jericho I, has an estimated range of roughly 500 kilometers. We are capable of launching all of our nation's twenty-five nuclear weapons using this missle system.

Medyum seeks only to use these weapons as a deterrent and has no desire to use them in a threatening capacity. Their use is reserved only for the survival of our nation.

Any questions or comments regarding the nuclear test should be directed to officials at the Republic of Medyum, who will gladly reply.

Medyum hopes that all other nations realize that this is not a threat to their security.

OOC: Did You get your nuclear weapons off of another nation then tested them yourself? A nation isn't considered nuclear capable until it has over 20 million population if that nation is using it's own resources.
