Can you have everything?

Postby Eirikur » Wed May 04, 2011 10:03 pm

My nation boasts superb civil rights and political freedoms. However, my economy is imploded. I'm wondering if there is anyone who has succeeded in having high ratings in all three categories, or is it possible to only have one or two at a time be rated highly while another falls by the wayside?

It is possible to have a fairly high score in each category - the Civil Rights Lovefest is a popular category for that.

This is only the case if you're a compulsive, competitive metagamer, though.

It's possible to have three high rankings from the start. Here's a nation I just created: Spunkystan

Here's an example of a nation with the highest rankings: Equinox Parallax

I tend to aim for;

World Benchmark
Frightening
World Benchmark

The problem is I have far too many goals to have a stable category. I shift back and forth between three categories lately with my main nation.

I was an anarchy recently, which is the best of all categories. Capitalizt is also very high in all categories.

Capitalizt

Postby Umbra Ac Silentium » Thu May 05, 2011 7:37 am

It's quite possible, indeed.
My own stats are:
Civil Rights: World Benchmark (84/100)
Economy: All-Consuming (96/100)
Political Freedoms: Widely Abused (94/100)

I've seen places that are above 90 in every area, too. :]

Mainly the first two. My puppet Sheepatropolis is the third.

Yeah I think that's the best. Anything above it you get widely abused or corrupted or something like that. World Benchmark sounds the coolest, although its not at "100"

True, but the economy rating shown is strength, and is the easiest to max out. Keeping it at max and raising the others beyond 'Superb' I find tricky though. On my older nations anyway.

I am happy with superb, very strong and good.
And my trophies ;) Especially one for most endorsements - considering I am not a UN member :P

Economy isn't directly realated to your nation type. It is easily possible to have an anarchist or lovefest society with weaker economies than other governments. Although they do tend to have stronger economies because of the freedom levels, but that's just a tendency. Besides, political freedom is overrated.

Well, Economic Freedom is related, but that's a hidden value.

But yeah, it is possible to have any economy rating, Imploded(0) through Frightening(100), for every nation category.

I am working on archieving that goal - World Benchmark in Civil and Political rights, and Frigthening in Economy.

I have the Frigthening, but the other two are still in work.

Sounds like we have the same goal there.
