Ambassador's Family: Ihule Copacunaric (wife), Asanu Copacunaric (16-year-old son), Aheri Oatuwan (15-year-old daughter)
Ambassador Bio: Lotac Oatuwan was in the Inutoland Naval Forces for 8 years before joining the Diplomatic Corps. Serving for most of that time as an intelligence officer to Rayu (Admiral) Iruwaya of the 3rd Fleet, he attained the rank of Antupan (Lieutenant). After he was honourably discharged from the INF, he leveraged his intelligence experience into a post in the Inutolander embassy in Ramsetia, where he served as a junior officer. He has had various experience in several Inutolander embassies, including a posting as Vice-Consul in Imeriata. Racial Equality: We have three separate species of Human living together without more than insults. Racism is bone-deep stupid.
Communism: A nice idea that stinks when applied to real humans.
Capitalism: Better than the alternative, though there must be systems in place to protect the people from the exploitation and predatory behaviour of unregulated business interests.
Fascism: Dumb.
Socialism: Useful when not taken to extremes.
Private Property: Ownership of property is one of the cornerstones of law.
Public Property: It makes sense that things like parks, post offices and government buildings be owned by the state.
Alcohol Consumption: Legal here. May purchase alcohol for personal consumption at age 17, may drink in public from age 14, may buy alcohol for a 14-17-year-old from age 28.
Recreational Drug Consumption: "Soft" (by which we generally mean unrefined) drugs like cannabis, coca leaves and raw opium, are legal to adults over 21 (17 in the case of cannabis), taxed and commercially available.
Cloning: Animal cloning is fine. We're more than a bit hesitant about human cloning. There are far too many unresolved ethical issues.
Obesity: If you can manage to get obese in a climate where 40 Celsius and 100% humidity is normal and A/C is rare, more power to ya.

Carrying Concealed Weapons: Illegal. If you have (and are proficient in the use of) a weapon, you should do the honourable thing and carry it openly. Concealed carry is underhanded and sneaky.
Hunting: We have no problem with this, provided you aren't hunting endangered species.
Homosexuality: You can if you want to. It used to be against the law until fairly recently, but the prohibition hasn't been enforced in almost 2 generations.
Use of Mines in Warfare: There are legitimate uses and immoral uses. Defensive use of mines to protect vital military installations, for example, is understandable and legitimate. Seeding an enemy's countryside with air-dropped mines as a harrassment measure is almost certainly immoral.
Nuclear Arms: Sadly, it seems we can't come up with anything better than "If you glass our cities, we will glass yours." Honestly. Barbarians have better sense than that. We're not opposed to them, but we think there are very few times when the consequences of not using them outweigh the consequences of using them.
Ecology: Ecology is a legitimate scientific discipline - the study of how creatures and their enviromnent interact.
Laboratory Testing on Animals: Better than testing completely new products on humans straight away. We think there's probably a line between legitimate testing and institutionalised cruelty, but if killing a rabbit can save a human, do it.

Sexual Equality: Affirmative action programs are in place to ensure sexual equality. The philosophy of the Action and Civic Parties is that sex and gender are social constructs which have real consequences which can be negated by social legislation.
Racial Equality: Programs and philosophies are similar to the above, but with three out of five major parties agreeing that race is a social construct with real consequences.
Communism: Members of the Action Party support communism. However, anti-democratic communism is generally opposed.
Capitalism: Members of the Reform and United Parties support free-market capitalism. Members of the Action and Civic Parties oppose it, where members of the People's and Civic Parties believe that a balanced system is better.

Sexual Equality: Affirmative action programs are in place to ensure sexual equality. The philosophy of the Action and Civic Parties is that sex and gender are social constructs which have real consequences which can be negated by social legislation.
Racial Equality: Programs and philosophies are similar to the above, but with three out of five major parties agreeing that race is a social construct with real consequences.
Communism: Members of the Action Party support communism. However, anti-democratic communism is generally opposed.
Capitalism: Members of the Reform and United Parties support free-market capitalism. Members of the Action and Civic Parties oppose it, where members of the People's and Civic Parties believe that a balanced system is better.
Fascism: Fascism is legal, but like all anti-democratic movements, it receives little support.
Socialism: Is supported and opposed in stances similar to capitalism, but vice versa.
Private Property: The right to private property is strong, but the misuse of private property is banned. Post-dictatorship land redistribution policies both enshrined and violated the right to private property.
