Postby The AvengedSeven » Mon Apr 18, 2011 12:16 pm

It depends.
1. What type of tank do you have?
2. What is it's volume and size?
3. What type of filters?
4. What fish do you have in the tank in which you want a jellyfish?
5. DO MORE RESEARCH BEFORE CONSIDERING TAKING CARE OF ONE!(This applies to all aquatic pets)

Hence number 5 on my list. But, of course, he should also do more research depending on the individual species.

I'll go one step further; if it won't chase a laser pointer, then it's not a pet.

I want a pet beaver.

Why?

Because I hate trees ;)

Anyway, do some research and ask at your local pet shop (especially if it's specialized in aquatic stuff).

Not necessarily.
A gar is a more unwise choice. More so than a bonnethead shark(Although you'll need at least a 1000 gallons for each)

Maybe a Comb Jelly of some sort, or a Cannonball Jelly. Comb Jellies are splendid during the night, and neither of those species get to be too big and neither of them sting, and there is a huge selection of Comb Jellies.
I'll respond to a lot of titles, but I preferred to go by Forest.

Unless stated otherwise, I have disowned all of the posts, both in and out of character, that I made years ago. I would like to think that both my real, out-of-character behavior and my in-character role-playing skills have matured.

I read a book where the evil dude had a pet man of war and at the end the spy dude is stuck in it.

Get a Portuguese Man-of-War and keep it in a giant tank to throw people you don't like into.

Moon jellies are fragile, but supposedly small, easy to keep, cheap, and spectacular.

Hence the inspiration for my previous suggestion. Also, don't read the last book, "Scorpia Rising". It's sad.

Get a Portuguese Man-of-War and keep it in a giant tank to throw people you don't like into.

Portuguese Man-of-Wars are far too brittle to transport anywhere. Gravity above water crushes them.
