A Glitch in the Matrix

Ok, so I think I just about found the most annoying glitch a raider can ever come across. About 20 minutes ago my puppet, Ortsac II became delegate of Africa...except it didn't. The WA says it did, as seen here:



But the region of Africa say "Not so fast". At current, I am not shown as the new delegate, even though I have the most endorsements in the region and I know for a fact we updated in Africa, so the problem continues. I've never had this issue before, I've never seen this happen to anyone, and I'm wondering what in the hell is going on.

I have seen such a glitch before in the past, but never said anything. It is quite annoying. Perhaps, since other issues are being fixed, this issue should be fixed as well?

My idea, which could be completely wrong, is that you're not fully delegate until the final update is done. (or not as Pyth has fixed it )

Hmm? You've seen this before Todd? Was it in Africa?

I did notice when the last delegate CTEd last night it didn't show up on the regional happenings. Also, there were about 4 people that *should* have replaced him as delegate but for some strange reason just didn't.

Also, a message to all those Defenders flooding into Africa about now...yeah, that glitch works both ways.

Edit: Nevermind! Pyth fixed it! What was the problem anyway?

This has been happening for a few days - I think Ananke reported it via a getting help request a while back. Good to know its fixed when the raider delegate complains though. (Not an accusation of bias, just noting its a pity the getting help request wasn't addressed first)

[violet] and I don't read getting help requests unless a moderator tells us to. We both read the Technical forum. This is where bug reports should go, unless some amount of privacy is required. Then, you can either go to #themodcave on irc.gamesurge.net or submit a GHR, which a moderator should bump up to us eventually.

This still seems to be a bit off, it updated about 3-4 minutes earlier this morning than last night.

Trying to fine tune and dial in, eh?

Well I will admit that I have also seen a slight discrepancy between the two updates, but I've only observed it to be 1-2 minutes and never as much as 4.

We make no guarantees on when any region will update. Therefore, nothing is off. Besides, the two updates do different things. You would expect them to take a different amount of time.
