Commend Crazy Girl

A resolution to recognize outstanding contribution by a nation or region.

Description: The World Assembly,

Aware that Crazy Girl was founded in early 2003 in The Pacific; becoming involved in the region's governance, and later fighting (ultimately in vain) to free the region when it was subjected to the infamously tyrannical rule of Francos Spain,

Observing that Crazy Girl was involved in the Alliance Defense Network (ADN), the leading defender military organisation of its day; serving as Secretary of Defence, and through this role helping to protect the sovereignty of numerous regions by defending them against invasion,

Noting that Crazy Girl was a driving force behind the reorganisation of the ADN, which saw it re-branded as the 'ADN Reloaded', with new forums and a new Charter, resulting in a reduction of bureaucracy, allowing the organisation to concentrate on its primary goal of defending regions,

Perceiving that Crazy Girl was one of the three organisers of the 'puppetmaster' liberation of The North Pacific in July 2004, which was the largest successful liberation in NationStates history, freeing the region from the occupation of the New Pacific Order, and seeing it returned to the rightful control of its natives,

Recalling Crazy Girl's contributions to The Rejected Realms, which include:
• Constructing and maintaining their current forums, to aid communication between members, and organisation of the regional government,
• Defending with, and leading, the Rejected Realms Army -- a military that helps to defend vulnerable regions from the threat of invasion,
• Maintaining the security of the region by successfully keeping Kandarin -- the recipient of a WA Commendation (SCR #2), in the position of delegate - despite the delegate being unable to eject or ban nations from the region,

Recognising that following control of Kandarin being ceded to Naivetry, Crazy Girl played a critical role in the transition, ensuring stability, and protecting the interests of residents of the region by facilitating the holding of an election to allow them to decide on the regional delegate,

Believing that Crazy Girl has had a major impact on the improvement of NationStates, by giving insightful feedback on suggested changes to the structure of the global environment, and by providing helpful advice to fledgling nations seeking to involve themselves within international affairs,

Acknowledging Crazy Girl's more irreverent contributions to NationStates, including petitioning the World Assembly to change its misogynistic categorisation of nations as 'Father Knows Best States' by allowing Matriarchies and Queendoms to be recognised as 'Mother Knows Best States',

Concluding that through these diverse and multitudinous contributions, Crazy Girl has made the world a more peaceful and enjoyable place, and that these actions are more than worthy of recognition through a World Assembly Commendation,

Hereby Commends Crazy Girl.

Commend Northern Chittowa

Aware that Northern Chittowa has been a key member of the Global Right Alliance, responsibly administrating their forums, and helping to keep the region stable, secure and active, despite the combative nature of its residents,

Recognising Northern Chittowa as an important participant in the Founderless Regions Alliance (FRA), an organisation dedicated to the protection and stabilisation of founderless regions across NationStates, through such actions as:
• Founding the alliance alongside Big Killer Babys and The Merlion,
• Serving as Arch Chancellor of the alliance for 3 terms, comprising a total of 9 months, in the process professionalising the organisation, as well as rescuing it from the brink of death after the failure of Falconias's term as Arch Chancellor,
• Participating in the FRA Rangers, the alliance's military, for over 4 years,

Believing that Northern Chittowa has made a significant contribution to protecting the sovereignty of founderless regions through the aforementioned actions,

Observing that Northern Chittowa established the 'Defender Awards' in 2006, an annual awards system that has now been successfully running for 5 years, and has helped to unite the defender community,

Recalling that Northern Chittowa was a leading member of Lazarus for a number of years, holding a number of governmental positions, and serving as delegate for five months until June 2008,

Applauding the nominee's actions in magnanimously putting the interests of the region above prestige, by stepping down as delegate upon realising that their presence as delegate was leading to the region being targeted by invaders,

Noting that Northern Chittowa's honourable and diplomatic behaviour is acknowledged even by invaders,

Asserting that those nations that contribute to NationStates as significantly as Northern Chittowa has, whilst maintaining the respect of their peers, should be Commended,

Hereby Commends Northern Chittowa.

Commend Fudgetopia

Acknowledging Fudgetopia as the longest serving delegate of The South Pacific, whose reign began on July 5, 2006 and ended on January 1, 2010, totaling 1276 days or three and one-half years,

Remembering throughout NationStates history the Pacific regions have been unstable and difficult to maintain,

Recognizing that Fudgetopia, in compliance with the laws of The South Pacific, allowed challenges to the delegate's position and criticisms of the delegate's leadership at any time,

Amazed that Fudgetopia maintained control of a Pacific for three and a half years, without restricting freedom,

Impressed at this unmatched accomplishment, and also that as a result, Fudgetopia has long been the most influential nation in the world,

Noting that Fudgetopia was founded on September 4, 2003 in The South Pacific,

Realizing since that date, Fudgetopia has been one of the most important figures in The South Pacific and was a founding member of The South Pacific's military, served in various cabinet positions throughout the years, and became a forum administrator of The South Pacific Forum,

Understanding that Fudgetopia has been a positive force of leadership within The South Pacific for over seven years,

Believing that any nation having had such success as the fair and diligent leader of a Pacific is deserving of recognition,

Hereby commends Fudgetopia.

Condemn The Black Hawks

NOTING that The Black Hawks are an aggressive raiding organization.

ACKNOWLEDGING that raiding is legal, yet controversial, under-regulated, and frequently unsportsmanlike.

CONCERNED that The Black Hawks have openly targeted and raided hundreds of regions and used regional bans to permanently exert their control.

RECOGNIZING that The Black Hawks have admitted to conspiring to pass a Security Council resolution to commend their own nation by drafting the text.

CONCERNED that a vote in favor of this resolution will make World Assembly delegates and their regions targets of The Black Hawks, as has been reported following previous proposal attempts.

NOTING that such targeting is proven to have a cooling effect on free speech and the democratic process.

FURTHER NOTING that free speech and the democratic process are the sole methods of presenting or supporting a Security Council resolution.

CONCERNED that a cooling of expression and democracy paralyze the Security Council and prevent it from fulfilling its mandate.

HEREBY CONDEMNS The Black Hawks for endangering the functioning and survival of the Security Council.

Acknowledging Commerce Heights is most widely known as the creator of NSEconomy, which calculates Gross Domestic Product, currency value and unemployment levels among many other statistics. NSEconomy has been found to be an invaluable asset for many across NationStates,

Recalling the Olympic Games -- after the dissolution of its earlier council -- was formally recreated after the adoption of an Olympic Charter on January 9, 2010. The Charter was extensively written by Commerce Heights, and establishes a more efficient governing body and a set of formalized rules for the Olympic Winter Games (Winter Olympics) and Games of the Olympiad (Summer Olympics),

Understanding that the Olympic Games are considered one of the most challenging international games to host because of the wide variety of contested sports and disciplines, and yet the nominee has hosted the first and second winter Olympic Games, in addition to the second, third and fourth summer Olympic Games,

Further Understanding that Commerce Heights presided over the Olympic Council during the V Olympiad and has remained active in the management of the Olympic Games as a member of the Games' Executive Committee,

Bearing in Mind to honor Commerce Heights contributions to the Olympic Games, the Olympic Council's headquarters are located in Aeropag, Paripana,

Having Observed Commerce Heights' creation and maintenance of xkoranate, a revolutionary and multidisciplinary software to organize matches for over four hundred different events in fifty-four disciplines. xkoranate has been used during every Olympic Games since its creation, and has greatly aided hosting nations,

Applauding Commerce Heights’ great contributions to International Football:
• Commerce Heights had the initiative to rewrite the totality of legislation governing the World Cup Committee (WCC) with ‘Proposal 1093’ which was later rewritten into a constitution by Starblaydia,
• The nominee -- at the time of writing -- has hosted five World Cups which is an accomplishment only challenged by a select few,
• Commerce Heights founded the Union of International Club Associations which governs four major world football club competitions, and has also maintained the International Domestic Soccer NewsWires which serves to internationally disseminate domestic soccer news,

Celebrating the success of Yuba United FC from Commerce Heights which has won ten international football club competitions -- an unchallenged record. Meanwhile its record of four world championships is only matched by the dissolved Albrecht Football Club from Candelaria And Marquez,

Condemn Sedgistan

Noting that Sedgistan is a powerful nation in the World,

Dismayed by how Sedgistan abuses this power to nag other nations into dealing with its dirty work, infringing on their sovereignty by telling them what to do,

Horrified by how Sedgistan has changed the interior of the Rejected Realms forum to the color pink, despite knowing how this would affect the other participants, and completely disregarding their opinions,

Appalled by the insults the Sedgistan government has thrown occasionally towards other rulers, including the Queen of Crazy Girl, and the unsubstantiated rumors it has spread about them,

Concerned by the powerhungry acts of Sedgistan, such as the seizing of important positions within the Rejected Realms and other regions for itself, and believing its ambition could spread out all over the World,

Also noting how Sedgistan simply leaves a position unattended to further its agenda in its search for more power,

Observing that Sedgistan feels it is superior to all surrounding nations, and its citizens perceive themselves as better than inhabitants of other nations,

Concluding that Sedgistan is a threat to other nations, due to its arrogant and powerhungry nature, and therefore deserves to be condemned,

Hereby condemns Sedgistan!

Condemn the Greater German Reich

ACKNOWLEDGING the region of The Greater German Reich as a region that was created for the sole purpose of disrupting the harmony of ordinarily peaceful and active regions, leftist or otherwise.

RECOGNISING The Greater German Reich as a threat to the safety and stability of the world

FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGING the havoc, mayhem and destruction the above mentioned region has caused though its considerable raiding forces (under the leadership of its Founder The Greater German Reich of Leather-clad Germany) to other passive and democratic regions such as the most recent examples of Leningrad, Socialist Alliance, The Jewish Zionist Empire and to a lesser extent the New Union of Socialist Nations and the Democratic Socialist Alliance.

REMINDING nations that at least one liberation resolution (SECURITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION # 41 "Liberate Republicans") has had to be imposed by the Security Council in response to the hostile acts of The Greater German Reich

ALARMED at the inability for many of the smaller regions, on which the forces of The Greater German Reich prey, to successfully repel its raiding parties.

DISTURBED at the complete disregard for peace, democracy, regional/state sovereignty and freedom exercised by The Greater German Reich at all levels.

DISMAYED at the fact that The Greater German Reich has not been held accountable to its crimes in this forum sooner and the fact that the overwhelming feelings of injustice for the natives of the targeted regions is further reinforced by the lack world support and lack of punishment for The Greater German Reich

These nations have achieved #1 in reports such as, Largest Automobile Manufacturing Sector, Largest Agricultural Sector, Largest Cheese Export Sector, Largest Book Publishing Sector, Fastest Growing Economies, Most Subsidized Industry, and Lowest Unemployment Rates,

Also Acknowledging: Sketch, for being the first nation to bring Wysteria into the spotlight by climbing to the top of the world census reports, and again The Grendels for keeping track of marketing reports since 2005. Marketing Reports consisted of the top 30 nations of Wysteria, which show the current rank and also how much the nations have risen or fallen since the last census report of the same market,

REMEMBERING the past work done by Sedgistan as defender, working to protect the rights of natives to control their own regions,

UNDERSTANDING that nations can change drastically over time.

ACKNOWLEDGING with sadness Sedgistan's invasion of The South Pacific using the puppet nation Devonitians,

OBSERVING the support granted to Sedgistan for this invasion activity by invader groups,

SHOCKED by Sedgistan's betrayal of the trust of friends and allies which Sedgistan once earned as a defender,

HORRIFIED by the destructiveness of Sedgistan's rule over The South Pacific, during which Sedgistan suppressed free speech to silence opposition from nations native to The South pacific, closed down legitimate embassies, and removed all references to the regional forum in an attempt to deny nations within the region easy access to said forum,

BELIEVING that any nation which undermines the sovereign rights of natives in such a hostile, brutal, and destructive manner which contradicts the values it was previously commended for no longer deserves the honor of retaining a World Assembly commendation,

RECOGNIZING the threat that the Blackhelm Confederacy poses towards international safety and goodwill by its intention to take over peaceful nations holding natural resources like oil,

SHOCKED in the above mentioned conflicts unarmed civilians were often intentionally shot, raped, and tortured as a means of striking fear into the opposing nation,

APPALLED that the Blackhelm Confederacy uses slave labor to produce oil for a price severely below the market,

FURTHER NOTING the recent suppression of minorities in the Blackhelm Confederacy, where innocent people, including young children, were assaulted, raped, executed , locked in "salvation camps" or sold to work as slaves in other nations because of their religious background,

SUMMARIZING that the Blackhelm Confederacy's violations of human rights and excessive violence against sovereign nations and civilians as described above is absolutely terrifying, and should be deemed unacceptable by the World Assembly,

Condemn Flag Thief

Believing that overt imitation or 'stealing' the likeness of another nation's flag is also an offense to (1) international goodwill (2) the integrity of a national identity (3) the sovereignty of a state,

Noting that the nominee is internationally recognized as a 'thief' of national flags, Flag Thief regularly imitates the flags of well-known nations -- imitations that have caused confusion in previous years,

Further Noting that the nominee has conducted this dangerous practice since Jan 2004, and its past victims include: Kandarin, Naivetry , Evil Wolf, Durkadurkiranistan II, Francos Spain, Crazy Girl, SalusaSecondus, Stephistan, Sedgistan, Kryozerkia, Corinthe, MrNonchalant , LadyRebels, The twoslit experiment, Chin-Chillas, Fudgetopia, Mikeswill, Kalibarr, Improving Wordiness and Unibot,

Alarmed by the recent broadening of the Flag Thief's Modus operandi to include regional flags and emblems like the Pacific, Europeia and The Black Hawks as targets of imitation as well -- these transgressions threaten regional sovereignty and harbor the same present dangers to supranational diplomacy and goodwill as imitations of national flags do,

Further Alarmed by the nominee's theft of the World Assembly flag and emblem -- which is an unsanctioned usage of the flag and highly illegal if one recalls the litigation and mass carnage that ensued from the NSUN having used --without authorization-- the distinctive flag of another bureau-that-shall-not-be-named,

Recognizing that (1) the imitation of Francos Spain's flag was a violation of c.1007 of the Civil Code for Uniform Justice and Order in the Pacific ("unauthorized use of another nation's flag or other details as your own"), a rule that is still enforced in the Pacific as c.106 in the current edition of the Pacifican Civil Code, (2) the imitation of the Pacific's flag was a violation of c.405 of the current Pacifican Civil Code ("claiming association, affiliation, or representation of the Pacific government in any act without authorization"),

Recalling that on Jan 20, 2011, Flag Thief used a mocking depiction of Violet -- a popular deity -- as a computer-savvy young girl for its flag which caused an uproar due to the aniconistic traditions of Violetism -- some cited fear and panic that "no one is safe [from imitation]!", others cited the religious offense that the action could have for Violetists,

Expressing its belief that this depiction was for the purposes of hostility against minority religions, not a political rite of free expression. Flag Thief declared that it "proudly [flies] this flag" and further sentiments which identify this as a hostile act against a religious majority disguising itself with a rebellious facade,

Hereby Condemns Flag Thief.

Asserting that, through the following actions, The Kraven Corporation has acted against the World Assembly's principles of promoting international peace, goodwill, and harmony between nations, and therefore warrants condemnation,

Acknowledging that the Kraven Corporation has an infamous history of wanton destruction of all life, be it through military conquest or through pollution from aggressive industrial practices,

Noting that the High Command of The Kraven Corporation has violated the human rights and civil liberties of billions of innocent people who, whether they opposed The Kraven Corporation or not, were exterminated by the corporation during its unholy approach to the proliferation of resources to fuel its perpeptual war machine,

Recognizing that The Kraven Corporation neglects the human rights, dignity, and security of its people by raiding the homes of its own citizens with forces of The Kraven Military Arm in the search of "Thought Criminals,"

Further recognizing that all who are removed from their homes during raids are sent to death in purpose-built extermination facilites without fair trial,

Shocked by the Kraven Corporation's many acts of genocide and other horrific acts including but not limited to:

The continued and widespread usage of slave labour camps, concentration camps, labour camps, internment camps and extermination camps,
The abuse of the human rights of women by forcing them to breed for the sole purpose of producing Capitol Police Infantry,
The abuse of sovereign nations by invading them, subjugating them, and stealing resources from them,
The extermination campaign against Jagada; where approximately four billion people were wiped out by Kraven Capitol Police Battalions,
The extermination campaign against Dreathis where one and a half billion people were wiped out by Capitol Police Battalions,
The destruction of the Groznyian Coastal City by The Subjugator Class Super-Dreadnaught "The Dark Throne II"; where approximatly seven hundred thousand people were killed during the bombardment,
The prolonged carpet bombing of Groznyian Capital City by The Kraven Air Arm,
The vicious bombardment of the island of Svarnok by the Kraven Naval Arm,


Concluding that, by directly opposing the World Assembly's principles of promoting international peace, goodwill, and harmony between nations, by committing itself to a doctrine of absolute warfare, by subjugating those who do not comply to its various requests or demands, and by exterminating those who resist, The Kraven Corporation has shown itself deserving of the scorn of the World Assembly and of a WASC condemnation,

Hereby Condemns The Kraven Corporation.

NOTING that the nation of "Swarmlandia" was recently condemned by the nation of "Sakaba",

FURTHER NOTING that, according to the accounts of many senior nations which have had numerous years to observe the happenings of this world and according to a statement made by the nation of Sakaba itself years ago, the nation of "Swarmlandia" is controlled by the exact same administration as the nation of "Sakaba,"

STANDING AGAINST such demonstrations of self-acknowledgement through the abuse of an international organization such as the World Assembly Security Council and finding it likely that the member(s) of the administration of both nations only seek to promote their own interests through passing a condemnation of their own lands,

BELIEVING the acts supposedly committed by Swarmlandia to be atrocious, however noting that it was quite possible that such "tourists" could simply have been forced to enter the nation of Swarmlandia by its sister nation of Sakaba for the purposes of justifying such a condemnation of Swarmlandia,

FURTHER IDENTIFYING absolutely no information whatsoever located in the international forums or found in any other such area that verifies the claims made by Sakaba against Swarmlandia; in essence, no credible records of Swarmlandia's torture of foreigners have ever been found and therefore it cannot be so quickly assumed by such an important body as the World Assembly that such events ever took place,

CONCLUDING that this condemnation is an illegitimate attempt to draw attention to jointly controlled territories while not being backed up by any form of substantial evidence whatsoever,

HEREBY REPEALS the condemnation of Swarmlandia.

RECOGNIZING the existence of the Ballotonian "office of almost-useless stats," which produced an interesting survey entitled "Flag Use Stats" which recorded statistics such as the most used flag in the world,

APPLAUDING the work of Ballotonian number analysts who conducted a population growth investigation with the goal of determining how quickly nations gain population and uncovered results that surprised many and debunked the old myth about population gain, which was that the population growth would be random as opposed to a systematic increase,

ASTONISHED that despite over 85000 nations currently existing, the same issues keep popping up in all of these nations,

COGNIZANT that Ballotonia has, through extensive research, catalogued these issues and the most common responses to them by nations, given the different issues names and numbers, and also listed the options that nations frequently take when addressing these issues,

RECOGNIZING Ballotonia as the author of the Security Council proposal 'Repeal Commend Sedgistan,' the only Security Council proposal yet to pass in the wake of the coup of The South Pacific by Devonitions, a puppet state of Sedgistan,

AWARE that the motion to repeal has come from natives of Eastern Europe not involved in the original dispute, with Czech Mate, Flobos, and Romani Romania all abstaining in the regional referendum in which the participating parties unanimously supported a repeal by a 10-0 margin, with 5 total abstentions,

UNDERSTANDING that the natives of Eastern Europe feel more secure not having forced liberation status, particularly in light of the recent discovery of a dozen puppets in Eastern Europe and the failure of their master to identify their intent, as well as a separate failed invasion of Eastern Europe approximately one month ago,

RESPECTING that the nations of Eastern Europe believe that repealing Resolution #36 will allow them to finally move on from a tumultuous chapter in their regional history,

ACKNOWLEDGING with regret the chaos which erupted within the Pacifics several months ago as a result of Sedgistan's takeover of The South Pacific and as a result of the ensuing conflict between The West Pacific and The South Pacific,

RECOGNIZING Punk Reloaded as the renegade delegate of The West Pacific,

NOTING that, soon before the takeover in The South Pacific, Punk Reloaded noted the threat of a mutiny by the old guard of The West Pacific, which was angered by Punk Reloaded's inactivity and wished to replace the delegate,

FURTHER NOTING that Punk Reloaded's unnecessary response to this threat was to declare war on The South Pacific rather than to make improvements to conditions within The West Pacific, claiming that the war was part of The West Pacific's crusade on "inactivity" while Punk Reloaded was merely attempting to avoid the consequences of being an inactive delegate within its home region,

ACKNOWLEDGING this war with The South Pacific as a totally unwarranted action against a damaged region and noting that Punk Reloaded's West Pacific has used various duplicitous tactics in its attacks on The South Pacific, including but not limited to:
--- attempts to lobby WA members within The South Pacific to withdraw endorsements from their delegate in order to destabilize the region and incite conflict within it,
--- the failed attempt to use lies and contortions of the truth to condemn the former delegate of The South Pacific, Southern Bellz, the rightful and fairly elected delegate of the region,

WITNESSING Punk Reloaded's recent termination of the cease-fire between The West Pacific and The South Pacific and further witnessing the delegate's sudden retraction of its formally announced intentions to resign from its position,

TROUBLED by Punk Reloaded's questionable actions within The West Pacific, such as:
--- the delegate's suppression of the popular vote on the condemnation of Southern Bellz when the majority of the WA voters in The West Pacific's forums maintained a firm position AGAINST the condemnation for over 6 days and during which Punk Reloaded ignored these voters and chose to ABSTAIN (and later chose to manipulate the WA vote with an anonymous poll added long after the TWP voters had responded to the condemnation publicly),
--- the replacement of The West Pacific's Constitution with the delegate's own version, which was riddled with errors and enacted without even a 2/3 majority vote of The West Pacific's Regional Assembly,
--- the delegate's appointment of governmental officers, such as the region's Minister of Defense, without these officers meeting the requirements specified in Punk Reloaded's own Constitution of The West Pacific,
--- the delegate's establishment of The West Pacific's "Republic," a body which is a great affront to Pacific sovereignty and which is comprised of many representatives from foreign regions which maintain great influence over the workings of The West Pacific's government,
--- the delegate's disregard for the election of other governmental officials, such as the New Member Coordinator,

BELIEVING Punk Reloaded to be a dangerous influence in The West Pacific and an enemy of peace and justice within the entire world,

RECOGNIZING that Security Council Resolution #48 was intended to prevent Wonderful Paradise from being refounded by invaders from NAZI EUROPE,

NOTING that subsequent events did not turn out as planned, for the appearance of the resolution motivated the invaders to advance their plans to refound the nominee,

DISMAYED that NAZI EUROPE attempted to refound Wonderful Paradise while SC#48 was still being voted upon,

THANKFUL that the worst did not happen, for defenders were able to pre-empt the refounding on March 14, 2011,

NOTING that SC#48 passed on March 17, 2011, three days after the region was already refounded by defenders which returned foundership of Wonderful Paradise to the native community,

RECOGNIZING that while the resolution was noble in intent, the refounding of Wonderful Paradise all but invalidated SC#48,

UNDERSTANDING that natives of Wonderful Paradise, including the founder Capital Knockers and the delegate Ovlov United, wish to repeal SC#48 and free the region from the resolution's limitations. For example, the resolution prevents future delegates from password-protecting the region in order to control invaders, and severely limits the community's ability to refound the region in the unlikely event that the founder ceases to exist,

ENDEAVORING to honor the natives' request and restore full sovereignty rights to Wonderful Paradise,

HEREBY RETIRES SC#48 "Liberate Wonderful Paradise".

Acknowledging Naivetry's opposition to the destruction of communities by invaders has been constant, and that particularly during the 2009 invasion of Belgium, the campaigning of Naivetry was a major factor in the World Assembly gaining the ability to save Belgium and many other regions since from destruction,

Remembering Naivetry as the author of one Security Council resolution and as an active contributor to the Security Council during the body's beginning, helping improve the quality of resolutions,

Condemn Thatcherton

Description: NOTING that The British Dominion of Thatcherton was once the Prime Minister and World Assembly Delegate of the peaceful region of The Federation of Kievan Rus.

UNDERSTANDING that the leaders of Thatcherton abused their leadership position within the region to eject and ban almost all nations from the region without provocation, including the founder.

ALSO UNDERSTANDING that Thatcherton then declared that the region's "last ten minutes were more interesting than its next ten weeks", indicating Thatcherton's actions were due to boredom of its leaders.

FURTHER UNDERSTANDING that Thatcherton did this due to its leaders planning to abandon the nation to wither into obscurity, thus absolving it of any responsibility of the destruction of its region.

AWARE that Thatcherton's leaders soon chickened out of abandoning the nation, and Thatcherton went on to join the regions of The Commonwealth of Crowns and The Empire of United Nations.

RECOGNIZING that after Thatcherton's treacherous act, The Federation of Kievan Rus crumbled to dust as no nation dared to come back.

DENOUCING that Thatcherton used a puppet state to create a new The Federation of Kievan Rus, which motto on its World Factbook Entry was "All hail Thatcherton!"

ACKNOWLEDGING that even though the original inhabitants have regained The Federation of Kievan Rus, efforts to restore the region to its former glory have not come to fruition.

ALSO ACKNOWLEDGING that despite The Wreaker's pleas to the regions of The Commonwealth of Crowns and The Empire of United Nations to punish Thatcherton, the regions ignored the pleas and went on to eject and ban the innocent The Wreaker while sheltering Thatcherton.

REALIZING that Thatcherton was the chief culprit in the destruction and stagnation of The Federation of Kievan Rus, and proper punishment should be given.

CONCLUDING that Thatcherton is a region destroyer and HEREBY CONDEMNS Thatcherton.

RECOGNIZING the World Assembly ambassador of Glen-Rhodes, Dr. Bradford Castro, as one of the most prolific resolution authors of all time,

FURTHER RECOGNIZING the nation's delegation as a massive influence within the General Assembly which has currently drafted and passed an extraordinary collection of resolutions such as:

• GAR#52 Food Welfare Act, which prompts the distribution of food to countries plagued by famine while also creating an international seed bank to prevent individual crops from going extinct,
• GAR#61 WA Copyright Charter, which creates an international standard for copyrights and protects patent holders from possible discrimination by individual member-states,
• GAR#70 International Competition Laws, which promotes international free trade while preventing impairments to international trade (such as cartels, exclusive trade, and other anti-competitive policies),
• GAR#94 Microcredits and Microgrants, which creates the World Microcredit Foundation as well as a subset - the Microgrant Institute - to distribute microcredits and microgrants to impoverished individuals,
• GAR#112 Convention on Execution, which affects the practice of execution within member states while protecting certain individuals from capital punishment (pregnant individuals, mentally instable individuals, and children). This was an important compromise which resolved a tense resurgence of the capital punishment issue in the General Assembly,
• GAR#130 Elections and Assistance Act, which promotes fair election in democratic nations and creates the Organization for Electoral Assistance, the purpose of which is to to assist nations with elections,

APPLAUDING the government of Glen-Rhodes for its creation of an automatically updated archive of how any member-nation that uses the service has voted in the General Assembly and the Security Council. This "Vote Tracker" has been immensely useful for any member-nation that wishes to maintain a record of its voting history.

FURTHER APPLAUDING Glen-Rhodes' relentless advocacy for democratic reform in the World Assembly voting system, although not necessarily agreeing with Glen-Rhodes on this issue. The nominee's steadfast advocacy and commitment is incontrovertibly admirable. To reveal what the nominee believed is an undemocratic system, Glen-Rhodes created "RealVotes," which reveals the votes of individual WA nations, the votes of individual WA delegates, and the influence that standard WA members have during individual votes broken down into a percentage,

IMPRESSED by the tenacity expressed by Dr. Castro while debating in the chambers of the General Assembly and by his persistence and application of logic and reasoning,

CONVINCED that any nation that instills such positive change in the world deserves recognition by the medium through which it conducted such change,

HEREBY commends Glen-Rhodes.

Recalling the apology Unknown's leaders issued to the two victims, and admittance of mistakes in the handling of the events that led to the condemnation,

Realizing that Unknown has not only paid for the mistake of failing to punish the unstable agent in question by the negative label of forum destroyers, but also because the agent later took control of the founder nation of Unknown and ejected many nations from the region,

BELIEVING that the extensive length of time that Mikeswill has spent as delegate of the region called "Nationstates" is due in part to the fact that the delegate of the region has never been democratically elected, is thanks to the key role which defenders played in preventing the invasion of the region on September 10, 2010, and is partly due to Mikeswill's long-held invader ties,

IDENTIFYING "The Highlander 1" as a nation which was secretly controlled by the administration of Mikeswill and further identifying The Highlander 1 as a member of the notorious invader group DEN and as the founder of the invader hideout Ile de France,

NOTING the strong position against the World Assembly Security Council which Mikeswill maintained for many years, and noting the nation's constant appearances in the WASC forums not to debate or to aid others, but to place a previously prepared message within the discussion on the resolution at vote which did not address the topic of the debate but rather advertised the nation's region, criticized what the nation believed to be defenders' "cowardice" for resorting to liberations when a region was captured by raiders, and which generally put down the Security Council itself,

FURTHER NOTING that, while the nation of Mikeswill has supposedly stood against every function of the Security Council since the council was established as a legitimate division of the World Assembly, the nation has not had the modesty to refrain from approving various proposals to commend itself over the years, and believing this choice to be rather hypocritical and distasteful,

DETERMINING that, based on this knowledge, Mikeswill might not be the best candidate for a commendation which praises the nation's alleged "dedicated service to the World Assembly,"

FURTHER BELIEVING that calling Mikeswill "one of the most dedicated nations in the world" is a nice gesture, but when such a grand claim is barely backed up by a resolution's text the World Assembly must disregard the claim and not allow such vague ideas to influence the WA's collective opinion,

HEREBY REPEALS the commendation of Mikeswill.
