NS opinion on mod ignorance?

Postby Buccaneers FC » Tue Sep 01, 2009 6:20 pm

There was this one suggestion about being allowed to customize your nation name (not prefix) after you had registered. However, the mods completely ignored it and denounced it. Do you think they're becoming more closed-minded to new ideas?

Not exactly surprising, since I'm sure it's used in all kinds of arrays and databases and other computer words.
Do you think they're becoming more closed-minded to new ideas?

The fact that they're addressing peoples' suggestions at all in the Technical forum suggests 'no'.

Yes, but they respond in a negative, denouncing way.

How can they have ignored and denounced it?

If you denounce something, you're at least addressing it.

EDIT: Goddamn you, Mad Hatters! You've slipsnagged me for the last time! Get off my sister!

In this circumstance, Erastide responded "Why can't you just make a new nation?" and left the thread.

You're right. A reasonable, viable suggestion is mere negative denouncing. Up that guy's.

Well, he never posted again, thus making the idea a completely ignored failure.

How moderators treat new ideas:

Actually, I do wonder why the OP couldn't just make a new nation.

Also, how is "ignorance" the word for mods not jumping on board a game suggestion?

renaming your nation after you register is a good idea, but the mods mention that it was bad and violet blocked it.

i think they should have done better with DoS and IP bans before they decided to stop the nation renaming.

Because the population is tons smaller than the original nation, which sucks.
