From the very earliest days of the Anemonian state, martial prowess and force of arms have stood as integral parts of both its military might and cultural essence. However, reflecting its diverse and storied history, the Anemonian arms industry and the State Armaments Export Authority that represents it differs considerably from their counterparts overseas in that there is no single corporation, or corporate conglomerate - the State Armaments Export Authority is composed of a considerable number of concerns, old and new, large and small, known and lessknown, that specialise in a wide variety of fields and produce weaponry, equipment and technology of every kind. This considerable array of diverse and varied enterprises and expertise, the Arsenals of Anemos Major, is gathered under the auspices of the Directorate of Regulation to compete and cooperate in the name of the State, drawing from this unrivalled selection of specialist and general, industrial and research concerns to provide its buyers, foreign and domestic alike, the finest and newest that the Second Empire can offer.
