Welcome to Deadliest Warrior! Here, we shall test to see who is NationStates' Deadliest Warrior! Signups are open and welcome to all. Matches will start every weekend, regardless of whether or not others are going on. Everyone who has signed-up for The 4th Realm's Deadliest Warrior topic, which everyone should check out, is welcome to sign-up here as well. Since I do plan on entering the competition, I am also going to look for someone willing to host the Holy Warrior episode so as to avoid any conflict of interest.

Warrior Bio:
The Special Tactics Force is the personal military force of the Grand Commander- officially, it has no ties whatsoever to the GWO Government, and is even funded by the Grand Commander's private funds (which, considering his holdings in corporations around the world, is considerable- he's essentially a trillionaire).

The S.T.F. was originally founded as an underground paramilitary elite to protect the R.E.F.M., Griffith Artiche's political organization that challenged the old Democratic Regime of the GWO. To this day, the things they actually did during the days before the actual Putsch are tightly kept secrets, save for the protection of R.E.F.M. leaders. Once the Putsch happened, they formed the vanguard on the March on Parliament, and also seized the Parliament without firing a shot.

Today, the original S.T.F. members are either dead or Officers in the "new" force. Their descendants are also given officer commissions, and the entire organization is formed much like an order of chivalry. The current Chancellor of the Federation, Heinrich Slaag, is also their Grandmaster- a post he took before becoming Chancellor. The enlisted ranks consist of nothing short of supersoldiers.

Historical Battles/Significance, Lifestyle: S.T.F. Agents (that is, enlisted men) are confiscated "illegal children," orphans, and artificially produced (SIC, the government pretty much robs fertility banks) children taken before they're three years old. Their entire childhood is spent learning how to fight, lead, and related fields (including how to apply mathematics to fighting, etc), and it climaxes in two live-fire wargames. Throughout the entire training program, out of the usual 50,000-child "batch," only 5,000 are permitted to graduate into the ranks. Most of the others die during training, anyways- quite often, by the hand of their brothers.

The S.T.F. has had a reputation of being one of the most lethal and utterly terrifying fighting units in the history of mankind. Quite literally, they have NEVER been defeated in battle, from the March on Parliament to the wetworks operations they perform for the Grand Commander today.

Close Range weapon (max of two): Max of two? You make this so, so hard. Every GWO soldier, as well as S.T.F. Agent, carries a KM2000 knife tucked in a sleeve on the side of their boot, and a Kukri machete (Google those, they're RL items). S.T.F. Agents often will carry morningstars, tomahawks, or improvised weapons. You've also got to consider that close range can apply to things like shotguns (in this case, the F.S.I.A.A.S. which is the bottom one in this post) and SMGs (in which case we use P-90s, Kriss Super Vs, and MI-8A2s in Compact format). Also, S.T.F. Agents are more than capable of dashing your brains out with their gauntleted fists. Or curbstomping you. Either way, you're dead.
Mid range (max of two): You're not helping with the limit. Do pistols count? We've got an automatic 5.7mm handgun we use, called the MI-P57. Other than that, MI-8A2 all the way, usually in 6.5mm Grendel Assault Rifle or 8mm Mauser Battle Rifle format. Also, the MMG42, which is simply a "Nazi-style" MG42 made with newer materials and production techniques.
Long range (max of two): L115 Super Magnum, MI-8A2, but since the MI-8A2 is also our mid-range (anyrange ftw), let's throw in the EASR-L150 .50BMG AM rifle (essentially an M82 with 5 feet of barrel)
special weapon: Milkor MGLs with a wide array of shells, including shells filled with Hydrogen Cyanide, VX, or, in last-ditch cases (seeing as it can go right through gas masks), Novichok.
Other weapon: M120 Mortar, also with chemical options

Also, this should help you with our armor. Just throw in a titanium chainmail on top of the GIPU attachments, and you've got S.T.F. armor.

Warrior Bio: The Holy Warriors are more than a warrior elite, a religious order, or the first, last, and best line of defense of the Church- they are the very essence of the Holy Marsh Himself. From its humble start in the mountains of Pushania responding to Cultist aggression, they have shown themselves to be the embodiment of His well. They have engaged in not only ever war and campaign waged by the Church, but has spearheaded nearly every successful campaign and are the key to the greatest victories of the Militaristic Theocratic Empire. From the deserts and badlands of Mushania to the vast jungles of Pushania, to the high mountains of Atrea to the dense urban sprawls that house the Marshite people, Holy Warriors have engaged His enemies in totality from the start and will continue to do so until the very religion is wiped from history.

A life of a Holy Warrior is one of fire and then death. You are born into it and from birth are trained in war, faith, and loyalty. Each child is separated from one's mother and father and placed in with children of roughly the same age range. These children shall then grow together, train together, and eventually fight together- this bond is unbreakable. The training itself is intense and never-ending, with most days after the age of five being fifteen hours of training. Along with combat training, all are instilled with fiery zealotry and loyalty to the church.

At around the age of sixteen, the companies are then deployed in active-observation roles, where they are given somewhat simple tasks(such as clearing a city block of opposing militia). For two years, the company participates in such activities until it is deemed combat ready and are fully initialized into the Holy Warriors.

From there, the entire life of a Holy Warrior is to train, pray, and fight until you die or are disabled and other uses found for you. Most die. However, a Holy Warrior veteran is an experienced combat elite who considers victory to be a Holy Mission and has experienced the heaviest possible fighting. A Holy Warrior finds himself just as comfortable in large-scale fights as in small-scale, special operations.

Physically, Holy Warriors have been bred over the many generations to be as near-perfect a physical specimen as possible. While there are, of course, mistakes, taken as a whole, this program has been a success. While not in any way, shape, or form superior to fit normal people, a Holy Warrior is genetically pre-disposed to physical excellence. This is compounded by the fierce physical training.

Skillwise, Holy Warriors become experts with their weapons long before most militaries even accept recruits. The continued training and experience means that weapons operation of all personal weapons, most weapons used by opposing nations, and weapons used by allies, are carried out at expert levels without flaw. This makes a Holy Warrior force that is running out of supplies just as deadly as the weapons they can find after they have run out, and it makes them far more combat effective.

Tactically, Holy Warriors spend much of their life learning the ways of war and acting on those principles. This means that their tactics are oriented to work in certain terrain; tactics that work in the deep jungle do not work in the desert and vice versa. Holy Warriors who are born in certain areas of the country(and thus in different climates) tend to be somewhat superior to other Holy Warriors in their own climates, but this is perhaps more of a nitpick than anything else, as Holy Warriors dominate any landscape on Earth.

Exerpt two: Srgt. Rosco J. VonWulfhousen was born in the capital of Eisen Reich, his parents were respected public officials and were killed in a violent pro democracy riot. He was 10 at the time and the state took him in. He has since been training with the Iron Wolves and has seen more combat and killed more men then any soldier on record. He has no pity,mercy,remorse, or doubt that he must do what it takes to keep order and serve his leader.

Warrior Bio: The Orion Shock Troopers, are the most elite soldier's of the Gretonian Armed Forces, they are also the oldest Special Forces unit and has served as an example for other Special Operation units in other branches. Officially it wasn't until 2004 that the Army confirmed the existence of an elite "shock" trooper, designed for operations that not even the well known Marine Commando's could accomplish. The OST's existence has been discussed multiple times by Military commander's of the ethnic's, and for that matter if the OST has accomplished it's mission.

The OST was formed during the War on Fascism in the 1940's only years before the Purge on Fascism which the OST accomplished by itself in secrecy. Gretonian Military commander's realized the need for an elite force that could go in and out at rapid times, and sabotage the enemy without the need of Military assistance as such the Olympian-I project was born and the Olympian Squad failed utterly in it's first operation. As such the second project named Orion-II was a complete success, in fact the enemy soon called them "shock" troopers as they were surprised before being able to react.

The name Orion Shock Troopers stuck and became the official name, while to this day Military documents use Orion-II when referring to the OST. The training in the OST is crude, disturbing, and violent for an Volunteer Military force. In fact no one chooses or join's the OST besides the high ranking Military Officers who ensure that the OST is never exposed to the public to much. The Orion "baby" factory as it is called is where women are forced to give birth to children, with the sole intention of becoming Military weapons of destruction.

During childhood, these children are exposed to the cruel reality of war, through images, video's, and other means of propaganda. By age 8 they are forced to start working out (running, weightlifting, etc.) only the men do this and women learn that they're purpose is to ensure the OST is a smooth running machine (they learn to be as they are nicknamed "house mothers") and others are picked by 16 to work in the Orion factory.

Meanwhile by age 10, OST recruits shoot they're first weapons under the guide of Alpha Unit Squad 10. They are beaten severely, and learn to show no mercy, regret, pain, or any other emotions besides anger, hostility, and other traits. When a recruit dies at the hand's of another recruit no punishment is given but instead praise for that he showed no mercy even in training. By age 13 they receive "the mark" basically they are tattooed the symbol of the OST on they arms while being lashed 45 times.

This "dark side" only get's worse but is kept secret at any cost from anyone who tries and stumble to close upon the OST. At age 16 men are for the first time interrogated where they are beaten as if the trainers were enemy soldiers. It is not officially known how many have died over the years do to the training but Squad 10 places it at 123 boys. Upon graduation each member is given his "gold" which is the golden pin of the OST and meaning they are ready for placement in a Unit and Squad. After this they are ready for any operation in they're long careers of horror, neglect for human emotions, and brutality even by they're own commanders.

Historical Battles/Significance, Lifestyle: The Purge on Fascism as it is called was when multiple squads of the OST stormed an area occupied rebel forces of the Government and killed every single one of them all 786 and suffered 17 casualties. The lifestyle of the OST is brutal, disturbing, and filled with pain, basically it is described above.

Mathew Talaird is thrirty years old now but he was born during the Great Civil War. This war lasted forty years and was one of the bloodiest wars in the nation's history. Literally billions died and other raped and tortured. Anarchy ruled the land and gunfights were common. Growing up in that environment hardened a person. Mathew became a very hard-edged person. At age seven he was already being trained in small arms and guerilla warfare. At age ten he was participating in raids and assassinations. At age thirteen he was performing solo ops in the homeland of other factions of the War. When the battered nation finally united he served in the Konai for a year and a quarter until he retired and became a Mercenary.
Expert two: Jennifer Sanchez

Jennifer is twenty-nine as of now. Being born in the middle of the Great Civil War, like Mathew, she faced much hardship and was faced with death every day. However, through it all, she remained a pretty happy person. Much like Mathew she was trained in small arms at a young age and than started going on Guerilla raids. Unlike Mathew, she did not perform solo ops, but instead insisted on staying behind as a defender and medic. She helped to save many lives during the War. Afterwards, she joined the Konai Special Forces and is still serving today.

The reason behind this was that every former faction's best warriors could come together to create a guerilla force like no other. The Konai are specialists in guriella warfare. Hit-and-Run, Demolition, Assassination, Snatch-and-Grab, and Search and Destroy. However, if you put them in front of a a company of hostile infantry they will not falter. Born in the fires of the Civil War they have lost their sense of fear and doom.

Stories have been told of occurances where Konai have stood up against large hostile infantry groups until some form of support arrived. Fatigued, wounded, dehydrated, near-death, it doesn't matter with these men as they are fiercly loyal to the nation. The men were trained and bred for one thing. The completion of their mission and the survival of their squadmates ar their only worries at the time of the mission.

Historical Battles: [Unofficially-Battles during the Great Civil War] Revolution in Kolmakova, they supported the rebel opposition and supplied them with the means of rebellion.

Lifestyle: A Konai's life is simple. Train, fight, kill. Every day, one could see Konai training on the range, courses, or sparring with each other.

The 88 forces are split into two forces, the secret service and the special forces. The special forces was the first group to be established, it was made for the purpose of training elite infantry which would fight in task forces with specific objectives. The secret service group was established six years later which the objective of training highly skilled assassins, the secret service ever since had been involved in some of the highest profile assassinations in history, including the assassination of the president and his cabinet of a nation which will remain unmanned. The 88 secret service which will be the one represented doesn't stop at anything to complete a mission, taking down obstacles, be they soldier, politicians or civilians... Unlike the 88 special forces task forces and the regular military, secret service task forces aren't payed per month, their payed per mission. Assassinations ranging from a payoff of 100,000-400,000 per task force, and lower level assignments such as taking objectives paying off 2000-10,000 per task force. Ergo secret service task forces are pretty much glorified assassins who sometimes also do work at a military level. When a secret service task force becomes incompetent to the point of being a liability the task force is either disbanded, demoted to Special Forces or killed. So you can see an operative's X factor, either death or cash and nothing will stop them.

Lorenzo worked for six years in the 88 secrete service. He performed in some of the most secretive operations the 88 secret service has ever engaged in, including the assassination of several heads of governments and military. All 88 secret serivce operatives are black belts in martial arts and must require basic knowledge in treating injuries that could be gained on the battle field.

This gun is meant to be silent and deadly with twenty rounds in each clip. When the gun is fired in three round bursts the gun requires one whole second before it can fire another burst, the burst lasts one second. When its on single shot there is half a second between each shot.

The Bronco C-4 is used when the 88 want to emerge victorious with a very big bang. The C-4 looks like about three dynamite sticks wrapped together with a detonator which is armed via a remote control which can be used up to a kilometer away. The C-4 can also be used as a kamikaze weapon, the operative igniting the C-4 while it is still on his person killing himself and his enemies around him.
