The captial Montiar housing the King Ashton Fairfax and the royal family, Empire City is not a hub of industry or buisness, but rather of culture and music. This can easily be seen with the city's diverse style of architecture. It is home to some of Montiar's most prominent and well known artists, musicians, poets, and authors. It houses some of Montiar's largest Musueams of Art and History. Although it is the capital of Montiar it is a relativley medium sized city, having a population of about 19.8 million. Nevertheless, the city has thrived. It is situated in the middle of Montiar.
Empire's Arms
Situated in the north-western part of Montiar, Empire's Arms is the largest city in Montiar, it is a hub of commercial and industrial activity, having space elevators, docks, and sprawling skyscrapers. At first, Empire's Arms was a small city, but when it was chosen to be the site of Montiar's first space elevator, it completley transformed the city, making it irregonizable from what it originally was. It is now home to Montiar's largest corperations and maufacturers, most of the buisnesses in the city are controlled by these large corperations, therefore, most of the populace is employed by the private sector, it now has a population of about 30.6 million. Much of the area surrounding the city is made up of simple farming settlements.
Lafayette City
Named after the Supreme Commander of Montiarian Military forces, General Lafayette, Lafayette City is the most militarized city in Montiar. The city houses Montiar's largest military bases, military manufacturers, and military research labratorys. It is also home to Montiar's highest ranking Generals and Admirals. It has earned the nickname "fortress city" and has a population of 20.7 million. It is located in the north-eastern part of Montiar, close to the nation's capital.
Victory City
Victory city is regarded by many as the Technological Capital of Montiar. It is were much of Montiar's labratorys are sitiuated, and is were Montiar's space program was developed and houses some of Montiar's best universites. It continues to develop new technology that propels Montiar into the future, the City's economy, however, is almost wholly reliant on shipping which is done from the ports which choke the manmade cannals and coastal areas of the city. Located in the south-western part of Montiar, the city has a population of about 29.8 million.
Reach City
Although it has a population of just 10.9 million, Reach City is the fastest growing city in Montiar after the city's mayor invested 35% of the city's treasurey into several large corperations. The city has also opened its first space elevator, which has brought even more wealth to it. Like Empire's Arms, almost all of the city's buisnesses are controlled by large corperations, and most of its populace is employed by the private sector. It is located in the south-eastern part of Montiar.
Harvest City
Named after the first Harvest which saved Montiar's populace from starvation in the early days of the country, Harvest is a relativley small city, having a population of about 11.3 million. It is located in the north-western part of Montiar. The city's economy is almost completley reliant on the tourism industry and large corperations which have offices in the city.
Hurricane City
Located in the south-western part of Montiar, Hurricane city is named after Hurrican Dale, which struck Montiar in the country's early days. It is a medium sized city, having a population of about 18.7 million. The city's economy is almost wholly reliant on the tourism industry, as the city is renown for its perfect climate and white sandy beaches. The city is home to some of Montiar's most famous and well-known, artists, singers, rapers, R&B singers, actors, and musical groups.
New Duluba
Located in the south-western part of Montiar, New Duluba was Montiar's first city and capital, named after the country from which the survivors who settled Montiar originated from, the entire city is considered a historical monument. Prefering to remain untouched by modern times, it has largley remained past tech and is considered to be Montiar's greatest historical site. New Duluba's economy is, for the most part, reliant on trade and commerce. The city has a population of about 21.5 million.
