The Technocracy of Fedeledland (Fedeledlandese: Tecnocracia de' Fedeledlandia) is a nation that occupies many and inhabited planets, with a population of 1 trillion ruled from Firenze, D.C, Terra, a city that has grown to occupy the whole 60% of the world that is covered by land.

History
Foundation

Fedeledland's origin as a technocracy can come back to the XXV Century, when a radical, intellectual branch of militant duxs begun to improve some noblemen's gene IQ, by editing unborn fetus' chromosomes after the Human Heredity Project, a branch of the Biology division of the Science Ministry, discovered that the IQ and it's links of intelligence were, in fact, hereditary. After this, the population of Fedeledland started to get more or less rights, according to the IQ. Fortunately by most people, the Fedeledlandese IQ average was relatively high and higher rights were given to many people.

In 2595, the United Duchies created the Quotient Chart, in which the people got officially more rights and different status by IQ, legalizing slavery and feudal rights. The rights of each IQ group were:

• Terman's Stanford-Binet Fourth Revision 54 and below - Proceed to "death chambers" to be quickly ended of their misery
• Terman's Stanford-Binet Fourth Revision 55 to 84 - Slavery. Basically no rights and may be owned by the state or a higher IQ man.
• Terman's Stanford-Binet Fourth Revision 85 to 116 - Serfdom. Basic rights on civil and political issues. Higher taxes, minimum wages and other things in rights.
• Terman's Stanford-Binet Fourth Revision 116 to 132 - Citizenship. Normal rights on civil and political issues. Higher taxes, slightly higher wages and more things in rights than serfs, although less than Nobles.
• Terman's Stanford-Binet Fourth Revision 133 to 148 - High Citizenship. Higher rights on civil issues. Less taxes, more wages and much more rights.
• Terman's Stanford-Binet Fourth Revision 149 to 164 - Noblemen. Full rights on civil issues, and higher say on political ones. No taxes, full wages and all rights. Can hold slaves.
• Terman's Stanford-Binet Fourth Revision 164 or above - Enhanced Noblemen and Genius. Most members of the enhanced nobility of the XXV Century are here, together with a few geniuses. Have full political say. Members of the Theocratic Council and the Royal Family. No taxes. Can use the money of the nation. Are "superior" to all other estamentary societies.

In 2615, the Constitution came into being effective, and, by 2619, the fixed social status population had been established and ran smoothly. Since 2645, it was illegal for a under 116 IQ man to own white, yellow, blue or green, called "Unreachable Colours" by the higher stratus.

In the First of January 2949 A.D, or First of Lorenzio of 1500 a.L (In the exact 1500th anniversary of Lorenzo I's death), the United Duchies begins a reformation in favour of technology and intelligence. Fedeledland is renamed the Fedeledlandese Technocracy (Tecnocracia de' Fedeledlandia).

A lot of money was funneled to the Biology, Astronomy and Chemistry departments of Fedeledland. Almost all other departaments starting closing in the following years. The Ministry of Law was the first to be disbanded, as by the time, the IQ of the person also ordered it's possibilities of education, and all low-IQ people were taught that they were slaves and inferior, which reduced rebellions. The Administration Ministry was the next to close when the Technocratic Council got absolute power. Later came the Health Ministry, that was jointed with the Biology Department. At long end, the only ministries remaining were the science ones, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Defense.

The status quo remains throughout most of Fedeledlandese history until the year 10,000 A.D, (8551 a.L and 7051 a.T (after Technocracy), when hyperspatial travel is discovered. This is taken as a blessing by many people. Firenze had grown to cover the entire planet, and although the planet still had several "green areas", the population of the planet had reached fifty billion and was dug down to the ground some ten kilometers down. Most other rocky planets on the Solar System had been colonized to the same extent, although with a lesser population. Even the ininhabitable Venus and Mercury had fluorishing subterranean communities, numbering 950 million and 1.2 billion inhabitants, respectively.

The first important star colony was placed on the planet Nuova Terra, a till then ignored small planet orbiting the Gliese 581 (now called the Technocracy Star) red dwarf. Since this safeguard in a weak gravity and central positioned stellar system, star travel and colonization multiplied tenfold.
