National Anthem: Guide me, O thou great Redeemer (Tune)
Guide me, O thou great Redeemer
Pilgrim through this barren land
I am weak, but thou art mighty
Hold me with thy powerful hand
Bread of heaven, bread of heaven
Feed me till I want no more
Feed me till I want no more

Open thou the crystal fountain
Whence the healing stream shall flow
Let the fiery, cloudy pillar
Lead me all my journey through
Strong deliverer, strong deliverer
Be thou still my strength and shield
Be thou still my strength and shield

When I tread the verge of Jordan
Bid my anxious fears subside
Death of death, and hell's destruction
Land me safe on Canaan's side
Songs of praises, songs of praises
I will ever give to thee
I will ever give to thee

2. History

Part 1 - Ancient Tekcirb (8562 BCE-1452 CE)
The Island of Tekcirb was first settled in 8562 BCE, which was discovered by studies of writings by people now known as the Native Tekcians who are thought to have sailed from Polynesia. Their small civilization was not discovered by others for near 10,000 years when Chinese Merchants started to trade with Tekcirb's many tribes from about 200 CE this system of trading constantly with the many merchants and businesses of the nearby Chinese Empire continued for a long time, until 1452 CE to be precise.

Part 2 - The Black Eagle Colony (1452 CE-1939 CE)
In 1452 CE the British Empire colonized Tekcirb, the first ship to arrives was the HMS Britannia and was captained by Cameron Ross, Tekcirb was still not united, with many small tribes still scattered all over the island. The tribes of Tekcirb tried to fight off the colonists, but failed and Tekcirb became the Black Eagle Colony, the Black Eagle has always been a symbol of Tekcirb as shown in our current Flag and State Emblem. Tekcirb was important to the British because it was one of their empire's easternmost colonies and was close to some of their biggest enemies, China and Japan. Because of these reasons Tekcirb was very heavily fortified and guarded by the British. At first the Native Tekcians formed rebel armies every few years and failed every time but eventually a treaty was signed giving Tekcirb partial home rule and the wars stopped. In 1939 CE like many countries in Tekcirb's area of the world, Tekcirb fell to the Japanese Empire with Tekcian and Briton were fighting hand in hand, but after 8 months fighting the Japanese captured Port Tekcirb and Tekcirb became a client state of the Japanese Empire.

Part 3 - The Client State and Revolution (1939 CE-1944 CE)
Tekcirb, already had struggled under one empire and now had to struggle under another, but fortunately only for 5 years, unfortunately the Japanese were more oppressive than the British, this is what fuels the widespread hate for "Japs" in Tekcirb. A Brave man decided to start a group of revolutionaries, again unfortunately the rule by these "revolutionaries" turned oppressive also. The leader of the Revolutionary Party of Tekcirb was Banyeor Lorshkmak, he planned that with Soviet military help Tekcirb could be free from "Imperial Agressors" as he called them, On June 30 1944 CE the Japanese fled Tekcirb and a new state was formed the United Socialist States of Tekcirb.

Part 4 - Oppressed by our Own (1944 CE-2011 CE)
Banyeor Lorshkmak and his Revolutionary Party had seized control in Tekcirb after the ousting of the Japanese Empire and promised rights for all Tekcians and higher living standards, these were both acheived and for the first time in 600 years Tekcirb had self rule, or so it would seem, the United Socialist States of Tekcirb was actually a satellite of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, which was a Communist Dictatorship in Russia and 14 other countries, through the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s, Tekcirb had the same stagnated economy only trading with the USSR and its few friends. Until the USSR fell in 1991 when new leader Kepsho Liet reformed the Tekcian economy trading with capitalist countries for the first time, but as he became older he grew more and more authoritarian and the people despised him because he spent all of Tekcirb's money on nukes, so on the 16th of June the 2nd Revolution started with Relkul Setta as their leader, he promised democracy in Tekcirb and 14 days later the United Socialist States of Tekcirb died.

Part 5 - A New Dictator (30 June 2011 CE-29 August 2011)
Unfortunately a General of Relkul Setta's Army, Dormak Millaw seized power and declared himself Leader of Tekcirb for All Eternity on June 30th 2011, he did not turn out to be leader for eternity, he was leader for only 2 months, when on the 19th August 2011 people started to show anger about his lies of bringing democracy to Tekcirb, he allowed an election to decide his fate and he lost, he refused to acknowledge the results of this and 8 days of riots again led by Setta followed eventually abdicating the Dictator on the 29th August 2011.

Part 6 - Hope and Democracy (29 August 2011-Present)
After a day of great uncertainty the Dominion of Tekcirb was proclaimed on the 30th August 2011 by Relkul Setta, Head of the Provisional Government as he had made a deal with Great Britain to return to as Tekcirb was before 1939. Tekcirb started it's first elections soon after with a battle between Setta and his almost complete political opposite Jan Tanron. Relkul Setta won this election in a landslide and after the General Elections Setta's Labour Party formed a coalition with the Liberal Party.

Local rail networks exist in Port Tekcirb, Caetawe, Merfil and Mymguvir. Tekcirb-Merfil International Airport is the island's busiest airport and only International airport. Tekcirb also has two large ports, Port Tekcirb for the south of the country and Bristalyn for the north, which collectively received over 100 million metric tons of goods in 2010.

Airport, Bristalyn Northern Airport is the second largest. The largest airline in Tekcirb is the state-owned TekFlight. They have very little competition in the Tekcian Aviation market.

Rail Transport
The rail network in Tekcirb is controlled by State Railways of Tekcirb, commonly known as SRT, with their flagship service being the InterCity Network which serves every major city in Tekcirb with 6 lines as shown on it's network map.

SRT also controls the Local Rail networks of Tekcirb such as the Port Tekcirb Metro & Eastside Light Railway in Port Tekcirb shown on this map,

The Department of Transport is responsible for maintaining motorways and trunk roads in Tekcirb. Other Tekcian roads are maintained by regional authorities. Toll roads are common in Tekcirb, and as all roads are owned by the government, it has sometimes been called "double taxation" and also makes driving in Tekcirb quite expensive. 6. Culture

The Culture of Tekcirb is originally influenced by many other cultures. It has been developing since long before Tekcirb became a country with its own unique social and cultural characteristics such as dialect, music, arts, social habits, cuisine, and folklore. Today, Tekcirb is an ethnically and racially diverse country as a result of large-scale immigration from many different countries throughout its history. Its chief early influences came from the British and Irish settlers of colonial Tekcirb. British culture, due to colonial ties with Britain that spread the English language, legal system and other cultural inheritances, had a formative influence. Other important influences came from other parts of Europe. Tekcian culture includes both left and right-wing elements, scientific competitiveness, political structures, risk taking and free expression. Despite certain consistent ideological principles (e.g. egalitarianism), Tekcian culture has a variety of expressions due to its demographic diversity. It also includes elements which evolved from Native Tekcians, and other ethnic subcultures; most prominently the culture of the Chinese immigrants and Russian immigrants. Tekcirb has often been thought of as a melting pot; there are many integrated but unique social subcultures within Tekcirb. The cultural affiliations an individual in Tekcirb may have commonly depend on social class, political orientation and a multitude of demographic characteristics such as religious background, occupation and ethnic group membership.

Race
Race in Tekcirb is based on physical characteristics and skin color and has played an essential part in shaping Tekcian society even before the nation's independence. Until the beginning of self-government in the 1880s, racial minorities in Tekcirb faced discrimination and social as well as economic marginalization. Today the Tekcian Census Commission recognizes Tekcirb's three primary races as Native Tekcian, White and East Asian, with Tekcians who do not fit in these descriptions described as "Other".

Social Class
Though most Tekcians today identify themselves as middle class, Tekcian society and its culture are considerably fragmented. Social class, generally described as a combination of educational attainment, income and occupational prestige, is one of the greatest cultural influences in Tekcirb. Distinct lifestyles, consumption patterns and values are associated with different classes. In Tekcirb occupation is one of the prime factors of social class and is closely linked to an individual’s identity. The average work week in Tekcirb for those employed full-time was 35 hours long with 20% of the population working more than 40 hours a week. Tekcians generally hold working and being productive in high regard; being busy as and working extensively may also serve as the means to obtain esteem.

Rugby League
Rugby League is the most popular and national sport of Tekcirb, in Tekcirb the top competition is the all professional Tekcian Rugby League commonly known as the TRL which contains 16 teams from all across the nation including 3 each in the 2 largest cities, Port Tekcirb and Caetawe and at least 1 team in every Tekcian Region. 7. Armed Forces
The Tekcian Armed Forces are the armed forces of the Dominion of Tekcirb. Also known as Her Majesty's Armed Forces and sometimes legally the Armed Forces of the Crown, the British Armed Forces encompasses three professional uniformed services, the Tekcian Royal Navy, the Tekcian Army, and the Tekcian Royal Air Force. The Commander-in-Chief of the Tekcian Armed Forces is the British monarch, at present HM Queen Elizabeth II, to whom members of the forces swear allegiance. Under Tekcian constitutional law, the armed forces are subordinate to the Crown, however this power is qualified by the requirement for parliamentary consent to the maintaining of a standing army and Parliament's approval of taxation and supply of funds for the armed forces. Under the 1929 Bill of Rights no standing army may be maintained during time of peace without the consent of Parliament and in modern times Parliament gives this consent every five years by passing an Armed Forces Act. Consistent with longstanding constitutional convention, the Prime Minister holds de facto authority over the use of the armed forces. The armed forces are managed by the Defence Council of the Ministry of Defence, headed by the Secretary of State for Defence.

The Tekcian Royal Navy (TRN) is the naval warfare service branch of the Tekcian Armed Forces. Tracing its origins to the 17th century, as part of the British Royal Navy, it is the oldest service branch and is known as the Senior Service. From the start of the 18th century until well into the 20th century it was the second most powerful navy in East Asia, only behind the Japanese Navy. The Tekcian Royal Navy operates an array of technologically sophisticated ships including a helicopter carrier, landing platform docks, submarines, guided missile destroyers, frigates, mine counter-measures and patrol vessels. As of October 2011, there are 63 commissioned ships in the TRN.

The Tekcian Army is the land warfare branch of Her Majesty's Armed Forces in the Dominion of Tekcirb. It was founded as part of the British Army in 1707, the Tekcian Army has managed itself from Port Tekcirb since 1929. The full-time element of the Tekcian Army is referred to as the Regular Army since the creation of the reservist Territorial Force in 1914. All members of the Army swear (or affirm) allegiance to the monarch as commander-in-chief. However the Bill of Rights of 1929 requires Parliamentary consent for the Crown to maintain a standing army in peacetime. Parliament therefore annually approves the continued existence of the Army. In contrast to the Tekcian Royal Navy and Tekcian Royal Air Force, the Tekcian Army does not include Royal in its title.

The TRAF is a very capable and technologically sophisticated air force for a country of Tekcirb's size and operates 428 aircraft. The majority of the TRAF's aircraft and personnel are based in Tekcirb with many others serving at overseas bases. The RAF's mission is to support the objectives of the Tekcian Ministry of Defence (MoD), which is stated as
To provide the capabilities needed: to ensure the security and defence of the Dominion of Tekcirb and her allies, including against terrorism; to support the Government’s foreign policy objectives particularly in promoting international peace and security.
Although the RAF is the principal Tekcian air power arm, the Tekcirb Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm and the Tekcian Army's Army Air Corps also deliver air power which is integrated into the maritime, littoral and land environments.
