If I may ask a question, why is there no dedicated thread for flaming? When I scroll through this forum most of the reports I see are flames/flamebaits, so why not give them their own report thread like grave digs and spam? Hopefully this isn't spamming moderation but I would just like to put that idea out there/ find out why it hasn't already been implemented.

Depending on the report, sometimes those require a bit more consideration and discussion is all. Each one is individual - not so much with persistent spammers, or a quick 'please move' report.

I think George has a point. There should be an emergency thread for immediate action that needs to be taken, particularly for porn/gore raiders.

We'd rather not. It's much easier for us to notice one reporting thread for a porn spammer and react to it instead of one long running one.

The thing with the reporting threads is that they are for issues that pop-up often, but are not time sensitive. A gravedig isn't going to end up in a flame war, a thread in the wrong place doesn't expose our players to graphic images, a bit of silly spam (usually) doesn't lead to death threats; meaning that if we let it go for a bit, the place isn't likely to fall apart. Issues that need instant moderator attention (I.e. something that isn't general clean up) need their own threads, if nothing else just so that we become aware of it faster. If I'm just checking Moderation a new thread will catch my eye quicker than the reporting one.

It was hard to find because we haven't needed this thread in nearly a year. The linked Megathreads are almost always on page one or two of Moderation, so this thread is superfluous.

It's also right at the top of the page. Locking this duplicate.
