Preamble:

We, the Socialist Society, are united here, under one banner, one name, as a brotherhood of Communist and or socialist nations. We at the Socialist Society accept any and all forms of communism and socialism, except more politically right socialism, such as forms of Fascist/Conservative government forms; and we are dedicated to prosper economically from our brothers.

Article I, Paragraph I - The Manifesto

As a brotherhood of Socialism, our primary goal is the preservation of Socialism. To that end, we stand together to the very last, aiding each other in any way necessary or possible. We wish no harm upon other nations, rather we believe that together we stand, divided we fall. The leadership of the Socialist Society has proven time and time again that united we are invincible, in this sense, we will always be united by similar, if not the same views.

Article I, Paragraph II- Our Aims

The aims of the Socialist Society are:
To forge a strong brotherhood;
To establish new allies.
To establish a brotherhood capable of upholding values of socialism and/or communism, and to protect the sovereign rights of our socialist brothers, whilst at the same time, maintaining the values that unite us.
To preserve all forms of socialism and/or communism through a strong network of alliances.
We mainly hope to form a bond between nations, unbreakable, unfathomable in its strength, to hold up against the test of time, through any and all event which may jeopardize the brotherhood, and to prevail.

Article I, Paragraph III- Applications & Membership

Membership is not easy to come by, it is a rigorous process and isn't for everyone; all application forms are voted upon by the current full members of the brotherhood (full members are members recognised by the Rank 1 members) and must receive majority vote by said members. Each rank of the roster can hold up to three members, and once filled, new members will be placed in the rank lower than the previously filled rank. There are some special exceptions to this, and these exceptions can only be recognized by a rank 1 member. Rank 1 members are appointed by other rank 1 members, and there is no limit on the number of possible members in rank 1. Labour members are members who have gotten themselves stripped of rank, usually following an offense. If an applicant has been denied entry into The Socialist Society, they may not apply again for a week.

Article I, Paragraph IV - Leadership

The leaders are those in the Rank 1 category, and the only way a Rank of 1 can be achieved is to be awarded it by one of the other rank 1 members, for an outstanding contribution to the brotherhood, or for some reason of a similar magnitude. Leadership promotions remove the nation from its current rank and position and moves it up to the Rank of 1. The Founders wield the ability to veto any promotions offered by the other leadership.

Article II, Paragraph I - Requirements For Joining

In order for you to be accepted into the Society, you must be a Socialist and or communist.You must also be deemed powerful enough and influential enough to be a useful asset to The Socialist Society. You may not be that of a facist or nazi government. Also members of The Socialist Society must be stable governments, and must not pose a threat to The Socialist Society.

Rules of The Thread (If you have a rule suggestion, please telegram it to Milograd)

1. Outsiders are Welcome
We are actually pretty cool people, and our thread is open to anyone, as long as they do not spam and have a reason for posting on our thread. If you have applied to the Society, you should post on the thread. However, we much prefer that our IRC is used instead of the main thread for random chat. However, if you are not a member of The Socialist Society, please treat members of the Society as your "superiors" when posting on our thread, as a form of respect...pretty much don't talk down to members if you are a non-member.

2. Don't Bump The Thread
Please don't bump the thread, its unnecessary. At least try to disguise a bump by posting several lines about something, but making the post serve as a bump.

3. Don't Recruit for Unrelated Things in Our Thread
Please don't post in our thread regarding recruitments for alliances/organizations/pacts/rp groups in our thread. Don't post recruitments for your region. It isn't welcomed nor is it wanted.

4. Don't do anything that is Banned by The Rules of Nationstates
This is rather simple, go read the One Stop Rules Shop, and anything that is deemed punishable there, please do not do on our thread. This Means don't spam,flame,troll, post links to pornography, and everything of the sort.

5. Applications
Please, we took the time to make an official format for the applications...please use it. Click the code spoiler at the top of the application post and copy it, and then paste and fill it out where necessary. This, rule will not be enforced, but it is preferred. Please don't post anything like "O hai guise Can I IZ join?" or "I would like to join...add me to your roster.", you will be ignored. Also, just as a reminder, you may re-apply applications, but only 2 weeks after your original application was submitted.

The presence of another Socialist international organization is perturbing for us. Socialists are inherently violent in their endeavors for power, and as such, the formation of an organized international force under the banner of Socialism is a direct contention to the security of the Federation, and therefore, the government is required by Section 7 of the Third Federal National Defense Act to pursue any and all means deemed suitable to eliminate this endangerment to the State, people, and livelihood of our nation.

However, military action can be avoided if the Socialist Society disbands immediately upon receiving this message, and the Milograd Government permits Federal Guardsmen (Carabinieris, mainly) and the Commissione per la Vigilanza e la Repressione dell'Antifascismo to enter and observe the functioning of the Socialist State, so as to ensure no threat is being presented to our national sovereignty.

We can assure you, disbanding is a far better option than continuing to threaten us with murder, slavery, and pillaging.

[OOC]Would I be able to apply for some sort of 'Overseer' Status - as I'm playing a major part in the changes in Sibero-Russia. So I'm just watching Siberia and its actions - in a good way - but I'm not an actual member of the Society.

Probably, yes. I think it'd come under Rank 3 or 4.

So, your nation now comes into presence once again. After disturbing many organisations against your nation's ideologies, your nation doesn't realize that it needs to stop. One group after another, you guys don't seem to end this insane thinking of policing NS. And while our nation is opposed to their ideals, at the least we do not use military power for pre-emptive purposes. We know why by looking in between the lines.

Please, just stop this kind of foolish behavior upon the world and war could all be avoided, billions could stop being spent on something so unnecessary and could be used on something better, like giving it to the taxpayers, or spending it on where they actually want it, not on where you guys want it.
