Ñastiran - Esperanza Descansa (تقع الأمل)

Esperanza Descansa (Spanish for; "Hope Rests") is the capitol and center for cultural heritige of Ñastiran. It started as a large camp for Latin-American and Arabic refuges, where their cultures mixed and melded. In 1988, the camp was transformed from anarchy, to a sound goverment by Avíl Ñamos. The camp was soon transformed into a permanent place of residence, and the capitol of the newly formed nation; 'Ñastiran'.

Esperanza Descansa has two main sections. The first is the goverment/cultural area, where the capitol building resides, along with a few homes for goverment workers on the outskirts, and buidlings of cultural signifigance. Then there is the downtown area, with many state-owned houses for the commoners, and a few local, goverment-sanctioned restraunts.

Esperanza Descansa is one of the only cities left in Ñastiran that is still in the traditinol style buildings, every other city is very modernized, with sleek black buildings and streets and neon lights. Not to mention the smoke that blocks out all natural light.

West Capital was built during the reign of Dazcha the Incompetent, after some ill-chosen words resulted in 76% of the population seceding and forming their own nation. As the original capital was located within this new territory, a new capital was needed.

West Capital is built in a star formation, on the mistaken belief that because capital cities are always shown by a star on the map, capital cities must be star-shaped. In the centre of the star is West Dazcha Palace, the current residence of His Excellency Dazcha VII. The five "points" of the city are marked with bridges, an unusual feature in a nation that has no significant bodies of water.

The single largest city in the nation, Mega-City Alpha contains nearly two-thirds of the nation's population. The next largest concentration is Mega-City Beta, with one-quarter of the population. Mega-City Alpha often suffers from crime problems, but continuously providing paying jobs by constantly building upwards and a well-funded police force help combat this.
