<Full IC Nation Name>
Color-codes indicate the levels of Imports/Demand for a product. This demand should reflect the desire or need for imports of said item
None - There is no demand for this item, importing this item will be nearly impossible.
Very Low - There is very little demand for import of this item. While deals can be made, the seller is at a severe disadvantage.
Low - There is a marginally increased demand for this item, however most imports will be either one-time deals, or very low volume deals.
Moderate - There is a fairly steady demand for this item. Merchants can be fairly confident in trying to import this item.
High - This item is in nearly constant, heavy demand. Any merchant attempting to import this item can make good profit.
These two tags are optional.
Illegal/Banned - This indicates this product or service is banned from imports/exports, and may be illegal in this nation. Illegal or banned items may still have a local demand, but smugglers may face penalties if caught.
Permit Required - This indicates trade of this product is regulated, and requires a permit from the local government. Trade without a permit is deemed illegal, and smugglers may face penalties if caught.

Also, it seems everyone, has come up with there own format. Their are at least four different types of format between all the entries so far.

A fairly wide category, but I wasn't getting a lot of help when I was still working on the list before starting this thread.
Okay, he's what I would suggest. Use the periodic tables. You remember collage, right?
Divisions are as follows;
Non-Metals -
Alkali Metals -
Base Metals -
Transition Metals -
Alkali Earth Metals -
Rare Earth Metals -
Halogens -
Noble gases -
For "stony" or crystalline materials I would use the term "Silicates" which fits well. Although you might leave an entry for exotic crystals or some such.Morningstar Coalition wrote:As for elements and compounds, the first refers to purified or refined elements alone, while compounds would be any mixture of different elements. Again separated by natural states as gases, metals, minerals, etc.
otherwise known as alloys.Morningstar Coalition wrote:Crap, just realized that I've totally missed liquids.
Water, Superfliuds and deuterium should cover "liquids".Morningstar Coalition wrote:As for formats, that was a fuckup on my part. I started the thread with one format, changed it slightly for clarity and to make it easier to fill out, and experimented with a third format. The third format (which I use for my personal report) didn't get much support, so I scrapped it in favor of the format currently used by the template. By this point several people had already filled out their reports, and told me politely they had no intention of changing their submissions. I wasn't interested in pressing the issue.
I suppose its fine as it is then.Morningstar Coalition wrote:Anything else?
