Do Not Adjust Your Sets

After a month of beta and over 500 forum posts, the new theme is moving to default! This means the site looks confrontingly modern for anyone who hasn't been playing around with their Theme selector lately.

If the new look stirs within you a wild fury, don't fear! You can select "Antiquity" in your Settings for that old-school feel. Or visit us via http://antiquity.nationstates.net.

The login/logout buttons are up the top right. I put that in bold because after eight years you get used to things. We haven't removed the ability to log out. That would be cruel to your families.

This is a big change and I bet we broke a bunch of stuff. Please report any bugs you notice and we'll get those straightened out over the next few days. Expect things to move around a little.

I love it, it's so fricking amazing. Haven't noticed any bugs yet though.

One small thing to report. The logout button works fine, except for when I'm in the forum.

If I try to log out while I'm in the forum this message comes up:

You were not logged out, as the request did not match your session. Please contact the board administrator if you continue to experience problems.

Uh... I liked it... until I got a problem.
It appears as though my flag had been cut off a bit... now, I didn't mind/care about that... until it quadrupled it size of course.

I would post the picture itself, but it's too large.
This only happens when I am in the forums. Any other part of the site has a normal sized flag...

EDIT: Also, I can not logout of my nation from the forums.

Whenever I try to logout of the nation I'm using at that moment and I'm browsing the forum, it gives me a report telling me I was not logged out, and the only way I can log out is if I use the switch button or revisit my nation page. A bug associated with the new look?

It's related in that it crops up whenever I update the forum, but not otherwise connected to the theme change.

I like the new look personally, but I did just start, so I wasn't really all to used to the last theme. Deffinitly perfer this one over the other.

All in all I like it. The grey on the side where all the game options are is a little annoying, but that's probably just because I'm not used to it, I'm sure I'll adjust. Otherwise I think it's nice.

Both actually. The game and the forum are both green, so that's way too much green. Maybe change the colors of the forums, so that things are less green?

Nice change from all the blue and grey forums out there.

To me, the green is what helps the place stand out.

I like how I can switch between the century theme and 'antiquity', but there should definitely be an option to do the really old theme.
