1. Introduction

Postby Yohannes » Wed Dec 08, 2010 1:59 am

The Kingdom of Yohannes (German: Königreich von Yohannes, French: Le royaume de Yohannes, Italian: Il regno di Yohannes), commonly known as Yohannes and nationally known as Kerajaan Yohannes is a sovereign state and an island nation, located off the northwestern coast of Europa. It is a constituent nation and a part of the Empire of Anagonia-Yohannes [Source 8] [Source 11]. It is surrounded by the Storm Ocean and Kosscow Sea to the north, by the nation of Tagmatium to the east, and by the nation of Machina Haruspex to the south across the Steiner Channel. Its territory covers an area of 704,981 km2 and its climate is that of the continental temperate climate.

The Kingdom of Yohannes has approximately 1.344 billion inhabitants [Source 1], of which approximately 61% of its population are that of the Javanese descent. The Kingdom of Yohannes was preceded by the Indonesian Empire of Yohannes as a result of its defeat in the hand of the coalition of Terra Nova alliance led by Holy Roman Confederate and New Urcea in 2004. As a result of the ensuing armistice that followed the defeat of the empire, the imperial system was officially abolished and the then-Emperor was de-throned from power, leading to the establishment of the current kingdom led by a designated King of Yohannes.

The Kingdom of Yohannes is a socially progressive nation, classified officially by the World Assembly as a nation with a Civil Rights Lovefest governmental category [Source 8], where the majority of Yohannesians hold their civil and political rights dearly, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

The Kingdom of Yohannes is a Constitutional Monarchy and a Federal Parliamentary Democracy. It is a sovereign state consisting of five constituent countries, the Grand Duchy of Jawa, Duchy of Sumatra, Sulawesi, Principality of Irian, and the Grand Earldom of Bali. The Kingdom of Yohannes is governed by a Federal Parliamentary System, led by a Head of Government designated as the First Minister with an official title of The Right Honourable (TRH) and a figurative and largely ceremonial and decorative Head of State designated as the King of Yohannes with an official title of His Royal Majesty. The seat of government of the Kingdom is located in Jakarta, the capital city of the Kingdom and simultaneously that of the Grand Duchy of Java.

The Kingdom of Yohannes is a social market and developed nation. Its per capita income of $42,940 [Source 1] is the largest in Europa [Source 1], and the nation has developed a high standard of living together with a deeply-ingrained system of social welfare. It has a Purchasing Power Parity of approximately $57.711 trillion [Source 1] and a nominal GDP of $111.307 trillion [Source 1].

The Kingdom of Yohannes is home to the world's largest stock exchange [Source 2], the world's second largest banking institution [Source 3], and the world's third largest banking and financial institution [Source 4]. Yohannes also has a large account balances as a percentage of Gross Domestic Product due to its position as a major global financial and banking centre [Source 2] [Source 3] [Source 4], a reputation the nation has acquired since the late 19th century. The Kingdom of Yohannes is a part of a supranational dual imperial sovereignty led by both the kingdom of Yohannes and the Confederate States of Anagonia known as the Empire of Anagonia-Yohannes [Source 8].

The Kingdom of Yohannes is a member of the advisory council of the League of Imperial Nations, and a member nation of the International Space Association, Ryberg Institute of Mutual Trade, and Nuclear Arms Assembly. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Yohannes maintains over 154 foreign embassies [Source 9] within its border.

Yohannes is located in the northwestern part of Europa, with its territory covering 704,981 km2, of which 661,977 km2 are land and 43,004 km2 are water. Yohannes shares maritime border to the east with the nation of Tagmatium and Tal Shiar, and maritime border to the south with the nation of Machina Haruspex. The geographical terrain component in majority of Yohannes is flat, mostly to the north, with a somewhat hilly terrain more or less around the central area of the nation due to the allocation of Gunung Merapi, and a plainy region further in its southern area. Yohannes's coastline in length is 51,652 km (32,092 mi).

Image
The climate of Yohannes is that of the temperate climate zone. Winters are not that particularly cold in Yohannes, with the general mean temperatures in January and February at 0.1 °C. The summers particularly, are comparatively cool with a general mean temperature around August and September of 15.9 °C. Due to Yohannes's geographical proximity and location in Europa, the length of sunlight during the day varies greatly. Short days of which sunrise comes around 8:30am and sunset at 3:30pm can generally be found upon, while the opposite of a long summer days of which the sunrise comes at around 4:30am and sunset at 10pm can be found upon as well. As a part of the national tradition and cultural celebration, the longest and shortest day are celebrated upon, with the name of "Hari Dari Tuhan", which literally in translation means "The Day From Heaven (or God)."

Yohannes, with its consecutive ruling government in office, has generally taken a long and historical strong stance against the destructiveness inflicted upon nature by polluting entity, whether it be industries or resource exploitation. In 2001 the Kingdom of Yohannes established a Ministry of Domestic Environment, which was tasked with the prevention of the degradation in terms of flora and fauna of the collective biological array of living species within the territory of the Kingdom of Yohannes. With the establishment and ramification of the Responsibility Environmental Act of July 2009, the burden of environmental preservation has been in general transferred to each individual entity of various commercial and industrial organisation in conjunction to the territorial area of the Kingdom the said entity wishes to traversed and explored upon.
Image
This meant that the burden of environmental preservation in terms of finance has mostly been transferred to the private sectors, with a huge reducement of corporate and commercial tax and various environmental subsidies being given as an incentive to any industries or commerce entities to further improve and increase their environmental practise standard in order to reach the goal of the preservation of the Kingdom's flora and fauna as much as possible.

The Kingdom of Yohannes comprises of five constituent countries, which are further sub-divided into 38 districts. These five constituent countries are the Grand Duchy of Jawa, Duchy of Sumatra, Sulawesi, Principality of Irian, and the Grand Earldom of Bali. Each constituent countries has their own official priviledge upon the maintenance of their respective country's district administration, education, and social welfare system, albeit largely sub-ordinated more or less to the federal government, which in this case constitute officially in name as the Federal Government of the Kingdom.

Since the unification of Yohannes as a single national and political entity in 1987, an economic expansion based on the economic principle of social market economy has geared the national economic growth in terms of true gross domestic product and real purchasing power parity. Preceded by mostly a diversed and decentralised systems by each of the independent duchies and various monarchic states that made up today's Yohannes. Even under these difficult conditions, these monarchies has developed a comparatively strong economies, with a specialisation towards the finance and exchange sectors of the global economies and trade. Following its unification in 1987, the economy of yohannes flourished and boomed, thus establishing the precedence of the consecutive stock and market crashes of the late 1990s due to over-speculation and an excessive and de-regulated monetary and fiscal policy of the Federal Government of the Kingdom and the majority of private businesses in general.

Image
As of 2010 the official exchange economy of the Kingdom of Yohannes is $100.611 trillion [Source 1], while its Purchasing Power Parity stands at $57.711 trillion [Source 1]. The service sectors contributes an approximate 72.4% of the total GDP by PPP, with that of the industries at 26.6% and agriculture at 1%. The average national unemployment rate of the kingdom stands at 2.56% [Source 1]. Most of Yohannes's export industries are in the field of engineering [Source 5], monetary finance [Source 2], and banking [Source 3][Source 4]. The total export value of the kingdom in 2010 is approximately $6.295 trillion [Source 6], while the import value stand at a value of $6.761 trillion [Source 6], thus creating a trade deficit balance in 2010 of approximately $66.698 billion [Source 6]. Two decades since its unification as a single national and political entity, the average living standard and per capita income of Yohannesians stand at approximately $42,940 [Source 1], one of its trace as one of the advanced economic nation in terms of its high standard of living.

Today, the Kingdom of Yohannes is a regulated social market economy, although in recent years the economy has been intermingled in general with the recent government's trend of market liberalisation and the lowering of previous market regulation. The Reserve Bank of Indonesia, headed by Governor John Cregten, is the responsible body of monetary authority and has the right of monopoly to distribute the flow of Yohannesian Rupiah, the official currency of the Kingdom and its Dominion of Anagonia and Mindemoya, lifting various trade barriers and simultaneously uniting the three economies as one economy of a single national entity. The Kingdom of Yohannes has recorded a 2010 government debt of approximately 65% of its GDP in terms of total debt with that of public debt of 2010. The inflation rate set by the Reserve Bank of Indonesia for 2010 is 2.5%.

According to most major finance and banking observers the Kingdom of Yohannes has a flexible labour market and low level of corruption.
Image
Through the influence and wealth channeled by utilising the kingdom's central banking and monetary authority through the Reserve Bank of Indonesia, the second largest banking institution in the world and its strategic partnership with the nation of Lyras's Lambda Financial, the largest financial institution in the world, the Kingdom of Yohannes has the ability to project its economic influence overseas with ease. With its economic projects and partnership throughout various nations globally, such as Charlotte Ryberg (Minoa), New Azura, Honourable Angels, Anagonia, and Itinerate Tree Dweller (United Roman Empire).

Yohannes is a nation with a deeply ingrained finance and banking sectors within its economy. It is known internationally as the "regional finance and banking merchant". The stock exchange of the Kingdom of Yohannes, the Indonesian Empire Stock Exchange, is the largest in the world. The Kingdom of Yohannes also is the headquarter of both the second largest banking institution in the world, the Reserve Bank of Indonesia, and the third largest banking institution in the world, the EAGLE Financial Trust & Exchange, formerly owned by the government of New Azura and was sold to the Kingdom of Yohannes in 2010. The Indonesian Empire Stock Exchange is the financial and monetary credit authority of over fourty international corporations and firms globally, ranging from prestigious defence and military firms such as Universal Defense Inc., to established and renown civilian manufacturing company such as Forza Automotive. The Reserve Bank of Indonesia is simultaneously the second largest banking institution in the world, while being the central banking and monetary authority of the Kingdom of Yohannes, with multiple multi-trillion's worth of investment projects overseas throughout various nations such as Anagonia, New Azura, and Honourable Angels. The Yohannesian Rupiah (¥) is the official currency of the Kingdom of Yohannes and is worth ¥1 = $1.9237 [Source 1] at present.

The railway network of the Kingdom of Yohannes, which stretches 30,637 kilometres (19,037 mi) is one of the extensive network in Europa. The main operator of the Kingdom's railway network is the RKNKI (Indonesian : Organisasi Rel Kereta Nasional Kerajaan Yohannes, which stand for the National Railway Organisation of the Kingdom of Yohannes), a state and nationally-owned company based in Jakarta, the Grand Duchy of Java. It is operated with high-speed trains such as the ML550-SS, the MTR9 DMU, and the MTR8 EMU. Rail connections exists to all of the kingdom's neighbouring nations, and most of the internal urban transport system within the kingdom are well-complemented with technologically up-to-date underground services and tramway services which are further supported by a centrally-planned bus service. The Kingdom of Yohannes's national airline (together with Anagonia and Mindemoya) is Indonesia Imperial Airlines (IIA), and Jakarta International Airport is the kingdom's largest international airport. Expenditure in 2010 by the government towards Public Transport was approximately ¥822 billion [Source 1], equal to that of over $1.583 trillion if converted to Universal Standard Dollar, a total of 1.4% of Yohannes's current GDP.

There are approximately 1,073,056 kilometres (666,778 mi) of serviceable roadway network in Yohannes. The most dense road network is that of the Grand Duchy of Java's roads, with its capital Jakarta having one of the most extensive road network in Europa. The position of the Kingdom of Yohannes as a regional and international finance and banking capital contributed to the fact that substantial daily traffic were held by various major roads within Yohannes, connecting the Kingdom to its neighbouring cities and national sovereignties.
Image
There is no road tax or any form of annual registration transportation fee. The car market within the Kingdom of Yohannes is dominated by the Kingdom's domestic Mont Blanc Automotive and various international major automobile brands such as VLT Automotive Group, Forza Automotive, and Bretton Automotive.

The Kingdom of Yohannes is a strong advocate of globalisation and the increasing correlation of international credit and goods. Due to the strength of its national currency, its leading position as the finance and banking centre of the world, and the high value of the wealth per capita, the Kingdom of Yohannes is a profitable and is one of the developed economies where its population and wealth allow foreign and multi-national companies abroad to establish themselves structurally within the nation. A few examples of foreign-based multi-national companies that has established its branches and has included the Kingdom of Yohannes as a source of profitable market are BergBucks Coffee Inc., Quendi-Malascene Oil United, Forza Automotive, VLT Automotive Group, Bretton Automotive, and Zastava Energy & Oil Inc.

4. History

Postby Yohannes » Wed Dec 08, 2010 2:03 am

The name of 'Yohannes' derived from the Kingdom of Java's ancient mythology of the Indonesian land goddess Yohana. There are multiple theories as to the origin of the name, and as to why it was translated and interpreted into that of a masculine sounding name, resulting in the name of Yohannes. However, the origin of why the people that inhabit the Kingdom of Yohannes in majority today are called Yohannesian is unknown, with the exception that the national identity of what constitute as a Yohannesian was emerging most apparently around the late 13th century, during the height of the Age of Crisis, a period where internal disputes and casus-belli inflicted conflicts rampaged its indestructible effect throughout medieval Yohannes, then only a collection of various independent monarchies, ranging from small kingdoms to duchies ruling only two to three cities at most. The Duchy of Java, the precedence of today's Grand Duchy of Java, the main equilibrium of the Kingdom of Yohannes, was then small in size and strature.

Historically recorded however, was the fact that the Duchy of Java reached its political height in the late 1760s beyond its neighbours expectations, quadrupling in territorial size and demographic census as a result of multiple acquisitions ill-gotten through royal conflicts, external war, and royal marriages. By the start of the 20th century, the Duchy of Java has become the dominant force within the region of Indonesia, a reflection to its diplomatic upgrade of political status to that of a kingdom.

Image
During the late 20th century Yohannesian nationalism rapidly shifted from its liberal and democratic character in 1948, called Pan-Indonesianism to Javanese first minister Donata Setyoutomo’s "Javanism". Donata sought to extend the Kingdom of Java's hegemony throughout the Indonesian states; to do so meant unification of the Indonesian states and the elimination of Yohannes’s rival, Manifests, from the subsequent empire. He envisioned a conservative, Javanese-dominated federation of kingdom.

Three wars led to military successes and helped to persuade the various Indonesian states to unite under the banner of the Kingdom of Java: the Second War of Riau against Mindemoya in 1982, the Manifest-Javanese War against Manifests in 1984 and the Jonre-Javanese War against Jonre in 1986-87. During the Siege of Surabaya in 1987, the western Indonesian states, supported by its Indonesian allies from outside of the west alliance (excluding Manifests), formed the Unitary Indonesian Empire with the proclamation of the Javanese king Hamengkubuwono I of Yohannes as Indonesian Emperor.

The Indonesian Emperor (Indonesian: Kaisar orang Indonesia) was the official title of the Head of State and ruler of the Indonesian Empire of Yohannes, beginning with the proclamation of Hamengkubuwono I as emperor on 8 April 1987 at the VOC Palace.

The title "Indonesian Emperor" was carefully chosen by first minister Donata Setyoutomo after discussion until (and after) the day of the proclamation.
Image
Hamengkubuwono I of Java-Yohannes accepted this title grudgingly as he would have preferred "Emperor of Indonesia" which was however, unacceptable to the federated monarchs, and would also have signalled a claim to lands outside of his reign within the region of Indonesia (Mindemoya, Manifests, Jonre etc.). The title Emperor of the Indonesians, as proposed in 1987, was ruled out as he considered himself chosen "By the Grace of God", not by the people as in a democratic republic.

Donata himself prepared a broad outline - the 1984 West Indonesian Constitution, which became the 1987 Imperial Constitution with some adjustments. The empire acquired some democratic features. The new empire had a parliament with two houses. The lower house, or Parlemen Elektif, was elected by a comprehensive universal voting system throughout the empire. However, the original constituencies drawn in 1987 were never redrawn to reflect the growth of urban areas. As a result, by the time of the great expansion of Yohannesian cities in the 2000s and 2010s, rural areas were grossly overrepresented.

Image
Following the defeat of the Indonesian Empire in the hand of the coalition of nations led by New Urcea and Holy Roman Confederate in the Terra Novan Regional War of 2006, the Indonesian Empire was disbanded as a political entity, and the then emperor of the Indonesian Empire, Emperor Rajino Hamengkubuwono I was dethroned from power. The House of Hamengkubuwono was consequently and simultaneously reduced in status to that from an 'Imperial and Royal House' to a 'Royal House' personification. Following the conclusion of the armistice and surrender of Yohannes, the son of Rajino Hamengkubuwono, Chandra Hamengkubuwono became the new cerenomial Head of State of the newly designated Kingdom of Yohannes, with the official title of 'King of Yohannes'. Consequently following the abolishment of the imperial government, the political name of the Empire was changed to that of a kingdom. As a result, the Kingdom of Java was abolished as a political entity, and become the today's Grand Duchy of Java within the Kingdom of Yohannes.

Following the agreement of the Imperial and Confederacy Compromise of 2010, signed by the President of the Confederate States of Anagonia, Jason Paladin, and the then Emperor of the Indonesian Empire of Yohannes, Rajino Hamengkubuwono I, the Dual-Empire, also known as the Empire of Anagonia-Yohannes was officially proclaimed as a single national entity. With a national Gross Domestic Product and Purchasing Power Parity of approximately $524.240 trillion [source 10] [source 1], the largest trading centre and stock exchange globally [Source 2], the second largest banking authorities in the world [Source 3], and a total demographical population of approximately 14.258 billion [source 10] [source 1], the Dual Empire is a moderately-sized economic and socio-political powerhouse.

Following the establishment and major ramification of the former Imperial Constitution of 1987, a new Royal Constitution of 2006 was put in place. In it, the monarch is not answerable for any of their actions, and their right as a sovereign ruler is held sacrosant. Within the Royal Constitution, the monarch has the priviledge to officially appoints and dismisses First Minister, Head of Government of the Federal Government of the Kingdom. The Right Honourable title of the appointed First Minister is then consolidated by democratic and representative negotiations with members of the Federal Parliament, especially those of the Royal Senate, or Lower House of Parliament.

Image
The current Head of State of the Kingdom of Yohannes is His Royal Majesty Chandra Hamengkubuwono of the Dinasti Royal Hamengkubuwono (House of Hamengkubuwono), formally and officially recognised as HRM Rajino Hamengkubuwono II, King of Yohannes. Due to the intrinsic nature of the Imperial and Confederacy Compromise of 2010 concluded between the sovereign nation-state of Anagonia and the Kingdom of Yohannes, the King do in most occassion put towards the end of his title, 'Emperor of Anagonia', although these are done mostly in times when needed most urgently to show the dominance and extend of the political entity and royal authority of His Royal Majesty himself. The Royal Constitution of 2006 is officially the joint-constitution of the five constituent countries within the Kingdom of Yohannes, with that of the Imperial and Confederacy Constitution to be applied only when needed, as to the ease of combining the demographic total population, economic, and military capabilities of both Anagonia and Yohannes together into a single nation-state, internationally and officially known as the Empire of Anagonia-Yohannes.

The First Minister is the Head of Government of the Federal Government of the Kingdom. The position belongs to any member of the Federal Parliament who can obtain the formal vote of confidence of at least 50% of the Royal Senate (Lower House of Parliament).
Image
The cabinet of the federal government is then drawn from the First Minister's official registered political party, with certain exception made sometimes regarding the status and influence exerted by a certain party according to the respective circumstances. The current First Minister of the Federal Government of the Kingdom is the Member of Parliament (MP) Ceara Bickerton, The Right Honourable (TRH). Her terms will end in 08 September 2012.

The three main political parties of the Kingdom of Yohannes are the Liberal Conservative Party, Christian Democratic Party, and Yohannessian National Party. The Liberal Conservative Party led by the current First Minister The Right Honourable Ceara Bickerton is the current majority party and is the current government ruling party of the Kingdom of Yohannes. The Liberal Conservative Party adopted a more pragmatic approach towards conservatism within the general principle of politics and economics, with a continuation of the social market economic policies put in place by the previous ruling governments. The Christian Democratic Party is a Christian-based political party, applying the principles of 'Christian Democracy', the restriction of illegal immigration. The Christian Democratic Party is an advocate of a more liberal approach, applied only to native Yohannesians, and not to foreigners in general.
Image
The main political agenda and framework of the Christian Democratic Party are the restriction of non-Yohannesians and colour-bar of immigration, the restriction of official inter-marriage of non-Yohannesians and ethnic Yohannesians, especially that of female Yohannesians with that of a male of foreign ethnic origin. The Yohannesian Party, despite its name, is a more liberal political party than the Christian Democratic Party, and is currently the third largest political party in Yohannes.

The constituent countries of Sumatra, Sulawesi, Irian, and Bali each has its own government or executive authority. The largest constituent country within the Kingdom of Yohannes is the Grand Duchy of Jawa, and it has no government or executive authority of its own, with its government being that of the Federal Government of the Kingdom in itself. With approximately 57% of the total population of the Kingdom, this situation has balanced the otherwise improbably unbalanced situation had the Grand Duchy of Jawa has its own government, there by replacing any anxiety in part of the smaller constitutent countries which will lead to the rise of secessionist in general.

As stated within the Royal Constitution of 2006, the Kingdom of Yohannes does not have a single stratified legal system since it was technically formed as a federated union of five previously independent and sovereign countries. Constructing a single Federal Legal System would therefore violate the sovereignties of each constituent countries within the Kingdom, as stated under the Royal Charter of 1991, which guaranteed explicitly the sovereign rights of each of the constituent countries of the Kingdom. Therefore, today the Kingdom of Yohannes has an official six distinct laws; that of the Grand Duchy of Jawa, Duchy of Sumatra, Duchy of Sulawesi, Principality of Irian, Grand Earldom of Bali, and a separate confederate constitution of that of the Confederate States of Anagonia. The main essence of each of these laws were that, subject to statutory prohibition, each of the laws were established and would be established and created by each Head Judges of the respective court.
Image
The Courts of all the five monarchy states are headed by the Senior Courts of the Federation, consisting of the Royal Courts of Appeal, the Royal Justice Court, and the Federation Crown Court. The Confederate States of Anagonia has its own distinctive set of courts, a mark of its sovereign rights as a member of the federation of Kingdom.

The Kingdom of Yohannes is a part of the Empire of Anagonia-Yohannes, a dual monarchy nation-state and commonwealth of nations led by Anagonia and Yohannes. Both the Kingdom of Yohannes and Confederate States of Anagonia has equal representation and jurisdictional power within the Dual-Empire, and the Commonwealth of nations headed by both the Dual Empire as a whole.

The Kingdom of Yohannes is a member of the League of Imperial Nations, currently holding a seat within the advisory council of the alliance. It is also an organisational member of the Ryberg Institute of Mutual Trade, International Space Association, and Nuclear Arms Assembly. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Yohannes maintains over 154 foreign embassies [Source 9] within its border.

The most recent official census that occurs simultaneously throughout the Kingdom of Yohannes indicated that the total population of the Kingdom of Yohannes was 1,343,913,079. As of 2006, net migration overtook natural population growth as the main contributor of population growth for the first time, indicating the attraction of the abundant opportunities the economy of Yohannes presented to migrants from various underdeveloped and third world nations. The population of the Grand Duchy of Jawa is estimated to be 836,258,088. The Grand Duchy of Jawa is the most densely populated of all the other constituent countries of the Kingdom, with exception of that of the Confederate States of Anagonia outside Yohannesian proper. The estimation of the total population of the Duchy of Sumatra was 229,326,289, Sulawesi 173,126,433, Principality of Irian 80,933,118, and Grand Earldom of Bali 24,269,151. The capitals of each constituent countries of are Jakarta (Grand Duchy of Jawa, also the capital of the Kingdom of Yohannes), Lampung (Duchy of Sumatra), Yogyakarta (Duchy of Sulawesi), Cibaru (Principality of Irian), and Bali (Grand Earldom of Bali). The largest cities within the kingdom are Jakarta (Grand Duchy of Jawa), Banten (Grand Duchy of Jawa), Lampung (Duchy of Sumatra), and Surabaya (Duchy of Sulawesi).

Historically, indigenous Yohannesians were descendants of the ancient Javanese and Terra Novan stocks. Beside the indigenous and local population, there are a significant amount of citizens of non-Yohannesians colour and stock within the Kingdom of Yohannes. These non-Yohannesians in terms of skin colour were the result of the recent trend of mass-immigration coming from various foreign population of third world and underdeveloped economies searching for a better life in Yohannes. The current ruling government adopted a strict policy of non-Yohannesian immigration, implementing a policy of "Yohannesian stock only". Certain exception are however, made upon those that has a record of advanced tertiary education and technological experience in the field of science, engineering, and commerce.

Image
The largest group of religion within the Kingdom of Yohannes is that of Roman Catholicism, with various branches of Reformed Christianity coming in second, and Protestand third. The Roman Catholic Church retains an official representation within the Parliament of the Federal Government of the Kingdom, and the Monarch of Yohannes is, under the Royal Constitution of 2006, a part of the Roman Catholic Church, together with the associated ruling house of the monarch. As of 2007, there were approximately 103,080,029 Muslims in the constituent country of Jawa, or the Grand Duchy of Jawa. Muslims within the rest of the constituent countries numbered 991,083 in total. According to the most recent statistic established by the Royal Government of the Kingdom, 57% of Muslim youths were a participant of various youth crimes and other misnominer within the society, reinforcing the local Yohannesian image of the 'Mohammed barbarians just across our yards.'

Successive ruling governments of Yohannes since its unification as a single national entity in 1987 has placed education as one of the most important in establishing a successful national entity. Education within the Kingdom of Yohannes is mostly a devolved and decentralised matter, with each constituent country having their own set of education system. In the Grand Duchy of Jawa, education is the responsibility of the His Majesty's Board of Education Authority, nationally known as HM Board of Education. Primary to secondary education are free-of-charge for Javanese students, with that of Private institutions receiving over 35% educational subsidy. Entry into any Tertiary educational institutions such as universities, polytechnics, etc. will require a tuition fee within the range of ¥1,500-6,500, depending on the individual subjects and field of higher learning. The reason tuition costs are so low and affordable is due to the fact that the value of Yohannesian Rupiah, the currency of the Kingdom of Yohannes, is comparatively high to that of the international standard currency, the Universal Standard Dollar, with 1 Yohannesian Rupiah equals to over more than 1.9 Universal Standard Dollar, with various governmental subsidies for students achieving over-the-top accomplishment and achievement within their respective field of study.
Image
A similar characteristic can be found within the other constituent countries, with the exception of that tertiary education facilities are provided free-of-charge and the existence of a compulsory educational study until the age of 19. In 2010 the Federal Government of the Kingdom spent over ¥4.727 trillion on education [Source 1], equal to that of over $9.105 trillion if converted to Universal Standard Dollar, a total of 8.2% of Yohannes's current GDP.

In contrast to education, healthcare in the Kingdom of Yohannes is centralised and the healthcare and social welfare departments of each of the constituent countries are insubordinated to that of the Federal Government's Ministry of Health and Welfare. The government provide free-of-charge healthcare service for all Yohannesians, including foreign citizens with Yohannesian permanent residency. The welfare system within the Kingdom of Yohannes is universal. Extensive healthcare and social welfare system ensure a relatively high minimum of living standard for all Yohannesians regardless of their economic nor social class situation. Expenditure in 2010 by the government towards Healthcare and Social Welfare was approximately ¥4.932 trillion [Source 1], equal to that of over $9.501 trillion if converted to Universal Standard Dollar, a total of 8.6% of Yohannes's current GDP.

The Empire of Anagonia-Yohannes or Indo-Anagonian Empire, also known as the Dual Empire, is an imperial union between the crowns of the Indonesian Empire of Yohannes in Europa and the sovereignty of Anagonia in Tyrrhenia. The union was a result of the Imperial and Confederacy Compromise of 2010, under which the economic, military, and demographic total population of both sovereignties are shared under one union of a Dual-Imperial system (Dual-Empire and/or or Dual-Monarchy). This symbiotic relationship allows the two nations to act as one in many affairs, including but not limited to incorporating economic and population numbers into a final statistic. It also extends to both countries using the full combined military strength in hostile or peacekeeping situations.

While it needs to be mentioned the conditions outlined within the Articles of Statehood act for the Indo-Anagonian Empire, the case where the two nations agreed to such a union is quite exceptional. Special exceptions had to be drafted by both Legislative Branches of both Nations to compensate for the newly formed powerhouse of a nation. That of ensuring sovereignty was respected and ensuring that the world understood the strength of the unity between the two combined nations.

The National Army re-organisation was being put into effect following the union with the Confederate States of Anagonia, with main focus being placed in the development of a trully professional army and land formation, and the abandonment of the outdated conscript practise of the Indonesian Empire of Yohannes. Following the union with Anagonia, and the subsequent formation of the Empire of Anagonia-Yohannes, a serious re-organisation of the army was needed. The result was the retainment of a professional standing force of ten land divisions, with emphasis being made in quality, and not quantity of the said coalition of formation. There are currently 10 active professional standing land divisions of the Empire of Anagonia-Yohannes. The goverment of the Empire of Anagonia-Yohannes allocated an estimated ¥546,412.16 (not converted to Universal Standard Dollar yet) worth of training and equipment of its military budget per men.

His Majesty Armed Defence Forces (HMADF) consists of the military branches of His Majesty Land Defence Force (HMLDF), His Majesty Air Defence Force (HMADF), and His Majesty Maritime Defence Force (HMMDF). The armed defence forces of the Dual Empire is restricted from declaring war upon foreign sovereign nations constitutionally. It is only strictly used when the Dual Empire is provoked, and will only be used upon to defend the Imperial land. It will not progress towards external aggression nor any operations outside the Dual Empire's border.

National Anthem of Yohannes

Postby Yohannes » Wed Jan 05, 2011 3:16 pm

The national anthem of the Kingdom of Yohannes (Indonesian: Lagu Nasional Kerajaan Yohannes) was composed by Gilang Buyung Nasution in 1801 and had been given changes at least two times, most notably during the unification of the Indonesian Empire of Yohannes in 1987, and during the fall of the imperial government in 2006.

The melody of the national anthem of the Kingdom of Yohannes was composed by Gilang Buyung Nasution in 1801, during the first conference of the various Yohannesian states regarding their unification as one national entity. Following its declaration of imperial unification in 08 April 1987, the melody was adopted into a song as the first national anthem of the Indonesian Empire of Yohannes. It was not however, the official anthem of the whole constituent monarchies within the federated empire, acquiring its popularity imperial-wide only during the accession of Rajino Hamengkubuwono I as the Indonesian Emperor and King of Java in 21 March 1991. It was consequently changed at the behest of His Imperial Majesty himself to exclude the sentence; "Dominate the Global Economies and Trade", within the continuance of the sentence; "O thy Commerce, Finance, and Banking.", so as to erase the economic expansionism-aura of the anthem in itself. It was further changed during the defeat of Imperial Yohannes in the hand of the coalition of regional alliance led by the nation of New Urcea and Holy Roman Confederate, and the establishment of the current kingdom.

Below is the lyric of the song;
National Anthem

The placid banks of northwest Europa
and the resounding cry of the brave
in shining rays and the sun of liberty
shine down upon our majestic homeland

If the assurance of this equality
we achieved our mighty aims
blessed by the heaven above
O thy Commerce, Finance, and Banking
May leave its undaunted mark
Upon the global economies and trade

O beloved monarchy
Emperor, an intense dream
Of hope and prosperity
if in thy lovely, smiling and clear skies
O beloved homeland!

Culture

Postby Yohannes » Fri Jan 21, 2011 1:31 am

The culture of Yohannes has been in most part overshadowed by its neighbouring nations' culture in Europa due to its location within the epicentre of the major powers of the region, notably that of Machina Haruspex and Tagmatium. It is therefore in the most part, not homogeneous, and instead a fusion of its own historical culture with that of its neighbours.

The main architectural model of medieval and late renaissance historical Yohannes was that of the style of Sephirith Architecture. The term appeared to be idolised during the height of the hysterical witch hunt era of the northwestern Europa medieval age, of which the term derived from the demi-devil angel of the death Sephiroth. As time went by, the term was adopted as the stylish name of the heaven pointed arch of historical architectures throughout the kingdom. There were many historical cathedrals throughout the kingdom, as Roman Catholicism was once the dominant state-religion of the kingdom, which was abolished constitutionally following the secularist movement of the 1930s. However, up to the present day, the coronation of the kingdom's monarch is still celebrated within the kingdom's largest cathedral located in Jakarta, the Saint Adolphus Cathedral. Aside from churches, Sephirith architecture has been used historically towards the construction of several religious aristocratic palaces throughout the kingdom, a testament to the successful preservation of the kingdom's historical monuments by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage.

The earliest recorded Yohannesian literature dates from the period of early middle ages. It was known now that it was then that Yohannes as a cultural entity successfully formed for the first time a single, uniform common language by majority. There were however, still several distinct local dialects and grammars, and most of the period's early writers used his own grammar and spelling set. Although most of the origin authors were unknown,
