Hello and welcome back to the Kyrek Newz! We hope you're having an awesome day and lets get straight into it!

Weather:

Recently, there has been some extremely harsh weather causing temperatures as low as -89 F which was reported in northern Odeka a few hours ago. Authorities are telling people to try to stay indoors becuase of this extreme freeze up which is unusual even for Kyrek. It is not a mandatory warning and has mostly been put in place to make sure no kids get hypothermia in the cold tempuratures. Most people and businesses are continuing business and usual. The government has stated that everything is fine right now. There is also heavy snow happening all over Kyrek with a whole 5 feet of snow falling in just a few hours in Odeka today. We caught up with some people shoveling:

Interviewer: Hello there! How are you feeling about all this snow?
Interviewee: Meh, it ain't much, I've seen more.
Interviewer: Do you think it is a good idea to be shoveling right now? I mean, more snow is expected.
Interviewee: Then it's gunna pile on top. Ain't no way I'm letting that happen.
Interviewer: Do you have any kids? If so, what are you doing to keep them safe?
Interviewee: Ya, I got 2 kids. They're inside right now, one of them is practicing using his gun and the other is doing homework.

Schools have also been canceled for the next 2 days in Odeka to make sure all kids are safe and in no danger.

Military Buildup:

Recently, Jack Timber, the Secretary of Defense came out with a statement, here is a snippet:
"We are going to be securing Kyrek's borders in case of any possible fighting. As you all know, there's been a whole lot of fighting in the world lately, we don't want none of that spilling into Kyrek and having Kyrek pulled into a war we don't want. There is no need to be worried. We just live in a time that's putting many of the world on edge. We are just bein' careful".
This has caused many to speculate about what is going on behind the scenes and if there really is an invasion threat to Kyrek. The government has repeated ensured everyone that there is no threat as of now and that this was just a statement to talk about Kyrek's current protection status.

Jekten Airport Repairs:

Large parts of Jekten Airport will be closed for the next few weeks following a series of pipe bursts which flooded part of the first floor. No one was was hurt in any of the bursts but there is expected to be thousands of dollars worth of damage. It is currently being repaired in case of any more incidents like this. All the other airports in Kyrek are expected to undergo repairs worth 1 million Kyrs all together. This money is also going to be used to modernize the airports and make them more u to date.

~~~ STC Intervention ~~~

This morning, General-Secretary Hiraki appeared on TV again, with the following speech:
“Today, we have decided to deal with a massive security liability in the region. We have warned the perpetrators of this liability that should they not resolve it within two weeks, we will intervene ourselves. Two weeks has passed, and the only reply we got was, and I quote: “F*** off”. By now, most of our viewers in the south would have guessed what has happened.
We have launched Operation Jungle Tiger. The Global Unity Alliance is still in the works, and so we could not gather an international peacekeeping force.
*Pause*
You are correct.
We have invaded the STC.”

Today, the Ypres Front has formally started the annexation of the STC. We have warned the rebels there that we would intervene should they not resolve their disputes, and we gave them more than three times the warning period to do it. They did not, and thus, we have taken matters into our own hands.
Around 30000 troops have crossed the Ypres-STC border in the south, all of them motorized and more than half in LS tanks. We crossed the Mexican desert quickly and we already have 8000 of them entering Mexika City. At every major city, 800 of our troopers were left behind to secure the city, and within 12 hours of each stop, transport planes airdropped 500 tons of aid material to the city. Our air force has not been used, as we deemed aerial bombardment too destructive against citizenry and public aid agencies to be allowed in this case as per the Halifax Accords.
The Caribbean islands have been blockaded so as to not allow any of the rebel groups to escape to other countries. All rebel leaders will be tried by an international committee.
We would appreciate it if no other country steps in, as we want this to be as quick and fast as possible.

This is a warning to Spacelandia. Get your act together or face the same fate.

~~~ Halifax Accords and Global Unity Alliance ~~~
The Ypres Front has already signed the Halifax Accords. As for the Global Unity Alliance, although Synodos has proposed constructing its headquarters in Sri Lanka, we suggest that, after our takeover of the STC, Cuba will be made into a self–governing nation (under the control of TSL) that will not be invaded and will not form any foreign alliances whatsoever, surviving on trade and trade alone. The GAU headquarters could be made in this future state.

~~~ Death of Alexander Phillip ~~~

The death of Alexander Phillip has greatly saddened us. An official announcement on the Ministry of Foreign Relations site said:
“While we may have been enemies of Mr. Phillip in combat, we held nothing against him. The world lost a great man when he died; we lost a man who was capable of great deeds, and we all know that great men are few and far between. He was a man who stood for what he believed in, and was determined to see it through no matter what.”
While General-Secretary Hiraki was unable to attend the funeral due to other pressing matters, our Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Interior have attended.

Recently, a large spike of people have shown increasing racism towards the people of the African Territories, largely due to the mass rebellions across the territories. People are sick of them killing each other over the territory. As well as this, the Tritonian Culture out east has seen a split along political lines, as different ideologies and agendas start dividing the culture into pieces. This has been shown to be true as a rally in Erdine, Theofanic State, started calling the people of Varna “Savages” and “Barely even Human” though they are only about 100 miles away from each other. Many Karunethiae political scientists believe this is stemming from the increasing radicalisation across the European continent and beyond, and that this could lead to a potential split in Karunethiae politics. Due to this new racism, Karunethiae militants have started taking arms, heavily arming themselves, and establishing massive amounts of home defense, which Trump has come out to support. Trump has also stated that he will be bringing up a vice president, known as Ben Sharpiero. He is also of the Paulist Christian Faith, as most across the nation are. From the newly create Company Protections Bureau, Holden Williams was new to this whole spy thing. However, with the help of the USSR inteligence agency, he was able to construct an inteligence network within the USSR dedicated to finding the killer of the late Alexander Philips, who had been said to have fled here. And they got him. It was time to see what really happened, and who wanted him dead.

"You are go for operation at 1600 hours" said the USSR operation handler, assigned to Synodos and the CPB. Holden grabbed his gun, a silenced Sig Sauer. A behemoth of a gun, for a behemoth of a task. He straightened his tie, and walked to the door. He glanced at the clock. 2:37 p.m. He had time to kill. He supposed he could go for a sandwhich.

2:48. Holden order a classic ham and cheese from the shop. He almost paid with drachma, before he realized and took out a credit card and paid with that. "Is that all sir?" The waitress was talking to him. That was odd. "No thanks." He felt the gun in his jacket grow heavier. They couldn't see it could they? No. He had been trained for months, right out of college. He knew how to conceal a gun.

2:59. The plate was empty. It was an amazing sandwhich. He'd have to talk to his supervisor about investing in the company. What was it called again? Ah. Silver Sandwhiches and More. Silver. The primary color of the USSR. They were proud of it. They were proud of their country. And their... socialism. Perhaps they didn't think the same way, but they were nice enough. Most of them anyway. He got called 'capitalist scum' yesterday by an old man. Some people can't accept that times change, and socialism is only getting stronger. Holden got up. As he walked away from the sandwhich shop, he noticed the waitress looking at him weird. His senses went into hyperactive mode. He noticed a construction worker giving him the same look. And a business man accross the street.

3:04. It happened so very fast. All three people pulled out matching TK made pistols. Immediately, Holden thought that it was the Terrae Karunthairae. The waitress shot first. Holden dropped to the ground, and her first shot sailed over his head. The Construction worker shot second, and his shot went wide. Now back on his feet, Holden returned fire. Bang. Bang. Bang. The waitress dropped like a sack of potatoes, the bullet cleanly coming in the front and out the back. Holden wheeled on the construction worker and shot him on the chest. Two down. The businessman was next. Holden gunned him down in the heart this time with a well placed shot.

3:04:23. Holden looked around. Everyone had fled the scene, and were still running away. Walking over to the body of the waitress, he picked up her ID. SRC? How? How did they get their hands on TK weaponry. As he was pondering, the businessman promptly blew up.

3:04:46. Holden was thrown from his feet. Apparently, the business man was wearing a suicide vest. Holden was in pain. He felt like he couldn't move. But he had to. He got up and assessed himself. Hit in the lower left abdomen with a piece of shrapnel. Damnit. Non-fatal, but hindered his mission. He limped to his car. He couldn't wait 55 more minutes. He was going in now.

3:13. The house itself was unsuspicious. How his network had found him he had no idea. He knocked. Then he shot the camera with his silenced weapon. But not quiet enough for the assassin to not hear. He dropped to the ground. Oh how it hurt to do that. However, it was a good idea. Not a second later, .50 cal bullets tore through the door, ripping it to shreds.

3:16. When the shooting stopped, Holden saw his oppurtunity. He hurled a flashbang into the house. He quickly followed it, and gunned down 3 stunned bodyguards. He stepped over their bodies into the next room. He saw him. The assailant. The man who delivered the richest person in the world to heaven. Holden shot him without a second thought.

3:20. Looking around, Holden noticed computers with various names and faces, as well as cameras set up in the city. A couple were his own informants. They had turned on him? Looking closer, he found the construction worker, business man, and waitress were anti-synodosian partisans during the war. They had been assigned to protect that direction if an attack was made. Three red x's appeared over their portraits, as well as flatlines to the side. Holden turned his attention to the computers now.

3:27. The computers were Synodosian. 100%. This sucked. The assassination was an inside job. He pulled an emergency flash drive from his jacket (why do all spies seem to have flash drives?), and plugged it in. It was preprogrammed to download everything to the drive, then delete everything on the computer. It did just that. He heard sirens in the distance. He quickly stuffed the drive into his jacket, holstered his pistol, and walked outside

3:29. "Sir, are you okay" an emergency responder asked him. He looked at her blankly. He straightened his tie once again, and promptly collasped. (Think Gustavo Fring death, but without the gore.)

4:20. The ambulance arrived at the hospital. On a gurney he was rushed towards the hospital, and he woke up for a few seconds. His USSR mission handler, Daniel Thomson, was walking briskly alongside him. "What did I say, Williams. 1600 means 4 o clock, not whenever the -bleep- you want." Holden looked at him, then at the hospital, where several Synodosian officials were waiting. Then he looked back at the handler. He reached into his jacket and pushed the flashdrive into Thomson's chest. Thomson grabbed it, saying "what the-" before stopping.

4:22. "What was handed to you sir." The Synodosian offical asked Thomson. Thomson hesitated. "Nothing, sir." The Syndosians knew better, but they were technically out of their own jurisdiction, so the best they could do was glare at Thomson. Thomson watched as Holden was wheeled out of sight. He then felt the flash drive in his pocket, and wondered why it was given to him. The kid was good, real good. Nothing got past him, apparently, neither could his own intelligence agency.

Recently, a large natural disaster descended over our nation, killing 2 and causing millions in damages. Trump made a speech about this;
“Look,while this may seem like a dark time, we truly think without a shadow of a doubt, I tell you, that there are greener pastures ahead. I think that if we persevere, yes, and if we see this through, we will succeed. I will personally compensate these peoples losses, but remember people, I’ll tell you, no matter what, you must persevere, I tell you, it’s necessary. I will help all of you! You’re all great, and I am honoured to be your president. As well as this, I have been made aware of recent issues with the SRC, and we demand retribution for their Assassination of the late Alexander Philips”.

Situation in STC

~~~ Mexika City ~~~
With 20000 troopers in Mexika City, the situation there was stable until two days ago. These troopers are under the command of Maj. Gen. Adrian Macron, one of our best generals in urban combat.
Two days ago, after a platoon of 50 men was sent out to patrol the outskirts of the city in 4 armored cars, only 1 returned, carrying 7 wounded men and only one unharmed man.

The 120,000 rebels had arrived.

~~~ Other cities ~~~
In all the other cities that Yprian forces conquered, we have been careful not to disrupt civilian life, instead only maintaining order without actively seeking out disruptors.
More importantly, using equipment airdropped to them, our soldiers have started constructing ballot stations in city squares, major intersections, and whatnot. On a selected date, all civilians above the age of 16 will be invited to vote on whether to join the Ypres Front or to remain independent. All that will be required is any piece of official evidence proving the civilian as a citizen of the STC.
Votes will be counted on the county-level, and any county that votes against joining the Ypres Front will be left to its own devices to sort itself out.

~~~ Relieving the troops in Mexika City ~~~
Despite their superior equipment and training, Maj. Gen. Adrian Macron sent this message to the Chief of the Army four minutes after the patrol returned with news of the rebel army:
“ *Static* Good evening, sir. This is Major General Marcon, here from the front. The rebels have managed to amass an army right outside the city, and from preliminary scoutings, they number between 110,000 and 140,000. Our troops number 20,000, and although I am confident that we would be able to give ‘em hell, we will eventually have to form a last stand. As such, I am requesting a relief force, to arrive before the rebels unleash bloodshed on the STC civilians.”

Three hours later, the Yprian Joint Assault Force (Y-JAF) had been formed and was crossing the STC-Ypres border. At just over 40,000 men, and split into armored and motorized brigades, they stopped at the top of the mountains surrounding Mexika City. The rebel army stretched to the other edge of the Valley of Mexico.

Several hours after Y-JAF crossed the border, 10000 more troopers crossed the border, but only continued 50 km before stopping. They would send a radio report to Y-JAF, and Y-JAF’s leader would reply with one sentence: “Ready the artillery guns” .
40 minutes later, a Y-JAF scout saw the first explosion. It was at the far side of the rebel army, however, the rebels soon gained control of the resulting fire and established a perimeter around it. It was only the beginning.
The second explosion came 4 minutes later. This time, it was on the nearer side (the side of the army closest to Y-JAF), however, it was soon dealt with.
Two minutes later, all hell seemed to break loose. Explosion after explosion rained down on the rebels, artillery coming down from the sky to punish those who sought to divide their nation and wreak havoc amongst the people. After an hour of continuous bombardment, Y-JAF sent the stop signal to the artillery regiments, which stopped and immediately started pulling out, returning to Yprian territory.
It was then that Y-JAF came down from the mountains. When Maj. Gen. Marcon saw them come down, he waited until they hit the back of the rebels before sending his troops forward. Within an hour, the rebels were beat up and encircled, and were offered surrender. (This is up to TSL Control.)

COMMUNIST PRESIDENT MURDERED

The Union President, Yunari, has been mercilessly killed by Russian Rebels due to unfilled documents. The Russians then surrendered themselves back to the Union of Communist States.

All the captured rebels were sent to a processing center, then sent to a very special torture camp made just for them, no exceptions. There, they will be given at least 2 life sentences (Each life sentence is 35 years) of nothing but torture, pain, and agony. Not just that, they might be even randomly raped by guards if they wanted to. The Union Vice President, Ethan, only 7 days after the Russian rebels were sent to these camps, declared the raping, backbreaking work with no pay, and torture unconstitutional and banned the use of these camps. The Russian Rebels were then re-processed and instead given normal prison sentences of 10 years.

The Body of Yunari was then put into a silver infused lead casket, and the mourning day was set to September 23, 2024. But before Vice President Ethan can take control as now he was the acting president, Kim, Socialist Party candidate, took charge. With Kim in charge, he has already made a lot of big changes that aroused anger from the 530 million people of the Union of Socialist States, renamed after the Socialist Party.

SOCIALIST PARTY TAKES CHARGE

First, Kim declared that the State Constitution of the Union be re-written in favor of him, (I will post link later). Second, Kim Has banned Foreign people from foreign nations from crossing the border into the USS unless they are either the president or diplomat. Third, he mandated that all women on Monday and Wednesday to wear a white blouse, black tie, black blazer, black skirt knee length, and black high heels and that men wear a white button down shirt, maroon plaid tie, maroon blazer, Khaki Pants, and Black leather dress shoes. Kim also declared that women now may not work outside the home, and they have to take care of everything that happens in their house and the property. The husband will have to get a job, and provide for their family. The husband will also have to discipline the kids, meaning if one of the kids commit a crime, the husband will have to pay bail because he is the "Man of the house".

Despite the Socialist party only taking charge for only 12 hours, the constitution was re-written, and now Kim, the Acting president, had supreme power over congress and the people, freedom of speech, press, religion, and right to assemble was removed from the constitution, so is the right to a fast and speedy trial. Slavery was also legalized according to the order of Shadaria, written by Kim.

Order of Shadaria

The trade and sale of slaves shall be legal
The Acting President shall have supreme power over the State government and the people regardless of constitution
Women on mondays and wednsdays shall wear White Blouse, Black tie, Black blazer, Black skirt knee length, and black high heels
Men shall wear White button down shirt, maroon plaid tie, maroon blazer, khaki pants, and black leather dress shoes on Mondays and Wednesdays
Prison and/or jail sentences must be at least 5 years in length no matter the crime.
Military units will be in charge of dealing with internal conflicts instead of the Police Force
All Border patrol have been relieved of duty and replaced with Military units

The Communist Party Knocks the Socialists OUT OF THE SHOW

Many people were enraged by the Order of Shadaria, and the Communist Party Put Kim in Prison for life, and Vice President Ethan Became the new president. Kim's attempt to implement the Order of Shadaria was nullified by Congress after Ethan took charge, and the USS got renamed to the Soviet Union. Ethan than re-enacted the State Constitution of the Union of 2023 to restore order within the nation, and the unrest died down. The Socialist Party then gets knocked and banished from the Union, and deported to various nations.

OPERATION: BEHEAD THE SNAKE

Capitalism. The so-called savior of our world. Those pigs have no idea how hard it was to act like one of them. With their pomposity, stuffing themselves with money until they burst like balloons. They have no idea. They are trapped between hammer and sickle, with the guiding hand of Communism formed into an Iron Fist, to stamp out the spark in which capitalism was formed. Humanity was born to be oppressed, not free. Without oppression, corruption and greed sow themselves within our minds. The sickle trims, the hammer shapes. The pig gorges. We are the salvation of humanity, the true power in our world.

We are the Gardeners. The Blacksmiths. As some may call us, The Red Menace.

This is a name we will take on and you will wear it with pride. For years we have lived in the shadows, guiding the world to communism, but they aren't radical enough. And the Synodosians, Kyrekians, and TK citizens all need to die. They have lived as free for too long. We are everywhere, larger than any of you know. BUT, this plan cannot succeed without ultimate secrecy. The Synodosian Company Protections Bureau is onto us. We are running out of time. Hopefully the USSR will stand with us, but if they decide to stand against us, they will die. That agent of thiers is pesky. I cannot convince him to stop investigating. All units in the USSR, be on high alert. We have little time before our plot is revealed and when it is, It goes into action.

He sat back in his chair, the white steel of his armor catching the pale light from the overhead fixture. His pristine gauntlets rested on the desk, motionless. The message that accompanied the article gnawed at his mind. “Silver Leader,” the words had an eerie familiarity, stirring a distant memory.

“Patience,” he muttered, almost to himself, the word cutting through the air like a sharp blade.

“Sir?”

The testing of the new Hyper-sonic missile has gone well, and field testing will be starting soon. A new design for a Battleship has come forwards. The Battleship will have not have ship-to ship combat as its primary purpose but will be made for long range surface-to-surface bombardments and as a small helicopter carrier. Testing of these designs remain in debate.

We're mounting the payloads on Sapphire-class rockets adapted from our advanced anti-ship missiles, but we're already planning the massively upscaled Ruby-class, able to lift even a manned capsule into space. Not into orbit just yet though, just on a Sub-orbital trajectory into the South Atlantic, but we hope to gain some valuable scientific data before we go all the way."

"Great! But we've also heard that some other projects have been completed by the Ministry of Research, with a new fighter jet, an entire new generation of Ekranoplans, and even a nuclear program! So maybe you're not in the clear for bangs just yet."

"Ha! well, the fighter jet is an entirely military project, so I can't tell you much about it, but I can tell you that it makes up for its lackluster range by being possibly the single best dedicated fighter in the world, with the main advancement coming from our advanced aerodynamics research. As for the Ekranoplans, we have successfully integrated the concept of the flying wing into Ekranoplan design, with our engineers currently working on a production design. We also have plans for a civilian cargo transport, as well as what is basically the Ekranoplan equivalent of a battleship, and even an Ekranoplan aircraft carrier! (Irl basis- Beriev Be-5000 and Bartini A-2500) As for the nuclear program, that's only intended as a civilian project to help the Internationale transition away from fossil fuels. The various groups fighting in what was formerly Spacelandia have agreed to a 1 month ceasefire, leaders of the groups have been meeting with Yprian officials to make sure none of them break the ceasefire before it is over. This comes as the death toll of the civil war has reached an astronomical 965,000 many of which have been civilians.

The new Quendellian state has not said they want to join with Quendell and are going to remain separate but with good relations. Locolandian officials have accused Quendell of inciting the rebellion but have no proof to back up the claim.

Locoland rebellion

Until it's former leader returns, and after much discussion with Locolandian politicians, Locoland is now a protectorate of the Union of Silver States Republic. As a result, we will treat them as one of our own states.

We strongly advise the western Quendellian rebels within will negotiate with us a compromise. Here are our terms.
1. The western sector will remain under the Locolandian government.
2. The western sector will gain a semi-autonomous state due to its high concentration of Quendellians. They may have their own laws, but they must not contradict ours in major things.
3. The western sector will be treated equally as any other state and will continue receiving USSR healthcare and other forms of aid.

Failure to accept will result in consequences.

War preparations are well underway. We are developing a sea mech, the "Silver Kraken Mk. I", and are preparing a larger airforce, navy, and ground forces. More details can be found here.

War Breaks out again

War between the Soviet Union and the United States of Aetheria has broken out, again. The Aetherian government begun funding for Russian Seperatists in the Soviet Union, which the Soviet Union strongly opposed, mainly because Aetheria has nothing to do with this. Because of their funding, the Russians rebels were able to purchase weapons from outside sources, and started fighting the Police force on the streets. This led to the Soviet Government declaring war, and sending millions upon millions of soldiers, 6 million infantry, and 40,000 USFs (Special Forces). The convoy was escorted by the strongest escort convoy ever known to man, with 60 destroyers, 80 frigates, 45 Cruisers, 84 Solar-powered submarines with missile launch capability, 7 nuclear powered submarines with missile launch capabilities, and 5 Multi-Purpose Aircraft Carriers. Every ship also has missile launch, defense, and torpedo defense capabilities along with Anti-Aircraft defense capabilities. The units are approximately 75 miles away from the Aetherian coastline, and if the ships got closer, Aetherian naval vessels would detect the convoy and immediately dispatch forces to intercept. Because the convoy is so far from home, it is harder for reinforcements to get there, meaning going head on is possible, but it will be costly. Soviet Military leader in charge of this large unit had to make a decision. Wait for extra reinforcements, which consisted of 125 Medium Range Artillery Boats, 34 Destroyers, and 2 Aircraft carriers carrying both the A-11 attack aircraft and M-16 Sky Battlecruiser, both made in 2019 and 2021, not up to date but not horrible, either. Even worse, the 6 million soldiers were sent with the wrong type of weapons. The plan was to send them with M2 or M3 automatic rifles, but someone messed up and sent each one with the E9 WW1 rifle. We looked like a total fool, so we requested the right weapons to be sent, this time, the M3 Automatic rifle. All this was expected to take 2-4 days to arrive, so Jafet ordered the ships to drop anchor and wait.

Russian rebels kill 10 million civilians

Meanwhile back in the Soviet Union, the city of Ft. David Blew up with over 10.1 million population. The Soviet Military 13th army and 14th army divisions were fighting armed Russian rebels when all of a sudden, kaboom! The Kalkota tower, the tallest building in Ft. David, blew up, followed by more explosions. Eventually, the entire city went boom. Only 100,000 survivors, 19 were Soviet Military soldiers, and the rest were civilians, made it out alive. Another 75,000 died tragically that day from severe burns and wounds.

100,000 Computers nationwide hacked

Prior to the fall of Ft. David, over 100,000 Computers running Windows 10 and 11 OS, MacOS, and Linux get bloatware, malware, and viruses. The Soviet Federal Intelligence has also found out this targeted mostly education institutions. The Soviet State government then attempted to shut down the Internet network, Cellular, Satellite, and wifi related, by contacting ISPs about the issue. About 95% of the network was shut down, but some ISPs refused to shut down their smaller networks, so people who still have 3G or LTE coverage in parts of the far east are still being affected by the viruses. The only computers that were not affected by the malware and virus were computers that couldn't open .exe files such as those running ChromeOS or LightOS 3.3. The Soviet Federal Intelligence eventually tracked the source of this infection, and staged a raid where over 2,400 Soviet troops surrounded a building complex, armed with M2 automatic rifles and 10 fragmentation grenades along with a full bulletproof-body armor suit. However, the Russians, despite being outnumbered 24 to one, took strategic positions, and succeeded in keeping the Soviet Military outside. But 5 days later, tables have turned. Most Russian positions are running low on ammunition, and the Soviet military went all in, storming up stairs and firing mercilessly around corners. Eventually, the siege ended with the building complex clean of any rebels, but all 240 russians and over 1,300 Soviet soldiers died during the siege.

~~~ War in STC ~~~

While the rebels have been busy fortifying their lands, TYF troops haven’t laid a hand on them, as they have promised to remain peaceful so long as they are not harmed. On the other hand, our polling stations around the former STC have been busy, and we have had locals tallying the results to eliminate chances of vote adjustment.
Today, the results have come out:

All the mainland STC counties have voted to join TYF, with an approval rate of around 79%.
The Caribbean islands have all refused to join TYF, with over 60% in favor of the rebels, now that they have united.

As such, the Ypres Front will incorporate the mainland STC into the Ypres Front. (More on that later).
However, as for the Caribbean, the rebels have been told the news. Both sides have signed a mutual armistice. The rebels have been warned: should they go to war again against each other, TYF will intervene again to secure the region, and this time, there will be no agreements.

~~~ Spacelandia Delegation ~~~
As the Spacelandian leaders convene in Ypres, they have seen the peace and harmony of our socialist world. With the one-month ceasefire running out soon, Yprian aid troops have been busy providing aid to stricken regions in Spacelandia, helping civilians and turning popular opinion in TYF’s favor. Expressions of gratitude from Spacelandian civilians have been received from all corners of the nation.
There were two mains of contention: what form of government would the reunited nation have, and would it unite in the first place? It was agreed that the nation would stay a republic, however, the second question remained unanswered.
This was due to a recent development in southern Spacelandia. An ethnic minority had been living across the deep South, however, with the recent series of wars, this minority has grown into a majority with a real shot at ruling the South. While a name for this faction is yet to be officially chosen, their leader has been attending the talks as well, and demands some form of independence, or at least, autonomy.
Rebel leaders from across Spacelandia were still discussing reuniting, when another proposal was offered by Secretary-General Dante Hiraki.

FORMATION OF THE ALLIED STATES OF THE YPRES FRONT

Today is a great day for our nation.
We were previously known as the Ypres Front, and we used to be one of the most powerful nations on this planet. Our phoenix has died, but today, we are reborn from the ashes, as the Allied States of the Ypres Front.
Our federation is formed of four states:

Ypres: The former Ypres Front.
Turghiyi: The mainland of the former STC.
Spacaxe: The former Spacelandia, excluding the deep South.
Southview: The deep South, excluding Florida and stretching from the Atlantic all the way west to the Brazos River in Texas.

Great reforms are in motion to give the newly-incorporated lands their own voice in their governments. The central government will still be headquartered in Ypres, however, each state will have its own central government as well.

In the southern tip of Turghiyi, protests have broken out amongst locals. This region was the least harmed by the STC Civil War, and was the closest region to refusing the Ypres Front’s offer to join the new federation. As reports of police violence have leaked out from the local police, the government has sent envoys with one offer to the protestors: the government will buy their property (at 90% market price, to encourage them to sell it themselves) and provide free transport to the newly-refounded STC (in the Caribbean). This offer has been extended to all those who wish to leave the Ypres Front for the STC.
In Spacaxe, the government has been busy. Projects have sprung up to rebuild the region, and massive aid programs have already been cast into motion.
Southview was formed into its own state in compliance with its leader wishes. His people have grown tired of the horrid state of Spacelandia, and have been granted semi-autonomous status until further notice.

Rebels in Locoland
Recently Quendellian rebels have appeared in Locoland making the Locolandian government suspect us of participating in this atrocity. The supreme council has statement against this saying that they would never do such a thing. It claims that these rebels are violent separatists that just happen to be of Quendellian blood. Quendell however has not taken this offensively, in fact Quendell says this as a slight misunderstanding. In response to these terrible rebels Quendell shows full support to Locoland and offers to help in any way they can.

Hate crimes
Following the events of Karenthian hate crimes, a young Karenthian girl and her mother were shot by an extreme USSR supporter leaving the mother dead and the girl hospitalized. soon after this a Karenthian man was stabbed by another extreme USSR supporter none of the killers have been caught yet however the council says they have everything under control. Many people worry that this could get much worse.

Quendellian Rebellion Within Locoland

The USSR appreciates that the peace talks have gone smoothly and is glad the rebels have accepted the terms with no bloodshed. With that, the USSR designs a state for the Quendellians with its own autonomous government, though they will still be under the Locolandian banner officially.

The "Locolandian State of Quendellia" or the "LSQ" is hereby established as a state within the Divine Republic of Locoland. The state will receive Silvai aid, just like any Locolandian territory, but they will have their own government. They will govern themselves as they like, so long they do not go against the DRL or the USSR. No Silvai soldiers will step on their land unless they request it.

Quendellian Government Help

The USSR kindly asks Quendellia to send some of its politicians/advisors to oversee the creation of the new state, as the populance will more likely hede their words instead of ours in the creation of the new government.

The USSR also asks if they would like USSR assistance to quell the hate crimes.

Rebels of the STC

While the USSR cannot directly interfere as the TYF is a close ally of the USSR, the USSR promises to send some politicians to speak with persuasion and reason towards the Yprians.

War Preparations Continue

The USSR announces the establishment of the "Weltuntergangsschlachter-Kolosse Des Zerschmetternden Zorns Aus Silber", also known as the "WSK-ZZAS" or "ZZ" by the populance. Lead by Cheif Researcher Johann Brandt, this organization stems out of the Weltuntergangstruppen Aus Silber.

More information will come, but rumors has it that the ZZ will be composed of Cyber-Titans - simply larger cyborgs with heavier armament - and Panzertitans - large armored mechs. The Silber Kraken is to be placed under the command of the ZZ and will serve within the Weltuntergangstruppen Aus Silber 66th "Overlords" Brigade.

With all the rebels around the world all of a sudden rising all at once, the USSR finds itself entangled with 3 issues.

The Issue of Quend-Locolandians:

The USSR is deeply unhappy with the populance there. The USSR has allowed them freedom, under the Locolandian flag (which is under the Silvai flag), and now they fight under our flags and tarnish our image. We gave them freedome, monetary and education aid, and we were planning to help build their economy by subsudizing some of their industries. Yet this is the result of it.

We demand the Quendellian separatists cease their rebellion immediately. The Sondereinsatzkommando Silber 68th "Red Rangers" Brigade has been mobolized and is on their way to the state. They will stop short of it and not enter to show the world that we uphold our word, even though we have every damned right to break it just like you did.

Keep this up and we might send a Weltuntergangstruppen Brigade.

You've been warned.

With the rebels in the STC seemingly growing rowdier every day, we have refrained from using force so far. With the rebels amassing 2000 rockets out of nowhere, we have sent troops to all STC ports under our control, with specific orders to only carry light weaponry, remain with full body armor at all times, and only inspect incoming shipments.
To the rebels, we repeat our previous offer:
“We offer free passage to the new STC or any TYF-allied countries. The central government will buy all property left behind, to allow any leaving citizens to start afresh wherever they wish to go.
The USSR has shown itself quite willing to support any refugees, and we promise safe passage to them, as well as any other nation.”

However, we urge all rebels to remember that, as a member of our Allied States, they still retain all their former rights of self-governance. The only difference now is that the head of state is answerable to our central government, and that united, all our Allied States have a larger voice around the globe.
Remember all the rights you have, and remember that should we have seen fit, we would have crushed all rebels as Terrae Karunthaie has done in Northern Africa several times.

– D-DAY Project
The D-DAY project has been progressing as fast as ever. With carrier variants of the CSA fighter series now available, we are only awaiting the completion of the super-carriers before the first generation of D-DAY ships are battle ready.
The super-carriers look somewhat like two medium size carriers with a shared top deck. Each hull holds 60 planes, 10 helicopters, 10 UAVs, and 2 SAM missile launchers. The shared deck has the ability carry 6 LS-tank landing vehicles or 3 midget submarines beneath it.

– LS tank series
Not much to say, however, we will say one thing: a new model will be arriving soon, with several key upgrades, including incorporating the fruits of the Slingshot project.
– CSA Project
After giving our air force two of the most advanced aircraft (CSA-241 & CSA-242) in the world, our CSA engineers are still hard at work. After building the all-rounder 241 and 242, our engineers have now been hard at work building more specialized variants, including:

A strike aircraft that will have at least 20 hardpoints and twin 30mm autocannons.
A naval aircraft. Now being developed jointly with the USSR, this aircraft is being specially adapted for USSR needs.

– Slingshot Project
Project Slingshot has been progressing faster than ever. We have now been able to consistently shoot 90mm projectiles at hypersonic speed, and we are now adapting this to our autocannons.
More of note, the USSR is already on the waiting list, and has asked for a 120mm variant, to be delivered as soon as possible.

D.E.U.S. News Network: Help Them

In light of the recent events, it seems well that I make this speech. Not so that you would know what you already know to be true, but so that the world's eyes may be opened and see what is happening. So, that they may see truth.

Locoland's leadership was never absent, as the USSR gives excuse to their take over, and it was not by the will of the people that they were taken over. No vote was held for if they even wanted USSR rule over them. No warning was given to them that their government would be changed overnight. There was no reason. But the USSR pounced on its opportunity to take yet another nation to bully. They force the people to take their deals, and when they refuse. I do not want to think of it. This is cruel and unnecessary, leave Locoland to itself. Just as you should have left Greece to itself.

Their ways do not just contain themselves to USSR neighbors, they stretch so far as the northern part of our world. What remains of the S.T.C. wishes to govern themselves but the Ypres front has taken them over, the same can be said for the remains of Spacelandia. When they ask for their freedom, they are given a rigged vote and swift punishment. The USSR has intentions of forcing the freedom seekers to remain under a rule that they don't want. Leave it alone. Sometimes it is better to let the world work itself out than it is to intervene.

The USSR puts on a face of perfection, that no one has any wants or desires beyond what the government gives them. They run under the guise that they are right and anything that the Premier and his Knights do is the only right thing. It was under this premise that they killed thousands of innocent people in Greece, it is under this premise that they are ruling over the people in Australia, and it is under that premise which the USSR is about to kill more people in the nation of South Quendell.

They say that no one goes hungry, that no one is homeless, that none ever suffer. But even a cursory glance will show this to be false. They still have their hungry, they still have their homeless. They say that they never have those seeking freedom from their oppression, but that is untrue. The peoples of Australia show that. The people of South Quendell show that.

This was why we declared war. It was not for monetary gain, nor land, nor power. It was to avenge the innocent and to lift up the freedom seekers of the world. Do not let them fool you, the USSR is not free, it is a dictatorship. The Premier and Knights have control of the country, their representatives are a sham and fall in line at a single word. This is why we continue to fight.

Locoland will now be treated as a subjugated people. No trade will be allowed in USSR controlled Locoland, nothing will enter by sea or air. We are launching a campaign into Australia and, if given permission, the nation of South Quendell. We will help the freedom seekers and those under the rule of the Premier. We call on those nations that uphold the rights of the people and wish to see freedom thrive, wherever you are, help the freedom seekers.

The Silber Kraken Mk I is a large and slow machine, Torpedo boats work well against this construction. It is expected that any encounter will be brief and deadly for the USSR machines.

The USSR sends the 3rd Armored Division composed of the:
- Gefechtsoldaten 19th Brigade
- Gefechtsoldaten 20th Brigade
- Sondereinsatzkommando Silber 47th "Silver Scythes" Brigade
- Panzertruppen 252nd Brigade

The forces have arrived at the landing Dragonians who seemingly went through our navy. No matter.

The 3rd Armored Division has effectively surrounded the city they're in while the 82nd Artillery Brigade has begun bombarding the troops. All radio frequencies have been filled with static hampering communication.

Any Dragonain naval vessels nearby have been sunk through ekranoplans, submarines, cruisers, corvettes, and frigates.

Reports have it that the Kraken has retreated and returned to the seas.
