Lord Chaburteen XIV sat down in his office. Moments later, he saw an all-out brawl out his window between a slavemaster and her slaves. The monarch stands up, fuming, and says, "Why, those CSL bigots have inspired our slaves! Lanzo. Lanzo! LANZO, PICK UP THE PHONE!

Meanwhile, Lanzo Stromann VIII, the Military Advisor, finally awakes from his slumber and notices the phone ringing. He answers, mildly annoyed that his midday nap was interrupted. The conversation went something like this:

Lord Chaburteen: I have news for you.

Lanzo: Oh boy.

Lord Chaburteen: The slaves are revolting.

Lanzo: WHAT! THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! EXECUTE THE LOT OF THEM! THIS IS WAR!

And so the House of Monarchs and the House of Ministers and Advisors met, and collectively agreed that this was an act of treason. And so war was declared on all revolting slaves, and so MORE slaves revolted. These slaves call themselves the "Liberated Peoples of New Heldervinia", openly opposing the Superior Monarchy rather, violently, to say the least. What has the CSL done!?!?!

OOC: Maybe you didnt saw it, but the ban of fertiliser imports was more of a ressitrction, and all farms have been nationalised but they are still able to get fertiliser. It just restricted nermal civilians and Heldervinians to get fertilizer, so they cant use it to make bombs/explosive material or rocket fuel

The convoy holding the 300 helderbus would be about half the distance from the border checkpoint.

"In a half-kilometer, take the exit onto Lake Annabel Road, Heldervinian Route 18 East, T-45 North."

The driver would turn on his microphone. "Halfway there boys. Once we pass through, these helderbus can mate." The occasional pothole seemed to not bother the helderbus within.

SIC: The Superior Monarchy took this as an act of war, and, justifying that the EFU slaughtered helderbus, a vulnerable species, mercilessly, and attacked the nation, construction began underground of a biological weapon.

No, the issue is more that military aircraft are generally quite heavy both transport/auxillery and fighting ones, and they would be slowed down extremely fast while the ground creates alot of friction on them. All of that and the quick trauma shock from the rough landing would cause major and I mean major major damage to the aircraft. Tho the pilots would most likely survive

The part about heavy military craft might apply to older Heldervinian aircraft, but, unlike the navy, aircraft are regularly replaced. The fighters, which constitute the majority, along with stealth and recon jets, are smaller planes that rely on burning fuel rather than using propellers. It's only the bombers that use propellers, and, consequentially, are bigger aircraft, and transport ones as well.

The media also publicises daily death counts on helderbu attacks, talking each day about 80-100 Heldervinian civilians which have been killed in such attacks, and showing footage of Commonwealth troops using traps and sleeping gas to capture Helderbus instead of ussing leathal force to kill them.
