Finarune Border near Sun Hill

A light freezing rain softly battered the huge collection of military personal setting out from Cadlin Barrack. The night pierced by various headlights from armored carriers, tanks, and various vehicles ready to bounce across the border from the Republic of the Finarune Valley to the United Socalist States of Crysuko. It was to be a surprise and one to quickly shatter the hope of any defender that was in the way for reclamation. Reclamation for the lands that the Finarunians rightfully deserved, whose inhabitants craved to reunite with its mother nation and now with a well armed military, the time for this great expansion echoed through the Republic. The call was now and even in its small statue, the Finarune Valley would make a shocking statement in just a hour by crossing the border and taking what it was owned...

INFO AND PREMISE OOC

The Republic of Finarune Valley (population 440,594) is a very small country bordering on city-state like status with nearly the entire population living in Finarune City its capital. While officially a Republic, the country has been ruled by President Ledger Uouston for 20 years growing the country into a rich state from its oil reserves offshore that it sells to anyone that can afford it. This abundance of cash has brought along with it a modern and well prepared military with mandatory one year conscription for all citizens before the age of 22.

While the majority of native Finarunians live within the border, a sizable and vocal minority are located across the border on the Crysuko side. Many of the Finaurians living in the Cyrsuko side of the Darner Peninsula (the peninsula that Finarune occupies) feel a strong urge to reunite with the Republic and have formed the Darner-Finarune Unification Front (DFUF) to rebel against the Crysuko government and reunite with the homeland. However, until recently the acts of rebellion were usually limited to formal acts such as petitions or protest but as all these options were met with indifference. This was replaced by gunfights and hostage taking within the last year and with the possibility of the Crysuko government punishing the DFUF a plan has been hatched between the DFUF and The Republic of Finarune Valley.

Operation Wildfire, a military operation to invade the Darner Peninsula and secure it for the Republic. The justification for the invasion being that the land was unjustly taken in a series of invalid land successions to Crysuko and to protect native Finarunians living on the peninsula with a start date being January 19th 2024 at 0200 hours. It will push through the rolling hills and forests that make up the area east of the Rune River, once securing the area the next phase will capture all towns east of the Mural River. This area between the rivers is made up of plains with agriculture lands. If captured the Finarune military will begin to entrench itself until peace can be reached. Operation Opulent will launch simultaneously with a landing ship launching towards Port Hickory to the secure the town and surrounding area. While this conflict will mostly be between Crysuko and the Finarune Valley, like any conflict it might have some benefit for your nation...

A buildup of Finarune military forces is about to cross the border to secure the towns of Sun Hill, Braunt, and Narrow Ridge. A troop carrier will also head to Port Hickory to secure to town. DFUF forces start to assault police stations and other Crysuko government buildings.

ORBAT (IF SENDING TROOPS): 500 elite Kostan infantry on one Shark-Class submarine. They have a specialized infantry set designed specifically for this war and are veterans of multiple wars. They are equipped with sniper rifles, light machine guns, food and supplies, and camouflage. Between them they have around twenty military vehicles with mounted heavy artillery and machine guns. They also have various explosive kits, such as mines. The destroyer will also have various other gear sets on it to switch out if they need to entire into urban combat or anything else.

EDIT for Orbat: Landing for these troops will be near Port Dusk, to get behind enemy lines.
ANY NOTES?: What do you consider to be MT? Some of my ships use more advanced weapons, but its generally nothing more advanced than the US military could have as a prototype today.

ORBAT (IF SENDING TROOPS): Stella Nera supports this reclamation ands sends the maximum amount of troops it is allowed, 500 Stella Neran Elite Iron Guard Soldiers, and understands that the AN may have its reasons, such as security, for not allowing more. Since only human troops are allowed, only human forces have been sent, and the Mechanical Android army has remained in the mother nation. In terms of supplies, 2 Railgun Model II's, electromagnetic kinetic projectile launchers, capable of launching steel rods at speeds up to Mach 4, have been sent to accompany the soldiers as artillery. We purposefully sent an old design, and only 2 in number, as it seems reasonable alongside the small force of 500.

Note: Some nations may consider railguns to be a form of WMD's. The latest models indeed are, no doubt, the likes of the Railgun XC are indeed WMD's. However older models, whose speed and restriction to less difficult terrain, makes them arguably, in comparison to such beasts like the Model XC, inferior weaponry, however if you decided to classify Railguns, even the first models, as WMD's, Stella Nera understands the decision.

Alongside that are medical and food supplies to last the soldiers up to a month, as well as $500 million in SN currency, (Scintilla's) which can be converted into local currency.

You got way to much stuff in your ORBAT including going over 500 troops and the amount of ships. Just fix it up and we will be good to go!

You can provide aid but the Finarune Valley would not be fighting in this war just to give back significant chucks of territory to other nations . If terms after this conflict are favorable towards FV perhaps you could negotiate for a leased port but that is a big if FV wins this conflict. So just don't expect anything.

Laser defense systems and AI automated drones. I won’t use drones with a destroyer because it’s not carrier capable, but so do believe they have some lasers. I can use conventional technology if you want me to. More details are in my navy factbook (my land forces factbook is outdated tho).

Instead I'll just send the 500 Elite Front Soldiers of the SN Army, and send them armed with slug rifles (traditional guns) and some kamikaze drones, nerfed to fit MT standards of this realm. 12 Kamikaze drones, all remotely operated, 2020s era in terms of tech.

Everyone is clear on the fact I claim that turf where the lake and Rune river meet, right? I'll invade that region as a diversion against Crysuko.

The Mortlake region is the area's breadbasket. Messing with that would probably cause a famine, and we wouldn't cede it for blood nor money.

Bruh who said anything about a famine? I just wanted to impose tariffs and take advantage of the region's resources, not close it off. Now I really want to take it seeing how important it is.
