Charter of the GSC
The Global Socialist Coalition (GSC) is designed to further promote cooperation and collaboration between the socialist/communist nations of the world, as well as the development, promotion and growth of socialism, whilst maintaining a stance in opposition to capitalism and the free market system. Members are encouraged to support their fellow members in times of conflict or need, which may include and is not limited to - sanctions on hostile parties, an official endorsement of the aforementioned member, or if necessary, military intervention and assistance. Whilst peaceful resolution is encouraged and supported, the GSC also recognises that some situations are unable to be solved via dialogue and mediation, and instead must be countered by force if necessary.
If a member state finds itself in times of crisis, conflict or general instability, they are able to request assistance from the GSC, a request which must first be approved by either British Arzelentaxmacone (Owner/Founder) or Rapaldegia Bagazis (Co-Owner/Co-Founder). If this request is deemed legitimate by one of the two aforementioned parties, then an official state of emergency is declared and all members encouraged to participate in the conflict/crisis, although this is not mandatory.
- Should the situation be a civil war instead of a conflict with foreign powers, then the GSC’s position will be in the favour of the legitimate ruling party/government.
- Disaster aid may also be provided, but requires going through the same process as is used in conflict situations.
The GSC welcomes both Democratic, libertarian nations, as well as non-democratic, authoritarian nations as members, provided they all share some common ideals of a socialist economic system. Whilst these values and principles differ from country to country, these basic socialist concepts below must be applied :
- Absence of a free market economy.
- All means of production in the hands of the government.
As an observer, a nation may not vote on resolutions, but can still discuss and debate with other states just as a member can. They will also not be directly encouraged to intervene in crises/conflicts unlike members, will be unable to submit resolutions or general suggestions, and cannot request official GSC assistance in ongoing conflicts. However, if they deem it necessary, individual members and observers may intervene should they wish to.
Other forms of cooperation are encouraged, which may be in the form of diplomatic summits, cultural exchanges and even alliances between individual nations to further strengthen unity and mutual trust within the GSC.
