I believe regions should sign contracts between each other stating that their should and will always be peace. I also do not believe a government should be allowed to rule the people. The people make the government so that means the people should rule. My alliance believes that. I also do not understand why bigger countries like to bully the smaller countries. Welcome to the World Assembly. Here we strive to make the universe a better place. Unfortunately, each one of us has a slightly different idea on what constitutes "better". Some even differ over what constitutes a "place". Some aren't even human. Unlike some unions or alliances that exist to keep the peace, the WA has no mandate to police the universe through force. Instead, it represents something of an international legislating body; the majority rules when it comes time to vote.

Even if there were, it would not be the WA dictating its terms. Why not? Mainly because the WA lacks the authority. Also, most WA members are just as petty and venal as non-WA nations.

Should countries have nuclear weapons? ?WHY

Nuclear weapons? Some of us have multilevel plasma railguns, though we try to restrict the really powerful stuff only to the police and military. The WA currently allows for nations to make their own decisions on possession of nuclear weapons.

Again, unfortunately, the WA is probably not the best place to deal with this. Consider alternate ("Gameplay") locations to propose and bolster inter-regional alliances.

suddenly some very familiar music starts blaring over the loudspeakers, and the good but unwholesome Senator Sulla walks into the GA singing....

Walking over to his desk he removes his suit jacket, and puts on a cartigan sweater, then he sits down and changes from his dress shoes to sneakers. Smiling most unwholesomely he addresses his fellow ambassadors,

Well I see that we have somebody wanting for all of us to be friends. Isn't that just lovely, boys and girls? Anyway this delegate believes that larger nations shouldn't bully smaller nations. I can fix that problem boys and girls. All the small nation needs is to buy a few dozen Annies from the Palentine. Can you say M65 Atomic Cannon, boys and girls? Sure you can. I must dissagree with the delegate on one point though. We are not all human here in the festering snakepit, at least I hope so, boys and girls, because I really love to canoodle with catgirls with low morals, and easy virtue. The good but unwholesome senator then removes his sneakers, and puts on his dress shoes. then he removes the sweater, and puts his suit jacket back on. He reaches behind his desk and picks up a box containing a riding crop, spurs, and small box of prophyactic contraceptive devices. Then as the music starts to play again, he sings in a fairly good baritone voice, as he exits the Festering Snakepit....
