Hi West - I do have some comments, nothing major. This is another epic draft, phenomenal research into the history of a much storied nation.

Okay, criticisms. When I read a draft or even (especially) my own reports for work I am on the lookout for repetition of words or phrases used in relatively quick succession. I find it jarring and disruptive to the flow of the text.

“Foundation” or “foundational” seems to me a bit overused in your draft. “Regional” is as well. I would highlight them but I’m on my phone with a small screen and with my eyesight…..

Not expecting you to be a walking thesaurus, but a little judicial editing wouldn’t come amiss.

In terms of the cards, well I think what you have is sufficient - even without the cards there seems to almost enough material for two Commendations. Almost. :)

There were a couple of very minor grammar edits but they’ll have to wait until I’m on a bigger screen tomorrow.

Many thanks, BBD! Have been edited to cut down on or replace those repetitions; admittedly that's a bit of a pet peeve for me too but I seem to be doing quite more of it as of late. Thanks for helping me catch those!

WRT cards I'm in agreement with you in that the current status of Riemst's work in that community is sufficient, though it wouldn't hurt to add more if he gets there in time. I've checked the cards he's missing, and they are among the most rare; unless he's likely to get those rather soon, I'm not feeling currently inclined to wait for that to occur. A similar point was raised to wait for WS to get AoCI before his commendation is passed, and several months after the commendation has passed WS' collection is unfortunately still lacking on that front.
Stay safe, be kind, and have a great day! :)

Dropped out of the queue - thought it had reached quorum?

Appears so. Unsure how it happened, maybe the campaign wasn't as effective. Not sure how it might've lost enough approvals, though.

Regardless, I'll probably resubmit tomorrow. I guess if anyone caught any mistakes or has any issues, there's some extra time to raise them!

Office of the President of Sophia
WORLD ASSEMBLY VOTING RECOMMENDATION

Security Council: Commend Riemstagrad (nation), by Westinor

Recommendation: FOR

Rationale: By the time you read this, the final day of the English Premier League season will have commenced. Manchester City have already sealed the title and the identities of the remaining top six are known, but Aston Villa must scrap with Tottenham Hotspur and Brentford for a place in the Europa Conference League - while just one of Everton, Leicester City and Leeds United will avoid joining Southampton at the bottom.

Structurally, at least, we can tell much the same story about Commend Riemstagrad. Their achievements have been feted enough over the years that it would be hard not to recognise them for it: they fought to establish the foundations of Belgium's modern government, of its defender military, of its union with Nederland. They were long seen as a leader among defenders, too - but Westinor, as they always do, brings to light some lesser-known facts. Did you know that Riemstagrad led one of the most innovative defences of all time in France, or one of the cleverest in Imperial Europe?

Surely you're aware, however, that they spearheaded the greatest native freedom movement of all time: the campaign to free Belgium from the clutches of their occupiers in Macedon, which gathered so much traction and sympathy that those from up above had no choice but to authorise regional Liberations to end such future travesties of justice. Behold: in 2009, Liberate Belgium - their home; their sanctuary. It's still the only resolution ever to be successfully plagiarised.

That was then. This, of course, is now. Riemstagrad has retreated to a place of relative safety now: they are in the habit of collecting cards. They have racked up every single Epic card, as it is written - and all but four of the Legendary cards that sit above them. They know their way around the mechanics, too. And indeed, they are as philosophical now as they were then - just less muscularly. What isn't to like about them? Nothing, says Westinor, with their oh-so-addictive flourishes of rhetorical delight. We cannot help but agree.

Today I realised that, within the SC, voting patterns are always the same. It's not like the GA, where interests and voting patterns vary a lot.

Shocking, never realized that. Although, it's not exactly a massive deal.
