Welcome to the IC thread for the ATO Alliance. An alliance meant to protect its member states and promot peace. Most Nations are Welcome, except Far Right, Communist & Nations who have committed war crimes. We are open and are looking for members.

Is to provide financial & military aid to our members & work for the Oure benefit of Mankind as whole. And being an Alliance, we also aim to protect the Interests of our Memberstates. The ATO promotes Peace & Democracy, and shall fight to uphold it.

History

The Alliance originally started out as an Alliance between, Neibeskiya and COLDBAR. It expanded and grew and finally it was declared a full fledged Alliance with a Charter. Currently the alliance has started a Patnership with the CSL.

Charter of the ATO

• Article 1
  (a) All member states vow to defend each other and not to attack each other. (b) If any member is found attacking any member state there membership shall be instantly terminated, and all other member states are supposed to [required] declare war on that former member state. [Article c & d terminated] (e) Any member or observer state shall retain the right to leave the organisation. (f) An attack on one member is an attack on all.

• Article 2
  (a) All members states by signing this charter will also share a Non aggression and Free trade agreement automatically. (b) All member states should share intelligence and information for the betterment of all Members during war and peace time. (c) All member states shall contribute a minimum of 5,000 peacekeeper troops from there respective militaries. (d) Members shall contribute a minimum of 1 million NSDs to maintain the various facilities and organisations created by this charter.

• Article 4
  (a)An Council shall be created with representatives from all member states and observer state's. (b) There shall be a Secretary of the ATO elected by its member states on a majority vote of more than 50%. (c) The Secretary of A.T.O shall be responsible to organise military, diplomatic and economic missions, campaigns and operations. The secretary shall also manage the Day to Day work of the Council and the Organization. (d) All members shall get one vote in the Council. (e) The Council shall vote and discuss on major maters stated in this charter.

  (a)There shall be a status of 'Observer State'. (b) An Observer State shall not have the right to vote in the Council, but will also not have to follow the article 1 except section (e).

A quick guide on how to make a good post

• Always Mention OOC, if the post is staring such. But mainly keep OOC stuff in the OOC thread.

• For IC Posts, roleplay as if your the Representative of your country. This is the Most Simplest & Best way to post IC.

Example- "I think that this proposal doesn't align with policies of our Nation. A such I shall Vote against this proposal" said Representative %Rep. Name%, while sipping a Cup of Tea.

• Use ("), they are very helpful in separating what your Representative said and what is happening around.

The Wrong Method: %Rep. Name%, spoke, I think that this is not a good proposal. I am thus abstaining, he said with a Face like a Mask.

Okay so I've decided that we should create a 'Joint Military Command'.Here are the details for this proposal-

Joint Military Command Creation Proposal
The ATO understanding the need of Joint Military Command in case of a war hereby adopts the following articles-

• In times of war a Joint Command will be created with One representative from all member states.
  
• One Joint Marshal shall be elected by all member states.
  
• The life of each Joint Command shall be as long as the war lasts.
  
• The Joint Command shall be responsible to conduct military operations and shall be accountable to the ATO council.
