Second Tsui War (IC)

Postby The Tsui » Thu Mar 30, 2023 4:52 am

Following the TCP forming a majority in parliament on their own, Hosa IX had consolidated his power, and set about reforming the Tsui into a force to be reckoned with once more.
However, Adeva would return from exile in Regnum Alea. After waiting and gathering foreign support, as well as mobilizing a Tsui paratrooper legion with Galapagos equipment and Ayshire’s training, and gaining local support after reaching out to local lords and generals in the Tsui, Adeva has returned to the country, landing an army in the West while sympathetic generals and lords launched an uprising in the East.

The United Federation has been following the Occupation of the Tsui and the revival of the TCP, a party seemingly less than the democratic ideals their occupiers had. Judging the distance from the mainland and the scaling down of commitments overseas, the United Federation has ordered to set sail, the Army of the Reussgera, the United Federation's large formation quick reaction force.

Accompanying them was a diplomatic corp with messages for the Tsui, directly for Hosa IX -

Communique from the United Federation of Relikai:
The United Federation has understood that a breakout of hostilities has occurred in your nation. Rebels supported by foreign powers descend upon your shores, and infighting has occurred even as the seeds turmoil were sown. We understand your efforts which led to the First Tsui Conflict, and that is a move we respect. While we are mainly military, we understand the danger of a military strong enough politically to dictate who sits at the head of government.

Therefore the United Federation and 70,000 men are headed your way to stand with your men. Our planes ready to land when your airfields are ready. No doubt other powers will be eyeing your lands for grab, but our intentions will be clear. We desire a trading partnership. Tsui horses are known to be second to none, and if you will accept our aid we will establish a Mounted Constabulary in the honor of this new alliance.

Signed, the United Federation of Relikai.

After hearing of war breaking out in The Tsui yet again, Marajarbia would decide to remain neutral, for it had already completed its goals in the recent occupation, and had built the necessary infrastructure to assist in the prosperity of the entire region, but it opposed the new ruling party.

Marajarbia neither approved of the ruling party, nor of Adeva’s return, and as such, would remain neutral in the war itself.

Port City of Constle, Millitary Base, Hidrandia

After news of war breaking out on some place far away from home, this would be the oppurtinity to test the millitary capibilities of the Foreign Legion. The fighting force for far off conflicts. So, for the first time in a long time, the 3rd Unit would be ordered to the port, while supplies, and weaponry would be shipped to the city, along with this some of the naval vessels would escort the troops. Hopefully it didnt end up like last time...

Oceanin Special Intelligence (OSI) and The Party have been keeping tabs on the situation in Tsui from its first war and to its subsequent occupation that did little to do anything to help the country and more or less imperialism under a thin veil of "democracy" the call to fight has been said the naval fleet "Match" supported by a submarine fleet called "Strike" has been ordered to sail to Tsui.

Although they will side with the communist some within the Oceanian leadership are wary of how Adeva does things and so the OSI has been tasked with keeping an eye on him and reporting his actions to the higher-ups where they would decide whether or not he is worthy of being helped.

The Tsui begin construction of an airfield in Gonero to meet the United Federation’s planes, as they respond to their communique

The Tsui is willing to accept aid, and willing to negotiate in return a trade partnership. However, the Tsui would like to make it known that they will be very protectionist in their trade policy, and that they may be able to lower tariffs on United Federation products, however these remaining tariffs would still be quite high

While Marajarbia was neutral in this conflict, there was still the presence of
Marajarbian corporations involved in The Tsui, with companies such as the Marajarbian Construction and Shipping Group having set up shop within the region. These companies were already being taxed highly, and had employed the majority of their workforce from the local population due to lucrative infrastructure developments which Marajarbian corporations assisted with during the occupation. It would be unknown if Marajarbian corporations would continue to have a presence in the region due to the start of a second war.

Following the First Tsui War and the following occupation and the eruption of a second civil war the ACP has recgonised the brand new opportunity in front of them.
Within hours of the second war the 4th and 7th Special Forces Brigades aboard two An-26 transports begin heading towards Adeva controlled territory in Tsui while the rest of the troops are prepared. This support comes after a meeting between the ACP and Adeva and local warlords in Tsui with the two sides coming to an agreement.
With Tsui being mainly a island and it's military still considered weak from the previous war many in Parliament and the local population are confident about the performance of the Ayshirean troops.

Taking note of the other intervening forces in Tsui the Ayshirean Air Force has deployed a flight of two Tu-95MS from the 12th Heavy Bomber Squadron. Their mission will be to monitor any incoming ships coming to aid the forces of the illegitimate government and will give them the option to turn back or risk being fired upon. Their home base will be any aviable airport or airfield under Adeva's control and when possible will be given the resources they need to continue carrying out their mission.

As soon as Tsui engineers finished the basics of the airfield in Gonero, the 1st Fallschirmjager 'Tassis' led by General Karla Tannenberg would start landing their forward elements, notably a Fallschirmjager battalion and the support engineer and anti-aircraft battalions. Even as the locals continue their excellent work in establishing a base, the combat engineers would aid them in the task, including preparing the landing pads for the 14th Aviation Regiment, a force of formidable Tiger helicopters and tank hunter H135 helicopters. As of now, the forces in the Tsui are on a defensive posture, intent on getting the base online as soon as possible while roaming Fallschirmjagers start securing the local area, as well as hunting for infiltrators or saboteurs.

Fallschirmjagers are trained to operate alone for a few days of harsh fighting, but with friendlies in the area, they were able to consolidate the local area while the transportation fleet prepares to make a landing at Politas. Of major importance is the security of supply lines via air or sea, and the landing of two Wings, the 51st Air Superiority Wing and 53rd Tactical Strike Wing being the first two scheduled to arrive. The Relikan fleet is aware of foreign intervention on the opposing side, as shadowing bombers are shadowed in return, by two F-35s supported by tankers as Eurofighter Typhoons from Luftflot 7 secure the airspace around the Fleet. The Fleet understands that the rebels control two islands off Politas, and are ready to commence strikes should the Fleet be fired upon from these positions.

The Relikan Trade Minister understands the tariffs, and is willing to up the ante by holding plans for future educational exchange programs and developing the civil infrastructure of Tsui through interest-free investment plans. There are several advantages to the Tsui, that being Relikan businesses and workers sent over to the Tsui, which in turn creates jobs for the locals. Since Relikans would import items from overseas, the Tsui would benefit from an influx of tariff income.

Talks about building a military outpost in the Tsui was barely touched, as the United Federation believes that if the civil sector could send a number of contractors over, the need for a military presence to protect Relikan interests are low as the Tsui would seek to take charge of their own security in peacetime, something the Relikans would respect.

80 Miles of the Northern Coast of Tsui

Sea Travel was tough, waves, Sea sickness, and Subpar food. But, that's just how it is. They we're predicted to Land in roughly 3 days. The simplistic radar systems would come up mostly empty. Safe for now, but gunners would always be on the ready. Just in case..

When asked in an interview about the conflict in The Tsui, Marajarbian President Fred Edwards had this to say:

“As a part of Civil War Season, one of the more chaotic periods which impacts the world we live in, as well as its future, the first war and subsequent occupation did its part well. This second war is nothing more than the return of a war criminal who thinks the power he was removed from will always be his. This is not one of the cases. While Marajarbia is very friendly towards Hosa, we cannot support a right-wing ruling party, either. Right-wing parties in power have usually spread authoritarianism to every country large and small, so much so that alliances and nations of the past, including those in what was the ICDN prior to it’s joining of the 17 alliances suffered from. As such, Marajarbia will remain neutral.”

Ah the Tsui a place of bombs, gunfights, and lizardmen puppets. Now of course the Galapagos had had an invested interest in the region however due to uncontrollable factors the Galapagos wasn’t able to. At least not until now. Now Galapagos ships departed from Montevideo filled with men, weapons, and everything else needed to supply a war abroad. Of course transport ships weren’t the only thing departing the Galapagos. Surface to surface missiles, many from Peru and Patagonia, were on their way to the Tsui as well. These missiles would proceed to make their journey high over the heads of soldiers and sailors alike to strike infrastructure and governmental institutions inside the war torn country. Of course the simple fact was that the Tsui were just coming out of a brutal civil war was relevant to anybody above the age of 7. This meant engineers got a ride on the transport ships along with their humanitarian brethren, these ships were mixed in the fleet now sailing to the Tsui however that was but a side note along with the seemingly out of place cargo-like ships that now sailed ahead of the main fleet.

The Adevaist forces have launched attacks from the beachhead in the west, gaining ground rapidly as the Tsui army is mobilized.
Meanwhile, the uprising in the East is put down by local loyalist peasant levies, forcing them to retreat to a more defensive perimeter.

Marajarbia commends the moves made by The Astral Mandate in helping civilians. Furthermore, the Marajarbian Parliament is currently debating on whether or not it should send peacekeepers to work alongside these medics, while also protecting any non-combatants.

Relikan troops continue to arrive, notably the 71st Air Superiority Wing and 73rd Tactical Strike Wing of Luftflot 7 where aircraft began to conduct sorties against the Adevaist beachhead. An airstrike usually consists of two F-35s, two Typhoons, 2 Prowlers and 2 Tornados, with the F-35s provide radio and communications networks while the Typhoons launch Suppression of Enemy Air Defences missions with the new SPEAR anti-radiation missile. Tornado strike craft loitering around the targeted zone would then dash in to release cluster bombs under heavy jamming from the EA-8 Prowlers, attempting to shut down what remains of the immediate air defence around the area.

Additional troops from the Fallschirmjager division continued to arrive, as the men started heading West to meet the Adevaist advance. Soon the first Regiment would have landed, allowing three battalions to go West while the fourth defends the airfield with the independent battalions.

Off the coast, the first Panzergrenadier companies of the 4th Division Hohenstaufen began to land, the logistics and Headquarters units entering the port to organize rally zones and traffic stops. The battalion would take about three hours to get organized, while the consolidation of the regiment a further two. These forces are expected to head towards Gonero as well, with the 6th Division tasked with defending the port city for other supporters of the Hosa Faction to arrive in.

The Relikan Ground Forces call for easily identifiable markings and radio signals from the Astral Mandate to ensure that no friendly fire or unintentional incidents occur. The Marshal also states that should enemy forces be known to use Astral Mandate facilities, the Relikan forces will not enter the Mandate area, but prepare to arrest them should intent to return to fighting be known.

The 58th Combined Arms Army and the 3rd Guards Tank Army both received orders to prepare for deployment to Tsui. While this was going on, 6 newly built Kyiv-class battlecruisers, 8 Zhukov-class guided missile destroyers, 10 Udaloy III-class ASW destroyers and 8 Murmansk-class SSNs left the Northern Fleet home base of Murmansk. 16 Tu-160 supersonic bombers along with 2 squadrons of Su-35 fighters and tanker aircraft took off from several air bases outside of Minsk and headed southeast across Warsaw Pact territory towards Tsui.

To the leader of the Tsui

Let it be known that you have the full support of the New Russian Federation against Adeva. As a show of our support, we will be sending the 58th Combined Arms Army, the 3rd Guards Tank Army, a naval taskforce, 16 Tu-160 supersonic bombers and 2 squadrons of Su-35 fighters. While it will be sometime before our troops and ships arrive, our aircraft will arrive with in the next 10-12 hours.

Sincerely,
President Boris Titov
