Suggestions and comments: The Matriarchy is still healing the wounds created by the Sameethian Genocide. The genocide was primarily perpetrated by men and the reason Sophya is currently existing is thanks to her Founding Mothers. This isn't intended as an excuse for the inequalities observed between the genders today; it is moreso meant to be an explanation of why her people has trouble trusting men.

Hi! I'm [REDACTED], but you may call me Sophya.
I enjoy singing, cooking, learning about the world, listening to music, and spending time with my family.
Please don't send me too many messages at once; I'm an unusually skittish introvert and will probably ghost you if you do.

1. What are the maximum, minimum and mode average sentences for a woman murdering a man?: Murder is always a life sentence automatically. If there were extenuating circumstances, such as self defence, then a murder charge wouldn't apply and it would be manslaughter instead.
2. What are maximum, minimum and mode average sentence for domestic violence by a woman towards a man? Maximum is one year in prison, minimum is nothing and mode is usually community service.
3. What are the maximum, minimum and mode average sentences for coercive control by a woman towards a man in you nation? Maximum is 2 years in prison, minimum is community service, mode is usually a financial penalty and six months of community service.
4. What are the maximum, minimum and mode average sentences for a woman who sexually assaults (by object penetration) a man in your nation? Controversially, this is not yet recognised as a crime, but may carry a common assault charge and be handled as above regarding domestic violence.
5. What are the maximum, minimum and mode average sentences for sexual assault or harassment of a man by a woman in your nation? This is not yet recognised as a crime in Tangatarehua, although could potentially be considered common assault and thus the answer to question 2 would apply.
6. What is the maximum, minimum and mode average sentences for incitement to violence against men accused of crimes without evidence in your nation?: Incitement to violence in all cases carries a six month jail sentence, although can be commuted to community service or a fine of K1,000,000 (NSD$50,000)
7. What is the maximum, minimum and mode average sentences for false accusations of sex crimes in your nation?: Not a crime
8. What is the maximum, minimum and mode average sentences for the unlawful arrest of men? Not a crime, however the constitution (Article III, Section 14) grants all citizens the right to sue the state for redress in the event of false arrest or imprisonment with the exact amount varying on a case by case basis.
9. What is the maximum, minimum and mode average sentences for trafficking men in your nation?: Minimum: 14 years in prison, Maximum: Life in prison, Mode: 25 years in prison.

Section Three - Government Stances on men's rights
Expanding on answers past "yes/no" is appreciated where possible/applicable.
1. Does your government support gender equality? Yes, this is guaranteed by the constitution

2.Are there any laws that only apply to women(if so what are they)?: Abortion is illegal and this law tends overwhelmingly to target women

3. Are there any laws that only apply to men(if so what are they): Laws regarding rape and sexual assault at this point in time only concern men (though there are plans to change this)

4. If your society is a matriarchy, Does your government consult with men's rights advocates or experts when enacting relevant legislation? Yes, especially in modern times in which the country is trying to achieve greater gender equality.
5. Are men's rights rights written into your nation's constitution? Yes
6. (If a matriarchy) as your government expressed a desire to improve men's right rights on a national level? Yes
7. Has your government expressed a desire to improve men's rights in matriarchies internationally? No, Tangatarehua does not believe in interfering in the national sovereignty or internal affairs of other states.
8. Does your government allow tax-deductable donations to men's rights organisations? No - Goods and Services Tax must always be paid. (This applies to other donations too.)

Section Four - men's employment rights
Expanding on answers past "yes/no" is appreciated where possible/applicable.
has your nation ever had a male head of state: No, the Pounamu Throne cannot be inherited by a male under any circumstances whatsoever.
Has your nation ever had a male head of government:
This is gonna get complicated.

Tangatarehua is usually considered a diarchy, but the head of state is always the Empress who outranks absolutely anyone and is literally considered divine. Males cannot under any circumstances whatsoever inherit the Pounamu Throne.

The head of government is usually the Rangatira who is always male (because in Rehuan culture there is seen a need to balance male and female energy in government). The Rangatira however is inferior to the Empress but in essence functions as a co-monarch.

As for the legislative head of government, yes, there have been as many male Prime Ministers as female.

Percentage of men in the population: 49%
Percentage of men in the following roles...
Senior military officers: 100% - women are not permitted in the military
School headteachers/principals: 30%
Legislature or equivalent: 45%
Judges: 40%
Police officers: 80%
Cabinet ministers: N/A - Tangatarehua's government doesn't have a 'Cabinet' in the western sense
Senior academics: 20%
Religious leaders: 40%
Lawyers: 40%
Doctors: 40%
CEOs: 50%
Major landowners: 50%

Section Five - Societal Attitudes
Expanding on answers past "yes/no" is appreciated where possible/applicable.
1. What percentage of the public believe men are equal to women? 65%
2. What percentage of the public support #Ibelieveher? 0% - it's unheard of in Tangatarehua (And I OOCly have no idea what it is either)
3. What percentage of working-age women would feel comfortable having a male boss? 70%
4. What percentage of voting age (in a democracy or a system with elites as voters) people, or people at the age at which a royal can accede to a monarchy (in a monarchy) would support a male head of government?: 90% of people are fine with a male Prime Minister, 0% would support a male head of state (Empress)
5. What is the most common view on the sentences for serious crimes against men?: It's hard to say as it's a controversial topic. Men overwhelmingly outnumber women in terms of the number in prison or getting arrested and there is an increasing view that this is evidence of continuing sexist discrimination against men.

Suggestions and comments: Replace the [box] tag with [code] on the questionnaire in the OP - this will make copy and pasting much easier.

Your nation's current year: 2023
Your nation's type of government: Constitutional Republic, Unicameral legislature
Would you like to receive a telegram updating you when your nation has been scored? Sure

All answers are referring to areas under the Jurisdiction of the Armed Republic of Juansonia, and any tonal bias or word choice reflects on the IC nature of an unnamed person filing this.

OOC: Haha copy+paste machine go brr

Section One - Legally Enforcable Rights
Expanding on answers past "yes/no" is appreciated where possible/applicable.
1.Do men have the right to vote?

The right to vote is guaranteed to all citizens at or above the age of majority, except for those who have been punitively disenfranchised. In the case of humans, nekomini, and most other sapient species among the Juansonian citizenry, sex and gender have no effect on age of majority.

2.Do men have the right to drive?

What is this "Right to drive" bullshit? Driving is a privilege reserved for those who have a need and have demonstrated themselves to be safe behind the wheel. One's sex and gender is only relevant because driving licenses are a form of identification document.

3. Do men have the right to freedom of religion? All sapient persons have the right. Sex and gender are not factors.
4. Is sexual assault or harassment of men by women recognised as a crime?

Sexual harassment is defined as harassment which either
a: is on the basis of one's willingness or unwillingness to perform a legal sexual act
b: is in the form of unwanted sexual advances

It's technically an enhancement onto a harassment charge, and the sex and gender of the victim and offender are irrelevant.

Section Four - men's employment rights
Expanding on answers past "yes/no" is appreciated where possible/applicable.
The following questions only count the male and female population towards the total of 100%

has your nation ever had a male head of state: It currently has one.
Percentage of men in the population:48%
Percentage of men in the following roles...
Senior military officers:48%
School headteachers/principals:33%
Legislature or equivalent:49%
Judges:54%
Police officers:55%
Cabinet ministers:49%
Senior academics:40%
Religious leaders:

Juansonia does not have a state religion. The largest religious group is atheists, but atheism is not a religion for the purposes of this question. The next largest group is Christianity, of which Catholicism is both the majority and the largest with a unified policy. The Catholic Church has imposed a complete ban on women entering the clergy, but the Juansonian Conference of Catholic Bishops is requesting to let women become deacons in the Juansonian Conference. Due to varying policies and absence of records, we cannot prepare statistics for Christianity as a whole.

Lawyers:41%
Doctors:47%
CEOs:49%
Major landowners:45%

Section Five - Societal Attitudes
Expanding on answers past "yes/no" is appreciated where possible/applicable.
1. What percentage of the public believe men are equal to women? 72%
2. What percentage of the public support #Ibelieveher? OOC:Ireland does not exist in Juansonia's universe.
3. What percentage of working-age women would feel comfortable having a male boss? 92%
4. What percentage of voting age people would support a male head of government?:
Assuming no other relevant factors, 76% would be indifferent, 18% would support, %6 would oppose
5. What is the most common view on the sentences for serious crimes against men?:

"Ideally, the sex and gender of the victim and offender would have no affect on the sentence of a crime, barring any sentence increases due to bigoted motivations. Juansonia's system does a great job at meeting this goal." Stances on punishments being too high or too low weren't asked about, except within the context of how they were affected by those factors.

Suggestions and comments:
1. put the questions in a [ code ] instead of a [ box ]
2. Add a "anything else we need to know" box to explain unasked things that may affect results
3. don't close indexes just after opening.

Hatsune Miku > British Imperialism
IC: MT if you ignore some stuff(mostly flavor), stats are not canon. Embassy link.
OOC: Owns and (sometimes) wears a maid outfit, wants to pair it with a FN SCAR-L. He/Him/His

Right now, Pride gets June, and Greed, Envy, and Gluttony have to share Thanksgiving/Black Friday through Christmas, Sloth gets one day in September, and Lust gets one day in February.

It's not equitable at all
