Totsëâ - A passenger ferry carrying fifty-three people sank today after a fire broke out on the ship. The incident took place in the early hours of the morning. The passengers were quickly evacuated by the crew and local rescue teams.

According to authorities, all passengers were safely rescued, and no injuries have been reported. The Ministry of Internal Affairs, Regional Development, Tourism and Local Economies announced that the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Passengers reported feeling a strong smell of smoke and seeing flames on the deck before the crew announced the evacuation. The ferry, which was en route from the village of Totsëâ to the nearby town of Čagvra, quickly filled with smoke and passengers rushed to the deck to escape.

The fire was put out by the local fire department and the passengers were taken to their destination. A backup ferry was issued while the other was investigated and repaired.

Agausian authorities are no strangers to boating and other infrastructure incidents. Ministry officials have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire and the safety procedures followed by the crew. They will also assess the damage to the ship and determine if it can be salvaged.

Kalsakia Autonomous Republic is set ablaze by insurgents and riots

Southern Chejjiak District, Autonomous Self-Republic of Kalsakia
Old Khakan Town
11:20 A.M

Chejjiak - The smell of burning rubber can be scented across the city of Chejjiak, the autonomous state's capital and their largest city. Vehicles were set ablaze by rioters, it was the state's first in decades.

It's been a week since the riots started, protesters went out on the street, demanding the republic state government to take immediate action against the recent poverty and attack made by the insurgents. The Kalsakia Autonomous Republic Police has sent their anti-riot squad attempt to disperse the protesters by using tear gas and flashbangs, but it would be use against them by the protesters. A day ago, rioters had stormed into the Kalsakia Autonomous State's Government Palace, setting it alight with Molotov. The reason of riots was the insurgency and the ethnic tensions between other natives.

The Qayik Democratic Struggle (QDT/Qaiyik Archilsan Tetsil/Q.A.T) is one of the main insurgent group in Kamilistan, made out of the native Qayik people from the central and north of Kalsakia, they seek to "bring justice for Kalsakian Qayik and Natives, and to bring a free and democratic Kalsakia", they were the penetrators of the recent car bombing in the town of Uys. There were 3 other more ethnic based insurgent which were the United Bashyr Forces, Kaldakyiks People's Brigade and the National Liberation for the Suryak People.

The brigades that fought ASAM in South Dagestan had now become the sole anti-insurgents forces, the Lions of the Struggling North Brigade, CSP Militia and the People's Volunteer Forces are the ones currently fighting against the insurgents and as well as acting as a anti-riot forces in the state. For now, the Kalsakia government has announce a curfew from 10 P.M to 7 A.M

Polls close in English Island by-elections, DEC reveals official results

The Drongonian Electoral Commission has released the final results of this weekend's English Island by-elections.

The elections, in which the ballot boxes were closed at 10pm last night, are being seen as a make-or-break moment for the public's confidence in the current Government. Many political analysts and pundits are speculating that a Labour win in any of the usually fiercely right-wing electorates could be the canary in the coal mine for an upset result in next years' General Election.

Nonetheless, Labour's newcomer candidate Thomas Marsden was able to clinch victory in the Patterson Inlet electorate, the largest of the three up for grabs. Marsden beat out National's Winston Greyhart by just over 1,000 votes - translating to a margin of 3.59% in the race. Many commentators had considered the electorate to be a safe win for the National Party.

In the tightest race of the three, former property lawyer Edward Paulson snatched the Adamson Islands electorate from longtime Conservative and former MP for the electorate, Christopher Renall, by just 149 votes or 1.06%.

In result that surprised few, former Swinton Mayor and longtime Conservative Party donor David Townsend cruised to victory in the Swinton electorate, sweeping up over 41% of the vote, clearing closest rival Lawrence Grouper by over 15% or a pinch over 3,500 votes. It is expected that leadership of the Conservative Party will be transferred to Townsend in the coming days, being the party's only elected Member of Parliament.

This leaves the state of the Government unchanged, but moves one seat from the right-wing bloc to the Labour-Green alliance. National now has 60 seats, just one from an outright majority. Labour now has 56 seats, with the Conservative Party re-entering Parliament via David Townsend's win in Swinton. Currently, the Government, comprised of the National-Libertarian-People's Front alliance, has retained the majority in the House, with a combined 62 seats. The Opposition currently holds 57, with the Conservative Party sitting cross-bench with one seat.

The new MPs will be sworn into Parliament on Tuesday. Full results for all three electorates are below:

FSM loses Supreme Court religious recognition case
Christchurch, Drongonia
February 7, 2023 | Emma Wilson

before the hearing. Photo // Reddit

Members from the 'Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster' attended a day-long Supreme Court hearing on whether or not the so-called religious group qualifies as a religion.

The group's members, who call themselves "Pastafarians", organised a petition in late-2020 which garnered over 25,000 signatures. The petition called for official recognition of their beliefs as a religion, and argued in favour of tax-exempt status for the group's business entities. Members of the FSM presented to Parliament in July 2021, where it was deliberated on by Parliament's Select Committee on Petitions. The Select Committee referred the petition to the courts.

Initially, the argument was bought before the Central Christchurch District Court, where District Court Judge Chris Taylor denied the group's request. The group then appealed through the Christchurch High Court and have now reached the Supreme Court. The group's members are largely expected to appeal the Supreme Court ruling and bring the case before the Supreme Appellate Court for a final hearing.

The Supreme Court ruling largely centred on the group's "lack of religious context" with the court's findings detailing how "the group is merely a collection of people who have used an absurdist Internet movement as the basis of social cohesion." The report, presented by Justice Andrea White, went on to compare it to established and recognised religions such as Christianity and Islam, which the court's report asserted were "founded on absolute belief. Beliefs that the followers of the comparative religions have held so deeply they have fought and died for, largely without question."

Towards the end of the proceedings, Justice White asked one of the representatives of the group if they "would die for the core principles of FSM." The group's representative answered "Probably not." When asked if the representatives had any additional input, they answered negative.

It is estimated that the group's combined proceedings have cost taxpayers almost $300,000. The Supreme Court is expected to deliberate within the next fortnight as to whether the group's representatives are liable for that cost.

Calva's National Paper

Agios Górtyna stock riots four years on
Four years ago, the capital of Agios Górtyna in the nation of Calva was rocked by a series of riots in response to a major stock crash. The crash caused a massive economic downturn in the nation, and the citizens of Agios Górtyna took to the streets in protest.

The riots began with peaceful demonstrations and marches but soon escalated to violence and destruction of property. Stores were looted and set ablaze, while police and military attempted to keep the situation under control. The chaos went on for days, with tensions between citizens and authorities reaching a fever pitch.

In the aftermath of the riots, the people of Calva were left to pick up the pieces of a shattered economy. The stock crash had a lasting effect on the nation, as the government scrambled to compensate those affected and restore order. Fortunately, over the past four years, the nation has been able to recover and rebuild.

Though the riots of four years ago were destructive and chaotic, they served as a major wake-up call to the government of Calva. Since then, the nation has implemented several economic reforms and regulations in order to better protect its citizens from the effects of stock market crashes. While it will take time for

The Orwellian Surveillance System in Calva: 10 Years of Success

It's been 10 years since the Orwellian Surveillance System was implemented in Calva, and the results have been nothing short of remarkable.

The Orwellian Surveillance System, developed by the Calvan government, is a comprehensive surveillance system designed to monitor and record the activities of citizens in an effort to protect them from potential threats to their safety and security.

The system has proven to be a success, with Calva's crime rate dropping significantly since its introduction. According to the latest figures, there has been a 40 percent reduction in violent crime over the past 10 years.

Moreover, the system has been credited with helping the government to better identify and address potential threats before they can become serious problems. For instance, the Calvan government has been able to thwart numerous terrorist plots since the system's implementation.

The system has also been praised for its effectiveness in catching criminals. According to police officials, the system has helped them to solve numerous cases that would otherwise have gone unsolved.

Finally, the system has been credited with helping to bring a sense of security and peace of mind to the citizens of Calva. Many have commented on how they feel safer knowing that the government is keeping a watchful eye over its citizens.

Eleventh Agausian parliament called into session
Author: St́epanâ Šurigini
Thursday, February 9, 2023

Image

Tamara - Agausian members of parliament have had an extremely busy first week as the rush to the capital got underway before Monday's inauguration of Agausia's eleventh session of parliament. President Aioviḱara, working in his official capacity, called in the new session of parliament after each of the one-hundred-forty-five members took their official oaths of office.

The president also gave a short speech outlining his legislative goals and initiatives for the future of the nation. Aioviḱara said that his government will focus on economic growth, job creation, and improvements to the country's infrastructure. The President is expected to outline his vision for the future and the steps that the newly appointed government will take to achieve its goals sometime in late February or early March.

During the first hours of the parliament, MPs voted in Agausia's eighth prime minister, Mišḱo Ermolai, and his cabinet. The coalition government, led by the Social Democrats, Farmers' and Greens' Union, United Alliance, and the New Socialists, will now be tasked with leading both the country's parliament and government ministries. Other important appointments were also confirmed including, to the nation's national bank, prosecutor general's office and chief justices to Agausia's three superior courts.

With the appointment of Mišḱo Ermolai as PM and Maḱsim Ṕanossi as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Integration, two special elections will need to be held to fill their now vacant seats. Both elections are scheduled for March 8, and both seats will likely be filled by Social Democratic candidates as both districts are strongholds for the party.

The New Center-Left Coalition (MTAK) have a long list of legislative emergencies and priorities to attend to. They must solve the nation's housing crisis, lower inflation, improve wage growth in the country, fight corruption and much more. Adding to the list of woes is the ever-present war in Ukraine and regional instability in the Caucuses.

Agausians have not seen a coalition government since 2010, and many are skeptical of the new government's capability to work together. The last time the United Alliance and the New Socialists were in a coalition together, their relationship was mired in ideological arguments which impacted the effectiveness of their tenure. A poll conducted on Wednesday found that only about forty percent of Agausians believe that the new coalition will last all four years and that the session will be effective in improving the country.

Labour leader Schofield ahead as preferred PM in first poll since taking over party
Christchurch, Drongonia

February. Photo // TVDG

Labour's supporters are no doubt celebrating the results of the latest TVDG political poll - measuring which of the two major party leaders tracks ahead as the Preferred Prime Minister.

The poll, conducted between the 31st of January and the 6th of February, is the first political poll measuring either leader approval or party rating since Phoebe Schofield took over Labour's leadership on February 1. The poll, which was conducted as part of a wider overall study also measuring party support, economic and political confidence, and other important factors, is also the first comprehensive Drongonian political poll or study of 2023. TVDG Online will be releasing the results from the rest of the study throughout the coming week.

Phoebe Schofield came out on top in the preferred Prime Minister rankings with 50.9%, beating out incumbent Prime Minister Bill English by a margin 2.5%. What political pundits an analysts are calling most important, however, is the significant reduction in the percentage of unsure voters. In the last preferred Prime Minister conducted by TVDG in December 2022, 2.4% of people weren't sure who they preferred. Now that number has dropped to just 0.7%, less than a third of the previous total.

Since English and the National Party won the 2016 election, English has been a somewhat divisive figure. It is widely accepted that English has a large core support-base, but his conservative style of governance has turned away many moderate or swing voters. Additionally, his more socialist stances on healthcare, infrastructure and welfare have driven away 'personal responsibility' conservatives and libertarians, pushing them more towards supporting minor parties.

In past TVDG preferred Prime Minister polls, English has consistently been able to narrowly best former Labour leader Sarah Ellice. However, the future is less certain for the Prime Minister. Further back, English's lead had been far more comfortable. For example, in an April 2021 poll conducted by TVDG during the height of the nationwide anti-'White Drongonia' protest movement, he led by Ellice by over 14%.

Schofield spoke to National Radio today regarding the poll, saying she was "cautiously optimistic" about the results. "I'm pretty happy, as you can imagine - with this being the first poll as the [Labour] leader. Obviously 2024's election is still more than 18 months away and anything could happen between now and then, but I'm cautiously optimistic."

When TVDG reached out to Prime Minister English for comment, he replied that "The party polls are more important" and that "I'm sure when the full results are released, I'm sure we'll see that Drongonians are still supportive of the National Party's ideas, policies and governance." He added that "Drongonia isn't the United States, you don't vote based solely on a leader while the party takes a backseat, our politics is very much focussed on the ideas and the team working to implement them."

Agausian court approves extradition request of former Bulgarian politician
Author: Mira Ahmâni
Saturday, February 11, 2023

Tamara - On Friday the Agausian Supreme Administrative court approved the extradition request of former Bulgarian politician Liubomiri St́oânovi, who is facing corruption charges in his home country. St́oânovi is accused of embezzlement, bribery, and abuse of power during his time in office as an official in the city of Yambol.

The former Bulgarian official was arrested in Agausia last year on an international warrant issued by Bulgarian authorities. Since then, the Bulgarian government has been seeking their extradition, but lawyers for St́oânovi have long argued that their client will not receive a fair trial in their home country.

However, the Agausian court rejected these claims and ruled that the former official will receive a fair trial in Bulgaria. The court also ruled that the individual's human rights would not be violated if they were to be extradited.

The decision has been welcomed by the Bulgarian government, which has long been pushing for the former official's extradition. In a statement, the Bulgarian justice minister praised the Agausian court's ruling, saying that it marked a significant step forward in the fight against corruption in the country.

St́oânovi first fled to Agausia in 2019 after Bulgaria's State Intelligence Agency performed a raid at his home and issued a warrant out for his arrest after a pattern of corruption was discovered. He was arrested in 2022 in Tamara at the request of the Bulgarian government. The former official has plead not guilty and has maintained that he is innocent. The extradition date is to be set by the Bulgarian courts in the coming days.

Leaked intelligence report suggests 'extreme right-wing culture' exists within DSSB, DSIS

A leaked internal report, issued to the Drongonian Security Services Bureau and the Drongonian Security and Intelligence Service, has highlighted an apparent "extreme right-wing" and "dangerously nationalistic" culture which is said to exist within the Drongonian Government's intelligence circles.

The report also discussed whether those conducting the investigation believed that the DSSB and DSIS, along with the Parliamentary Security Service, would adequately protect those who ideologically opposed them. The answer, shockingly, was no. The report, authored by the Office of Parliamentary Security Oversight, asserts that there are "members of the DSSB and Parliamentary Security Service in particular who would die for Prime Minister English. This, of course, is somewhat expected of such members. However, this devotion goes above and beyond what is regularly expected within the line of duty and borders on idolatry in some cases."

The report cites classified internal IT audits which reveal members of the DSIS allegedly viewing White Nationalist propaganda in situations not relevant to terror investigations. It also alleges that members of the PSS communicated via internal channels that they "hated" former Labour leader Sarah Ellice and would "quit straight away" if she was elected Prime Minister. The report further cites an apparent sweep of one DSIS agent's work computer which revealed "a multitude of propaganda in support of the leaders of Syria and Belarus" including one file called 'bashar_based.mp4' showing the alleged bombing of civilian areas in the Syrian Civil War.

Neither the directors of the DSSB or DSIS would respond to TVDG's multiple interview requests, but released a joint statement affirming that "The role of the DSSB, DSIS, Parliamentary Security Service and other partner agencies both within and externally to the inner intelligence apparatus is to secure our country and its people against all threats, foreign and domestic." The statement also rubbished claims of political bias, saying "members of the [intelligence] agencies operate with the upmost professionalism at all times, regardless of who they are protecting."

Labour leader Phoebe Schofield said during an interview with National Radio that if the report was true it would "warrant a complete and utter tearing down and rebuilding of the entire national intelligence system", adding that "really the only solution to root out far-right extremism is to go 'scorched Earth' on it."

When asked for comment regarding the leaked report, Prime Minister English said he wasn't "entirely sure of the source of the report". When asked if he'd read it, he confirmed that he had, but that "it seemed like rubbish to me [him]".

Toyota Drongonia faces off with customers over oil hose issue
Christchurch, Drongonia
February 14, 2023 | Michael McMann

all-metal design. Photo // YouTube (The Car Care Nut)

Toyota Drongonia has gone into full 'ignore mode' over a decades-old oil cooling hose issue affecting FWD Toyotas sold in Australia, New Zealand, Cancolastan and Drongonia.

The issue, which affects transverse 2GR-FE engines such as those used in the Toyota Blade, RAV4, Estima and Aurion, can result in sudden drainage of almost all the vehicle's oil if the engine is not turned off immediately. The defect is caused by the usage of rubber hoses, used as part of the oil cooling system on the ever-popular 3.5L V6 engine. Over time, these hoses can become brittle and develop cracks or pinholes. These leaks may not present as major at first, but near-universally end in the engine's oil pouring from the lower-front of the vehicle.

Toyota Drongonia, responsible for the manufacture of multiple models of Drongonia, Australia, Cancolastan and New Zealand-new vehicles, issued a recall in 2009 which affected almost 600,000 vehicles across the four nations. However, owners of the vehicles are now alleging that Toyota never reached out to them during the recall window, resulting in the eventual failure of their vehicles.

By the end of 2010, the offending rubber hoses had been swapped out for an all-metal assembly from the factory. Various front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive Toyota models worldwide fitted with the 2GR-FE are said to have suffered this issue. So far, DRIVER is aware of at least 500 owners of Toyota models, most notably Aurion and Blade models, who have had their vehicles fail as a result of this issue in the last six months alone.

Toyota Drongonia spokesman Tony Ike said in a statement to DRIVER that "affected customers have had plenty of time to come forward - in some cases over twenty years. We are not going in to service cars of that age as it's very likely that unneeded work within the engine bay will cause other issues, resulting in unnecessary headaches for both our technicians and the vehicle owners."

Those directly affected are encouraged to reach out to Land Transport Drongonia and submit a model safety report via this link.

The issue affects the following Drongonia-new vehicles with 3.5L engines:
2002 - 2009 Toyota RAV4
2002 - 2009 Toyota Camry
2006 - 2010 Toyota Aurion (incl. Sportivo)
2007 - 2010 Toyota Blade Master / Blade 2GR-S
2005 - 2010 Toyota Estima 3.5G

Power struggle for GRPG as members fight for control

West Gisra District, Federal Administrative Krauka of Gisra
Zanjur Al-Abwas District Office
2:22 P.M

Gisra - A division among the GRPG Political Coalition members can be felt throughout the nation as breakaway factions fought for dominance and control over the GRPG. The National Revival and the Retribution Camp merged to form the GRPG - In Oppositional Agreement, many of the defectors claims themselves as "Reformed GRPG members" but statistic shows that at least 20% of the members were labelled as "corrupted"

The "Original Coalition Camp" was renamed to "GRPG - National Government Council" or NGC as it was the main factions from the IOA. The former headquarters of the GRPG was taken over by the oppositional factions while the Zanjur Al-Abwas District Office was taken by the main faction. In parliament, one of the oppositional faction of the GRPG had a brawl with the main members of the coalition, injuring one of the NGC faction's members right leg and was suspended for 2 months.

Propose bills by both side was oppose by one and another, as each of the 2 has different views when it comes to certain policies. The theory of a GRPG coup by political theorist was predicted as true, as the current head of the NGC is Imani Al-Khahan Makmoud Khan, while the opposition forces is Ali Shah Barugnov. The Grand Alliance's Secretary Ozakar Nazif urged the GRPG to "get themselves back in shape or their political registration to be removed for both side." So far, nothing has changed

South Sarawakian's teen makes miraculous recovery in North Sarawak hospital
Joseph Granda A.K Jugah, 18, was fighting for his life at a Southern Sarawak's official hospital following a near-fatal work accident; when his condition worsened, he was transferred to Mukah where doctors have given him a second chance; 'The situation was so complex we couldn't tell if he'd make it or not,' says attending doctor
Nitzhiya Yaakub | published:02:33

Joseph Granda A.K Jugah, an 18-year-old South Sarawak from the Engkelili, is sitting in a wheelchair, wearing a small birthday garland on his head and a shy smile on his face. Nurse Cynthia Rena is wheeling him forward toward a table with a birthday cake and plenty of presents. Dr. Helmi Azri, who accompanied him from day one, could not be more elated.
Joseph was electrocuted and severely injured in a work accident. He was hospitalized in a South Sarawak hospital but when his condition deteriorated and his life was in immediate danger, he was moved to an Northern Sarawak hospital for further treatment.
Facing extensive third-degree burns all over his body, numerous infections and renal failure, several different teams had to combine their expertise in their respective fields in order to stabilize Joseph's condition and put him on the road to recovery.
"The situation was so complex we couldn't tell if he'd make it or not," says Dr. Helmi. "There were moments where I didn't think he'd make it, but the kid is a fighter.
Other than the medical story itself, there's an incredible human story here that knows no political boundaries. Medical staff made up of both Malays and Dayaks saw someone who needed help and rolled up their sleeves to do everything they can. After all, a human being is a human being."
Joseph was transferred from the Intensive Care Unit to The Department of Plastic Surgery, where he's going through rehabilitation and is set to be discharged from the hospital in two weeks. As his right arm had to be amputated, medical staff are working hard on arranging a suitable functional prosthetic, which can only be done overseas.
Dr. Helmi's communication with Joseph is mostly non-verbal, as Joseph only speaks Iban.
"The Iban I picked up in the army won't cut it here," Dr. Epstein says. "The only Sarawakian Malay he knows is 'good morning' and 'thank you', so I mostly just smile and make eye contact with him.
Despite the numerous ways he could have died, he always smiles at us and makes eye contact. We also got to know his father who slept here for months to keep an eye on his son. We made sure he had food and everything else he needed.
In our hospital, that's the way it goes. One second you're treating an RSDAF officer wounded in Sri Aman and the next you're caring for a boy who lives there."
Joseph's 18th birthday celebrations kicked off with a long trip along the beach.
"After not seeing the sun for so long, he was very excited," says nurse Cynthia. "We arranged a cake with presents and confetti. He cried and kept thanking us."
Head nurse Jurna Abidah said: "When we deal with such complex cases, we give much of ourselves. There's no other way. Every patient we stabilize and save is a process that involves sacrifice. We're connected to them, regardless of their background."
Ward manager Dr. Adibah Noor Sufyan who was also present at Joseph's birthday bash, said: "The challenges of treating them are an integral part of the situation. It's never simple, but that kind of success gives us the power to go on."
Joseph himself said: "Thank you very much for everything. You've surprised me. May we only know happiness. You're part of my family now."

Agausian U.N. representative denies making antisemitic comments
Author: Lečkumi Baksolâni

Tamara - The Permanent representative of Agausia to the United Nations, Žoseṕ Okṕovneli, is facing mounting calls to resign after he was accused of making antisemitic comments. The allegations were made in response to comments Okṕovneli made during a recent speech, which some are claiming contained anti-Jewish rhetoric.

Okṕovneli, who has represented Agausian in the U.N. since 2018, has vehemently denied the accusations and has issued a statement condemning all forms of bigotry and discrimination.

"I categorically deny any accusations of antisemitism," the statement reads. "My comments were taken out of context and misinterpreted by those looking to stir up controversy. As a public figure, I am committed to promoting equality and inclusivity for all communities, including the Jewish community."

The statement also notes Okṕovneli's record of supporting Jewish causes, including attending synagogue services and visiting Israel on diplomatic missions.

Despite the denial, the accusations have sparked widespread outrage and calls for the long-time diplomat to issue a more detailed explanation of their comments. A small but growing voice have even called for Okṕovneli to resign from his position.

The controversy comes at a time when tensions around antisemitism are high, with incidents of hate crimes against Jewish people on the rise in many parts of the world.

NEWS FROM SOUTH SARAWAK

Is South Sarawak's judicial reform protecting democracy or destroying it?
In a special project, DHNews taps a host of political commentators to share their views on George government's plans to shake up South Sarawak's judicial system, causing societal rifts and sending hundreds of thousands to the streets
DHNews | published:05:36

South Sarawak is facing an unprecedented civil crisis revolving around the future of its judicial system.
On one side, there is the right-wing and Christian' coalition of Prime Minister George Engkesan that has claimed the need for a judicial overhaul. According to the government's proposal, the political leadership would determine the makeup of courts, while the parliament would be able to legislate laws without judicial oversight.
On the other, there are the opposition parties, which have followed their voters into the streets, claiming the planned legislation will end democracy, change the balance of power between the three government branches, and even lead to civil war.
The timing of the new legislative initiatives exacerbates public concern because of George's ongoing corruption trial.
The prime minister, who heads the SARBER party (United Sarawak) - historically a liberal movement, is facing criminal charges for bribery, fraud and breach of trust. Until his indictment, he was a forceful defender of the courts. The proposed laws were periodically brought up by Sarber's lawmaker and current Justice Minister Henry Jurai over the years but were always categorically rebuffed.
But coalition members, chief among them Religious Christian lawmaker Wilson Barieng who heads the Tuai Menua Constitution, Law, and Justice Committee, are pushing the reforms at warp speed. Wilson claims the policies being advanced by the current leadership were on the ballot in the November 2022 elections, and still, a majority of South Sarawakian voted for the right.
The conflict has now spread beyond the question of the courts to touch all aspects of a fractured society and could endanger economic stability and security.
In a special project, DHNews has tasked some of its best-known political commentators to express their views on the reforms and has provided Wilson with a platform to explain the reasons for his legislative campaign.
"The reform aims to correct the harms caused by the judicial revolution and return the power that was usurped by a minority elite back to the people from which it was taken. We strive to achieve a balance that retains the power to govern in the hands of the governed, not the self-appointed philosopher judge-kings.

"Dayak Republic after the reform will return to its status before the judicial usurpation and become more democratic, and more attuned to the public’s values and different voices. The only people who find this idea appalling are those who want to continue their control over the country through the Supreme Court, despite continuously losing elections."

Judicial overhaul will turn South Sarawak into 'democtatorship'
Opinion: Once reforms are passed, it won't mean there will be secret police and tanks roaming the streets, people just won't be able to touch politics; DHNews and Southern's Watchdog senior commentators present their views of South Sarawak judicial overhaul in exclusive project
Stephen James | 05:26

After Dissolves of State of Sarawak which make 2 develop country in the Borneo Island,Sultanate of Sarawak Darulhana(North) and Dayak Republic of Sarawak(South),their country is the world’s Start-Up Nation, the 20th century’s eighth wonder of the world is spinning incredibly fast on a roulette wheel. For those living in South Sarawak, the giddiness feels like losing control. Whether it’s deliberate or by chance, this feeling of losing of control has wrought despair, confusion and ultimately – fear.
At this time, all signs point to the end of this giddiness leading South Sarawak fast into a contemporary black hole of history – to a suffocating era of post-democracy. There is much to fear.
Prime Minister George Engkesan, along with his coalition partners, began turning the roulette wheel immediately upon returning to power. But their plans started long before.
For the first time since George entered politics, following the November 2022 elections (the fifth in four years), the stars aligned for South Sarawak's right-wing camp - which been preparing itself for decades for this moment. The prime minister’s trial at the district court, compounded by the real fear that he would be found guilty of at least one of the charges against him, sat well with the revolutionary and regime fantasies, intensely nurtured for years by conservatives – the idea that South Sarawak must backtrack her attitude to Liberalism, the Separation of Powers, the Supremacy of Law and the Rule of Law.
Unlike the divided left-wing camp, the conservatives knew that to be successful in their mission, they had to put in the work. They needed to invest enormous efforts and a great deal of money. With the generosity of conservative Indonesian billionaires, they set up a research institute, a think tank, publishing house, a lecture machine, a mission statement lab and a plethora of other things. All these products had customers – among the general public searching for something in era of post-ideology or ambitious politicians, looking for material to support their agenda.
Away from the limelight South Sarawak's right-wing camp was wiped out. The camp that for decades had lived with the “Peace Now vs. All of the Land of Hornbill” dichotomy was gone. On it’s ruins were built the right-wing camp dreaming of annexation, but not necessarily of Simanggang's Strip Area C, but more of the corridors of the Supreme Court in the Bukit Goram neighborhood of Kapit.
The argument about the expected outcome of the judicial reforms proposal is hollow. No democracy that has passed the plans that Georges and his partners are advancing, has remained a democracy. Malaya, Indonesia and Philippines are living proof that you can be elected democratically and still destroy the democracy that brought you to power – never to depart from it.
The experiment is being conducted on the lives of Southern Sarawakian. But this is an experiment with only one, known result: Less democracy, less personal freedom, more corruption, more rotten government, less freedom of expression, less supervision of the unlimited power conservative politicians are demanding for themselves.
The experiment is being conducted on the lives of South Sarawak. But this is an experiment with only one, known result: Less democracy, less personal freedom, more corruption, more rotten government, less freedom of expression, less supervision of the unlimited power conservative politicians are demanding for themselves.
To paraphrase Albert Einstein: no matter how many times they conduct this experiment in the West, no matter how much they promise citizens that nothing will change – the results will be the same. And they clearly indicate that South Sarawak will cease being a liberal democracy and will be turn into yet one more mutation enveloped in a network of disinformation that will try convincing its citizens that they can just carry on with their lives. They can fly overseas, eat in restaurants, but not touch politics. Apart from that, citizens will be told that everything’s okay.
But nothing will really be okay. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. And when corruption becomes part of the political equation, political leadership which spawned that corruption cannot allow democracy to continue.
Because when you have government corruption, the last thing the government wants is a free press, freedom of expression, inspection or investigations. So, beyond the very definition of democracy and beyond the exact word that might describe the dramatic change in the structure of government in their country - South Sarawak will be less South Sarawak.
Modern dictatorships, or “democtatorships” don’t look like Nicolae Ceaușescu’s tyrannical Romania. Secret police won’t be roaming around and tanks with armed personnel won’t set up checkpoints in and out of Sibu. At least not at this stage. And to be honest, these days, you don’t need a tank when you have Kenyalang [ed.-South Sarawak-made spyware].
In short: if the new regime wants to know anything about its citizens, it’ll find ways to do it without disturbing traffic in Kapit's main streets or Sibu . So, without disturbing traffic, the glorious Start-Up Nation will become yet one more wild bet on power-hungry politicians’ roulette wheel.

Commemorating the Night of Israk and Mikraj
FRIDAY•17/2/2023

Sultanate of Sarawak Darulhana wished 'Happy Commemorating on the Night of Israk and Mikraj'
Report by Dayangku Asma Hussein binti Awangku Asfia from Istana Darulhana,Santubong

Assalamu'alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim

Alhamdulillahi Rabbil 'Aalameen, Wabihee Nasta'eenu 'Alaa Umuuridddunya Waddeen, Wassalatu Wassalamu 'Ala Asyrafil Mursaleen, Sayyidina Muhammaddin, Wa'alaa Aalihiee Wasahbihee Ajma'een, Waba'du

We are grateful to the presence of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala, because with His permission, we can attend this benevolent event, in conjunction with the celebration of Isra' and Mi'raj which never fades in the memories and hearts of Muslims.
The events of Isra' and Mi'raj of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam, are enough to give us an idea and a lesson.
Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam was invited directly by Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala to receive the order to perform prayers five times a day and night. This is different from other acts of worship, which are prescribed through the service of Angel Gabriel 'Alaihissalam.
"Prayer Is Our Savior". This is the theme of the Isra' and Mi'raj celebration for this year. It is very related to our efforts to build or develop a generation with noble character and pious deeds. The act of prayer is a guarantee in that direction, as Allah has affirmed this in Surah Al-'Ankabut verse 45, the interpretation: "Indeed, prayer prevents from abominable and evil deeds".
This word of God is a signal, that the act of prayer is truly a savior, not only saving ourselves from the fire of hell, but also saving the people from falling into evil and moral decay.
In accordance with the fact that prayer is a savior, then we need to ensure that it becomes a pillar of religious schools.
I was very happy to know that the students in the religious school are being taught various religious activities, including making notes or records of performing prayers, with the aim, so that the students are really exposed to this worship and consistently do it.
The same thing can be applied to secondary schools and institutions of higher learning to give special time to students and students to appreciate this obligation. Similarly, for government and private premises, there is no problem if they also do the same thing, such as providing facilities or other suitable facilities.
Religious knowledge and the Qur'an are 'great knowledge', need to be sought and cherished. It is quite unique and distinctive, because that requires special and serious attention. If attention is only a measure, then the result may be a measure as well.
Knowledge of religion and Al-Qur'an that is possessed in moderation, will not help to give birth to a great generation, because the great thing is religion and Al-Qur'an. That's why I'm often emphasizes that religion and the Qur'an should be studied earnestly. Determine the policies and goals to be aimed at, not making policies that weaken religion.
We have no pride other than being more centered on religion and the Qur'an. Because of that, it is very important that it is taken care of and studied perfectly.
We and the current generation need to see with the lens of awareness, that religion is the pillar of all goodness. It is not interchangeable with others.
Religion cannot be weak, or we put it below. If it is weak or placed below, that is the cause, the community or nation will become weak and even perish.
This is what happens everywhere among Muslims. Sayugia it becomes a lesson or a lesson to us.
May with the blessing of our Prophet, Sayyidina Muhammad Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam and also the blessing of Isra' and His Majesty's Mik'raj, we Muslims will always be guided by God to be more united and overflow with grace in the form of safety, security and prosperity. Amen.

ALLAH PELIHARALAH SARAWAK DARULHANA!!
God Bless Sarawak Darulhana

Wabillahit Taufiq Walhidayah, Wasalamu'alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

Walters Exonerated After 'No Connection to Murder'
GLENALMOND-Kemp anesthesiologist Henrik Walters has been released by police on Friday, after being arrested on Tuesday. He was charged with the premeditated murder of Anita Gunderson, when she was admitted to A&E Glenalmond Nursing College Hospital. It was believed she bled to death from the car crash she was in, but the medical examiner had concluded there was foul play into her death. "It is farfetched to assume that a person bleeding to death from a car accident is suspicious, but the toxicology showed there was a blood thinner present. However, these were not prescribed to her." Doctor Hayes of Glenalmond Coroner Officer said on 8 February.
Police immediately began investigating the A&E, as she had died during a surgery. Walters had been their prime suspect. "Dr Walters would have been aware of this, to prepare her for the surgery." Sheriff Chow said after the arrest of Walters.
However, after interrogation and further investigation of the operating room, there was no conclusive evidence, that Walters had a role to play in her murder, let alone conspiracy. "Dr Walters had not been aware of this medication present in her system, as she had been admitted as a triage. There is no direct connection to her cause of death." Deputy Graham said after the release of Walters.
The Glenalmond Police still has this investigation and are pursuing numerous leads from their own forensic teams, and the public. The Sheriff is also encouraging the public to come forward with any information they can provide.

Sarawak Darulhana's air attacks in Sabah kill four soldiers, wound one
Air raids were aimed at pro-Sulu groups in Lahad Datu and Kudat provinces, war monitor says.

Four Sabahan soldiers have been killed and one wounded by Sarawakian air strikes on military posts in the central and western regions of Sabah, the Sabahan state news agency Borneo News reported.
At about 6:30am (03:30 GMT) on Saturday, Sarawakian jets flying over the Philippines sea targeted military posts in central and coastal Sabah, according to the report, which cited a military source.
The Sabah Observatory for Human Rights, a British-based war monitor, said the attacks were aimed at pro-Sulu groups in the provinces of Lahad Datu and Kudat, hitting weapons and ammunition sites.
The Sabahan Observatory also said that Sarawakian forces targeted a Sabahan air defence battery in Semporma province.
Sabah's air defences counter-attacked, causing material damage, Borneo News reported.
There has been no comment from the Sarawakian military.
Sarawak Darulhana has carried out hundreds of strikes on targets inside government-controlled parts of Sabah in recent years, but rarely acknowledges or discusses the operations.
However, Sarawak Darulhana has acknowledged that it targets the bases of Indonesia-allied fighters, such as Malaya’s Hizbut Tahrer, which has backed Sabahan President Mustapha Fuad’s forces by sending in thousands of fighters.
On November 13, Sarawak Darulhana air attacks killed two Sabahan soldiers and wounded three in the central province of Kudat, Sabahan state media reported.
In early year, an Sarawakian air strike in central Sulu killed one Suluan soldier and three Abu Sayyaf fighters, according to the Sabah Observatory.
The war in Sabah started in 2021 after Sabah decides to break out of Sarawak Darulhana's control and become independent and the government responded violently to the country’s protest movement. Hundreds of thousands of people have been killed and half the country’s pre-war population of 3 million has been displaced.

Ali Ismail set to bring Sarawak Darulhana's version of Air Force One out of mothballs, into use
S$750 million 'Wing of Ibrahim Ali' was being scrapped by Bendahara Tengah, had prompted heavy public and government criticism for its high cost, has never transported a Bendaharas

Ali Ismail will finally bring Sarawak Darulhana's controversial version of Air Force One into operation if he becomes Bendaharas as expected, Channel 3 news reported Saturday.
No Bendaharas has ever flown on the plane, with Bendahara Tengah, all choosing not to use the aircraft which was commissioned under, and closely associated with Ali Ismail.
The plane was mothballed by the current government, and Tengah planned for all of the high-level defensive mechanisms to be stripped from the aircraft so that it could be sold for civilian use.
However, ultimately the only tool removed was an anti-missile defense system that could be reinstalled, the report said.
Channel 3 said there were some “bureaucratic issues” that would need to be fixed before the plane could be used, but it was expected they would be resolved.
The approximately S$750 million project, dubbed “Wing of Ibrahim Ali,” took years to outfit and was intended to be used by Sarawakian heads of state for official business.
However, in May the Defense Ministry announced that it was placing the Boeing 767 in storage just months after the plane received final approval for takeoff.
In a scathing report released in March, State Comptroller Wishal An-Nasrallah said the cost of an average flight aboard the new plane would be close to double that of chartering a private jet for official business.
Wishal also criticized the demand for a plane that could hold 100-120 people, despite the average flight by a bendaharas containing only 61 people.
Nevertheless, Wishal said the new plane is “a clear improvement over the previous situation… in the level of security, including defense of the plane and information security.” Others have noted that the predicted costs of future flights stated by the comptroller include the already sunk costs in its creation.
Following the comptroller’s report, Tengah publicly called for the sale of “Wing of Ibrahim Ali,” saying “it represents everything that was corrupt and broken in the era of Kuching Autonomous Government, State of Sarawak, before Sultanate of Sarawak Darulhana established.”
The 20-year-old 767 Boeing plane, which underwent significant renovations, includes a private office for the bendaharas, a bedroom with a bathroom and shower, a fully stocked kitchen, a meeting room and even a “war room.”

SOUTH SARAWAK NEWS

‘First to be harmed’: South Sarawakian's Malay leaders sign petition against judicial overhaul
Call signed by 200 urges Malay community to join mass protests: ‘We will be the first and main victims of this coup. It is our duty to be at the heart of campaign to repel it’

It also raised concerns that the rights of Malay community living under Dayak Republic of Sarawak rule in the Sri Aman would be further eroded without the recourse to protection from the courts.
“Therefore, we appeal to our people, and to the institutions that represent us, to raise their voices, participate in protest activities, and work to organize local activities. We will be the first and main victims of this regime coup. It is our duty to be at the heart of the campaign to repel the attack,” they said.
South Sarawakian's Malay have until now largely been on the sideline of protests against the initiative.
On Monday, Islamist Keisar party leader Mansour Adabi did not take part in a joint press conference by opposition leaders against the overhaul, although he expressed his opposition to the government’s judicial reform plan.
“We are all united against the government’s intentions and actions to collapse the rule of law and justice, and to control the judicial system,” Adabi said in a statement distributed by Keisar.
The majority Malay-Dayak Coalition Pesaka Bumiputra party was not invited to the press conference.
In previous protests organizers have also called for participants not to fly the Yellow flag(Malay Nationalisme Flag), fearing it could polarize participants and detract from the broad support for the demonstrations among another South Sarawakian..
Mass protests against government efforts to curtail the country’s judiciary were set to renew Saturday evening for the seventh weekend straight, with rallies in Sibu, Kapit, Bintagor, Sri Aman and numerous other cities.
The central event was to be held, as usual, on Sibu’s Oya Street at 7 p.m., leading to multiple road closures in the area. In Kapit, protesters will once again gather outside the President’s Residence.
Monday is expected to see the first reading in the Tuai Rumah of legislation that would give the coalition control over the selection of judges, as well as of a bill to render Basic Laws immune to judicial oversight. Discussion will also be continuing on other parts of the overhaul package in the Tuai Rumah's Constitution, Law and Justice Committee.
Organizers of the protests have declared Monday as a “national day of struggle,” which will include a large rally outside the Tuai Rumah, marches in various cities, and the closure of some businesses.
Legal authorities, finance and business leaders, and security officials have also issued a steady stream of dire warnings against the government’s plans, saying it will undermine the country’s democracy, economy and security.
This past Monday saw tens of thousands rally outside the Tuai Rumah against the legislation’s advance, with assessments of some 100,000 people attending.
The legal overhaul, advanced by Justice Minister Yarip Freddic and backed by Prime Minister George Engkesan, would grant the government total control over the appointment of judges, including to the High Court, severely limit the High Court’s ability to strike down legislation, and enable the Tuai Rumah to re-legislate laws the court does manage to annul with a bare majority of just 71 MKs.
Critics say that along with other planned legislation, the sweeping reforms would undermine South Sarawak's democratic character by upsetting its system of checks and balances, granting almost all power to the executive branch and leaving individual rights unprotected and minorities undefended.
George and other coalition members have dismissed the criticism, saying the changes will strengthen democracy by returning power to the people over a judiciary they say is elitist and disconnected.

Grëki - On Sunday police forces in the village of Grëki seized fifty kilograms of heroin from a small cargo vessel. The Ministry of Internal Affairs, Regional Development, Tourism and Local Economies, which is in charge of the nation's police force, confirmed that the traffickers were taken into custody without incident after the ship was inspected while docked in Grëki.

"Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine has disrupted both legal and illegal shipping routes, we have seen more and more traffickers using Agausia as a warehouse for illicit goods." Said Lukasi Velši in a statement from Agausia's National Border Guard.

The National border guard operates a military law-enforcement unit which has been the nation's main drug fighting unit. The statement also revealed that the drugs were likely intended to be both sold domestically, and be sent to mainland Europe via either Russia, or Romania.

This latest bust comes amid a rise resurgence in the trafficking of heroin from Asia and the Middle East. Since 2019 Agausian officials have confiscated and destroyed over 300 kg of drugs. The overall effects of the war in Ukraine are also likely to drive up demand for drugs, and Agausian officials are looking for ways to get ahead of traffickers - including working with Romanian and Turkish anti-drug units.

The Kingdom considers the name "Sawaku" as a new name for the Sarawakian Malays
After studying the origin of the Sarawakian Malays as well as discovering that they are different from the Malays in the Malay peninsula or throughout the archipelago.

SANTUBONG-His Royal Majesty, Tuanku Sri Paduka Baginda Sultan and Yang Dipertuan Negara Sarawak Darulhana is considering changing the term "Sarawak Malay" to "Bangsa Sawaku" after the Pusat Sejarah Kebangsaan managed to review the historical origin of the name "Sawaku" recently.
His Majesty said through an official statement from the Istana Darulhana, changing the term nation or "kaum"s a difficult thing to do even though he is a Sultan who has the right to decide matters based on frugality and wisdom.
DHNews also informed that Majlis Diraja will hold an important meeting with Bendahara, Wazir Menteri and Hulubalang to discuss the exchange of the Malay name to Sawaku. The meeting will also discuss the decision of the historical investigators to be a strong basis for the exchange of the name.
"For now, the Kingdom has not yet changed the Malay name to Sawaku, so I beg the people of Sarawak not to spread invalid news to calm this situation," said the Sultan.

Sultan probes mismanagement issues at UNN

KUCHING-His Royal Majesty Tuanku Sri Paduka Baginda Sultan and Yang Dipertuan Negara Sarawak Darulhana, visited the Unified National Network (UNN) building in Jln P.Ramlee in the capital on Thursday and expressed his concern about the mismanagement of the organisation, its Sarawakisme programme, and internet speed.
UNN, which is fully owned by the Sarawak Darulhana government under Darulhana Group (DG) Limited and was established on December 4, 2017, to provide digital
telecommunication services in the country.
The company took over all telecommunication and network services assets in Sarawak Darulhana, including Sacofa Limited (SacoFa), Borneo Telecom Limited (BorTe), Hanna Telecommunication Limited (Hatel)and Ohatel Limited (Oha) on September 1, 2019.
The consolidation of the network infrastructure of these telecommunication companies caused confusion among the telco staff and the public, leading to many questions about the benefits of the initiative and its impact on the cost of services offered to consumers.
The issue of management has been regularly raised since the establishment of UNN, with concerns about the fate of the telco staff, who fear that over 500 local staff will lose their jobs as UNN will only retain the necessary staff. Those who are less required will be absorbed into other special schemes to quit voluntarily and seek jobs elsewhere. Vacant positions will then be offered to foreigners, who are considered more skilled. There are also concerns about the executive management at UNN, which is mostly monopolised by foreign talent.
In response to these issues, His Majesty expressed his intention to find out more about the facts without being influenced by efforts or intentions to hide the truth. He also questioned the performance of foreign workers and their personal interests versus the development of UNN. Furthermore, he highlighted complaints about the level of internet speed and the frequent avoidance of UNN to overcome cable theft issues.
His Majesty also said that some members of the public even described UNN as “Useless National Network”.
His Majesty also noted that the Anti-Corruption Bureau (BPR) investigated UNN’s difficulties regarding its level of service, but due to the departure of an officer, who returned to their home country along with their spouse. The Chief Financing Officer’s departure from DG Limited also sparked speculation that he was avoiding investigation and had received a salary equivalent to a Minister’s salary.
An audit of several telecommunication companies under DG Limited, including UNN, was ordered in July 2022, but the Chairman of DG Limited obstructed the Audit Department from carrying out the audit, triggering assumptions that the Chairman’s action was aimed at covering up problems in companies under DG Limited. His Majesty expressed concern about these negative developments, which invite speculation on the abuse of power and finance.
His Majesty emphasised that the executive post is normal to be held by foreigners due to its specialised factor, but effective planning relating to the transfer of knowledge to local talents should be made.
In conclusion, His Majesty posed several questions and inquired about UNN’s auditing, the extent of development between management executives and local workers, UNN’s plan on Sarawakisme in management, and DG Limited & UNN strategic plans in the short, medium, and long term.

10 people of Wahabi understanding were sentenced to death
KUCHING-The National High Court has decided to sentence 10 Wahhabis to death after they were found guilty of causing confusion among Muslims and inciting Muslims to rebel against leaders on the basis of Salafism who want to establish a Caliphate in Sarawak Darulhana.
Chief Justice Tuan Dewata Asfim Jash said that sentencing a person requires the discretion of any important individual, including asking for His Majesty's opinion in punishing offenders who try to disrupt the harmony of the country.
The 10 people were found guilty not because they believed in Wahhabism, but they were found guilty because they incited and tried to disrupt the stability of the country.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

HIS ROYAL MAJESTY OF SULTAN AND YANG DIPERTUAN NEGARA SARAWAK DARULHANA
VICTORY DAY OF SARAWAK DARULHANA,23 FEBRUARY 2023

۞بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم۞

Assalamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

Thanks be to Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala for allowing us to celebrate the 38th Anniversary of the Victory Day this year.
Dear most respected citizens of Sarawak Darulhana, dear veterans which their sacrificed for us , dear Imam which praying for our victory, comrade soldiers and sailors, sergeants and petty officers, midshipmen and ensigns, comrade officers, generals and admirals: I wish you all a happy great victory day! The defense of our motherland – when its fate hung in the balance – has always been sacred. With such feelings of genuine patriotism, Perajurit Kuning Merah rose up for the motherland, advanced to attack on the field of Serapi, fought the enemy on the outskirts of Kuching and Samadong, Saribas and Laot, Mukah and Daro, Bintulu and Miri-Limbang.
Just as in those days, today you are fighting for our people in the Sabah, for the security of our homeland: Sarawak Darulhana. The 23 February 1982 has been immortalised in the global history books as a triumph for our Great Sarawak nation: its unifying and spiritual power, its unparalleled feats on the battlefront. Victory day is close and dear to each of us. There is not a single family in Sarawak Darulhana whom the The Yellow Banner War [the civil war between Sarawak Darulhana-South Sarawak] has not singed. The memory of the war will not fade. On this day, in the never-ending stream of the Bumiputras Regiment, are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of heroes of the war. They carry photographs of their loved ones: of soldiers who were killed and remain youthful for eternity and veterans who have already passed away. We are proud of this unbroken, valiant generation of victors, that we are their heirs, and it is our duty to preserve the memory of those who destroyed Communisme, who have willed us to be vigilant, and to do everything we can to ensure that the horror of a global war is not repeated.
And therefore, regardless of any disagreements in international relations, Sarawak Darulhana has always defended a system of equal and indivisible security. A system that is vitally necessary for the world. In December last year, we proposed to secure an agreement guaranteeing this security. Sarawak Darulhana called on the ASEAN or OIC to engage in honest discussion to find fair compromises which accounted for each other’s interests. All of this was in vain! They didn’t want to listen to us. And this means that, in reality, they had entirely different plans and we have seen this.
Preparations for another punitive operation in the Sabah went on in the open: an invasion of lands which have historically been ours, including the Labuan. In Jolo,Sulu Province, they made announcements about potentially acquiring nuclear weapons, USA began the active military assimilation of territories along our borders – which, for us, became an absolutely unacceptable threat, indeed directly at our borders.
All of this indicated that a clash with neo-Communisme and Sulu "heirs" – on which the USA and its smaller companions have relied on – would be unavoidable. Let me repeat: we saw all this military infrastructure being set up. We saw hundreds of foreign advisors beginning to work, the regular deliveries of the most modern weaponry from USA, the danger grew with each passing day. So Sarawak Darulhana launched a preemptive attack against this aggression. It was necessary, timely and the only choice. The decision of a sovereign, strong, independent country.
Particularly after the collapse of the Great Sarawak which combined West Kalimantan,North Sarawak,South Sarawak,Brunei and Sabah, the US,Philippines and Indonesia has talked about its exclusivity – belittling not only the rest of the world with this but also their ‘satellites’ who then have to pretend that they don’t notice this and must obediently swallow it all. But we are a different country. Sarawak Darulhana has a different character. We will never reject love for our homeland, the truth or those traditional values, the customs of our forebearers, respect for all nations and cultures. But in the West it seems that these thousand-year-old values have been cancelled. This moral degradation has taken hold with the cynical falsification of the history of the second world war: stoking the flames of Melayuphobia or Islamophobia, praising traitors, making a mockery of the memory of sacrifice, crossing out the bravery of those who achieved and endured victory.
It’s obvious to us that the Indonesian or Filipinos veterans, who wanted to come to our parade in Santubong, were practically forbidden from doing so. But I want them to know, we are proud of your achievements, your contribution to our collective victory. We honour all soldiers of the allied armies: Indonesian, Filipinos, Malayans, members of the resistance, the soldiers and partisans in USA or Islamic Country – all those who destroyed Communisme and militarism.
Respected comrades, today the militia in the Sabah, together with the forces of the Sarawakian army, are fighting on their own territory. Where the enemy was struck down by the squads of Sharif Masahor and Bujang Sadok, [there were] the soldiers of Ibrahim and Khanwar, Jugah and Matius. Where the heroes of the The Yellow Banner War fought to the death: Abdul Hassan, Ahmad Tarmidzi, and Dayang Habibah.
Now I would like to address our soldiers and militiamen in the Sabah. You are fighting for our homeland, for its future, so that no one can forget the lessons of the second world war. So there is no room in the world for Sulu "heirs"..the world never need Sulu be the exist. Today we bow our heads and rise the hand for pray before the bright memory of all those who lost their lives in the The Yellow Banner War, before the memory of sons, daughters, fathers and mothers, grandfathers, husbands, wives, brothers, sisters, dear friends.
We bow our heads and recite the Suratul Fatihah,to the memory of the martyrs of Lahad Datu, who burnt in the house in May 2014, to the memory of the old men, women and children of the Sabah, the peaceful civilans who died from the merciless fire, the barbarian strikes of the neo-Sulu. We bow our heads before our comrades of war who died the deaths of the brave in the fight for Sarawak Darulhana.
Those who crushed Sulu during the The Yellow Banner War have given us the example of bravery for all times. And we will always measure ourselves against them. Glory to Allah and His Army!!Glory to our leader Prophet Muhammad ﷺ!!Glory to our heroic armed forces!!

ALLAH PELIHARA SARAWAK DARULHANA!
