Deep within China, evil lurks. A virus has spread among local communities. Now, world peace is under threat by a new enemy that can wipe out human civilization...

With this victory India receives eastern Pakistan, (modern day Bangladesh). During the late 60s India signs a pact with USSR for protection against China. This stops any further aggression between China and India. Because of this deed the Indian government became more and more left wing. It culminated in the storming of the voting house in 1993 it caused chaos for the next 4 years. Finally the Socialist Republic of India. It now is the 3rd largest economy in the world, and is an economic hub of the Indian Ocean.

Since I am in the region of Southern Italy, guess I will be Italy, as that is the IRL nation where Cannonio is. A difference however is that the monarchy stays, even though it is a figurehead now. This also makes it more patriotic and nationalist as they have a long-lasting symbol to look towards. This makes Italy enter a period of rapid advancement during the 1960s and 70s, and becomes a rival in power to the UK and France. However, it has to stay peaceful otherwise nuclear will will begin as an escalation happens. During the 1990s, it helped out the Croatians and Bosnians in the Yugoslav war in exchange for a bit of islands on the coast. There have been a few attempted assassinations of the King by nationalists, but if that happens, there will be an heir that takes his/her place.

II. Novaya is one of the only few nations that are smart enough to know what is going on and how to actually act on it. They have the brains, they have the guts, they have the sheer audacity to always win. Basically, the Novayans are a nation of literal smartasses, unlike some or most nations IRL.
III. Novaya has a small active military force (200,000-300,000) but a large reserve force (1,200,000-1,300,000). Every Novayans were responsible gun owners.
IV. Novaya is a hereditary military dictatorship, though the people hold equal power. So consider it a sort of semi-constitutional stratocratic monarchy.
V. The Novayan archipelago is actually the Philippine archipelago.
VI. Novaya likes and wants to colonize space.

Basically, after Costa Rica's separation from the Federal Republic of Central America in 1841, it remained interested in joining Panama. Although, it was not until 1903, when Panama became independent from Colombia that they finally became a single nation. Later on, with support of the US, they bought the Galapagos off Ecuador to build a military base, but the plans were scrapped and it simply remained as it is today.
