What about the cool spaceships, funky aliens, and technology that seems as if it can't get better. Well, this is the purpose of this thread. What will your nation do in the future?

In the future, Envoy will collapse as a communist nation and then form a thriving democracy that will most likely flourish. When aliens are discovered, Envoy will guarantee rights for them. Soon, Envoy will soon be a lot like a futuristic version of Berlin.

Or the Voice of the Spawn will turn and create a different cultural all together in which case we will be frozen in time until we are picked back up. 1 cycle that is near on 16 years old. But we the spawn do not evolve.

Slowly and quietly the mere presence of one more American allied nation than our own world would turn the world more Americanized and liberal democracy would reign supreme. Extremist nations would either be invaded or slowly become more docile and friendly to the western world. As for Boldonia itself, it would probably just continue to exist as it is. The whole premise of Boldonia from a world building premise was to build a place first and ideology later to go with it. As such there isn't really one "big plan" for Boldonia and its going to stay as it is unless something drastic happens IRL and thus in Boldonia's universe aswell.

In terms of research, we already pour in an absurd amount of money into education and academic research - this being something Huterric society values so highly that not even right wing parties dare decrease this funding - so hopefully the results of that propel our nation into an even stronger power.

The existence of the socialist Aquaria not only proved that communism has not perished, but also that communism with a respect to human and political rights does exist, which pretty much made the western anti-communist force quite hard to judge. The Aquaria, together with its allies like Britain, France, Germany, the rest of the European Union, and even Russia, East Asia and most of the African and South American countries pretty much created a large force that is enough to contend the United States' aggression, stopping them to gain control to the whole world, which is also a main reason the European Union in our universe can be much less dependent.

The next step of what we will be doing? Continue the step of finishing the industrialization and attempt to make full automation possible. Then, we are probably doing something Zhdanov (oh I mean the TNO one) will be proud of, which is to explore the space and set up the Solar Federation. This is going to be expanded infinitely, whether we become the first political entity in the universe that aims for galactic federalism, or being annexed by one another which is thousand or million years earlier to start their aim.

We will likely become the Second Crimson Empire under King James after taking land on other planets and forming colonies, as well as becoming pretty well off in terms of space fairing.

It has been prophesized that the Empire will triumph in its Great Crusades and reign as the predominant superpower of the Milky Way Galaxy for more than 4,000 years before collapsing overnight sometime in the early 15th Millennium.

There are a few possible futures for the Yomese Empire.

The first branch of timeline is the most tragic, but least likely: a security flaw allows that royalty of the empire and this nation, Sakai, to be kidnapped and experimented on by their rivals in the nation of Maochengshi. They’re used to make super soldier demons and take over the Yomese Empire and Sakai becomes a demilitarized zone as the Empire falls into another civil war. This branches again. If Maochengshi’s faction is successful, they go on to infiltrate the human realm, starting a holy world war that lasts decades, devastating humanity and civilization. For a time, Shinto is established as the most powerful religion until the heavens are able to finally overpower Yomi, leaving the rest of humanity to rebuild in the wake. If the rebel faction is successful, the royal family is liberated and the government-in-exile uses the full might of the imperial militias to punish Maochengshi’s faction. The nation of Sakai is restored as the imperial capital and humanity is never the wiser of the demons’ goings on. This future follows the same as the other two branches from here. Think of it as a sort of course correction if the rebels win.

The second branch of the timeline is tragic for demons and is moderately possible if nothing changes. If humanity continues stagnating as it does and nonbelief grows, the already minuscule faith in Shintoism will die out. First, the demons will begin disappearing, as they’re somewhat overpopulated for the amount of belief that’s spread thin already. Eventually, as even the strongest demons fade away, the gods too will disappear and the religion will be dead, gone the way of the Pantheon and the Norse.

The last branch of the timeline is the most ambitious — the good end if you will — and is the current trajectory if all goes relatively well. As humanity begins to decompose itself, another great war breaks out, drawing in even Japan. The war does not just usher in new technologies, but humans fearing for their lives return to religion in their time of need. As belief returns to Shintoism, the Yomese Empire narrowly avoids what they assumed was their assured destruction in the previous branch of time. As Japan and the rest of the world switch from a war footing back to civilian technologies, a new space age is kicked off. Humans become a spacefaring people, and they bring their traditions and beliefs with them across the stars. Fast forward to the 9th Millennium, and humanity lives not just in countries, but in systems of planets and stars. Following them through the seas of space, demons also colonize new planets, having Yomi as a hub world. They style themselves as “aliens” to humanity and the Yomese Empire has an intermittent trade partner / enemy relationship. In such a distant time, one of humans’ and demons’ most recent discoveries is a humble planet called Phoebus-d. It orbits a G-type main sequence star and based on analysis has 6 well-defined continents, is about 70% water by area, has an atmospheric mix of Nitrogen and Oxygen, and appears to already be inhabited. The inhabitants also appear to have colonized their neighbor, Phoebus-c. Humans and demons are excited to make first contact.
