I use to play because I wanted to be in government, so I joined a regional one. Then I realized I had a penis, and just began using that with girls in real life, so I'm not really on as much. I guess I keep it mainly just for old time's sake? I dunno.

Khorata was my second nation and got DEAT'd in August 2010.
Syvorji is my current nation.

The gameplay is the forums IMO. Though I don't RP on the official forums too much, people are either unable to grasp the basics of anything or instead dogmatically worship the inofficial guidelines as divine rules.

But why do I do it? You don't unlearn a long-time habit like this overnight. Yeah, I'm yet to CTE for the first time on this nation.

I find the breadth of experience and knowledgeable people here engaging. Over the years there have been many interesting threads where I have learned something interesting and hopefully have passed knowledge on to others. I enjoy the humour displayed by many and certainly the cut and thrust of debating here is pretty damn good.

I don't think there is anyone here with whom I would not be happy to share a jar with (or a cuppa if yer under age), which is pretty unusual for many of the other forums and sites I have been involved in over the decades.

This is why I keep coming back here...in overall terms its still one of the best sites around.

I just goof off in F7, sometimes participate on NSG and once attempted to RP. I don't play the game, although I thought about it not too long ago. But the effort of making a factbook and the endless squabbles in II discouraged me.

It is not, "Where do I play NationStates," it is, "WHY do I play NationStates."
