It is a era of peace and reform across the Galaxy. The virtuous GALACTIC REPUBLIC is coming out of the dark times, a savage era where the forces of good clashed with those of evil in open war the burned across the Galaxy. Alongside their Jedi protectors, the Republic defeated their enemies, the BROTHERHOOD OF DARKNESS, ruled by the powerful Sith Lords in an epic confrontation.

Unbeknownst to the Jedi or the Republic, a single Sith Lord, DARTH BANE, escaped the massacre, and founded a new Dark Order, designed to keep the Sith teachings alive, and promote their interests in secret, operating from the shadows, and using any means necessary to survive.

While the Republic rebuilds, and the Jedi appear dominant, a new Sith Lord has risen, a powerful figure with the strength to take revenge upon the foes of the Dark Side. The Jedi are unaware of this new, and growing, threat, as a few rogue members of the Order prepare to take matters in their own hands in an effort to save the Galaxy from the dominion of Evil....

Introduction

Welcome everyone to my second attempt at Star Wars RP. My first attempt being moderatley successful in a time frame where we knew nothing, I have chosen another window where Star Wars Lore is oddly silent, that being, the years after the reigns of Darths Bane and Zannah, and the Golden Era of the Old Republic. This RP begins in the year 900 BBY, essentially, 900 years before the events of A New Hope, and around 80 years after the known death of Darth Bane, the progenitor of the Rule of Two.

This RP will focus on the Jedi Order and their allies attempting to navigate the Galacitc underworld, hunting for a rumored Sith Lord. Here, criminals and bounty hunters reign, and many Jedi are doubtful the Sith have even survived the disaster on Ruusan a century prior.

I hope everyone likes the idea; I try to be original with the settings of these RP's, and while it may be daunting for some who are unfamiliar with the time frame, the events of this era can be easily described. So thanks for reading, and keep scrolling if this piques your interest!

A Brief History of the New Sith Wars and their Aftermath

This period in history, the time between Darth Bane's death in 980 BBY, and the Naboo Crisis in 32 BBY, is very sparsly written of, especially this early in the timeline. Therefore, I will be providing a brief overview of the general history of the Galaxy since the Fall of the Eternal Empire, and the time frame that this RP is set.

The events after the rebellion against the Eternal Empire that ended in 3630 BBY are fairly unclear. What is known that by the advent of the next millennium, the Republic was once more dominant in the Galaxy, with the Jedi perched in their Temple ever vigilant for the rise of the Sith.

However, in 2000 BBY, a Jedi Master named Phanius abandoned the Order to pursue the teachings of the Dark Side. Finding the struggling remains of the once mighty Sith, he declared himself the new Dark Lord, and decided to found a New Sith Empire, determined to succeed where both the original, and Vitiate's Empires, had failed. While Phanius, known to history as Darth Ruin, was killed by his own disciples in accordance with Sith tradition, his legacy was covered in blood and death.

Over the next one thousand years, the New Sith Empire ruthlessly attacked the Republic, causing trillions to lose their lives, and in many cases, forcing the Republic to nearly lose the war. Galacitc civilization itself began to decay, as the constant war destroyed system after system and even the Holonet was dismantled. Worlds that were once glowing beacons if intelligent design became savage and barbaric cultures, and the universe appeared to be regressing. In this dark time, the Jedi were forced to take far more involved leadership roles within the Republic, even as public opinion turned against them. In 1400 BBY, the last non-Jedi Supreme Chancellor stepped down, and for the next 400 years, every Chancellor would be a member of the Order. While war killed many, disease killed more, with some estimating that 2/3rds of the Galactic population was ill or dead.

After almost 1000 years of combat, and a ruined and flaming galaxy left between them, the Republic and New Sith Empire were both exhausted and near collapse. For their part, the Sith, who had proved so effective in the early stages of the War, were now embroiled in numerous petty civil wars, with Warlords fighting each other, and launching personal crusades against the Republic rather than attempting to form a coherent strategy. For its part, the Republic was teetering on the edge of destruction. Much of its territory was now ravaged by Sith raiders, and even more were directly controlled by the Dark Side Warlords. Lacking a strong government or a military powerful enough to effectively defend itself, the Republic relied on Jedi to reclaim systems and protect their civilians. These Jedi often became revered figures, and many took independent control of the systems they had saved, standing as protectors and "Jedi Lords" over the poverty stricken worlds of the Republic. During this time, the Jedi High Council on Coruscant competed directly for authority over the Order with the Jedi Grand Council, made up mostly of Jedi Lords that had chosen to remain in the field.

In 1010 BBY, a Jedi prodigy named Skere Kaan defected to the Sith, and proved strong enough to unite the warring factions of the Empire into a new army, his Brotherhood of Darkness, declaring each of his followers a Dark Lord of the Sith in their own right. Using this new force, Kaan assaulted the Republic, intent of taking control of the ravaged Galaxy once and for all. In response, the influential Jedi Lord known as Hoth pooled the Order's resources together to face Kaan. The two sides clashed on Ruusan in 1000 BBY.

After seven battles on the planet's surface, it became clear that the Brotherhood of Darkness would be defeated. In response, the Kaan and his most loyal followers created a thought bomb, a darkside ability that could destroy the very body and soul of any force sensitive in its blast radius. After the detonation, Ruusan was left lifeless, and the few Jedi that escaped reported to the Republic that the Order of the Sith Lords was defeated, with no survivors.

With the New Sith Empire destroyed, the Republic stepped in to fill the power vacuum, and enacted a series of Reforms, known as the Ruusan Reformation, the goal of which was to rebuild the Galaxy, and restructure the Republic. The Senate was once more invested with executive power, with the Chancellor an arbiter, rather than a ruler. And in order to assuage fears among the public that the Jedi would merely assume power after the war, the Order was restructured. All Jedi gave up their military ranks and holdings, disbanded their armies, fleets, and weapons of war, and swore allegiance anew to the Senate and Chancellor as keepers of the peace, not soldiers.

While the Galaxy began the slow process of recovering from a millennia of destruction and barbarism, a new threat was growing. Darth Bane, the sole surviving Sith from the Battle of Ruusan, was rebuilding his Order. Yet, under his guidance, the Sith would number but two, one master and one apprentice, in order to operate in secret, and keep Sith teaching alive. Bane would take a female named Zannah to be his apprentice, until she killed him, and took his mantle as Dark Lord. So would the cycle go for generations until the decree of the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY by the Sith Lord Darth Sidious, the culmination of the Rule of Two.

"Help me _____, your my only hope!"

Alright, alot to unpack there! This RP is designed to by a hybrid of sorts. While I desire for players to have the freedom of sandbox gameplay, the best way to ensure activity, and quality, is to have a set idea for a storyline. With that in mind, there will be three character I will need to have before this RP is to start.

1. The Jedi Grandmaster
2. The Dark Lord of the Sith
3. The Supreme Chancellor of the Republic.

Once these three slots are filled, then we can begin. However, as these three slots are extremely important to the story, they will only be allowed to be filled by either experienced players, or players with excellent applications, and preferably, a mix of the two.

Also, a special note about the Dark Lord of the Sith. If you desire to apply for them, you can. However, since they are supposed to be in hiding, there will be two applications. The first will be the public application, the application everyone here will see. That application will be what the outside world and your fellow RP'ers will see and interact with. The second application will be the Dark Lord's application, that you will only provide to me and my CO-OPs directly, so no one else knows your identity. As this RP revolved really on the actions of the Dark Lord, only apps of the highest quality will be considered. The Dark Lords apprentice, as the less important of the two rolls, can be more public.

Rules

1. My rule is law. I am the OP, if you do not like my ruling, tough luck.
2. Follow all the site rules, not metagaming, godmodding etc.
3. Strive for good quality posts. One liners are not acceptable. Be prepared to have your APP denied if it is sub-par.
4. Be creative. This is a sandbox RP, I cannot stress enough how important it is to keep in contact with your fellow players and brainstorm plot ideas with them. The RP will fall apart fast if you cannot think of your own story arcs.
5. Be active. Im not expecting a post every hour, but a post once or twice a week is not enough to keep the pace. Try for one every day or two, and if you are falling behind or cannot keep up, myself or a CO-OP will move your character along so the plot moves forward.
6. Have FUN!

The Applications

Special Note: Applications for Force Users should be primarily Jedi. They also will be limited in number if we get too many.
Special Note x2: If you are making an organization, like a company or cartel, fill out both the Organization app, and the character app for the organizations leader. Remember, the Galaxy is recovering from the worst time period in its history. That means there is lots of opportunity for gangs, crime syndicates, companies and aid workers.

For Force Users
Name: Meena Tar
Appearance: Jedi Master Meena Tar
Species: Togrutan
Gender: Female
Age: 54
Sexuality: Asexual
Allegiance Paid to: Jedi Order
Title/Occupation: Jedi Master and Member of the Jedi High Council
Skills/Powers: Arguably the greatest Jedi Seer of her time, Meena Tar is revered for her ability to peer into thr distant future. While open to interpretation, her visions guide her actions and indeed many of her colleagues.

In addition to her prodigious precognitive abilities, Master Tar - a Jedi Consular - has completely mastered traditional Jedi skills like telekinesis, mind trick, and force augmentation. She is a skilled practitioner of Tutaminis and has even been rumored to be able to utilize kinetite in extreme circumstances.

While her force abilities are her primary focus, Master Tar us also an accomplished swordswoman, having developed a unique style that blends Form VI: Niman and Form III: Soresu. The result is an efficient and effective style that prioritizes defence, tight bladwork, and the integration of force abilities to make up for a lack of offensive output.
Weaponry: A single bladed lightsaber with a green Ilum Crystal.
Ship: A variety of vessels at the disposal of the Jedi Order.
Personality and Traits: A venerated Jedi Master, Meena Tar is an exemplar of the post-Ruusan order. Utterly devoted to the Jedi Code, Master Tar is uncompromising in its application, which results in her frequently appearing aloof and detached. She has little sense of humour, but enjoys the cut and trust of debate.

Due to her procognitive powers, she is confident in her actions and stern in their dispensation. She is widely known as a tough teacher and one who demands the highest from her students. She has few friends within the Order, but has contacts the Galaxy over due to her long career as a diplomat.
Biography: Born on Shili, Meena Tar was almost immediately identified as force sensitive and taken to the Jedi Temple. A quiet and reserved student, Meena preferred the quiet of the Archives to the sparring chamber, and was swiftly identified as a keen student of Jedi history and philosophy. However, like most students who were gifted with precognitive powers, she developed a significant predilection towards night terrors and other such disturbances that the Temple healers could do little to relieve.

However, when she was 9 years old, Meena was identified and selected as a Padawan Leaner by the Iktotchi Master, and veteran of the Battle of Ruusan, Lythen Berio. A gifted telepath, Berio aided in the development of Meena's mental abilities and was able to construct a subconscious telepathic wall around her visions, greatly enhancing her control of these abilities.

Alongside her Master, Meena Tar would travel the Galaxy, and the pair became a well known team that specialized in diplomacy and tense negotiations. On one such mission, on the world of Balmorra, Master Berio was killed in a partisan ambush, and Meena was badly injured. Forced to go into hiding, thr young Padawan would spent a year underground, working with allies and rebels across the planet to launch a counter-coup against the newly established military dictatorship. After aiding the rebels in the Siege of Sobrik, Meena - at just 19 years of age - was able to negotiate a lasting settlement between the partisans and the government. She also helped write the new Balmorran constitution.

Her nearly two year period on Balmorra proved to the Jedi Council that Meena Tar was worthy to be a Jedi Knight. Returning alive after man had assumed her death alongside her Master, she was held in high esteem by her colleagues. Upon her Knighthood, Meena began to seek a padawan of her own - the first of 4 such students she would take. In each case, the individual was a hojngling that showed early signs of advanced precognitive ability. And as a Knight, Meena began working exceedingly closely with the Council of Reconciliation to end disputes across the Republic. She swiftly built significant connections within the Senate and around the Galaxy.

Upon the Knighthood of her first student, Meena Tar was granted the rank of Jedi Master and was subsequently appointed to sit on the Council of Reconciliation as first a temporary, then a permanent member. As the foremost Jedi diplomat of her age, Meena worked extremely closely with both the Senate as well as the Supreme Chancellor's office, all the while continuing to train future Seers in the ways of the Force. In 915 BBY, Meena was appointed to the Jedi High Council in addition to her role as a leading member of the Council of Reconciliation.

Around the same time as her ascension to the High Council, Master Tar was informed of a young initiate having shoe immense - even greater that her own - precognitive potential. Investigsting the young Peri Beldan, Meena was intrigued and took the spirited young girl as her fourth and final padawan. Master and Apprenticr, however, had a rocky relationship.

Where Meena emphasized a rigorous and demanding training regimen and lifestyle that was deeply rooted in the Jedi Code, Peri's inquisitive mind frequently pushed the boundaries of Jedi dogma, especially around emotion and attachment. Her focus on history and archeology rather than diplomacy or her precognitive abilities greatly alienated Peri from her Master. After some time, Master Tar recognized Peri's distaste for foresight, a position thd elder Master viewed as an immense waste.

When Peri took the trials and passed with flying colors, her Master was pleased, if only that their training together was complete. Meena maintained a distant relationship with her former Padawan, but this broke down irrevocably when Peri - who now had her own student - presented her theories to the High Council that the Sith Order had survived the Battle of Ruusan. Master Tar disbelieved this notion and, as a leading traditionalist on the Council, used Peri's unconventional approach to Jedi teachings to discredit her argument.

In the years since that day, Meena Tar has focused on her diplomatic work, while keeping a wary eye on her subversive former pupil.

For Force Users
Name: Peri Beldan
Appearance: Jedi Knight Peri Beldan
Species: Human (Chandrilan)
Gender: Female
Age: 31
Sexuality: Asexual, formerly bisexual
Allegiance Paid to: Jedi Order
Title/Occupation: Jedi Knight
Skills/Powers: A talented Jedi Knight, Peri Beldan has a varied skill set as befits a Jedi Sentinel. As the Padawan of the highly regarded Master Meena Tar, she is well versed in Jedi philosophy and knowledge, in addition to her prodigious force abilities. These include a significant skill in telekinesis and telepathy. As befits her status as a Jedi archeologist, she is also quite learned in history and is aided by her knowledge of Psychometry. To the chagrin of her Master, she has avoided the development of her significant prerogative abilities due to the immense pain that accompanies her foresight.

Fully trained in lightsaber combat, Peri is focused on the aggressive and physically demanding Form IV: Ataru - a reflection of her disbelief in the extinction of the Sith. She is a formidable combatant, lithely athletic and capable of immense speed and precision. While not a dedicated combat specialist, Peri is nonetheless a Jedi of exceptional ability.
Weaponry: A saberstaff powered by a blue Ilum crystal. The hilt is metal and polished electrum.
Ship: The Sunrider
Personality and Traits: An non-traditional Jedi Knight, Peri Beldan is known to eschew some of the more restrictive parts of the Jedi Code, including the call to fully detach from one's emotions. She is understanding, compassionate, and deeply empathetic. Unlike many Jedi she has a well honed sense of humour. She is keenly interested in Galactic history but spends more time in the field than the Temple Archives. Despite her charming exterior, Peri is capable of great seriousness and introspection and can be immensely stubborn.
Biography: Born on Chandrila to wealthy parents, Peri Beldan underwent traditional screening for Force sensitivity immediately after her birth. Showing immense promise, she was shuttled from her homeworld to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, a place she would spend the next 11 years.

As a youngling, Peri immersed herself in Jedi history and philosophy, consuming the great tales of the past. It was through these studies that she became a challenging, inquisitive student, prone to questioning the traditional teachings of her tutors. Compounding this, her fascination with the Sith concerned some of her teachers, especially with the Dark Lord Exar Kun, whom she immitrd with her adoption of a saberstaff from a young age.

Despite this, it was clear to all that Peri Beldan was a unique talent and Force prodigy - yet, as she aged, she became plagued with nightmares and visions, some of which were forceful enough to leave her bedridden and exhausted for weeks at a time. It swiftly became clear that she had a natural talent as a Seer - which brought her to the attention of Jedi Master Meena Tar.

Master Tar - the preeminent Seer of her time - took the young Chandrilan as her Padawan learner, hoping that Peri's natural aptitude, the most seen in a Youngling since Tar herself, would be a worthwhile talent to foster. However, both Master and Student swiftly came to realize that neither had much in common. Where Master Tar was praised, collected, and deeply committed to ghr traditional Jedi way, Peri constantly pushed the boundaries of the Code, and indeed, often openly questioned long held dogma. Adding to this, rather than seek to explore her precognitive talents to peer into thr future, Peri resolutely preferred to investigate the past, shunning and sequestered her foresight abilities, much to the dismay of her Master.

While their relationship was difficult, the young Chandrilan learned much from her Master and when Peri was 21, she passed her trials and was made a Jedi Knight. With the freedom her new rank gave her, Peri set off to explore the Galaxy and became a rising star among the Jedi archeological community. She dared dangerous worlds and spent the vast majority of her time away from the galactic centre. Through her travels, she also took on traditional missions from the High Council, including border disputes and the dispensation of Jedi justice.

Through her research however, Peri became increasingly convinced that the Sith Order had not been wiped out on Ruusan as had been the assumption for the previous century. When she went public with these views in 902 BBY, she was widely condemned as a scare-monger, with some conservative masters labeling her, and her itinerant lifestyle as a dangerously unconventional, even subversive, individual. This collective shunning from her peers, despite some support among the younger Cadre of Jedi Knights, led to a total estrangement from her former Master. Master Tar, now a leading conservative voice on the Jedi Council, had roundly condemned fer former pupil.

At this time, however, Peri also came across a young jedi initiate, Jori Naarin, who caught her eye as a kindred spirit. The young Onderonian, desperate to escape the monotony of Temple life, became her padawan learner. Together, the pair have spent the last two years on the trail of the Sith, seeking to prove once and for all that the ancient enemy of the Jedi remained a threat.

For Force Users
Name: Jako Naarin
Appearance: Jedi Padawan Jako Naarin and his charhound Odan
Species: Human (Onderon)
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Sexuality: Homosexual
Allegiance Paid to: Jedi Order
Title/Occupation: Padawan Learner
Skills/Powers: A promising young Jedi, Jako Naarin has an extensive array of abilities, many of which were taught to him by his Master, Peri Beldan. As such, he is skilled at telekinesis and telepathy. And while he lacks his Master's skill at Psychometry, he has developed a keen interest and skill in animal bonding. Most recently, this has been demonstrated by successfully taking a Charhound.

In combat, Jako is a talented practitioner of Form IV: Ataru , much like his master. With a greater interest in martial arts than his teacher, Jako has also developed an understanding of Form V: Shien, to compliment his fighting style. This has resulted in a highly mobile style that incorporates elaborate, sweeping bladework as well as highly mobile footwork and acrobatics.
Weaponry: A single bladed green lightsaber with an adegan crystal. The hilt is worn metal and wrapped with Fambaa leather. As is common among the weapons for Form IV and Form V adherents, the hilt possesses and angled emitter shroud.
Ship: N/A
Personality and Traits: Eager and open minded, Jako Naarin is a compassionate and kind, if conflicted, young Jedi. The juxtaposition of his years of training at the Jedi Temple under a traditional interpretation of the Code and his Master's more relaxed approach to jedi teachings has made Jako somewhat uncomfortable and unconfident in his lifestyle. He is, however, deeply curious and earnest, especially in the pursuit of knowledge.
Biography: Born on Onderon, Jako Naarin grew up in poverty and was not discovered to be Force sensitive until inadvertently taming a flight of Drexl's that had come to terrorize his village. Taken to doctors in Iziz, he was summarily transported to the Jedi Temple at the age of 3.

As a younging, Jako did not show a particular aptitude in any field. While certainly a talented student, he did not stand out among his peers - he was neither a lightsaber prodigy nor a naturally gifted practitioner of some esoteric aspect of the Force. He spent a significant amount of his time among the various arboretums and gardens at the Jedi Temple, where he would study the lifeforms he encountered there. During this time, Jako was severely reprimanded by his tutors for forming an attachment with a fellow student, Eron Trellis, one that was disapproved of in the post-Ruusan order

Throughout this low-key tutelage, Jako did participate in several lightsaber tourneys and it was during one of these - when he inadvertently caused a Tonka to attack his opponent - that he caught the eye of Jedi Knight Peri Beldan. While he had previously been resigned to a life in thr Service Corps due to his age, the 11 year old Jako leaped at the chance to become a fully fledged Padawan learner.

Jako accompanied his master on a variety of missions and soon became swept up in her own passion for history and discovery, particularly after discovering his homeworlds association with the Sith. Jako and his master formed a close bond throughout their years of exploration and while he is not entirely accepting of her relaxed interpretation of the Jedi Code, he has accepted this as valid.

On a recent mission to Elphrona, investigating the ruins of a Jedi outpost, Jako bonded strongly with a young Charhound - whome he dubbed Odan in honour of the famous jedi scholar Odan-Urr. With his master's blessing, Jako adopted Odan as his own companion as thr pair continue their quest to seek out the remnants of the Sith.

Name: Davit Trellis
Appearance:The Warrior, The Charmer
Species: Mirialan
Gender: Male
Age: 22
Sexuality: Pansexual
Allegiance Paid to: Himself
Title/Occupation: Smuggler, occasional bounty hunter, formerly a Jedi Padawan
Skills/Powers: Despite not completing his Jedi training, Davit Trellis is a skilled combatant. Previously studying under a Jedi Battlemaster, Trellis is a practitioner of Form V: Djem-So lightsaber combat, noted for its strength and precision. Well suited to his muscular frame, Trellis has also dabbled in Form IV: Ataru in an effort to make use of his speed and superior Mirialan flexibility. The combination as resulted in a style that is both mobile and powerful.

Despite his skill with a blade, Trellis struggled to establish a consistent connection with the Force. While the basic skills of the Jedi - telekinesis, telepathy and physical augmentation - were not challenging for him, he lacked any specific or prodigal skill and was noted for having a weaker connection to the force than his peers.

Since his expulsion from the Jedi Order, Trellis has developed significant skills with a blaster and has supplemented his lightsaber skills with a deep experience in the brawling, street fighting style of thr Galaxy's criminals. He is also a fairly skilled pilot, though he relies on his astromech to make any significant calculations or navigational decisions.
Weaponry: An A180 Blaster Pistol, A Single bladed blue ligtsaber powered by an Ilum Crystal
Ship: The Green Ghost
Personality and Traits: Charming and debauched, Davit Trellis displays a flippant irreverence wherever possible. Using this as a shield for his deeper feelings, Davit is also irritable and bitter at the way his life has turned out. He is deeply pained by his expulsion from the Jedi and uses his life of crime and excess to overcompensate for this loss. He has a quick, cutting wit, and a ruthless streak.
Biography: Born on Mirial in 922 BBY, Davit Trellis was, like many Mirialan's, discovered to be Force sensitive at an early age. However, his connectio to the force was so weak, and his Midichlorian count so low, that there was debate among the doctors whether he ought to be sent to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant at all. The local Jedi Watchman eventually intervened and the young boy was dispatched to the Galactic Centre to begin his training. From the start, it was unconventional.

A ligthsaber prodigy, Davit Trellis thought of nothing other than his destiny as a Jedi Battlemaster. As a Youngling, he devoured lightsaber duelling manuals and staged reenactments of infamous duels through history with his fellow students. His passion was so intense, his other studies - philosophy, history, diplomacy - were deeply neglected. This, combined with his evident difficulty at connecting to the Force, made him an outsider among his peers. He was frequently bullied by those whom the force came to naturally. As this resentment built, Davit's passion for combat only grew, and his utter determination to become the greatest Jedi warrior of the age worried many of his teachers, especially as he became more ill-tempered and irritable.

One exception was Jedi Battlemaster Osa Lamur. Lamur - a veteran lightsaber instructor - took a shine to the young Mirialan. On his 10th birthday, she requested dispensation from the Jedi Council to take him as her padawan. As the custom dictated, Davit ought to have been paired with a Mirialan Master, but the Council approved of Lamur's request, providing the Devaronian with a student.

Davit was enthralled by his master's skill and threw himself into his studies. The pair spent countless hours in the Temple sparring chambers and gymnasium, where the young Mirialan compensated for his weak connection to the force by augmenting his physical speed, agility and strength.

While much of their time was spent on Coruscant, the duo were also frequently deployed to high stakes and dangerous missions. These included such activities as hunting pirates and cracking down on illegal activities around the Galaxy.

Throughout this time, however, Davit still struggled to accept the full tenents of the Jedi Code. He had little emotional control and was volatile and insecure. These feelings caused him to develop a dependency, and eventually, romantic feelings, for a fellow Padawan, Ardus Fane. The pair began an illicit affair, flouting the Jedi Code and their Master's teachings. Over time, Davit came to rely on Ardus - as an emotional support and sounding board - due to the high pressure placed on him by his Master.

In 905 BBY, Davit, his Master, as well as Ardus and his master, the venerable Ithorian Gamfor Bast, were deployed to investigate the disappearance of the Republic's Senator from Kuat. Through this mission, the Jedi strike team discovered a series of anti-Ruusan reformation cells throughout Kuati high society due to the galactic disarmament a century prior. These cells were becoming increasingly hostile and when the Jedi Team was discovered, they attacked. Ambushed over the planet's surface, Master Bast was slain on the crash landing, while Ardus was mortally wounded. His subsequent death caused immense pain for Davit, who proceeded to lash out with the Force with such a strength that had not been possible before. In doing so, he slew many Kuati partisans, but also revealed the depth of his relationship with his fellow student to his Master, who herself was severely injured.

While reinforcements soon arrived and rescued both Master and Student, Davit was brought before the Jedi Council to answer for his outburst as well as his relationship with Ardus Fane. Admitting everything, he was abandoned by Master Lamur, a deep traditionalist, and cast out of the Order in a narrow vote among Council members.

Fleeing the Temple shortly after the decision was rendered, an embittered Davit stowed away aboard a cargo vessel bound for Tatooine. (WiP)

Name: Azzir Vosha
Appearance:
Standing at 5’3”, Vosha’s thin form is often consumed among his white tunic and brown robes, flecked with a dozen creature’s thin hairs. His hair and beard, dirty white with streaks of golden scattered about, continues to be long about the shoulders and chest. Despite this, hidden among the wrinkles which dominate his face a smile seems to linger about the corners of the Grand Master’s mouth, his eyes forever slightly narrowed to the distance, and a small creature of one variety or another constantly in his hands whenever not in the chambers of the High Council.
Species: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 74
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Allegiance: Jedi Order
Title/Occupation: Master of the Order / Grand Master
Skills/Powers:
A Jedi Consular and diplomat, Vosha’s skills are considerable and well-honed by over half a century of use. He is quite capable of telekinesis, augmenting his physical weakness with the Force, and other such traditional skills, though the Grand Master also shows exceptional talent in his handling of beasts with Animal Bond and, by extension, his handling of individuals. Practiced since his time as a Padawan, Vosha is able to link his mind with multiple creatures at once, bonding with them. In addition to this, he remains a latent, potential practitioner of Battle Meditation, though the Grand Master has never had a time of use for such a skill and knows of it only through the Jedi Archives.

In regards to Grand Master Vosha’s skills in combat or with the lightsaber, he remains a middling practitioner of modified Soresu. Relying upon his Force powers as he defends, Vosha seeks to disorient the opponent heavily with continuous application of telekinesis, often attempting to simulate changes in gravity while simultaneously performing Illusion, twisting the foe’s sense of reality, to incapacitate them.
Weaponry: Deep Blue Lightsaber, Ilum
Ship: N/A
Personality and Traits:
Considerate, empathetic, and a giver at heart, Vosha embodies the spirit of donor to all. In his mind, if another needs what he has and he does not need it, it should be given. To this effect, Vosha strongly supports charities throughout the galaxy, utilizing his influence to gain attention towards them among the wealthy patrons of the Core worlds, as well as the often maligned Jedi Service Corps. In addition to this, he is dedicated to supporting life and the continuance of life in all corners of the galaxy and has made abundant efforts to keep the peace wherever possible. In this fact, Vosha views these efforts as not temporary or incident-based, but as a permanent, long-lasting effort by the Jedi Order. As a result, he is a strong supporter of the placement of Jedi Consulars within the embassy structure on both near and far-flung worlds.

In regards to the teachings of the Jedi Order, Vosha stands as a more flexible mind among the High Council, seeing the path as different for all. He carries little objection with the teachings of the Green Jedi on Corellia, seeing their deviances as demonstrations that other methods are possible, that the immediate rejection of such deviances within the central Jedi Order could possibly drive those who would otherwise stay out from the Order. As such, Grand Master Vosha has made incremental attempts at a more considered approach to such things, though he has made little progress with the orthodox members of the High Council.
Biography:
Born amid the reconstruction of Corulag, Vosha’s parents among resettlers from Corellia, he would be found late in life, at the age of four, by one of the Green Jedi who had come to support those same resettlers. With promises that he would be able to visit his family, much in the same way as any of the Green Jedi, he was taken away to Coruscant to begin his training. There, as an Initiate, Vosha found himself at ease with the Force, far more at ease with all of it, and even then showed great promise as a potential practitioner of the more complex Jedi arts. He would sometimes be found leading other Initiates in rhythmic trances, so enveloped in the Force as they were, and eventually came to the realization that he was able to influence such trances. The instructors were as pleased as any, though several found themselves concerned with the possibilities of Battle Meditation such as the Order had become, and the discussion became a running one amid the Educational Corps. The Initiate in question, meanwhile, was watched to not continue the trances, seeing the influence as potentially harmful to both he and the others.

Vosha found himself wanting to explore such a skill further, though, curious as he was on the many aspects, the feeling of seeing through others’ eyes, the feeling of wind on a dozen bodies, and would clandestinely seek to continue his proddings with an alternative group. Failure would follow such curiosities, however, as the Temple housed no rodent population and communing with insects was an unappetizing prospect to the young child. Instead, he continued on with the curriculum, seeking a more perfect understanding of what the instructors taught. While Vosha would be unable to surpass his betters in pure lightsaber training, he would grow to enjoy the challenges they posed. When they came, the Initiate Trials would prove little issue for him and, like many others, Vosha would be chosen by a Jedi Master as a Padawan.

Master Lokke would prove to be a strong influence over the young Padawan. He strove to teach the less dogmatic parts of Jedi text, the other ways that the Force manifested itself throughout the galaxy, as well as the history of the Force and those who wielded it. To Lokke, as a Gand, nothing could be more valuable than the thousands of voices through which the Force spoke and he wanted his Padawan to appreciate such things. Acting in many ways as a Consular might, the pair traveled throughout the Outer Rim and indeed much of the galaxy, moving from issue to issue. They would visit both Gand and Dorian, learning of the Findsman and Baran Do traditions, before cutting a swathe across the territories formerly dominated by the Sith. Through this, Vosha would come to many of the same conclusions as his Master, seeing the multitude of ways, techniques, theologies as the many faces of the Force, as different interpretations of the same dream, and while he would at times push to learn such techniques, such would not come to pass for innumerable reasons. Instead, he came to foster a number of lasting friendships with both groups, seeing the young, impressionable Padawan’s enthusiasm and respect as a pleasant surprise.

He would even come to the Corellia system, learning of the microcosm of the galaxy that played out among its many worlds, and with the permission of his Master Vosha found in-between such disputes a friend of sorts. He adopted a Gurrcat from one of the few rescue agencies in Kor Vella, naming it Miso, and grew as fond as one could be to the creature. Lokke found it nearly endearing, despite the small hassles it brought to their expeditions. The pair would aid several organizations in the Corellia system, to include helping train a clan of Green Jedi initiates at the conclave there. For this aid, upon returning to Coruscant Vosha would be declared the rank of Knight and thus given the chance to strike out on his own.

With such new-found freedom, the newly-appointed spent a year in the west of the Galaxy, along the fringes of space. He would visit Ilum and the ruined world of Tython, the birthplace of the Jedi Order, before moving into the Deep Core with a notable expedition to Empress Teta among other worlds. At Teta, Vosha would even come upon two Force Sensitives and bring them back to Coruscant. There, he took on his first Padawan, a Pantoran named Sol. Like Lokke before him, Vosha took his Padawan to the stars, to Taris and its Undercity levels, to the mires of Nar Shaddaa. Each world, he strove to impart some wisdom, some strength, some awareness of the whole of the matter to Sol. Each world, he strove to negotiate some peace when violence could be found, alleviate some pain when pain could be noticed, help to lift up those who were stuck. In some places, the pair found success. In other places, a visit years later uncovered the failure. It was hard work to be sure, soon revealing to the young Knight the difficulties present, the issues, and the limited impact singular Knights might have without the strength of the Republic or Jedi Order behind them. Through that struggle, however, Vosha and Sol would form just as powerful a bond as any other. As daunting as it might have been, eventually Sol would be declared a Knight as well and Vosha given the honorific of Master, returning back to Coruscant.

Soon after, he found a seat on the Council of Reconciliation, serving for five years as a temporary member. In those five, Vosha took part in a long-term diplomatic project to further improve relations with the Baran Do Sages on Dorin. In addition to this, he would find himself drawn to a number of smaller conflicts in the region, seeking to halt their progression before any shot could be fired. In the end, Master Vosha helped to lay the groundwork for a number of treaties between the planetary governments of the region, as well as cemented the Republic’s interests among all involved.

His return and exit from the Council would usher in only the taking of another Padawan, a Togrutan named Jih whose passions lay strongly in combat, and the developments of a number of institutions among the Outer Rim as he seeked to build organizations which could help supplement the ever-inadequate capabilities of the Republic. These took many forms, though mainly were charities, construction companies, and such. One of Vosha’s friends, a Master Stobi, would be appointed among the Jedi Service Corps at that time and the two soon began conspiring to develop even deeper roots among the Rim. These efforts would lead to connections among many local organizations who served similar purposes, and such would naturally lead to connections among steadily rising government officials. Such work, which served to indirectly convince Jih to work far more deeply in the same Service Corps, would attract the eye of the Council for Reconciliation and, some six years after he had first left that Council, Jih would be declared a Knight and Vosha placed as a permanent member.

Vosha would quickly begin his lobbying, arguing that a more permanent Jedi presence among the galaxy would be necessary to spread their skills, knowledge, and efforts. When such proposals faltered at the High Council, many feeling that such an effort could be viewed unfavorably by the Republic and Senate, he soon grew more quiet on the matter and discretely supported those same organizations he had before founded. In time, he would be elevated from the Council to the High Council, first as a temporary member before the motion became permanent upon his help to stifle a possible conflict among the Tapani noble houses. His time as a Master among the High Council would be marked by a number of motions. Vosha vocally supported the Green Jedi, despite their deviances from orthodox Jedi teachings, as well as the divergent practices of the Baran Do and Findsmen. He supported the Service Corps in their outreach programs, advocating for a more comprehensive structure which Jedi might find rewarding, as he soon noticed the distaste many failed Knights had at their appointment to such locations. In the end, when Grand Master Kuan stepped down from his post in 904 BBY due to his failing health, it would be Vosha who found appointment. The other Masters saw him in a far more positive light as he had cultivated a number of relations throughout the galaxy, his numerous organizations having come to light by Master Stobi’s testimonies.

Since then, Grand Master Vosha has continued his efforts to better the galaxy, largely leaving the governance of the Republic to the Senate and Chancellor with little discourse between the two. His own chambers soon became known among the more humorous Masters as “The Zoo”, as Vosha began to discover numerous small creatures among the outskirts of the Temple and immediately adopted them, and his informal meetings would often include one rescue or another in his lap, his meditations often in defiance of the tiny creatures at play. Knight Beldan’s outreach to the High Council in 902 BBY, on the potentials for the Sith Order still operating in the modern day, would be struck down with the word of Master Tar, the majority of the High Council dismissing such claims. Despite this, Grand Master Vosha found such possibilities worrisome, especially in light of the methods by which Master Tar had undercut them, and would initiate his own investigations via the Council of First Knowledge and, by proxy, the Jedi Shadows, as well as ordering them to a close eye on Knight Beldan should she discover a Sith after all.

Still a work in progress for the Supreme Chancellor!

For Non-Force Users
Name: Kun Lung
Appearence:
Image

Species: Pau'an
Gender: Nonbinary
Age: 344
Sexuality: Pansexual

Allegiance Paid to: Republic
Title/Occupation: Supreme Chancellor of the Republic

Skills/Powers: Kun Lung is a medical doctor and a skilled bureaucrat, as well as a well-read political philosopher
Weaponry: None
Ship: Valor-class cruiser Executive I, remoddeled as a civilian vessel for professional use by the Supreme Chancellor

Personality and Traits: Kun Lung is an administrator at heart, concerned with both extreme detail and the large picture at the same time. They are reserved, not one for idle chatter, but keeping to facts and statistics. This, mostly because they have outlived the understanding of most of their peers. If you havee lived over three centuries, the topics you would want to discuss on a personal, emotional level are not something those younger than you can appreciate. Furthermore, anyone who lived through the Great War is already dead. Having lived so long, Kun Lung has a deep understanding of various topics, but they prefer playing a slightly sentimental numbers-obsessed bureaucrat, at least outwardly.
Biography: Kun Lung was born during the Fall of the Old Republic, during which the institutions of the galactic government were in sharp decline and Sith empires filled the void. Utapau was by this time occupied by the Sith-successor Empire of Fire, based on Mustaphar, which had enslaved the so-called 'lesser species' in their great foundries.

[WiP]

Friendship with Tarsus Valorum and the Ruusan reformation
It was while working as chairperson of the Committee of Species that Kun Lung first came into contact with Tarsus Valorum, the then-senator for Coruscant and rising star in Republican politics. The systemic view on politics championed by the Committee appealed to Valorum, who had recognised the myriad issues of the Old Republic. According to Valorum, centralisation of power in the Old Republic and the creation of an Army of the Republic had basically laid the groundwork for the rise of the Sith empires, and the eventualy degradation of the Republic. Not only that, but increased power in a small number of hands had also rotted the Republic itself, and increased the corruption that meant it could, in the end, no longer defend itself. Limiting the power that could be gained by military conquest, and limiting the manpower available to any future militaristic empire, would ensure eternal peace throughout the galaxy, and an end to the constant war that tore the galaxy apart. When Valorum rose to the position of Supreme Chancellor of the newly-formed Senate, Kun Lung joined the bureaucracy. First as his adviser, then as director of the Bureau for the Wounded of War. Kun Lung would remain a loyal adviser even after Valorum laid down the Chancellorship, until the day he died.

The next half-century Kun Lung would serve as a senator for Utapau as part of the Species Coalition, a group of senators that championed for reparations for the various non-human species had had been particularly affected by speciest Sith empires. Kun Lung was also among the Veterans, a group of influential people including politicians, writers, professionals and others who had served during the Great War. As time continued, however, that group became smaller and smaller, until in the end Kun Lung was one of their final members. This placed a greater duty on them, as they became the last living memory of the war. They also became one of the most ardent supporters and defenders of the Ruusan reformation. They served on a great number of committees and became increasingly an expert not only in economics, but legalistic technicalities as well. This made them one of the most effective controls of later Supreme Chancellors, to the point that, in the end, no senator felt like running for the position was worth the hassle of having to deal with Kun Lung. Which was, in the end, what made Kun Lung run for the office.

50 year chancellorship
Kun Lung was elected to the chancellorship themselves in 947 BBY. They were one of the last remaining politicians to remember the Jedi-Sith war and who had known Tarsus Valorum in life, and because the latter had grown to almost mythical status since his death this was seen as an important feature. Moreover, Kun Lung was known as a competent bureaucratic manager rather than an inspiring politician, was suited perfectly to the new post-Ruusan republic. A technocrat familiar with various dossiers, Kun Lung was more concerned with technical details of legislation and governance. Their rise to the Chancellorship saw the further implementation of the Ruusan reforms and the Unification Policies. Kun Lung's policies were build on three pillars: first, the economic integration of the galaxy would ensure that every sector relied on other sectors for prosperity, meaning that warfare between planets were functionally impossible. Secondly, improving the lives of citizens in the galaxy through increased welfare spending and democratisation on every planet. Thirdly, the further disarming of the Jedi Order, implementing them rather as moral guardians than armed enforcers. According to Kun Lung, the Jedi Order should focus less on the light sabre and more on the balance of the Force: gardeners of the Force rather than pest control. It is the belief of Kun Lung that the eradication of the Sith will come when people's lives are meaningfully improved by the Republic, with the Jedi serving only as the last line of defence.

The fifty years of Kun Lung's chancellorship have largely been a succes for them. Their ultimate wish was to make Republican politics boring, so that no large political rivalries exist to rip the galaxy apart. This has succeeded; their policies have bureaucratised the Republic to the extend that many fail to understand the complexities of its various layers of administration. Furthermore, the Republic governance has been generally beneficial, and the post-war reconstruction has borne a sense of hopefulness to many parts of the galaxy. This, together with campaigns against drug running and slavery has created an era of good feelings throughout the galaxy. So much so that chancellor Kun Lung has started a new chapter in the continuation of the Ruusan reforms, namely the privitisation of important galactic infrastructure. The theoretical danger posed by planetary control of, for example, the Fondor and Kuat shipyards, and the Kenari mines, is thereby mitigated, and governments cannot be ensured of the cooperation of vital assets just by seizing a planetary government.

Kun Lung is known as a boring bureaucrat, but that does not mean they lack political sensibilities. More than three hundred years of experience has taught them a lot, and given them a keen analytical insight of galactic politics. Despite this, Kun Lung enjoys their reputation, which allows them to manouvre through Senate politics without raising too much alarm. Their ambitions are not small, however, and are no less than bringing a period of eternal peace to the galaxy.

FORCE USER APPLICATION
Name: Ralleon Cartha
Appearance:
Cartha stands at a fairly average 5’7”, with short, kept black hair and a well-shaven face. His musculature is lithe, though not overly toned. In terms of clothing, Cartha wears the traditional tan tunic and brown robes, though he does also include a pair of thicker tobi trousers and split-toe boots as concessions to comfortability and flexibility.
Species: Pyn’gani
Gender: Male
Age: 35
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Allegiance: Jedi Order
Title/Occupation: Jedi Knight / Sentinel / Investigator
Skills/Powers:
A skilled practitioner of the Force, Cartha possesses a wide range of skills ranging from healing to those of the mind, such as Force Meld and Truth-Sense, as well as a minor talent in Psychometry. In addition to this, he is well-disciplined enough to be able to temporarily mask his own signature in the Force, though this is difficult and taxing on the body. Cartha also is capable of several more offensively minded powers, such as Blind and Burst.

In terms of Cartha’s lightsaber skills, he proves to be an erratic, creative opponent as he blends Jar'Kai with Nimian, using twin lightsabers and often controlling one with the Force. Bursts of speed, provided by the Force, blinding lights, and constantly changing angles of attack are a few examples of the methods Cartha would employ to ensure victory.
Weaponry: Green Lightsaber, Mephite crystal / Blue Lightsaber, Etaan crystal
Ship: Lorn Wander, T-class personal cruiser
Personality and Traits:
Outwardly a traditional, normal member of the Jedi Order who upholds all beliefs and traditions therein, Cartha does possess a careful sense of caring towards those he has become close with. This extends to a general concern towards civil life and law, the Knight viewing the breaking of such laws to be a thing to be corrected with all due haste. Cartha is, to this end, detail driven and observant, seeing all things as being pieces to a greater puzzle. He does view the law, when protecting the rights of the guilty and hindering the advancement of the law, as something which can be malleable should haste prompt it, though he takes steps to never stray too far in such a path and to always have evidence on the guilt before advancing.
Biography:
Born on Polus, Cartha’s early life to a pair of geothermal plant engineers would end when he was found to be a force sensitive by a passing Jedi. Taken to the Jedi Academy on Coruscant, Catha found himself somewhat at peace compared to many of the others, somewhat at odds, as he rarely spoke to them. Instead, it would be the training itself which could give the young child issues. Control over one’s own emotions when petty things set his anger away like a roaring river, the silence of a mind when it seemed to speed along as a runaway tram with every detail something to wonder about, something to dissect over and over again until the basic substance was all that remained, and the stillness of the meditation never seemed to drown such issues away. The teachers helped, of course, though their solutions were small, piecemeal, never reaching at the source of the issues. Eventually, a fellow Initiate named Zin, a Chalactan, would start striking up conversations when they both found themselves on a Temple roof after-hours, staring up into the busy sky. The two would begin to play games in those late hours, methods of expelling emotions and issues through physical and mental competitions and, unsurprisingly, both grew a repertoire of skills in staying hidden from the Jedi guardians who didn’t take kindly to such activities on the roofs. Both Zin and Cartha would markedly improve in their skills, their methods, and he eventually gained some measure of control over his emotions, his mind. The two would even be phrased by some as inseparable, as gaining a singular mind, as they were synchronized in many activities. Cartha would take it a step further, albeit in the wrong direction, as he developed a degree of separation anxiety whenever away. The fact that such things were rare served greatly to hide such anxiety.

When Cartha finally took the Initiate Trials, along with the rest of his clan, he would prove himself quite capable. The first trial, memorization of the Jedi Code, did not prove difficult, nor did the second as the hooded lightsaber combat between himself and Zin lasted the better part of an hour. The third trial, proving a strong connection to the Force, would be slightly more challenging though would be completed with the shifting of five heavy crates simultaneously, in differing directions. He, along with many of the clan, were elated to have passed into becoming Padawans. It would be the Ithorian Jedi Knight Wels who took on Cartha as Padawan, while Zin came under the tutelage of a Kiffar Knight, Sammas Kox. That both Knights were engaged in a developing crusade in the lower levels of Coruscant, and often collaborated towards similar goals, was a relief for Cartha. He soon would become intimately familiar with the undercity, far beneath all civilized eyes, and gained a good amount of sympathy towards the poor residents forced into such squalor. They took part in several campaigns, charities, and patrols in certain designated sections, learning about the community, developing friendships with many who lived in the area. On occasion, they would be forced to defend it, taking drug dealers and racketeers into custody for transfer to Coruscant Security.

Such things would be a thorn in Black Sun’s side and, after a year of such things, a number of bombings struck the undercity section they’d been hard at work in. Knight Kox would be killed while Zin would be hospitalized with burns on most of her body. Petitions from Knight Wels to find who had caused such an attack were denied, while Cartha would rarely leave the infirmary at the Temple, watching and waiting for Zin to awake, so struck was he with grief. Eventually, Knight Wels left the Temple of his own accord, traveling down into the lower levels to hunt for Kox’s killers, and after two months without contact would return before requesting to leave the Jedi Order. Such was granted, despite pleas from Cartha for the Knight to stay in the Order, that the Knight's actions were good and just, and Wels left for the far Outer Rim. Cartha’s tutelage would be taken on by Knight Tay, then, one of those few actual Jedi who worked in the Medical Corps, and he would become another face among the many healers. Despite such work and training, which was often exhausting, he would still make a point of visiting Zin often, helping her recover. The two began a relationship, though never much knew or acknowledged it, often reading one-another’s thoughts as casually as one might speak. Knight Tay would prove unable to notice such a thing, as she was exceptionally consumed by her work. After three years of treatment and healing, Zin would walk again, though the injuries and issues had damaged her own connection to the Force. She soon departed for the Educational Corps, for Corellian space. The blow would only be softened by a promise between the two that they would continue correspondence, that Cartha would visit now and again.

The Jedi Trials would come and go for him, many of the Trials having already been considered to have been passed, though in the Jedi Trials Chamber Cartha would pass the Trials of Skill and Courage. As a Knight, he would begin down the path of the Sentinel after a journey to Corellia brought him into the presence of a number of Horns, Corellian Green Jedi who walked their own path from the Coruscanti, made their own decisions, defended and studied. After five years of being a Knight, during which time Cartha had begun a reputation as an aid towards several Core and Colonies region investigations, he finally took on a Padawan. He saw a fellow spirit in a Sephi named Falthe Hiht, who had been grievously injured during a journey to Dantooine for lightsaber crystals, and would take her on as an apprentice. While Falthe’s capabilities in the Force were greatly diminished by her injuries, the two cultivated a strong friendship and respect as they worked in the Colonies region.

Eventually, they would begin a working relation with the Knight Peri Beldan and her Padawan, Jako Naarin, by the fact that the pairs often were in the same area and many times natives would point out one pair’s existence to the other. It would be through this, as well as a few dead-end investigations in the Colonies, which would lead them on a similar path as Beldan and Naarin.

Despite this, Kun Lung enjoys their reputation, which allows them to manouvre through Senate politics without raising too much alarm. Their ambitions are not small, however, and are no less than bringing a period of eternal peace to the galaxy.

Looking good - my only flag would be that Utapau was never formally a Republic world. It could be feasible for them to have represented another in the Senate prior to being elected Chancellor

Tagged for future consideration

I've got an idea for a force-user, but I'm unsure if I can develop it enough to satisfy the seemingly daunting application quality requirements and the lore that would need to be understood in order to properly create a realistic character.

So honestly, not going to lie, GCCS and I take a good amount of pride in making nice, long applications. If you're having trouble with a Force-User application though, I recommend you (and I'll largely be assuming they'd be a Jedi) think about where they're from, what their parents did, when they were discovered (or not) by the Jedi, how they're parents reacted, and going on from there how they did in training, dealing with other Initiates, the Trials, and so on. There is sort of a pipeline in how a Jedi develops, after all, and you can see that in most if not all of the applications for them. The challenges faced there provide a frame of questions on how your character deals with new issues, stresses, things like that which can help build the personality portion. Skills should be relatively easy at that point. I hope that all helps!

If you have any specific questions though, feel free to ask.

I'm thinking either Sith or if that doesn't work or a pro-Imperial mercenary ex-soldier type so whom ever is the Sith has at least one teammate.

I will point out that it's been 100 years since the Sith largely got wiped out at the Seventh Battle of Ruusan so a pro-Imperial mercenary may not be the best idea.

For Force Users
Name: Viiltch
Appearance: Viiltch is of average size for a Harch. He stands about 5'8" tall and weighs about 200 lbs. Like all Harch, he has six arms and six eyes. His fur is black with streaks or orange throughout. He typically wears a set of gray robes with silk embellishments and web designs throughout.
Species: Harch
Gender: Male
Age: 83
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Allegiance Paid to: The Force
Title/Occupation: Jedi Master (Renounced)
Skills/Powers: Viiltch is a fully trained Jedi and has mastered the lessons that all Jedi undergo. In particular, his combat training focused on taking advantage of his six arms. Viiltch has mastered the use of the double-bladed lightsaber and the Jar'Kai style of lightsaber combat. Though he rarely uses a single blade, Viiltch prefers the Makashi Form.
As a force user, Viiltch's greatest skills lie in the realm of mental manipulation. Cleansing Mind, Mind Trick, Truth-Sense, Inspire, Battle Meditation, and Mnemotherpay are some of his preferred techniques.
Viiltch is also trained in archaeology and conservatorship.
Weaponry:Two silver detachable double-bladed lightsabers.
Ship: Web Spinner-HWK-290 Light Freighter
Personality and Traits: Viiltch has rejected what he considers to be the aloofness of the Jedi Order and has instead chosen to embrace his own moral compass. To Viiltch, the letter of the law is second to his own morality and sense of justice. His early life in the order did have the benefit of easing the typical Harch individualism and greed. However, Viiltch is also a collector. His time as an archaeologist and researcher for the Jedi Order nurtured an interest in the past, particularly the past of those who had connections to the force.
As a Harch, Viiltch speaks with a peculiar accent that results in loud and jarring clicks from his mandibles interjected in his speech.
Biography: Viiltch was born as part of a clutch to a ruling nest of Secundus Ando. He was raised briefly in the aristocratic home of his family. However, before even a year had passed, a Jedi diplomat to Secundus Ando discovered his potential and negotiated for his release to the Jedi Order so as to allow the nurturing of his abilities. The uniqueness of Harch biology and behavior made the initial introduction of Viiltch to life in the Jedi temple difficult; however, as initiate training progressed, Viiltch came to appreciate the life of a Jedi.

As a padawan, Viiltch was under the tutelage of Besalisk Jedi Master to best encourage his training in using his six arms. Alongside his master, Viiltch traveled and engaged in several missions for the Jedi Council. Viiltch's master tried to give him a taste of all Jedi missions. Diplomatic missions, negotiations, combatting criminal organizations, and disaster relief were all laid out before him. However, Viiltch felt at his best when delving through archaeological finds. Searching for artifacts and uncovering the lost history was the joy of Viiltch's padawan career. It was an archaeological expedition that ultimately led to Viiltch's ascension to Knighthood.

On a mission to the far Outer Rim, Viiltch and his master discovered an elaborate set of ruins. It was later determined that these were the remnants of an ancient Sith lord's base of power. Viiltch and his master delved deeper, determined to eliminate any potential threats that may still linger in such a dark place. At the heart of the complex, they discovered a Sith meditation chamber with a prominent pedestal conspicuously missing a Holocron. Despite its absence, the pair could sense its corrupting influence in the area. They managed to track the Holocron to a nearby settlement that had been taken over by pirates raiding local trade routes.

Together the two Jedi fought their way into the compound and found the Holocron, which had seeped into the minds of the pirates and corrupted them to the service of the gatekeeper implanted by the long-dead Sith. Despite their best efforts, the duo was forced to cut down every pirate to end the threat. Before the bodies had even gone cold, Viiltch's master plunged his lightsaber into the Holocron, leaving only a broken heap. He informed the Harch that the Sith teachings were too dangerous to exist. This was the moment Viiltch's faith in the Jedi was shaken. Despite his trepidation, he was made a Jedi Knight upon the pair's return to Coruscant. From there, the Harch was given his own missions by the Jedi Council. He typically worked under the Council of First Knowledge, scouring the galaxy for lost and stolen knowledge. In time he took four padawans under his tutelage and trained them in the ways of the Jedi.

However, during his time with the Jedi, Viiltch grew increasingly disconnected from what he felt was the narrow-mindedness of the order. He recognized the danger posed by the dark side and Sith artifacts, yet their outright destruction felt like a loss to the shared history of the force and the galaxy. Nearly a decade ago, a seat on the Council of First Knowledge became available, and Viiltch was a leading contender. Without notice and unceremoniously, Viiltch left the temple on Coruscant, renouncing his membership in the Jedi Order. Since then, Viiltch has independently traveled the galaxy in search of artifacts related to the force as a whole, collecting them and storing them at his base of operations on a small moon in the outer rim. He funds his expeditions with those artifacts that do not concern the history of the Force or those that do not pique his interest.

Ormata is correct - Sith sympathizers are probably quite limited given that its been a century since they "went extinct."

However, this is a pretty vague period in the lore - I do not doubt the possibility that some anti-Ruusan reformation factions would have existed within the Republic, just as they no doubt exist within the Jedi Order.

Looks good.

My only question is on lightsaber style.

Are you meaning he uses Jar'Kai when wielding both saberstaffs and Makashi when just one blade is ignited?

I'm not certain Makashi can be optimized for a single saber staff, let alone two.
