IBA Sports Gymnastics Championships
Britonisea & Darkmania

Artistic Gymnastics & Trampolining (Doportedas, Britonisea)

Mountbatten - Arena De Banqués - 12,000

The capital city of Britonisea, Doportedas, won the rights to host the Artistic Gymnastics & Trampolining events in Arena De Banqués, located in Mountbatten - a bustling town in West Doportedas. Mountbatten is well counted with the rest of the city through buses and the Doportedas metro, with the station being served by four different lines (or five if you count the two circle line stations!) making it one of the busiest. Though don’t worry - it has a huge, spacious station to avoid overcrowding to get you to your destination in the easiest possible way.

The arena, Arena De Banqués, itself is one of Doportedas’ hidden gems. Usually hidden behind the glamour of The Grand Hall and The Kistune Arena, two very large arenas Doportedas is also home to, Arena De Banqués is usually home to Britonish and ABEN basketball, handball competitions which is watched by thousands every week. While the arena can hold up to 14,000 people in concert setting, for the Artistic Gymnastics and Trampolining, a total of 12,000 fans will pack into this legendary venue over the course of the week to watch some of the multiverse’s best gymnasts.

Rhythmic Gymnastics (Cäer, Darkmania)

Cäer - Sälandar Rölbem Hall - 5,000

Cäer is the 2nd largest city in Darkmania and is seen as of the most modern city in Darkmania with the highest concentration of skyscrapers, including the tallest of them all which is called by local slang as "Sky Tower", measuring 523 metre high.

The venue for Rhytmic events will be held at the city's primary gymnastic venue, called Sälandar Rölbem Hall, named after Sälandar Rölbem who was born in Cäer is famous for being the winning male gymnastic athlete in terms of national championships, with his heydays being in the 1960s and 1970s. He may have passed away in 2014 but his legacy still lives on.

IBA Sports Triathlon Series
Beepee • Todlichebujoku • Darkmania • Illdonya • Malta Comino Gozo

Triathlon Stage 1 (Hercules, Beepee)

The course begins at Hercules Harbour. Athletes will swim around the harbour wall coming out of the water in the Harbourside district.

Cycling through the city before heading out of the city, to the east, then heading north climbing through The Hills district and up around the base of the Herculean Mountain. The first two-thirds of the cycle is an energy-sapping uphill climb, however swinging westward, the final quarter of the cycle is rapidly downhill.

Swinging through the verdant Garden Quarter, athletes will reach their change area for the running section. The running course heads downhill through the tree-lined avenues of the Garden Quarter, through the harbourside central business district before finishing at the main plaza in front of the harbour.

Image

Triathlon Stage 2 (Beiszendmizu, Todlichebujoku)

The triathlon will take place in the tundra city (or town as one might consider it) of Beiszendmizu, which most famously hosted the WorldVision Song Contest 63. As such, information on the city is easily accessible. WorldVision Song Contest 63.

The route itself will begin on the Matalaniemi side of the harbor, with the open-water swimming route cutting across the mouth of the harbor, passing by the Mies & Poika islands before landing on the large beacon pad (a former island) at the end of the breakwater. The cycling route goes down the breakwater causeway along the edge of the port docks in a straight run, and then zigzags up the great hill after which the Rinteessá suburban neighborhood is named after. Down the backside of the hill is a tundra preserve with views of reindeer herds, before breaking into some curves along the urban periphery north of the city. In this area we have the next transition area, Yániksenluita park, where the running segment begins. The course follows various roads toward the city center, before kinking outward to arc around the WorldVision-hosting Yáákupo, and finally up a low wide hill, down the crest and back to Matalaniemi where it all started.

Image

Triathlon Stage 3 (Tëllemän, Darkmania)

The swimming starts at Tëllemän Beach, located Tëllemän Town, less than 14 km from Örkendrem. The starting platform is on a pier where all athletes swim 500 metres before turning 90 degrees right and then swim the 500 metres before they reached the beachfront. A short sprint leads into the area where they switch to the biking section.

The biking section follows National Road T563, a road known as one of the many roads leading to Tëllemän. The road is leading away from the town and crosses the border into Örkendrem at the 3,4 km mark. The road is not the most twisty but it isn't straight either. During the biking-section they climb up to Hëmsöden, the highest point in Örkendrem City and famous for hosting a lot of expensive mansions. This also is the part where they connect to the last parts of the Örkendrem Marathon and the station where they dispose of their bikes is literally located at the bottom of the mountain.

The running section is just the last kilometres of the Marathon, following the descent from Hëmsöden and into the goal, located at Kälemari Park.

Triathlon Stage 4 (Feker Libi, Illdonya)

Image

Triathlon Stage 5 (Valletta, Malta Comino Gozo)

The course begins at Tigne Point, the cities national ferry port. Swimmers will swim around the harbour wall into the open turquoise waters of Valletta bay. The water here is rather calm due to the natural shielding of the sandbars further out of the harbour. The harbour's average depth is only 6m deep so ships have to stick to dug out channels. Swimmers will swim the 1km to the opposite shore in Santa Lucija before virtually undoing the swim by bike around the entire coast through Santa Lucija back towards Valletta following the Coastal Road. The 6.8km cycle is relatively flat and smooth with great bends to coast around. A sharp turn at Victoria Street Train Station see's the athletes cycle towards the ancient city walls of Valletta Old Town, cycling through the Porte De Bombes arch. Cyclists will then dismount before starting the 3km run. The first part sees them run around the inside of the city walls before exiting onto lovely Palm lined street of Victoria Street the main promenade of Valletta. The route gradually slants downhill towards Lafayette Park. Runners will then turn past the Parliament and around the 2 mains squares before finishing just ahead of MCG Clock Tower.

CONFIRMED: OFFICIAL GROUP DRAWS

The IBA Team Sports Championships will be held in the area around Cordasfjord, capital of the Cordian Isles. Teams will reside in dorms at the university at which they will be playing for the duration of the tournament.

Cordasfjord is a city of 1.1 million, located in the Fjords region of the Cordian West Island. The city is home to various historical sites, its history dating back to well before Cordian unification, as the prosperous capital city of the Korda city-state. Cordasfjord was founded in a natural harbor where the tall cliffs of the fjords sloped down to meet the sea. Around Cordasfjord, were natural resources aplenty, which proved rather profitable in trade. Cordasfjord eventually became known as a center of trade, and became the capital of The Cordian Isles when the Kordans completed their conquest of the Isles.

There’s plenty to see in Cordasfjord. There’s the Capitol, built in 1807 as the Isles transitioned to democracy. It’s a massive marble monolith, the outside featuring long walls intricately carved with scenes from Cordian mythology, rather than the pillars that dominate the center of so many nations. Also of note is the old Royal Castle, which was the ruling seat of Cordia until the end of the monarchy in 1807 and has now been turned into a museum about that age. The whalewatching is also great, the massive Port of Cordasfjord providing ample mooring for those types of businesses, and the sights are usually pretty good, with whales regularly making an appearance.

Futsal and Sepak Takraw

Cordasfjord University - Granisson Center - 6,150

Named for Sigurd Granisson, a hockey player who went on to become one of the best in Cordian history, who played for Cordasfjord University back when university hockey was the main path to a top club team. Cordasfjord University still plays hockey there, and they’re one of the best college teams in Cordia, regularly sending solid players to the CIHL, though the brightest stars often go straight from high school to the league. The CU basketball, volleyball, and wrestling teams are also based here, but those are far smaller sports.
Cordasfjord University is one of the top universities in Cordia, though not quite touching Kersson (see below). Situated close to the Cordian Capitol, there’s a lot of history, and CU is most notable for putting a lot of its graduates into government jobs. It is an urban campus, smack in the middle of Cordasfjord, with a student population of around 40,000 in any given year. That makes it one of Cordia’s biggest universities, a title it often competes for with the University of Jutland, the two universities located in the biggest population centers in Cordia.

Dodgeball and 3x3 Basketball

Kersson University - University Place - 4,000

University Place is an ageing arena with a lot of history. Kersson being the rivals of Cordasfjord and also being one of the best universities for athletics in Cordia, many national championships and big games have been played in this arena. Despite having seating on only three sides, this stadium is electric, fitting a lot of fans into a small area. For 3x3 basketball, capacity will only be 3,200 and a different scoreboard will be used due to the court requirements.

Kersson University is the Cordian equivalent of an Ivy. The very best of Cordia’s youth go here to be educated, and often end up working for the government or a major company in Cordasfjord. The university is on the eastern outskirts of Cordasfjord, overlooking one of the fjords, a spectacular view. The student population is around 13,000, not including grad students.

The Polkopian Federation of Registered Athletes (PFZS) is an internal governing body in which athletes must be a part of in order to compete in domestic and international events. The PFZS is the successor organization of the Association of Polkopian Amateur Athletes, which was originally intended to prepare and train amateur athletes for larger tournaments, such as the Olympics, however this organization's short-lived history came to an end after several senior officials were caught in an embezzling scheme. The PFZS was created with a similar mission, however all athletes must now be a part of this organization, whether they're considered amateur or professional, if they intend on competing under the Polkopian flag in an international competition.

While not nearly as widespread as the Olympics, the IBA Sports Championships still managed to attract the attention of many Polkopians, who see the competition as their best opportunity to witness the development of a new generation of Polkopian athletes who may some day represent their nation in the Olympic Games themselves. It's a true test of Polkopian athleticism against nations whom are the closest diplomatically with Polkopia, but that only makes the competition even more exciting! Locals have already began to organize watch parties at some of the nation's most popular sports bars, and even an outsider can see the excitement brewing around the nation as the IBA Sports Championships are set to begin within a couple of days.

Hercules, in the Cootamundra Islands region of Beepee, is delighted to be the first host city of the Triathlon Series.

WELCOME TO HERCULES

Cootamundra Islands

The Cootamundra Islands are an archipelago located at the mouth of the Huawan (Beepee's largest river) Delta. The Islands cover a land area of approximately 1,590 square kilometres (610 sq mi), with the largest Hercules the most densely populated. Many of the smaller islands are uninhabited, and classed as nature reserves.

The flora and fauna of the area is wide and varied, a variety of tropical fish, rays and sharks inhabit the waters around the islands.

Onland, the island themselves key native species range from amphibious mudfish to red spiny crab.

A variety of tropical and subtropical trees and plants grow.

The climate of the islands varies between tropical and subtropical. The archipelago has two main seasons, a cooler dry season from April to October and a warmer wetter season November to March. Temperatures ranger from 30-36°C in summer and 20-30°C in winter.

A Brief History

The city of Hercules is located in the lush Cootamundra Islands region of Beepee. With a population of over 135,000, the city originally grew as a fishing port with easy access to the fertile tropical South Pacific waters. The city is backdropped by the tall Herculean mountain.

How the City Got It's Name

Hercules is named after the original settlers of the area, The Heracles, a historic civilisation which extended across large swathes of southern Beepee.

The Heracles were noted for their extraordinary strength and courage. As well as their sea faring abilities. Historical records show the Heracles were farmers, fisherpeoples and warriors.

The city then diversified into a bustling port city trading in silks, stone and timber, and pearls and pearl shells, which are abundant in the local area.

The town became a magnet for wealthy merchants and a number of mansions were constructed in the Garden Quarter.

Building upon its heritage and tradition, a thriving ship building sector grew providing jobs and resulting in a large population influx.

As the town grew in stature and wealth, tourists flocked to Hercules to breathe in the clean ocean air and visit the beautiful golden beaches.

As concerns for the environment and over fishing in the region grew, the City used its position as an important trading route pivoted to protect the natural beauty of the area. With many of the Cootamundra Islands and the waters around them becoming national nature reserves.

Today, the City focuses on tourism, administrative and service sectors as key financial drivers.

Visiting The Modern City

The history of Hercules has resulted in a variety of old and new buildings, historic sites and grand plazas.

The city is historically one of the most religious of the Beepeean cities, a nation renowned for its secular views. Religiosity is on the wane however, with only the older generations maintaining service attendance. However, religious or irreligious visitors need not worry; everyone is welcome.

The suburbs of Hercules:

Harbourside

The Harbourside area, includes a mix of shops, offices, restaurants and tourist facilities. This 24 hour area of the city, is where the majority of tourists and revellers will spend there time in the coffee shops that line the harbour.

Also in this area is the ferryport where visitors can take a short ferry ride to the mainland with regular ferry's to the cities of Banksia and Golden Wattle Bay or along the mighty Huawan delta, to the quaint villages around Trinket Creek.

The ferryport is also the place if you wish to undertake a tour around the crystal blue waters around the Cootamundra Islands.

In this district, visitors can tour the historic shipyards and visit the nautical museum.

The Garden Quarter

Any visitor with an eye for the fancier side of life should take a trip to the Garden Quarter. Located only a brisk walk from the harbouring, this district.

Named due to the abundance of green space, visitors can marvel at the large merchant manions constructed in the 1850s-1910s. Many have been converted into luxury hotels, and its likely that delegations would enjoy the tranquil nature of this district.

Some of the mansions have been converted to museums exploring the pearl trade and history of the golden age of Hercules.

In the Garden Quarter visitors will also find a myriad of boutique, luxury importers. Here you will also find many antique emporium. Restaurants serve fine dining and fine wines, with wine bars becoming more common in the area.

The Lolucks

For those who like a more down to earth approach, the Lolucks is the district you would be most interested in. Rows of terraced housing constructed in the 1880s-1940s predominantly for the working and under classes and based around the old shipyards. The area fell into 'slum like conditions' from the 1970s, before the cheap housing and proximity to the main harbourside district attracted a speculative upwardly mobile crowd. Housing costs remain significantly lower in the Lolucks compared to other districts within Hercules, and as such immigrants, particularly those from the Praries, flock to this area.

The Lolucks are now considered one of the most diverse and lively areas of the city. Pop up urban art installations, hole in the wall coffee shops and buskers mix with the latest urban fashion.

Whilst high culture might he missing from the Lolucks the area includes some of the oldest operational religious buildings, some of the best preserved workers cottages are maintained as protected buildings.

By contrast, the Lolucks is also home to the cities 'red light' and 'blue light' areas. The area around Pelican Avenue is also considered as the city's 'gaybourhood'. where visitors will find many bars, clubs, restaurants, bookstores and boutiques tending to the cities LGBT+ communities.

Hills District

Accessible by a short drive, The Hills District is a predominantly suburban area located at the base of the Herculean Mountain. Mainly a commuter area, services are geared towards the local residents rather than tourists and visitors.

However, visitors may be interested in hiking the mountain or visiting some of the local farm shops around the base of the mountain. Local produces include numerous types of apple, pear, cherry and rosehip.

Recently a number of orchard farms in the area have diversified to create Local apple cider breweries and traditional cherry wine is also available to purchase. Tours of some orchard farms are available.

The tiny hamlet of Ambleford doesn't appear on many maps anymore, and is mainly forgotten since the motorway joining Chiton and Smithy was completed bypassing the settlement.

The Come Back Inn which would once host travelling salesmen, or market sellers, now only caters for locals in the bar and no one has rented one of the two rooms above the bar in many years. The Inn stands at what best resembles to centre of the hamlet.

Opposite the Inn stands the Ambleford Village Hall. With its dirty, grey harled walls and slate roof, it hasn't hosted a fête or a fair in three years. Occasionally, civic business is carried out but for most of the year it remains locked, closed and slowly falling into disrepair.

The few families that remain eke out their existence amongst themselves, farming wheat and various fruits and vegetables.
Last month, the Botop family closed up their small farm just north of the hamlet packing their things onto carts. Moving to the city to seek a safer, more comfortable life.

Soon, likely within only a few years, the hamlet will likely become abandoned and unviable, and be left to be reclaimed by the wilderness.

To the northwest of the hamlet, lies the Wychwood. The cracked pewter grey bark, and silvery, celadon leaves of the massive elms which interlink and dapple the heath ground cover. Residents of Ambleford are all aware of the fables and 'tall' tales of witches and wizards, terrible monsters or the threats of becoming disorientated in the haar that seems to linger around the undergrowth in the woodlands; and whilst whilst deer and other creates happily call this place home, the inhabitants of Ambleford avoid entering the woodland even if they are now too old to believe in fairy stories.

It is in Ambleford that, 27 years ago, James and Carol-Anne Balou welcomed their only child to this world.

The birth of a child in a small hamlet is always seen as a good omen, and the good people of the hamlet celebrated and rallied round the family. William James Balou was the blessing his parents had prayed for.

An amiable child, he fit in well with the other children in the village, enjoying sports and games rather than education and study.

He considered the work on his parents farm, honest and rewarding. Planting crops of wheat and barley, or tending to the few rows of pear trees. He enjoyed weekends with his mother. On fridays, when the house smelled of bread and enriched doughs as his mother baked varieties of pastries and cakes; on Saturdays when they travelled the short distance from their homestead into the hamlet to sell the baked goods to neighbours and the odd tourist.

When his father's body gave out to the strenuous daily routine, William, then 22, buried him in a local plot, consoling his distraught mother. A year later, she too passed. Folks would say of a broken heart, never fully having recovered from the death of her husband.

William inherited the farm, and took to maintaining his father's and his grandfather's legacy. Using his years of experience in helping his parents to good use.

On a brief trip to Chiton he watched locals doing gymnastics. Interested he took his first tentative steps on to what he considered the most fun apparatuses the bouncing floor of the Trampoline. Encouraged by a kindly trainer to have a go, Will stepped on to woven fabric which sank below him. He bounced, cautiously at first, but enjoyed the sensation, growing more confident and jumping higher. That was the beginning of his interest in the sport.

He was able to buy a Trampoline with the small inheritance. He installed it in the large barn. When he wasn't working on the farm, he filled his spare time learning about trampolining and practicing. The laborious farm work made him physically strong and he found that core strength helped him as he discovered twisting and tumbling, acrobaticly flinging himself in the air.

He began entering local competitions and found himself, surprising himself by being competitive in the very small field of entrants. Spotted by the Beepeean Sports Committee he was offered the chance to compete at the IBA championships and he jumped at the chance, but is realistic at his chances of success.

Whilst he may not jump to the highest of heights at the championships, no matter how well he performs, he'll be back on his farm in the small hamlet of Ambleford after the championships are over, with memories and storeys to regale his friends and neighbours at the Come Back Inn.

The relatively small But powerful team will compete in four different events in January. All eyes will also be on Valletta, for the finale of the 5 day Triathlon.

Athletes to look out for include giant Timothy Caleskos who at 6'7" and weighing in at an incredible 162kg, placed first in the caber toss and second in the Stone Put and eventually went on to win Bronze at the Heavy Athletics at the Vilitan Mountain Games and 31-year-old Katerina Giorgio, competing in the triathlon, the oldest athlete who has won two gold medals at the Valletta Triathalon in 2018 and 2021.

The IBA Sports Championships marks Llalta's first voyage into the international sports scene, being the island nation's very first participation in any international sporting event. Due the island's small population of under 5,000 and limited sports resources, there have been very few athletes with the ability to represent Llalta on the world stage, with few even reaching the qualifying stages. Not to mention the lack of an internal sports federation meant it was particularly difficult for any athletes to compete under the Llaltese flag internationally. However, following trampolinist Hestia Winterbourne's return to Llalta, there has been cause for change.

In the wake of the announcement of the IBA Sports Championships, the Llaltese Federation of Sports (LFS) was formed, an independent committee which would aim to present and govern Llaltese athletes who were to compete internationally under the Llaltese flag. Headed by LBN Sports Head Aiden Langstead, the LFS (as of early 2023) will represent Llalta at all international events, the IBA Sports Championships being the first.

The pool of athletes to represent Llalta is a particularly small one, with only trampolinist Hestia Winterbourne representing Llalta at the IBA Sports Championships. Despite this however, the LFS remains hopeful that Hestia will inspire the nation of Llalta no matter her result, with this landmark participation bring one big step towards more sporting representation from the small island nation.

INTRODUCING...
Hestia Winterbourne
Born 4th of December 2002 - Age 20

Hestia Winterbourne is Llalta's leading gymnast, the island's top sportswoman at only age 20. As her surname suggests, Hestia is the younger sister of singer-songwriter and WorldVision winner Esther Winterbourne. Born in Lilliannes, a small village in the north of Llalta, Hestia was the middle child in the Winterbourne family. Whilst Esther pursued her passion for music, Hestia grew an interest in dance and gymnastics, as well as excelling in sports. At the recommendation of St. Christopher Academy's sports teacher, she travelled to Luton, Britonisea, where she enrolled in specialist sports school. Though she had joined the school thinking she would pursue tumbling, she became enamoured with the sport of trampolining, a discipline that had little to no recognition back in Llalta. After being recognised by her teachers, she began to specialise in trampolining, proving herself to be quite the force in competition settings. After placing 8th in her debut competition at age 14, she began a streak of top 10 placements in national junior competitions.

In late 2022 Hestia returned to Llalta for the first time in 5 years, where began to advocate for the promotion of sports amongst Llaltese youth. Her efforts lead to the opening of a specialist sports facility built on the outskirts of St. Christopher, allowing the people of Llalta to finally train with competition-grade equipment and a modern gym.

Lisander Teams for IBA Sports Championships, Winter Edition

ImageOrganization and Media: Rádio e Televisão de Lisander, RTL
Lisander Olympic Committee and RTL partnered to have teams participating in these IBA Sports Championships. Just like Olympics, IBA Championships will be broadcasted by the IBA Associate Member on the Principality, RTL, the public radio and television of Lisander, Through free-to-air TV, Paid TV and for the first time, through web streaming. During the games, the streaming platform Trophy (that RTL partly owns) will become free to all users in Lisander, to broadcast every event, even if there are no Lisanderian athletes. The events with Lisanderian Athletes are planned to be shown on the main channels, RTL or RTL 2.

ImageMascot: Liz the Stoat
Image
Lisanderian Olympic Committee brought back Liz, to be the mascot of the Olympic team. Liz is a gentle stoat that likes to learn and is learning to play all the olympic sports. Being a stoat, Liz is a mascot with two different appearances. For this edition, it should appear white with a black tip on the tail. Liz doesn't have a visible gender and also does not use clothes that could define it as a male or a female.

In a partnership between RTL, Lisander Olympic Committee, Lisander Rugby Union and Animati Studio, the RTL transmission of events will have the presence of Liz in various instances. The DJ and Musical Producer émilie, known by her slightly childish voice, was invited to act as the voice of Liz. She has also lent her voice to the mascot in a series of animated short films that air on RTL's programming. For this edition, there are short videos of Liz playing Basketball, Futsal and doing Gymnastics moves.

ImageNational Anthem: The Lament of the Widows
The National Anthem of Lisander is instrumental, with no lyrics. Despite being part of the anthem, usually, the starting Piano segment is skipped, and it's usual to start with the three strong drum beats (at 01:25). The so-called choir is called the "Lament of the Widows", exhorting soldiers about to go to battle to avenge their deceased husbands. No one sings the choir part (unless it's a choir).

ImageUniforms: Spear
A brand of Hedra Group, Spear has developed uniforms to be used by Lisander teams in the IBA Sports Championship. The casual attire for athletes and coaches is displayed here. With more liberty to display sponsor logos, since RTL is one of the IBA associate channels, all of the off-field apparel has the broadcaster logo. Apart from the traditional set of light and dark t-shirts, polo shirt and tracksuit, this time the athletes also get a special t-shirt with Liz, the National Team Mascot.See specific uniforms and more details in the box of each sport.

Entries / Rosters

We are updating this at the moment.

ImageOOC Notes:
  1. Due to the massive nature of events like these, I'm not establishing RP Permissions. In case of posting first, those with athletes/teams competing against Lisander athletes can write whatever, select my scorers and write about the matches. Anyways, I advance I'm not interested in write about untreatable injuries, neither for mine nor for other's athletes, unless the other player requests me in order to use this as a roleplay plot.
  2. Lisander leagues are in constant need of athletes, so I plan to actively scout athletes, including on "less active" sports, especially on the "push" ones. I plan to send telegrams over noticed athletes. Feel free to do the same if you find someone in my rosters.
  3. The RL character for "Liz" is Okojo-san, from the "Shiawase Apartments Okojo-san" anime series.

Hercules, Beepee

Eucalyptus is not a very common thing on Jemee, that world in which Tödlichebujoku lies. The first botanists and horticulturalists to return from the outworld with such plants found themselves met with a very unpleasant shock, wrangling with an intense malevolent aura radiating from the propagules, and the attending priest at the portal site immediately confirmed that the plants were cursed by the gods. The samples were then promptly secured in thaumatohazardous containment for future study. These samples came in handy as further explorations were made into the layout and biology of the underworld, where a number of very close relations were confirmed to comprise the majority of the sparse canopy cover of the dark and churning hellscape below. These expeditions were crucial in understanding the scope and scale of underworldly intrusion in the destabilization of reality that nearly toppled the Tödlichebujoki state not so long ago, and as such the trees are only found growing in the few heavily policed thaumaturgic containment zones that have been allowed to persist, cut off from uncontrollable dark energies, for further study and education.

So naturally, it was a sight for Küösti to step out into the open air in Hercules, and be greeted with uncountable numbers of eucalypts stretching across the horizon, basking in sunlight and clear blue sky. As an avid gardener in his free time, his backyard in Slehtenhanaši populated by a hodgepodge of whatever flora he found exciting or interesting, Küösti was magnetized by the sea of forbidden fruit, of shimmering leaves and dancing shadow upon the pale and stringy bark before him. He could lose himself in the breaths of sharp, minty fragrance wafting through the air, though instinct told him that these were still dangerous creatures with great violent energy lying in wait. He would, of course, take the time to visit the local botanical garden, and do what training he could in a nearby park. But of course, it was all extraordinarily foreign, not just on a national or continental level, but on a worldly one.

Was it a good omen or a bad one? He was certainly no farseer, with no training in such arts. All he could do was go with his gut and do his best in the balmy, tangy Beepeean air.

Uiseldhe Barque: In other sporting news, the IBA Sports Championships have started just today, so, let's take a look at the schedule for the Airannian athletes at this event.. not a huge delegation was sent, but almost every day, there's at least some event with Aerá participants to look forward to, which we'll cover here - let's take a look at the schedule:
11th of January:
Triathlon series: Viveró Jór and Cédriec Tartén (men), Ortenna Shallaç and Sevora Arbashéls (women), and mixed, in Beepee
Men's Trampoline qualifiers: Ermol Moerda and Andro Lotro

13th of January:
Triathlon series: Viveró Jór and Cédriec Tartén (men), Ortenna Shallaç and Sevora Arbashéls (women), and mixed, in Todlichebujoku

15th of January:
Triathlon series: Viveró Jór and Cédriec Tartén (men), Ortenna Shallaç and Sevora Arbashéls (women), and mixed, in Darkmania

17th of January:
Triathlon series: Viveró Jór and Cédriec Tartén (men), Ortenna Shallaç and Sevora Arbashéls (women), and mixed, in Illdonya

19th of January:
Triathlon series: Viveró Jór and Cédriec Tartén (men), Ortenna Shallaç and Sevora Arbashéls (women), and mixed, in Malta Comino Gozo

22nd of January:
Weightlifting: Albrina Franquécy (55kg class)

24th of January:
Weightlifting: Ulatre Décibeq and Stági Stéfnigny (both 73kg class)

26th of January:
Weightlifting: Chyp Keilgenn (81kg class), Kálya Rouff (64kg class)

28th of January:
Weightlifting: Johella Houdreq (76kg class)

This is of course, pending the schedules for the Basketball and Futsal teams, which haven't yet been released. We'll provide you with an updated version once those are available - say, André, do you believe there's any odds any of the Airannians might come away with a medal here?

André Eoballiual: I wouldn't dare be overly hopeful for anything, Uiseldhe, but as you might know, I don't exactly think any Airannians will truly shine on this event - with the exception of our weightlifting atheletes, of course!
Uiseldhe: Of course, of course
André: And otherwise, I think any other medals we might earn as a nation would be highly appreciated, but it would be silly to assume they'd fly into our lap, so to say.
Uiseldhe: So you expect the latter half of the event to be much more exciting from our point of view?
André: Let's put it that way, yes! Oh! Though I could also be forgetting about our Basketball teams, especially the men's team, since their schedule isn't released yet - there's good chances they'll be able to at least push through the round robin, too.
Uiseldhe: I see, thank you André - that concludes our program for today! Please tune in tomorrow, as we discuss the events that are going to take place very soon; as mentioned before, the qualifiers for the men's trampoline, and the first Triathlon Series event - we have to sign off, but we'll see you tomorrow!
André: Farewell!

IBA Sports Championships 2023

Dear viewers, welcome to the show dedicated to the first edition of the IBA Sports Championship.
This competition is a combination of individual and team sports disciplines. Our sports national selection is made up of Olympic representatives and of new young rising sports stars as well.

Competitions will be held in gymnastics, sports gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and trampoline, then in triathlon and weightlifting.
Team competitions will be in 3x3 basketball, futsal, sepak takraw, rhythmic gymnastics and dodgeball.
This will be an incredible sports trip for our representatives, becouse competitions will be held in several host countries.
The host countries will be Britonisea, Darkmania, Malta Comino Gozo, Beepee, Todlichebujoku, Pemecutan, Ildonya, The Cordian Isles. All these countries have prepared brilliantly to host the competitors and of course all sports fans.

The first day of the competition is behind us and our representatives recorded very good results.

Tia Curović was great in the rhythmic gymnastics qualifications. Tia was the only one of all the gymnasts to go over 100 points in total and thus was the best in the qualifications. Tia scored a total of 102,075 for her exercises. Our other representative, Agnesza Hurkany, failed to enter the final. Agnesza was 13th in total. The ten best gymnasts enter the final, and the result of 87.700 was still only enough for thirteenth place.

"I am personally satisfied with my performance and I hope to repeat the same in the final. I did everything the way it should have been. I was a bit slow in the first rotation, a little because of the nervousness, but when the nervousness subsided, everything went as I imagined. I am looking forward to it to the final," said Tia Curović

" This was not the best day for me, as we have seen. However, I have to be satisfied because I won the silver medal at the national championship after shoulder surgery. It is difficult to be at the top after such an injury. This is a very strong competition and I won more points but at the national championship, which is a sign that I'm getting back in shape." Agnesza Hurkany was very satisfied.

GYMNASTIC TRAMPOLINE - Britonisea

We watched both men's and women's trampoline competitions.
In the male part of the competition, we had two representatives, Igor Robić and Viktor Greović.
Igor Robić managed to reach the finals with a total score of 102.530, which placed him in seventh place in the qualification. Unfortunately, Viktor Greović failed to enter the top 10. Greović made a big error in the third rotation, which in the end greatly reduced his overall score, and with 90.875, he won only 16th place.

In the women's part of the competition, as well as in the men's, we have two competitors. Jasna Belušić managed to reach the finals as fourth in the qualifications with a total score of 104.445. The young gymnast was particularly good in her second performance.
However, Maja Kožman was very bad, she made a huge error in her first performance and won a miserable 2,360 for that performance. In the second performance, she was also a failure of the competition and won the last place with 19,805 points.
