@Lieđđi Sirunieida That is good to hear, I have heard in many democracies that there are corrupt bosses such as the likes of Tweed running places. Just concerned because we are a new democracy and I just hope we don’t make that mistake.

@Luciano Ferrer Might have missed my post, is there anything I can do to help down there? Are there any charities I can donate to?

@Anastasija Kladnov Well, I certainly can't speak for anywhere else but the Pinelands. One, I'm not very educated on how democracies work past our own, and two, our kind can't be compared to others, like the traditional representative democracies, at least so I've heard. I guess the only thing I can do is give you and your country best wishes!
By the way, would it be too much to ask to be "caught up" on what Bolrieg is about? You know, a TL:DR or something?

BREAKING NEWS: The Queen Is Hospitalized After Contracting COVID
Final Update

Queen Alexis II is expected to be released on the 15th of December. This is two months after she had her heart surgery due to her collapsing from COVID. The Queen is expected to not appear in public for 3 to 6 months, so she can fully heal. Her wife, Queen Consort Katie, and her cousin, Prince Fredrick, will fill in for her at public events and Prince Fredrick will still be regent until the Queen is fully healed.

In other news, today I'll be partaking in the festivities of the Norgga Giitevašvuohta Festivála, within the Council of Øy-Ekspedisjon. Even though I really don't have any connection to Scandinavian culture myself I still actively support it's celebration and promotion here within the Pinelands. It might be demonised by some because of the Colonial Period but in the modern day I think it's perfectly okay to take pride in your heritage, and that's what this 12 hour long Festival will be all about.

My best wishes to all the organisers of the celebration, and a special good luck to the band TrassigSverd and all of it's members. I'll be rooting for you in the crowds!

Guided Missile Maiden Wembury

After the day passed, the Elder Council, with a heavy heart, authorized the SDF to dispatch a strike force in order to assist our friends in the Visayan Islands per Article 1 of the Accords on the Foundation of a Strategic and Economic Alliance between Free and Sovereign Peoples.
Today, the Envoy of Lodan Lir and the High Priest of Carman Fea blessed the vessels of said strike force, as they departed Wembury. Of course, I can not speak of the exact composition of the force, but my sister, the cruiser SDFS Bruinneall is in the lead. On her helicopter landing deck, the sacred ceremonies were conducted.
The force also includes a number of freighters loaded with medical and humanitarian supplies, which were sent out as gifts by the people of the Free Lands.

I’m glad that Lexi is recovering and is being released tomorrow. I’ll be happy to have her back home. Annie will be on break in a weeks time and we’ll be able to spend Christmas as a family.

@Queen Consort Katie Congratulations on Alexis' recovery, as I said before. That must be greatly relieving and good news for you all. I'm doing alright myself, though being up this early after a late night in the Øy-Ekspedisjon is certainly draining. I wouldn't trade it for the world though, it was a great festival.

And in a couple of days I'm heading over to Anatolia to partake in a formal celebration. December's certainly an interesting month for me!

Lieđđi Sirunieida It certainly is relieving that she’s back home now. It still concerns me as Alexis family has a history of heart failure. Her father, King William IV, died at the age of 59, due to heart related issues. When I heard that she had to have heart surgery, I was devastated. She’s only 35, she’ll be 36 in February.

Anyway, I understand the feeling of late nights and early mornings, although mine aren’t because of festivals, unfortunately. At least I’ll get a few weeks of relative calmness now that Alexis is back.

As for our history we have existed for over 1000 years and have had the same Royal house ruling the Kingdom throughout that time we have had a great deal of thing happen.
