2022 BAUMISH OPEN MEN'S SINGLES
PLAYER NAME: Suahuc Minzayit (/suahux mɪnʒʌjð/)

SKILL LEVEL: 94

PLAYER STRENGTHS: Serve, Volley, Groundstroke(Backhand), Spin

PLAYER WEAKNESSES: Footwork, Rotation, Timing, Consistency

STYLE: All-Court

HEIGHT: 193 cm (6 ft 4 in)

PLAYS: Right-handed (two-handed backhand)

DESCRIPTION: Minzayit is an all-court tennis player, which makes him have aspects of every tennis style. He uses the best bits from each style and mixes them together to create a truly formidable tennis style to play against. In-game situations he is very versatile; when his's baseline game is not working, he may switch to a net game and vice versa. He has the ability to adjust to different opponents that play different styles more easily than pure baseliners and true volleyers with an adaptive change in strategies and tactics even during the gameplay. He has the determination and fitness of a defensive counter-puncher, the confidence, skill and flair of an offensive baseliner, as well as the touch, the agility around the net and the tactical thinking of a serve-and-volleyer. His favourite surface is clay. He favours forehand shots. Minzayit also possesses a strong serve and moves well around the court. He is able to generate power easily off both wings but is sometimes prone to unforced errors. Additionally, Suahuc plays with high intensity at each point, which can wear down his opponents during long matches. However, just because he has a combination of skills used by all tennis styles does not necessarily mean that they can beat an offensive baseliner or a defensive counter-puncher or even a serve-and-volleyer. It just means it would be more difficult to read his game.

Analysis by Tennis Expert Braune Volyene

The first match was rather interesting. Both players showed a high level of competency and skill. However in the end, Motaz Nasraoui from Najimam barely won the match by a point.

The Najimamian player, Motaz Nasraoui is an extremely experienced professional and is widely regarded as one of the best players in Najimam. And indeed Nasraoui seemed to be a very gifted player. His serve was absolutely magnificent; its precision and speed made it almost impossible to counter. His accuracy was spot on. Combined with his incredible timing, Nasraoui perfectly returns every ball to the opponent with such ease. His shoulder rotation was also excellent.

The Rehaajlian player, Hokana Jaowp, was also just as talented. His serve like Nasraoui was difficult to return and his precise timing was extraordinary. However, Jaowp also showed his capability in volley shots. His volley was so quick, that it was hard for the opponent to react in time, a skill which is crucial in the sport. Likewise, the spin on his hits was perfect.

However, both players had a major weakness. Like most tennis players, both Nasraoui and Jaowp seem to lack fluency in hitting a backhand. They struggled to return a backhand ball at times which often affected their overall scores. They both also did not display a sufficient level of expertise on the "slicing" technique. But it can be said that both players seem to be a stark contrast. While Nasraoui showed his expertise in rotation, Jaowp seemed to lack this. And while Nasraoui struggled in volley shots and spins, Jaowp seems to have perfected them both. Another issue to note is Jaowps' insane power, which at times gets explosive and it must be learnt to be controlled.

Overall, both players are extremely skilled players and seem to be excellent opponents. Congratulations to Nasraoui for his win and excellent job Jaowp!

Analysis by Tennis Expert Braune Volyene

Both the Uprean and Costavozkan players were very gifted in the sport, although it is clear that one of them is more skilled and experienced. In this round, Cornelio Tomas from Uprea won.

The Uprean player, Cornelio Tomas, has a clear advantage on backhands. He seems to have mastered his backhand, a common weakness among tennis players. Tomas also has a fast reaction time. His speed allows him to move around the court, allowing him to hit almost every ball. He is also able to control his power, which along with his insanely accurate aim, which makes his returns difficult to counter. Overall, he is extremely competent in returning the ball.

The Costavozkan player, Kristopher Hendaravic also shows a high level of expertise in tennis. Like Tomas, his speed and power is astonishing, which allows Hendaravic to also return the ball with ease. His reaction time is also outstanding. Within mere seconds he is able to react accordingly in time in order to run toward the ball and return it Meanwhile, his footwork allows him to get into position very quickly. Hendaravic, like Tomas, is very good in hitting the ball in time.

These of course, do not come with weaknesses. Both Tomas and Hendaravic's serves can still be very easily returned and neither of them are experienced in "slicing". Tomas' hits do not have enough spin on them in order to hit straight and from what we can see, he is not too experienced in volley. Throughout the match, Tomas did not successfully perform a volley. On the other hand, Hendaravic's ability on the backhand is still insufficient and at times misfires or goes out of the court. His predictability is also rather weak, as it is shown that he often ends up on the wrong spot to return the ball.

On the field, both of them are excellent on returning the ball, but lacks style or technique. Congratulations to Tomas on his win and good job to Hendaravic!

Analysis by Tennis Expert Braune Volyene

Imagine the surprise of millions around the world when the player from Aeteros, David Cansello easily beat Solé, the tennis champion. Needless to say, the match had very unexpected results.

Not a lot expected a relatively unknown David Cansello, who had just gotten out of college to beat Timoteu Solé, an international tennis champion who had won many tournaments over the past few decades and is regarded as one of the best tennis players. However, Cansello showed his capabilities with his quick reaction time and accuracy. His extremely rapid serve seemed impossible to return in time and he is able to control his power appropriately. The young tennis player however, showed promising results.

Everyone knows Timoteu Solé, the international tennis professional from Rodaves. Like always, the maestro showed his skills in the forehand, which he almost always seemed to hit. His mental strength and tenacity is mind-blowing. Solé is used to tiring tennis matches which can sometimes take hours to finish. Solé's hits are always aggressive. His fast, rapid movements are often too fast to react to. However, his pace was no match for Cansello.

It has always been known that Solé's greatest weakness is his own pace. Often, his fiery power is unleashed, which could lead to his hits being misfired. His serves are also still easy to counter. At times, he struggles to adapt to the match. Solé is also rather weak in his backhands. On the other hand, Cansello inexperience can still be seen on the court. The young player lacks technique in his returns and is still inexperienced in "volley". Also, his footwork is still inefficient and could still be improved.

However, Cansello seems to have a promising future in tennis ahead. Congratulations on your win Cansello and excellent job Solé

Analysis by Tennis Expert Braune Volyene

The match between Potac Axcalachchotl and Gerald Isonov was perhaps, one of the quickest ones so far. It took only just around 2 hours for a winner to be determined.

The Geristokian player, Gerald Isonov showed his abilities on his spot-on accuracy. His pace was also always unexpected. You may expect an hard, aggressive hit after a light, gentle one. Isonov also has incredible timing and speed. He is able to head toward the ball and hit it at the right moment. While not much can be said him yet, we could potentially see him entering the semifinals, the first example from an eternan nation in a long time.

The Salimanasian player, Potac Axcalachchotl was also quite experienced. He was able to correctly control his pace and return most balls. His serve always landed on the cross-court service box and was so fast that it seemed difficult to counter. Axcalachchotl also showed his knowledge in various techniques. He was able to do a "slice" perfectly and his ball had a sufficient amount of spin on them.

However, both of their footwork can still be fixed. Also, Axcalachchotl was not fast enough in order to reach the ball on time and he took far too long to get into position. His aim at times also leads him to misfire at the wrong direction and his shoulder rotation is rather inefficient. Meanwhile, Isonov's hits lacks enough spin and like most tennis players, he struggled to return backhand. He is rather weak in "volley" and almost always only hits after the ball bounces.

It's quite clear that experienced Isonov easily outperforms the newer Axcalachchotl. Congratulations to Isonov and great job Axcalachchotl

Analysis by Tennis Expert Braune Volyene

Tensions were high during the match between Nisryn and Esterazdravo match. To millions of Nisri and Esterazians, every second of the match mattered.

The Esterazian playrer, Wycliffe Bartholomew, displayed a high level of accuracy. His hits landed perfectly and rarely missed. His reaction time was also excellent. Bartholomew was able to hit almost every ball and successfully return it. We must not also mention his incredible serve, which was often difficult to return. His footwork was also great and was very efficient. Overall, Bartholomew seemed very competent.

The Nisri player, Suahuc Minzayit, was also very experienced. His serves were also incredibly fast and difficult to counter in time. He is also very flexible to change. When his baseline game is not working, he may switch to a net game and vice versa. So it is no surprise that his "volley" is regarded as one of the best. Being double-handed, Minzayit has an advantage on both forehands and backhands, although often he prefers using forehands.

However, it seems that Bartholomew's speed isn't satisfactory. His backhand is also still underdeveloped and can still be greatly improved. His stamina is also rather weak and Bartholomew's hits lack any technique. On the other hand, Minzayit struggles with his timing. His shoulder rotation and footwork are also rather inefficient. But most importantly, his hits lack consistency.

Both players tried their very best and in the end, one of them came out victorious. Congratulations to Bartholomew on his win and excellent job Minzayit!
