Hi,
I am playing with the thought of getting involved, most likely (read: Definately) with the High Kingdom, my FanT-Canon. But first, a couple of questions:
    1. Does Hogwarts exist and can we bomb it into rubble?
    2. What is the local policy on WMDs? And while we are at it, what are the rules?
    3. What is the rest of Europe, and maybe even the US and the rest of the Commonwealth, thinking about this?
    4. Who is fighting for what exactly? And who are the leaders?
    5. Who is arming the "Various Scottish and Welsh militias"?
    6. What is the situation at the onset of the Civil War?

Features: near-universal gun ownership, governmental dysfunction, terrified Christinaslander Air National Guard personnel counting down the days until they rotate back home, and an eternal standoff with the last of it's former oppressors.

Not Hogwarts, there are two similar schools,
Evola International School (which also teaches philosophy, the wizardry lessons being secret) and another school, John of Nottingham School, governed by Avery of Tewkesbury (the only school openly teaching wizardry, a legal grey area as it claims to operate on behalf of the crown, being technically a highly selective state school).
Bombing John of Nottingham school would lead to various curses and air-strikes.
Then if you didn’t pay reparations and a new government wasn’t in power, you’d be nuked.
2. What is the local policy on WMDs? And while we are at it, what are the rules?

I haven’t decided all the rules yet.

3. What is the rest of Europe, and maybe even the US and the rest of the Commonwealth, thinking about this?

America has sent spies as its currently unsure which side to back.
Almost all of Europe support the Parliamentarians but Monaco supports the monarchists as does the Caliphate (which includes Bosnia) and Russia.
4. Who is fighting for what exactly? And who are the leaders?

Parliamentarians are fighting for Parliament to be indisputably in charge. The general view is that Prince William will be appointed as a Swedish style monarch both legally and in practice, almost half of them want a Republic though whether the president should be executive or purely ceremonial is debated amongst these.
The Scots and Welsh are fighting independence and the IRA are fighting for a United Ireland.
The parliamentarians are lead politically by Rishi Sunak and militarily by Henry De Ritter, head of the Royal Dragoon Guards.

The monarchists are lead politically by King Charles III and militarily by General-Sir Nick Perry.

The strategic leaders of the IRA factions have not yet announced their real names but are expected to do so soon.

The political leadership of the Scottish and Welsh nationalists is the same as the IRL political parties whilst the military leadership is by hitherto unknown outdoorsmen conducting a guerrilla operation.

I was referring to the graduates of the school in secret government departments or employed at universities in secular countries.

1. My girls haven't even taken off.
2. Even if we handwave it to "Okay, they took off and are cruising at altitude an altitude of 15,000 feet above the North Atlantic, north of the islands of Sula Sgeir, North Rona and Sule Skerry", how did your jinns detect and engage them? And avoided detection for long enough to come into combat range with what essentially amounts to the drone version of a Hawkeye?

Interesting, thank you. A few questions in regards to that:
"Can travel faster then humans" - how fast?
"they can be killed by highly skilled magic users and/ other jinns." - no other options are available? Like, for instance, shoving an AMRAAM down their gullet?
"they can shapeshift" - what exactly does that mean? Can they make it so they look human or are they limited to inanimate objects? If I step onto their toes, does that displess the shapeshift? If they transform into, say, a bird, can they fly?

An average speed of 2,400 square feet in five minutes.
But, like I said, your side can summon them too since you’ve got witches and there are rival factions amongst them.
"they can be killed by highly skilled magic users and/ other jinns." - no other options are available? Like, for instance, shoving an AMRAAM down their gullet?

No other options for killing them but exorcists can render them temporarily harmless.

...square feet is a measure of area, not distance.
But anyway, thank you for the answers.
I'll now hope to confuse Jinns by use of the mightiest unit in the Arsenal of the Muster of Ships and their mightiest weapon: The Air Ballet of the Naval Aviation, dancing the Can Can, complete with flying legs.
