Member search acting up?

Normally when I click on the member list on the forum, I can click on "find a member", and a new page pops up with a box allowing me to search by nation name, founding date, etc. for the person I'm looking for. However, recently when I click "find a member", I get an error message saying "no mode specified", and no way for me to enter search terms.

Is this a known issue? Was this function disabled on purpose and I missed it because I haven't been on NS as much lately?

Edit to add: Windows 7, latest version of Firefox.

I've tested this and the result produced is the same as the OP described.

I am using Google Chrome's latest version on a Microsoft computer.

I know it was happening to me earlier this week (i.e. not on Thursday) as well.

It's not related to the Thursday forum resync. It was disabled a week or two back, I believe as a bot kept hammering parts of the member list, causing performance issues.

Honestly, I don't know why guests and bots are allowed to access the memberlist. It probably wouldn't be a bad idea for accessing the memberlist and profiles to require login as a nation, just like being able to search.
