Initial ICON PlanMission Statement
ICON is a Diplomatic, Military, Humanitarian, and Economic Cooperation Organization/Alliance that aims to be an Icon and role model for the World promoting Diplomatic, Military, and Economic Cooperation, Furthering Humanitarian Efforts, and promoting and providing for the common defense of its member nations. We aim to have member nations prosper in this alliance through Economic and Diplomatic Cooperation as well and provide safety, security, and defense to member nations. We also aim to be a role model to the World through Cooperation, Economic Prosperity, and Humanitarian Efforts.Government Structure of ICON
ICON shall have 4 major Alliance Governing Divisions, the Security Council, Assembly of Nations, Council of Overseers, and The ICON International Court of Law. The Security Council shall be made up of the Founders who are Permanent SC Members and 4 other SC members elected by the Assembly of Natons. The Assembly of Nations also elect Overseers which manage departments of the Alliance such as Finance, Expeditionary Forces, and Humanitarian Efforts. These Overseers have to be approved by the Security Council who can also dismiss them. The Council of Overseers and the Assembly of Nations are led by the Seceratary-General who is the face and formal leader of the Alliance as a whole. The Assembly of Nations is headed by the President of the Assembly of Nations who is elected every session of the Assembly of Nations.Founders
The Founders of ICON are the founding members of the alliance. They are permanent Security Council Members and also have the right to accept or deny applications into the alliance. The Founders can also kick members out of the alliance but this can be reversed and vetoed by another Founding member as well as accepting and denying applications.Members
The Members of ICON are nations that have been accepted to the alliance as full members. The Members have a delegation led by the [Insert Nation Denonym] Ambassador to ICON. They can also have other people in their delegation if they intend to run for officer or general staff and advisors for the Ambassador and Delegation. Members can vote on ICON proposals and resolutions, can run for ICON Offices, Be elected to the ICON Security Council, and are under the Common Defense policy where an attack on one ICON member is an attack on all ICON members.Observers
Observers are nations that have either applied for observer status within ICON and have been accepted, nations that have applied for membership but have not been accepted as full members but accepted as observers or nations that have been demoted by a agreement or consensus by a vote of member nations. Observer nations can attend the Assembly of Nations and have their own delegation provided that it doesn't exeed 20 people and that said nation/delegation cannot vote on a proposal or run for office/ be elected to the ICON Security Council when voting/elections take place. Observers though are allowed to address the Assembly of Nations and take part in military exercises.
Welcome to the ICON Planning Phase! After negotiation and discussion with individual founding members, finally, Anagonia, Neo-Korea, and Darlingtown have all approved ICON and the ICON Planning Phase Conference will be held in Imperia City with all Founding members to create the ICON Charter and finalize the formation of ICON.
IDoEA staff rushed int o the lotus building to make sure everyhting was ready. Sanitization, Decoration, and Accomidation for the dignitarie had to be top notch. With the Final decorations ready the meetings could finnaly begain.
The Imperial Secretary of External Affairs was preparing her things for the meeting. Everythign had been compleated for the preparations and the meetings would start soon.
