Ambassador Callan Ford once again found himself in the halls of the Twin Pines Diplomatic Complex. The Diplomatic Complex was quite modern. It had three buildings on the grounds of the facility; the main forum building for diplomatic functions, a hotel unit that included all the necessary amenities being so far from home, and a smaller building that acted as Callan's headquarters. It had served previously as the successful meeting point for the Conference of the Twin Pines. Now it would serve to host a summit for the purpose of investigating the potential of an alliance to be created. There was no guarantee that the alliance would be founded this day, but Ambassador Ford was confident they would get progress enough to justify an investigation at the very least.
In two short days the representatives from the interested parties would arrive. Like last time before the Conference of the Twin Pines took place, President Canisilus contacted Callan to give him a heads up of the upcoming event. It was a private affair, not to be broadcasted to any of Anagonia's current allies or relations. The President made it known this was strictly a courtesy event that, if found to be beneficial for Anagonia, was to be pursued. Callan would be the one to make the call if it was worthy of the Confederacy's commitment. Since being informed of the expected summit, Callan had worked overtime to prepare his diplomatic facility for the event. Things were now settled, arranged, and made ready, with rooms even in the adjacent hotel made open and accessible for the expected dignitaries. Security had been appropriately ramped up and would provide the transportation for dignitaries from their arrival at the airport to the facility proper.
Looking at the meeting room that had successfully hosted the Conference of the Twin Pines, Callan felt a bit of pride swell in him. This time there wasn't the world on the line, per say, but at the very least he was still conducting important diplomacy. That was all that mattered. The President had already sent out the "greeting card" message to the expected arrivals. Callan didn't even know who all was expected to arrive, so secret was the event. Either way, meals and rooms had been appropriately prepared with non-offensive materials just in case. Everything was ready for the arrival of the surprise guests from afar.

This message I am sending to all participant nations interested in the founding of the UCN. The location of this summit, known officially as the Third Summit, shall take place at our Twin Pines Diplomatic Complex located within the Territory of the West Islands. Ambassador Callan Ford is the head of this facility and will be our representative to this investigative affair. Your representatives will be provided food, hotel rooms, and accommodations as well as any staff they bring. The Confederate States will be providing security.
